  1. Dragonid stashed his jetpack and other gear securely, then slumped in his seat and waited for the Devotion to depart. He did not know enough about the technology to help in the preparations, or to plot a course or to pilot the ship. Until they reached their destination, all he could do was study the intelligence. He repeatedly returned to the data on the Mekirris. The cyborgs brought back memories from lifetimes ago of such horrible cyborgs. These were less crude, but the conversions must have been no less horrific. "With so many of them with such varied skills, it is difficult to plan any sort of tactics. If we find too many of them in one place it could well be bloody chaos." he said, quietly.
  2. As the technicians rose off ground under the power of Ghost Girl, Dragonid hissed. They were now clear of the antibodies, as long as she could hold them up there, but they must pose an even more attractive target for the two needle fighters circling the area. "I will watch the technicians in the air." He yelled, before taking off to chase off the fighters. Jetting ahead to bring the enemy in range, he breathed out a tight ball of hot fire, carefully guiding it across the sky to slam directly into the fighter's rear, consuming the whole thing in a massive explosion. "I just hope I am too big a threat for the second to ignore."
  3. The Fighters aren't minions, right? Flame Breath: Attack Roll: 1d20+8 23 DC 27
  4. Going to fly up to hover between the fighters and the floating technicians. Are the fighters still in range of him? Or he'll ready an action to fire on them when they come back around.
  5. "Yeah, I think I can hold them off out here." Lightning called back to Foreshadow, with all the confidence he could express. The claw that had ripped across his thigh didn't hurt enough to affect his fighting yet, but if any more got through, who knew. "We can take you down as fast as you come." He said as he squared off against three more antibodies. Crack Crack Crack. He had lost count of how many times he'd seen his trusty whip knock the alien soldiers down. As long as they kept going down this easy, he'd be ok.
  6. Going to continue attacking as normal, hoping not to get hit any more. DC22 + takedown.
  7. "Among my people", said Dragonid, "Such criminals would have been thrown to the gladiator pits. If they were not promoted to generals. But then, I am not fond of my people's justice. For many reasons." Not the least of which was his own experiences in those pits, for merely demanding his birthright. To make his intentions more clear, he added."We can not have these criminals on the loose, though. We will detain them as quickly as possible and hope that they can be imprisoned safely somewhere for the rest of their lives."
  8. As the other Praetorians left Kharag and Dragonid alone on the plateau, Dragonid glared at the remaining pirates still standing in front of him. They did not heed warnings, they did not recognize the obvious superior force. "Will some fires beneath your feet teach you to run?" he asked them, blowing out a long stream of flame which he bent to his will. The flames danced across the ground, a trail of flames leading to each of the pirates in turn. The hungry frames licked at the pirates legs, but one managed jump nearly completely out of the way, and of the others only one was unable to beat the flames away.
  9. Dragonid looked over the list of subjects with interest, trying to pick out features to remember each of them. All sounded dangerous as presented by the Lor Commander, but the Lor themselves did not look very imposing, the threat to warriors like the Praetorians might be far less. "Where have these criminals been seen?" asked Dragonid. "Have they been limited to a single world or acting throughout a whole region? There must be... thousands of livable worlds out there to hide on. If we can not narrow things down this will be a very long search."
  10. There are 4 pirates left on our plateau? Dragonid will use his shapeable damage effect to try to hit them all. DC 15 reflex, dc 20 toughness.
  11. Seeing that Foreshadow was eventually going to topple the Antibody he faced, Coiled Lightning scanned the nearby area. He saw some UNISON soldier under assault and rushed over to help. "It's why we're here." he smiled as his swung his whip, cracking it with a shower of spark against the head of each of two antibodies sending them crashing backwards to fall to the ground. He breathed heavily as he looked around, feeling sweat collect in his costume. Safe for the moment, he tipped his hat to the soldiers. "We all holding up alright?"
  12. Initiative: 1d20+2 9 Looks like the stick together plan isn't happening, but will stick with the technicians if they seem in danger.
  13. Dragonid knelt in an observation room, deep in thought. Stars in unfamiliar constellations stretched before him. He knew many of those stars harbored worlds of sentient beings. Sentient beings whose existence had been only narrowly saved. Finally, with the Communion defeated, for the second time, he had time to relax. Time to consider everything that had happened. He knew virtually nothing of the galaxy when he first joined the Praetorians, fresh off his backwater planet. But he had come eager to learn. Now though, everything he had learned of the stars and their civilizations was ancient history. The empire, gone. His homeworld? Who knows? Nobody he had spoken with had heard of his people. Maybe some disaster had struck them. Maybe they had destroyed themselves. Maybe they remained stuck on Dragos, fighting amongst themselves for millennia. Emerging from deep sleep in this new time, almost a new galaxy, to once again fight the Communion had been hard. To burn their antibodies to char, to see them stopped once again, at least for a time, was satisfying. But he looked out among the myriad stars before him, wondering what strange new worlds they held. His thoughts were interrupted by Paradigm, summoning the Praetorians over the coms. The red-scaled reptillian warrior rose from his resting place, and made his way to the command center. "Praetorian Dragonid reporting."
  14. Charlie bit back a moment of hesitation as he saw the antibodies charging again. His wound might be healed, but he could still remember what the communion foot soldiers could do. But this wasn't time to run, just to wait for the right moment. As they drew close enough, the whip lashed out, almost as if of its own volition, sparks flying as it slashed across one antibody's chest then snapping the other's head back. Egged on by his success, he couldn't hold back his enthusiasm and stepped forward to crack his whip against each of the others. Three of the creatures were left crumpled on the ground. "Something like that would be better, I think." he joked to Foreshadow.
  15. I"ll take 10 to strike one of the nearby antibodies. DC 22, With a takedown if possible.
  16. "You know that I have experience with bringing war against the ruling party. That can be the only option to get what you think is right. A king should be mindful of his subjects, to prevent such discontent from boiling over." Dragonid let his thoughts ramble as they walked. "Do not think that Ahazar and his allies there were alone, another figure may step up in the future and try to lead your people against you again." The images Dragonid had seen when connected to the cyborg's mind continued to haunt him, the threat of his own people turned to grotesque monsters, the horrors of he process itself.."I hope these Technoassassins do not play a part again. They are a plague that must be hunted down and incinerated at the source."
  17. After the general took the rest of the armor off himself, Dragonid nodded. "We will still have to restrain you for safe keeping. Do not try to escape. Without your armor you are even less of a match for us." He slowly breathed out a line of fire and bent it in to a series of ropes, solidifiying them and tying the prisoner up securely. I think these bonds will hold him until we can the former general to a more permanent holding location, he thought to Kharag. But we should not wait here long.
  18. Seeing Azahar stop fighting and slump down, Dragonid assumed Kharag had succeeded in assaulting his mind. He did not look dangerous now, but he did not know how long Kharag could keep him docile. But he would be much less dangerous without that armor on. Dragonid stepped forward and reached to pull off the general's high-tech gloves. "You will not need these any more. Your fight is over." He looked around at the other Za'aki present, ready for any of them to step forward and protest or join the fight themselves. He tucked the gauntlets under his arm to keep them out of reach of anyone else.
  19. Do I need to roll to hit? Or will he let me bind him up under Kharag's control?
  20. Can I stunt a snare 12 power from my pyrokinesis array and bind him up with some solid fire.
  21. If he seems momentarily unresisting, Dragonid will try to take off his armor, starting with gauntlets since they seemed to be the source of his attacks.
  22. Flame Breath: Power Attack 2: 1d20+6 25 Finally, that should hit DC 29 flamey damage
