  1. Ok so how far from us is the core? Seika can't fly or anything so I am trying to figure out what she can shoot at. Not sure if it would work but thinking maybe drain toughness (acid arrow) on the core if its close enough
  2. Ugh. I don't know why I am not getting alerts on these. I am not holding it up on purpose I swear. I am so sorry. I will post tomorrow as soon as I get home from work!
  3. Once Skaere realized that the police had arrived, she slowed her run to a normal walk. Standing as normally as she could, she hoped a more human posture would help the police feel less uncomfortable around her. Sure, the indeed guy didn't get a lot of looks but the werewolf did. Must be the ears. "There is one knocked out in the alley. He might have a concussion. " She spoke politely to the officers, giving the wary men a Wolfy bod before continuing back toward the car. She let the others talk to the police and instead decided to sniff around, literally. Her nose wasn't pressed to the ground or anything, but she was definitely checking for anything out of the ordinary.
  4. What's the roll for Skaere to see if she smells anything interesting on/in the car? (She has scent)
  5. "Hey! Where are you going?" Skaere started laughing, her green eyes glowing brightly when her prey did not just give up. Though she wouldn't call it much of a chase. It took only moments for the werewolf to cover the space between them, taking a moment to give the poor guy the chance to be afraid. "Sorry dude. This is going to hurt." A few quick steps ahead and the werewolf swiveled around, bringing the back of her hand back to practically slap the poor guy unconscious. Better a bruised face than a broken arm she supposed. Skaere didn't miss a step though, she doubled back toward the car to see if any others still needed to be chased down.
  6. Sweet. Since she is already in motion for the chase I am going to say she keeps going with move by action, doubling back toward the car.
  7. Skaere is going to give chase and take 10 to hit. Toughness save for the goon.
  8. Seika would have sworn her heart stopped when the world around her vanished. She had been drawing another arrow, head swiveling to see if there were any more antibodies, when suddenly the world around her dropped out. The clicks and chirps that emanated from her in that moment were more of a curse. Her reptilian eyes fought to focus within the void, not having anything solid to latch onto. The sense of vertigo was strong, disorienting. Her enhanced vision swam in the swirl of colors that the other might not see, it was almost overwhelming. She fought back panic until the whispers finally grounded her. She just closed her eyes, listening to the myriad of voices, focused on the feeling of the bow in her hand. Then suddenly she felt as if solid ground had just appeared beneath her feet. A long hard breath was pushed from her longs and Seika's eyes blinked open. She felt out of her element. In far too deep. She just had a bow and a bundle of arrows! How was she supposed to keep up with teleporting and alternate dimensions? "Ohhhh this is not what Seika thought." She took a few hesitant steps toward the others, eyes focused down into the nothingness that she seemed to be standing on.
  9. Too bad for her, a second Antibody rushed past the first, coming right at Seika. The archer didn’t have time to react, only her scales and suit protecting her enough that she only felt a tingle from the electric charge that sparked from the monster’s claws. She really didn’t like these things. Seika managed to put enough distance between her and the antibody. An arrow drawn from her quiver is knocked a moment later. Sometimes she really hated fighting in ships. Not enough room for her to properly maneuver. Still, her bow was her best option. She loosed the arrow, hoping it struck true.
  10. OK. Was just making sure. Bow Attack: 1d20+10 13
  11. Oooh! That is a great idea! Yes, I wanna be able to use it just as a thwacking device as well. I dont wanna cut up your average mook. XD I'll have to look up Variable. Never used it before and not sure how it works
  12. Ok, so I'm thinking about giving my character a device. A weapon. Sort of a family heirloom that she took with her. The idea is that it's a Sword Cane. The blade it's self is enchanted and silver to do more damage to supernatural and demonic creatures. In cane form it is also formidable because of the enchantments, but allows her not to kerstab every baddy she runs across. Can you put Alt forms on a Device?
  13. Can we take 10 to hit these things?
  14. That is kind of what I was thinking. I posed a query in chat and Ecal suggested I put it up here. When I build the character I'm thinking I will go broad rather than tall. Maybe make the bat form more of a travel form. Probably gonna fight in a way that she doesn't stay in one place very long. Short distance teleporting (turns to bats to quickly moving through the battle field, attacking perhaps in her human form and using turnabout to get back out of the way again.
  15. I was contemplating a character that can pull off something akin to the bat swarm fighting that Drac did in Dracula Untold. (I hardly use Polarity because I'm not fond of her and looking at her sheet I feel I can do better) What I figure I might be able to pull off is a toned down mix of Dracula from that movie and Alucard's bat shape-shifting in Hellsing. So basic concept is a character that can discorporate into a particle/energy/pseudo bat swarm form. Her matter breaks down (magically) into a sort of particle/energy form that manifests in the shape of a small swarm of bats. For this I am looking at Insubstantial because of how it interacts with the physical form. Not sure on it though and trying to see if I can figure out other ways to model it but hitting a wall as to if I can get it to work. Information from the book: Insubstantial You can assume a less solid form, with each Insubstantial rank becoming progressively less solid. You do not gain the ability to assume lowerranked Insubstantial forms, but you can acquire a lower-ranked form as an Alternate Power feat of a higher-ranked one (see page 108). You can switch between normal and an Insubstantial form at will as a free action once per round. Rank 1: You become fluid. You can flow or squeeze through any sort of opening, under (or around) doors, through keyholes and pipes, and so forth. You cannot pass through watertight seals. You can automatically flow out of any restraint—such as a snare or grapple—that is not watertight (you automatically succeed on Escape Artist checks). You cannot flow out of a bubble completely enclosing you, for example, but anything less cannot hold you. You can exert your normal Strength and can still carry objects, although your manual dexterity may be limited (at the GM’s discretion). Rank 2: You become a cloud of gas or fine particles. You have no Strength in gaseous form, but you are immune to physical damage. Energy attacks still affect you normally, as do area effects (see page 159). You can flow through any opening that is not airtight. Rank 3: You become coherent energy. You have no Strength, but you are immune to physical damage. Energy attacks (other than the energy making up your form) damage you normally. You can pass through solid objects, but energy resistant barriers, like heavy shielding or force fields, block your movement. Rank 4: You become incorporeal. You can pass through solid matter at your normal speed and you are unaffected by physical and energy attacks. Mental and sensory effects still work on you, as do powers with the Affects Insubstantial power feat. Choose one other reasonably common effect that works on you while you are incorporeal. You have no Strength and cannot affect the physical world unless you purchase the Affects Corporeal modifier on one or more of your abilities or powers. Your mental and sensory effects still work normally. Of them I feel that 1 rank or 2 ranks are the closest. However, the bats wouldn't be able to squeeze through cracks around a door or further discorporate small enough to flow like air. It would be nice to keep a strength score but the idea of not being able to shoot the bats or hit them with a physical weapon makes sense to me (maybe the energy automatically reofrms as bats if interrupted with a regular attack). I was contemplating if it would be worth a flaw to make it so that she couldn't flow through cracks or airtight spaces. Or even if it would work best to go with Incorporeal 3. Take away passing through solid objects and downgrade that to being able to go through small spaces? I have other ideas and thoughts swirling on the build but it all kinda depends on how I end up using the bats. If it's more of an alternate form or if the energy/particle bats are just how her power manifests. I am also looking at maybe just having her use a short range teleport and maybe a conceal or something and having the bats be less of an alternate form. Though maybe she can have an actual bat swarm form that allows her to fly or something. Any thoughts, suggestions?
  16. Fort Save: 1d20+9 26 NOT HAPPENING SUCKA! Can Seika maneuver enough to use her bow?
  17. Skaere's face contorted. An expression that would have been a raised eyebrow crossed her features, though on her currently wolf like face it looked.... warped. Still, the huff of a laugh that puffed out her cheeks was unmistakable. As was the way her ears perked as she looked at Phantasmo. This one was interesting. Skaere looked left and looked right, smiling a toothy grin as the men took off. "It's always so much more fun when they run." Picking the front passenger as her prey, she dislodged her claws from car. It was easy enough for her to make chase, catching up with him in a few short moments. She didn’t halt her momentum, in fact, she used it to power to strike, lashing out at the man. Only he retained enough of his wits to look back at just the right moment, he managed to duck, stumbling in the process. It made her strike go too high, made her arm swing through the open air and pulled a deep growl from her throat. She took a few more steps and pivoted on the spot, turning back toward him as those eyes glowed with a piercing almost neon green in the dull light of the street lamps. There was distance between them, but Skaere had her sights on her prey and it was his move.
  18. Is it because he is a minion? I never really understood that rule XD
  19. Ok, Skaere is gonna go after the front side passenger. Move by action to attack him and continue after the guy that was in the back seat behind him. Attack: 1d20+7 9 That misses doesn't it?
  20. Ok so apparently I'm not getting alerts even though I supposed too DX

  22. Skaere’s evening hadn’t been all that exciting. So far it was just a couple of thugs that needed to learn a lesson in manners…. and how not to mess with an almost 7 foot tall Werewolf. She’d lost track of how many idiots had come after her with a knife since she started her nightly routine. It boggled her mind. Were they blind? Did they not see her ten very sharp claws? What was their little pocket knife going to do against her? She was pondering the latest batch of idiocy when sound of sirens perked her hears. In an instant she was on her feet, jumping across rooftops until she could look over the edge to see the street below. She saw the car and it’s reckless path, no regard for whomever got in it's way. Maybe it was time for some good old fashioned chicken? The werewolf leapt from the rooftop and landed solidly in the street. Her snarled jaw aimed at the car as she let out a guttural growl. It seemed the werewolf wasn't the only one intent on stopping the car but Skaere was set on her task and moving now would be a missed opportunity. So she braced herself, counting on her advanced healing to help with any damage she might take. The impact of the car jolted her back, her muscles straining beneath blonde and white fur as her claws dug into the front bumper of the car. Crunching metal and snarles melted together and at the end Skaere's glowing green eyes stared manacingly over the hood of the car. "Try and run through me and I'll tear through this car like it was made of paper." The dual, animalistic tone in her voice made Skaere sound feral and added weight to her warning.
  23. Ah crap . Sorry lazer! I was hoping lighting would pass his save! Toughness Save: 1d20+7 19 Skaere Tanks it like a champ!
