  2. Hey all!!! Looking to get my Alien Archer/Sniper chick into some action!!! Anyone wanna do some space adventures? Looking for both players and a GM XD
  3. 2 questions: How far apart are they? And what is Vince doing?
  4. "Ugh. It's awful." The smell was so strong that Skaere could practically taste it. She smacked her lips together as her mouth worked, tongue darting out as if to wipe the taste away. "My opinion stands. There is little I can't tear apart with my claws. Besides, I'm not so great at the stealthy thing." She reached out and ran her hand over one of the concrete supports. Her claws easily tearing through the top layer like butter. "Besides, whoever did this is a special kind of evil and deserves to know that their time is up and there is little they can do about it." While she didn't plan on killing whoever had done this, she wasn't against giving them a healthy dose of fear. After all, she was pretty scary. Or so she thought.
  5. Alright. I have her at a wounded chest/shoulder. Probably hindering her ability to move somewhat. Your up!
  6. Skaere looked down from her howl in time to see the horse whine and rear back, galloping off into the forest at the urge of it's natural instincts. The hunter, however, had barely faltered. Clearly, his fight or flight instincts had chosen the former. Which wasn't ideal really. She had hoped he would turn away at least, give them time to get away.... but it wasn't meant to be. The hunter took aim again and Skaere could do little except make sure the shot hit her and not her charge. With a deafening crack the bullet hit her near the junction of her arm and chest. She yelped and whined, her legs nearly giving out from the force. Pushing them back to full height, the pressure on her shoulder sends white lights of pain behind her eyes. A shake of her wolfy head takes a moment to help focus her mind and looking up she can already see the hunter taking aim. Without the ability to speak she really only has one option. She growled at the hunter, baring her teeth. She looked back at Vince, motioning with her head, hoping that the man understood for him to get down, to run before the hunter fires again. The tell tale sound of grinding metal perked her ears as the hunter put pressure on the trigger....
  7. Yeah. Go ahead and have him attack again!
  8. Polarity didn’t break cover lightly. She had no idea what was going on. No idea what to expect from these soldiers. Why the heck are there Roman soldiers here! This place makes no dang sense! She kept herself hidden until Lord Zandar spoke to the… commander? The dude in the shiny armor who was obviously in charge. She had the element of surprise and didn’t want to waste it. Not if it might save them. However when she saw that the Lord was on good terms with them, she finally stepped out from behind the tree. However her posture didn’t relax. She stayed on guard, walking lightly as she gathered with the rest of the group. Everything seemed easygoing enough but… who else was here? Why would there be others in this place? It didn’t make sense.
  9. Ugh. So sorry for the delay. Got crazy busy. But I have returned!!! Toughness: 1d20+7 14 Curses!!! Does being wounded have any negative affects? Still not sure how it all works (Haven't done much combat)
  10. "Ugh. Between the wolf smell and the rotton eggs I can barely breathe in here." Skaere turned toward the door, taking a deep breath filled with hints of the outside world before turning back inside. When she did, the room had been illuminated by Sekhmet. Her bright green eyes focused on the caged wolves, feeling a bit of anger welling up inside herself. Pelts were everywhere. The hides of numerous wolves left dangling without care for the lives that were snuffed out in their retrieval. However Skaere felt no overwhelming kinship with them though. Yes, she was technically part wolf. Or at least, a part of her was, but she in her own mind was still more human than animal. Still, part of her felt a sense of loss for these creatures. It was more an instinct than an emotion. Her unconscious mind latching on where her human self tried to put distance between herself and the beasts. "Why is that smell so strong? The... sulfur right? Smells fresh." She gave her big wolfy head a shake, as if it might help push the scent aside.
  11. It wouldn't spook his horse at all?
  12. Sweet! Didn't realize I guess Thevshi. Just have a tab open for her XD
  13. PC Name: Seika Player: GooseInduced Origin: Kahi'iru Archetype: Archer/Sniper Mode of Travel: None really. Typical Haunts: Lor Space, Space Station Primus Has history with Starshot. Mostly a bow for hire but only takes jobs on the up and up. She won't hesitate to help if a situation just goes bad though. Her main objective is to travel as much of the galaxy as she can.
  14. Its sense dependent though so that means the hunter gets a chance to cover his ears... I think.
  15. Alrighty. Skaere is howling. The hunter and his horse both need to make DC 17 checks for fear I think. :-)
  16. Skaere was panting, mouth open, great breaths puffed at the dirt beneath her.she gave her Wolfy head a shake to clear it before craning her neck. She looked back at Vince with one green eye. Her gaze was clear, wild, but clear and Vince would know she was still with him too. She heard the sound of the gun primed to fire and whipped her head around in time to feel the debris of the shot as it hit the dirt and sprayed it into her fur. A deep growl resonated in her throat. Skaere pushed them both up on her fours and stood as tall as she could. As she did so she took a deep breath and when her head came up she let out a loud howl. The sound was deep and manacing but rose in tone and volume. The sound echoed off the trees around them and scattered a few of the birds that still remained. It made no difference man or beast, the howl of the wolf was something to be feared.
  17. Dang. Alright... Dropped her Charisma down to 8 because she is kinda strange and added second chance back in addition to making her powers value at 44. Hope it all adds up now! Thanks for pointing it out Thevshi!
  18. Initiative! Initiative: 1d20+2 14 lol Still my turn?
  19. Skaere could hear the horse galloping closer. Those large hooves were pounding into the dirt, flattening the ground beneath it's massive weight. They were getting close. She had to think fast. How to get them out of here. How? What could she do? Vince couldn't defend himself and she just wasn't fast enou- The though occurred to her in an instant. "Vince. I don't have time to explain but whatever happens, and it's gonna get weird, stay on my back ok? Just....just stay there? Promise?" Just them she heard the crunching of twigs nearby and Skaere flattened herself to the ground. She was down on all fours, mimicking the wolves with which she shares her nature. She could really only think to do one thing, she just hoped that it didn't freak Vince out too badly. Skaere closed her eyes, breathing deep. Great furred shoulders rising and falling as she willed herself to be as calm as possible. She had to let herself just feel. To feel the ground beneath her, to smell the dirt and grass and leaves that tickled her nose. She reached deep within herself, pulling at the primal nature of the wolf. It happened suddenly and made Skaere start. Her whole body shuddered and shivered, a great, high-pitched and moaning whine escaping her throat as her bones began to shift. She hadn't expected the pain. The way it coursed through her like a shock of lightning as the change overtook her. Her limbs shortened, her body lengthened and a fluffy tail sprouted from the base of her spine. By the end of it she was whimpering, their position long since given away. Her shape had changed from a hybrid to a wolf, large and bushy. As her head cleared, she just hoped that Vince was still with her and that she hadn't made a huge mistake.
  20. There is the Slow Fade feat and the Fades extra. They are different. I took slow fade off of Dazzle and added another range. As for Drain I still want the slow fade for living targets. Improved range two is rank times 50 so it's 450 I think. Made some more changes
  21. Polarity stayed crouched low. She turned, put her back against the tree and let herself attempt to just blend in with the background. She saw the rows of soldiers, heard their boots clanking rhythmically against the dirt. She didn't know how many of them there were just that she didn't like it. She stayed silent as the men drew closer to them. Her lips mimed the words 'What the he-' but kept her voice caught in her throat. She couldn't risk giving them away. She had no clue what would happen if these men found them, though something gave her the idea that it wouldn't be pretty. It might have been the... commander? The one that was riding around on a dinosaur. Ooooh she was jealous. She wanted to ride on a giant raptor. They were scary cool dinosaurs.... But she couldn't let herself linger on the thought. She needed to keep it together. Carefully Juno reached into her belt, pulling out her goggles and clipping them on. If this turned into a fight she would need to be ready.
  22. Skaere had been surprised when Set reached an arm over her and snapped a photo. It was so out of nowhere that she was pretty sure the whole thing turned out dumb. Though she looked down at the phone and showed Set smiling wide and Skaere looking just... well, intimidating. And awesome. That'll do. It left a small smile on her face, one that didn't clear until they were standing outside the warehouse. Her wolfy head gave a single nod at the approval of her companions. "Alrighty then." Soon enough the four of them had relocated to the entrance, Temperance blasting the lock with ice before the door was shoved open. The smells that hit her nose were almost overwhelming. "Oh... ok that's... a lot of wolf smell." Skaere held a clawed hand over her nose as if to block some of it. "I mean, I know I'm a werewolf but I really hope I don't smell like this." Her green eyes squinted as she stepped over the threshold, struggling the make out the exact shapes in the darkness. She could hear the beasts growling and the scent of wolf really was everywhere. As if it were all around them. "Anyone got a light? I don't like the smell of this and don't wanna stumble into something awful."
  23. Well, in a combination of things I wanna say yes. I wanna try out her wolfy abilities and this will be my first opportunity. AND I think that while the situation is stressful I believe she can focus enough to pull it off this go. Will it take her whole turn to transform?
  24. Alrighty. I added some more bits and baubles to her history and Complications. Added her connection to Starshot. Hope she's a little better flushed out! Yay sniper buddies!
