  1. Ohhhh. OK. Gotcha. Thanks Ari! I will keep that in mind!
  2. Tiny bit confused... the stun works? You just said normally you need a fort save but then said it would work so... Not sure what's happening XD
  3. Polarity >Braving the Lair >Some Things Should Never Be Found Skaere >Werewolves Are So Hot Right Now
  4. Boo. Bad roll. Initiative Initiative: 1d20+14 18 I was thinking that if she did anything she would zap down and try to use her 'stun' to maybe slow down the dragon or hopefully mess up its circuits or something like that. Not sure if something like that is allowed. If not then she will hit it with a blast from where she is hiding. The attack roll for either attack is the same so I'll just roll it. Yay! Good roll! Attack on the dragon Attack: 1d20+10 27
  5. Skaere just blinked, watching as water splashed over the unconscious boy, then the interaction between him and Set. Their exchange made something in her memory click. Set was that hero that went around posting on twitter and all that… She had heard of him. She’s wasn’t the type to really follow that sort of thing, but everyone had at least heard of him. Looked like she met herself a genuinely famous hero…. Though the term ‘hero’ was a little loosely applied here. He seemed more like a god or demi-god to her. So she wasn’t sure where in the spectrum of things Set and Sekhmet fell. When Set mentioned the ‘stunningly attractive ladies’ Skaere couldn’t help herself. She shifted closer, growling low in her throat as her already bright green eyes glow with a supernatural light. She bore her teeth a bit, letting some of her disapproval show through. She didn’t appreciate this kid going around attacking people and making her kind look like mindless killers.
  6. Polarity is gonna hop into the fight. Shall she roll initiative?
  7. Juno stared at the glowing crystals with a large smile. Her heart did a little leap at the proposition of maybe taking a small one home. Maybe she could get just a small piece. Wear it as a necklace souvenir from their adventure here. “That would be amazing Lord Zander.†She smiled at the man, excited. Then suddenly he shouted to the trees and the elevator was lowered to them. Soon enough all of the students were lifted up through the canopy and after squinting against the light she almost couldn’t believe what she saw. The village looked like something Elves might have built for themselves in a fantasy novel. Add some air conditioning and she could live in a place like this. The cluster of people who welcomed them made her feel good, welcome in their home. The huts were in a little cluster looks like a little cul-de-sac. “Too cute.†She smiled. She wasted no time picking out her hut, depositing her bag before setting out to explore the village in the trees. Everyone seemed to be off doing their own thing, so Juno did likewise. She followed the walkways down and around to where she saw some girls practicing some sort of dance. She wasn’t sure if she was allowed to join in, so instead she just sat on a branch nearby and watched, enjoying the warm breeze.
  8. The lights were out, but with her goggles it didn’t matter. She could see movement where Nevermore crashed in through the roof, so Polarity decided that might be her best course of action. Teleport in, scope out the danger and hopefully provided some very unexpected back up. She took a few deep breaths and in a flash she was inside, clinging to the wall that was closest to her, but now inside the hideout. The dragons seemed to busy with her recently arrived teammate and that was just fine with her. She looked around at the group of men, all too busy to notice her. There really didn’t seem to be anything to surprise them. No traps or things lurking. Her night vision goggles gave her a pretty clear view of everything and she was confident if there was something she would see it. Unsure of what her teammate’s status is, Polarity clings up the wall and into the rafters, quietly making her way closer to see the fight below and how she might get a drop on the cybernetic dragon.
  9. Well that was a crappy roll lol should have just taken 10 but I forgot I could do that with her. Notice: 1d20+11 13 She's scoping out the area to see if there are any surprises lurking.
  10. Forgive my horrid lateness. The plan is that Polarity teleports in like a fly on the wall, observing the fight between Nevermore and the Dragon. Sneaky ninja teleport style. Stealth Check: 1d20+10 20 Average roll. Provided that is good she will stealthily survey the situation and stay out of the fight until either she is found, Nevermore looks like he needs help or in the even of finding no other surprises she will just jump in to help him. Should I also roll a notice check for what she sees?
  11. Charlie followed the group along the next section of path. Her eyes scanning the trees around them and admiring the world. They were almost close enough to touch from their path. Her gaze turned upward when she noticed how dark it was getting. The sun was still shining, but the leaves and branches blocked it. You could seeing it trying to peak through the cracks of the canopy, but it was far too dense. Still, it looked beautiful. Like a ceiling made of some material that glowed from within. Like the rocks. casting that light around them that was at least enough to see by. "Oh wow. I don't know. Maybe? They are beautiful. Lord Zandar? Are there more of these rocks about? Could I possibly take one or two as a souvenir before we leave?"
  12. That was exactly why Skaere took precautions. Transforming shredded the clothing, leaving one vulnerable to the elements and completely naked when you had to change back. It's the reason she was so dead set and determined to get her hands on some morphic molecules clothing. It wasn't much. Little more than some small shorts and a tank top. But it was far better than having to change back on the fly and walking the street naked. The morphic molecules made the clothing fuse with her Werewolf anatomy, reverting to its original form when she returns to her own. "No pants here." She laughs, and it's mostly true. None she can get to at the moment and certainly none she would give the unconscious body. "Where would he get something like that? You think he made it? How?"
  13. Sorry for the delay guys. Family issues. My grandma is in hospice and just.... had a lot on my mind. In the same vein I dunno how it happened but I double posted and don't know how to delete my extra post.
  14. Skaere gave Temperance a nod. "Good to meet another face that doesn't run screaming." She laughed a bit, but there was an edge of bitterness detectable even under her animalistic tone. "I do not know much of other kinds of werewolves. But it is not the full moon. It is very possible for new wolves to give in on that night, but my kind are not naturally man hunters, more likely to stick to chasing rabbits and deer." Her ears twitched and turned toward Set and Sekhmet as the two steal her attention. She wasn't quiet sure what the two of them werr getting at, but some of it seemed to involve her. Perhaps she should best be careful around Sekhmet. She seemed distrusting and Skaere didn't want that to bite her in the back later. Still, that creature. Vibrant green eyes scanned over the unconscious werewolf. She took a few steps toward it and by proxy Set, crouching on thick muscled legs to see the belt like lump in its fur. "What should we do with it?" She asked, almost feeling bad for the thing as she looks down at its beaten form. Though her instincts knew better, it was dangerous and they couldn't let down their guard.
  15. If Skaere had eyebrows one would have been raised at the rather extravagant redhead and his companion. Their manner of speech was anything but typical and the man seemed to have the ego of, well, a god. Still, the woman and her irritability with him made Skaere's snout morph into what one would imagine it to look like if a wolf could smile. They felt like an old married couple somehow. Two people who had known each other so long that his behavior no longer so much as made her blink. Set. Sekhmet. Weren't those name from Egyptian mythology? She didn't really have time to dwell on it, she was too caught up in Set's changing appearance. Skaere had to be honest, she was a little jealous of the sweet feathers in that mohawk. "You can call me Skaere." With the animalistic tones of this form, her accent is very nearly untraceable. Only taking shape in the strange pronounciation of of that word. Sounding almost like 'scare' but with emphasis on and 'i' that doesn't exist. "You are correct. An alpha tried to recruit me. But I have no interest in living with a pack.... I live my own life." She watched Set change his appearance yet and again and with a slight shake of her head found her attention on Sekhmet. "I hope you don't think like he does. I am a werewolf, not a weredog. I have nothing against cats."
  16. I wouldn't mind the chance to reply but I won't have the time till later this evening.
  17. So Uhm.... On that notice check I rolled a 1 XD Notice: 1d20+11 12 Also she is going to teleport inside on her next move assuming that it's less than 500 ft away. Would you say it is? Not sure how to handle this since the others are in initiative and I am not. I was going to have her teleport in right after nevermore descended.
  18. Skaere snarled, giving a very wolfy nod when the lightening hit the creature and left it unconscious. It made her posture relax some and straighten. She took a deep breath, almost a pant and with a very canine head shake seemed to calm herself down. She took a few steps toward the unconscious creature and the woman holding it but is stopped short by the girl from the sky. "I may be a werewolf but I am no expert. This one is not like me. There isn't anything I can tell you. I'm just glad we stopped it from eating that man." She looked around and noticed that whoever he was, he took off. It's probably for the best. She didn't want any rocks thrown at her today. At least these people weren't judging her book by it's cover. Skaere contemplated taking off, finding her jacket and shoes and going home, but this is the first group of superheroes she's run into. She'd be a fool not to try and make allies or something.
  19. Better late than never. Knowledge: Tech: 1d20+7 21 She knows how to short the thing out. Blast Check: 1d20+10 26 ZAP ZAP GENERATOR!!!
  20. This place is already turning out to be much more dangerous than what she thought it would be. She had told her father it was a simple trip, nothing too dangerous or outlandish. Boy had she been wrong. Wars, Serpent people.... She really hoped they didn't get dragged into something like that, if for nothing else than the simple fact that she hates lying to her father. She couldn't tell him about any of it if it happened though. He'd probably die of a heart attack and she would really prefer that didn't happen. Still. This place was friggin awesome. Like this chasm. Juno stepped right up to the edge, peering over with a whistle that echoes off the rocks. "That's a loooooong way down." She would be afraid if she didn't have a perfect escape from falling. The swing looks fun, and her heart pounds as Lord Zander and her daughter make their way across but she would really rather not risk the vine breaking. "If anyone falls I should be able to catch them in time. Not sure though. Never really timed my teleports." She's fairly certain she could get herself out of a fall, but down to someone and back out before they both hit the water is something else entirely. After Gene makes it she let's out a little sigh of relief. "I'll zap across and wait. I'll have a better line of sight there just in case." It only took a few moments and if anyone had been too slow they would have looked toward the sound of her voice to find no source for it. With a shimmer of light she appeared next to lord Zander but steps back toward the edge of the chasm once again to wait at the ready, just in case. She supposes she could have taken someone with her but to be honest, she'd rather not teleport someone with her unless she has to. Not until she has a chance to properly practice it. ((Provided the chasm is less than 500ft across anyways. If it's longer I will have to edit my post.))
  21. Juno had given her nod of approval, taking a deep breath and trying to ready herself for the attack they were about to carry out. This would be her first raid. The first hideout she would ever force her way into. This wasn't like the bank. This was the bad guys' home turf. They needed to be careful. She watched nevermore descend to the other rooftop and Solvrytter make his way to the alley. Her trip to the generator was much quicker, aided by her teleportation it only took moments for the teen to reach the generator. Nothing fancy. Just a simple safety mechanism she can easily get around. This thing is little more than a big engine pumping power to the other building. She stood there, hands at the ready, watching down over her shoulder to watch Solvrytter step up to the door. It only took one good 'CRACK' for it to cave in a rain of splinters and that's her cue. Blue streaks of electricity arch between her fingers and then from her hands to the generator. The concentrated blast of energy overloads the machine and fries the wires. The loud rumble of the engine slowing with a loud creak as a few of the lights inside explode from the sudden surge and the entire building goes dark. With a smirk she turned toward the building, flicking on the Dark-vision of her goggles. "Showtime."
  22. For a moment, just a moment, Skaere had thought the wolf might stop but… it didn’t. In fact, it came in fast and hard. Her guard wasn’t as well placed as it should have been and her moment of hesitation was all the creature needed. She let out a loud yelp as it’s claws tore through her skin and muscle, striking all the way to the bone. She took a step back. But in that next moment, instead stumbling back in a daze, Skaere’s eyes started to glow green. A low growl rumbled in her throat as the muscles in her chest already began to mend back together. She hardly spares Set a glance, her glare focused on the creature that wounded her. “Hold that thought.†The changes the transformation made to her vocal chords gave her voice a primal growl beneath it. Almost like two tones speaking at once, one human and one animal. It only took a moment for her to sprint forward, the strong muscles of her legs propelling her toward the creature with a clawed hand stretched toward it. She makes a swipe as she passes, her claws digging in deep, tearing through its flesh as if it were paper and making the creature roll with the force of the blow.
  23. Polarity’s face scrunched a bit. She had him there. She really shouldn’t be doubting things like that anymore. Not when she herself could be considered beyond belief. Seriously, a gymnast whose grandmother gave her superpowers while curing a supposedly incurable illness? Sounds like a comic book to her. “Yeah I guess you’re right.†She sighs, looking away from him in defeat, using a shift in weight and reaching to scratch her shoulder to not so hopefully disguise it. She didn't even look back to them, instead her gaze roamed to find the generator Nevermore speaks of. “Yeah I see it…. Overloading the generator should be a piece of cake. Hopefully power surge will fry everything. With any luck we might knock out a few of those tazer-bats if they are plugged in to charge. I didn’t see a charging port but that doesn’t mean they don’t charge separate. Anyway, sounds like a solid plan.†She pointed to her tinted goggles. “These babies have infra and night vision so the dark won’t be any problem.†It was right around that time that Solvrytter ‘sheathed’ his sword and the motion definitely caught her attention The entire thing disappeared into what almost looked like a small tear in space. “OK, it is really cool how you do that.†She watched the new weapon appear, smirking at the way the teen just slings it over his shoulder. She didn't really have any gear to be all flashy like that with. “Also that thing doesn’t work LIKE a battering ram, it IS a battering ram. I definitely wouldn’t wanna get hit with that. Ouch.â€
  24. I think I am going to have Skaere shake off that Dazed condition by burning an HP. That hit has her pretty ticked and she wants a piece of the jerk. She also needs to make a recovery check for her injuries yes? Her regeneration for bruised is once per round without rest. Recovery check: 1d20+7 23 That should be a pass correct? Also she is going to use a move-by action to essentially clothes-line the werewolf. Attack: 1d20+7 20 Not quiet sure how it works but she has Drain toughness 7 linked to her melee attacks.
