  1. Makes sense. Does quick draw 2 give her enough to stow her bow and pull her knife? (More of a small sword really) Because she IS equipped for melee combat, she just isn't as good at it. Melee Attack on Antibody: 1d20+8 13 Crap. That's a miss right? Can I spend an HP to try again?
  2. Ok so she's in a weird spot. Isn't there a no kill rule on the site?
  3. So even if I want her to shoot an arrow I need to do it as a melee attack?
  4. Ok. I am having trouble finding the rules on this but... what happens if Sei tries to use her bow in with enemies in melee?
  5. Thanks for understanding. Spent all day doing cookies and stuffing a turkey and blah blah blah. My brain is fried.
  6. Hey guys. I think its my go but with Christmas things are crazy. I might not get to reply till tomorrow or the day after.
  7. Seikahi'ino:Fort vs Stun: 1d20+9 27 *punches the moon*
  8. "So you kill other's to delay your own inevitable death?" Her grip on the Hunter tightened. She could kill him, could choke the life from him, But she didn't. If she did that, Skaere would be no better than he. Though she knew of no way to stop him. Not permanently. "I SHOULD DO THE SAME TO YOU! STOP YOU FROM KILLING ANYONE ELSE!"
  9. talking is just a free action right? That's all she's doing for the moment.
  10. Sei had sat there, unaware of the ships arrival as she helped Ana. Her explanation of the task hitting home and making it easy for the hunter to help out. Using the knife to cut through the outer layer as if it were the hide of an animal, she was making quick work of the box. Leaving the exposed parts in a small pile as she hummed a melody her mother sang to her as a child. She forgot all about the chaos they were running from. At least until the ships began puncturing the hull. The entire vessel tilted and groaned with the force, making it clear to everyone that they had finally been caught. Sei's easy going expression hardened in an instant, the reptilian huntress rising her to feet. "Ana should work quickly." The components were forgotten on the ground as she turned toward the door, bow in hand. She could see them already. Strange, silver skinned abominations. They reminded her of some mutation of a child's doll. Or even.... Sei shook the thought away. The similarities had to be coincidence. The tales of what happened to her species home were just that. Stories. Embellished with silver skinned monsters that came out of stars that fell through the air... Golden eyes narrowed, the archer reaching back over her shoulder. Left side of the quiver, closest to her shoulder, small ridge of the end of the arrow, that's the one. She drew the arrow in one swift motion, bringing her bow up, seating the arrow and knocking it in an action that seemed less practiced and more second nature. She went down on one knee, making her body lower, steadier, more predatory. Her back was straight, her shoulders squared, body sideways to her target, left arm completely straight, the arrow draw back to her chin. On an inhale she tightened her shoulders, locking in her posture. Her gazed fixed on her target, the creature in the lead, and for a split second their gazes met. She was a breath away from loosing the arrow but it didn't feel right. Something would have gone wrong. She holds for just another heartbeat, waiting for the perfect moment and then- Sei let the arrow loose. Her bow sprang back and sent the arrow true to it's target. The hollowed shaft of the arrow splintered upon impact, exploding with a compressed force that sends tendrils of thick, translucent yellow gel out like some bizarre party favor. The tendrils hardened and immobilized the antibody, anchoring it to the spot as Sei made a satisfied noise her throat, smirking.
  11. Yes I will! I wanna hit this thing dang it!!! *fingers crossed* Gelly Arrow Attack Reroll: 1d20+10 13 *faceplant* really? Do I add ten like the book says or do houserules say something different about that?
  12. Ok. Since there are so many, she is going to do what she can to even the odds. Gelly Arrow: AKA Arrow filled with a vial of hardening gelly to snare opponents in place. Gonna try and slow down their advance since she's in a room of not so combat oriented folks. (Range increment: 450 ft Extras: Regenerating (either you get it all off or you're still stuck)) Target: The closest unfortunate antibody. Gelly Arrow Attack: 1d20+10 15 Or maybe a little more fortunate than I thought XD
  13. Right. Gotcha. My apologies. Notice: 1d20+13 21 Survival: 1d20+9 21
  14. Lol gotcha. You mention that there are things heading her way. Not sure how close to her they are or anything like that. Can you clarify a little? Are they in the engine room already?
  15. "Aye. Yes. Both need to be at our best." Sei gave one curt nod. "Flying creatures make a rewarding hunt." Usually their meat was tender and good. Some species were also good for trade. Some places will pay good money for the right kinds of feathers. Something she has learned in her time amongst the stars. "Though Sei does not believe that is our quarry here." The cramped space of the craft was tolerable for a time, but her back was starting to protest. She needed to stand, stretch her back. She can't shoot properly if she's all knots. "Need to find tracks. Only so much can be done from the air."
  16. Alrighty! Aid Check (with Survival): 1d20+9 13 Awww crap. Bad roll. Does she help at all or just make it worse? XD
  17. She doesn't have that skill... is it just a straight intelligence roll then?
  18. Sei hadn't set idle for long when Ana called to her. Her question made her laugh, the Seikahi'ino moving from her spot on the crate, pulling the knife (or rather, small sword) from it's place on her hip. "Sei is familiar with a blade." She crouched down to take a close look at what Ana was doing with the wire. Noting how she was careful with the blade to not cut too deeply and ruin the components inside. Her knife was returned to her side, far too big to reliably do such a delicate task. Sei reached out and took the coupler and the knife from Ana, folding her legs beneath her to sit on the floor. "Sei can do this. No problem Ana." She smiled wide before looking down at the task before her. Her thin mouth pressed in a tight line as she began cutting through the insulation. "Like this yes?" Happy to finally have something useful to do, she began humming to herself contently.
  19. Sei nodded at the speaker as if Eject could see her. "Yes. Sei is the tall one with scales." She kept nodding as Eject spoke, smiling a bit at the speaker. "Ana can do it... Uhh... Sei out." She straightens up from her hunched over position with a smile on her face, looking over to where Ana and the crew are diligently working to the fix the ship. "Captain Lady says people are counting on Ana. Keep Captain updated." She has to step quickly out of the way as two crew members rush by her. Knowing that they were in good hands, Sei decides it might be best to stay out of the way. "Sei will be here. Let Sei know if Ana need anything big moved... or something." She said and sat herself down on a crate, tapping her bow against the ground as she waits.
  20. So sorry. My laptop charger decided that my battery didn't need power anymore so my internet access (besides by phone) was very limited to when people would let me use their computer. Finally got a new charger, boot up the laptop, go to freedom city and realized that the seventh came and left without me having access to the computer to put up my posts. Polarity None Seika >Incursion: Blood in the Water >Pest Control Skaere >Hunting Grounds >Werewolves Are So Hot Right Now
  21. Sei looked less than excited about their ride. Sure she fit. Barely. Every time the craft took to sharp a turn she thought she was going to tumble right out of it. She did her best to keep tucked as small as possible, long arms wrapped about her legs and pulling them close. her bow had to be stashed where her feet should have been. The view did help. Her natural sight allowing her to see even more of the jungle world than any of those around her. At one point she even spotted a large birdlike creature through the canopy, tending to it's nest. It helped bring a smile to her face, made the ride more enjoyable. "Yes. Beautiful." She smiled, revealing sharp teeth. When the clear canopy extended over them, Sei groaned. She let one foot slide down off the seat, turning her other leg a little sideways so she could hunch herself down. "Lor need to make things bigger." She huffed.
  22. Skaere snarled, growling around the flesh in her maw. The Hunter's words hit home, but not with the animal. It was Charlie that his words reached. The wolf released her grip on his shoulder, only to bring her paws to his throat. In that same moment she began to shift, her shoulder's broadened, her bones grew and shrank and repositioned themselves. The paw on his neck turned to a hand, one tipped in claws that pricked his skin as it gripped his throat. her other hand gripped tightly to his shirt and moments later the werewolf was hunched over his prone form. The first sound she let out was not words, but a rageful snarl. One that echoed amongst the trees and rattled what remained of the wild life. "That is what you want isn't it? To be killed by your quarry. To find a beast so great that not even you can best and go down in your blaze of glory?" She practically spat in his face as she spoke, features contorted in anger as blood dripped down her chin and stained her teeth red.
  23. Skaere didn't know quiet what she expected the hell hound to do. Though the twitching and smoke and heartbreaking howl was not high on her list. It left her feeling an emptiness in her own heart, wolf like brow furrowing as she crouched low. She watched Sekhmet approach the animal, sitting herself down near it with her feline grace. She decided to follow suit. She moved on all fours, her more human proportions making her posture hunched and but no less animal. She kept herself the same distance from the wolf as Sekhmet, not taking her eyes off the animal. "Burn it down." She said, voice soft but firm. She was crouched low and cocked her head to the side. Green eyes studied the wolf carefully and she made a slight whining noise in her throat "What will happen to him? Will they kill him?" The howl still rang in her ears, she couldn't bare it. Maybe she could save him somehow. Take him with her. Take all of them. Start her own little pack.
