2. Oh telepathy, someone should remember that they have that! Would my emotional power also pick up mostly the same thing?
3. Starlight Something was wrong, well everything was wrong what with all these Omegadrone flying around, but things felt off. Maybe it was all the power she was challenging, and apparently, more fighting was coming. Normally she'd wait until they attack, but a freakin' invasion most definitely counted as the worse kind of attack you could get. So charing up her powers again, causing her to glow like a mini star, as she fired off a burst of light energy towards the leading drone. They looked tougher, but her attack seemed to cause some damage, hopefully it would be enough for now.
4. GM The Dreamer lets out an amused huff at being referred to as a damsel in distress, but does not disagree with the statement. "Perhaps I should dream a suit of armour and lance for my chivalrous protector. Sir Daye has a nice sound to it." Her smile fades a little at the reminder that they might still be pursued, and she follows him quickly. It does not take Blackstaff long to orient himself, being accustomed to the streets of the city. The small room had let out several streets over from where their flight had led them, and it takes nearly ten minutes to reach the car, but the pair are unaccosted during their travel, although many pairs of eyes follow them, many seeming to recognize the 'Christmas Spirit'. Upon arriving at his vehicle, Blackstaff would notice an oddity, his dashboard claiming the time to be nearly two hours earlier than when they had been confronted.
5. Yesterday
6. Timeout Lawrence gave a small smile as Daniel's distraction caused his character to die in the game he was playing. The blond teen then focused back on Iris and Michael. "Yeah, been doing fine, just had a lot on my mind." He responded. "I am doing okay." Lynn responded to Iris, though her expression did not really make it seem she was okay. Unlike Lawrence, Lynn's accent was fully American, with perhaps even a trace of a Jersey accent. At Michael's question about her relation to Lawrence, the blonde girl momentarily froze, a dark expression crossing her face. "Or something probably covers it." Lawerence replied as he gave Lynn a concerned look. Thankfully Sam interjected, taking Lynn’s attention for a moment before she looked back to Michael. "Nice to meet you Michael, Iris." The blonde girl stated as she shook Michael's hand. She then somewhat reluctantly moved over to Sam at the Street Fighter game. "No, not really." The younger girl replied to the question about whether or not she played the game. Lawrence watched her a moment before looking back to Michael and Iris. "It is a bit complicated, but she is, more or less, my half-sister, from another timeline." He stated in a low voice that was not likely to travel far over the noise of the arcade. Over at the Street Fighter game, Lynn gave a resigned sigh and listened as Sam explained and showed her the controls for the game. It was quickly apparent that the blonde girl had very good hand-eye coordination, and incredibly fast reflexes.
7. "You got it, Bolt." he said, taking a handful of the grenades and being careful in dealing with the board. He definitely needed that since he was still helping Parker, and he was just about out himself, so a chance to 'rest' by just hurling grenades from a hoverboard would be okay. Provided he could manage to stay on the thing. "I'll try to bring it back in one piece. As soon as something shows up spooky, I'll head over right at it. And when you need my help, I'll be right back, don't worry." he nodded firmly. So he was ready if something bad showed up.
8. I will instead delay until the next GM post so I'm prepared with the hoverboard and grenades!
9. (Golden Star Post) Almost a kiss. They had gotten so close, and then his book came alive and spewed out a...cartoony Mike Fink. He had no idea what was going on anymore. But he wanted to echo Carmen's own frustrations. "You gotta be kidding me..." he said, keeping a hand on Carmen's hip as he watched the fairy tale heroes appear with loud, annoying antics, then flee into the city. He truly had no idea what was going on, and he just had to stare in confusion and befuddlement as they fled. "What...is...happening." he finally managed to say once all the creatures had dispersed into the city and he finally realized what had just happened while he was staring. Then when the librarian screamed and ran down the stairs, then tripped and fell, he looked at her, then at Carmen. "...I get the feeling we're about to have some homework to do, Carmen." he mumbled to her, before moving towards the collapsed woman. "Are...are you okay?" He asked, walking towards her with another glance at Carmen.
10. (GM Post) "That's right! Fightin' Mike Fink!" the little bushy bearded man said, cracking his knuckles. "I'm the snapping turtle! Six Foot Three oarsman, and I can out-run, out-hop, out-jump, throw-down, drag-out and lick any man in the country, and that includes you, you little rapscallion." He said, suddenly raising his dukes at Carmen and Michael. Then he grinned. "Alright, we're out of here gang!" he called to the other tiny creatures, and a palmtop John Henry, Mike Fink, and a slightly bigger Paul Bunyan- plus his Babe the Big Blue Ox- quickly fled down the stairs causing havoc, smashing cars and knocking over fire hydrants. They may have been very tiny, but they were clearly pretty strong, maybe as strong as the Claremont students themselves, as they caused havoc. Meanwhile, a librarian looking young woman ran out of the library itself, her dark hair bobbing in a ponytail as she dashed down the stairs holding a strange looking book. She was chasing what appeared to be a cartoon William Tell, who was shooting arrows seemingly at random. "Come baaaaack! Wait! I didn't want this to happen!" The nerd looking girl yelled as she tripped and fell down the stairs with a thud, sending the book flying. But the four cartoony book characters had fled into the city proper
11. can I throw one at the Time Twister even though it'll bounce off his shield?
12. Problem is, at the moment there are no real big groups of Communion drones, there are scatted ones here and there, but Lawrence cured the majority of them.
13. It's a general area, here's the power: Stun 8 (Nervebuzzer; Extras: Area [Burst]; Feats: Ricochet, Thrown 1, Triggered 2; Flaws: Unreliable [5 Uses]; Drawbacks: Full Power)
14. Sure, let's do that. so that's a Stun 8? So should I just go ahead and make a ranged attack roll to chuck them around? Presumably flying towards a big group of them and tossing
15. Poncho

Digital Hex

As Michael twisted in the air, still unable to break the tower down, his frustration was getting even higher, until his aura was bright red with frustration. When General Sparks came down towards him, he glanced up and swiftly moved to the side, sending the General plummeting downwards. But he didn't let him go. He grabbed the General by the back of the cape and held him, gripping him with both hands. Then he started to spin, twisting in mid air around and around like a giant, boiling top, General Sparks turning into a smear of purple around the top as they spun. "I WANT YOU! AND YOUR TOWER! TO FALL DOWN!" Michael finally yelled as he released the General, hurling him with tremendous force directly into the weak spot in the tower!
16. Okay, while waiting for Tiff's IC post, Multi-Girl will area attack Martinet and the three elite drones on the ground. 13, rolling terrible today. Will use a HP for a reroll: 25, much better. That hits them all for a DC 27 toughness save. Martinet: 25 she picks up another bruise. The Elite Omegadrones: 22, 25 and 24, so one bruised and dazed, the other two just bruised.
17. Michael was sad to hear Bernie couldn't come, but he expected it. He was really impressed with how ready she was for the next stage of her life. She had been a big help to adjusting him to Claremont itself, and he was never going to forget that, but he also knew it was very likely their paths wouldn't cross that much in the future; she had her own team, she had her own goals and job, and he was still finishing his education. They might meet from time to time, but they'd not be fellow students anymore. So he was very supportive and very positive for everything Bernie did, and he bought her music and wore her shirts when he could. He'd always be a fan, and he'd always enjoy their friendship and the time they stopped the Maestro, but he knew there was only so much time in one's life. So he was happy with what he had with his friendship with her and Charlie. "HAHA! GOT YOU DANIEL!" Sam said, slapping the cabinet in victory and pumping her fist. "Whose next!?" she barked, cheerful and bold at her continuing dominance over her little slice of the arcade. For a girl who often seemed outcast and alone at Claremont, this was one of the places where she seemed to be spreading her figurative wings cheerfully. Meanwhile Michael was smiling at Lawrence and his new friend. He had his same cheerful disposition. Lawrence might have been away for a bit, but Michael considered him his friend. While he hadn't been spending time in the Doom Room, he had been putting in his own effort; Michael had been pushing his own limits every day, harder and harder, and he was starting to actually not be- to his mind- a drag on his friends when trying to save the city. He looked between Lynn and Lawrence and nodded. "It's nice to see you Lawrence. I'm glad you're doing okay." he said directly to him, as if Lawrence hadn't been missing at all. He wasn't going to make it weird or awkward, he was just going to be the supportive friend, the same thing he'd promised to be on that beach several months ago. "And, Lynn? It's nice to meet you. Are you his cousin or something? I'm Michael Adon, one of Lawrence's classmates. That's Sam, she's also one of our students." Michael extended his hand to shake it, and at the same time, Sam herself turned to wave. "Yo, newbie! You play Street Fighter!? Let's go some rounds! If you don't know I'll teach you."
18. Okay, Timeout will try to hit them with his Stun effect. 8 boo, terrible roll, will HP for a reroll: 20 (after adding +10 to the natural 4). If that hits, a DC 20 Fort save vs Stun.
19. GM As Dwayne started helping the people off the carriage, the metal man's head (and face) once again appeared out of the monorail itself. More specifically, the shorn end of it. "Boo! Spoilsport! Wheres the fun in this? Helping people. BORING!" The face pondered for a moment, chewing its metal lip whilst deciding what to do. "I'm going to play on the other side of the circle. You just stay here and rescue people. Dont go spoiling it again... BORING!" The face sang a song. "BORING BORING BORING.... BO-RING!" With his little ditty complete, the metal man (although it was only about 3 feet tall) started running down the monorail track. With great agility, one might say - dancing along the track as if his feet were magnetic. Which, Dwayne could guess, they probably were...
20. GM "They call me Mr. Diamond," said Diamondlight, nodding his head at the bird-alien. He was barely breaking even on the board. But then, that was the plan. Admist the reasonable play, he threw in a few spectacular blunders - to keep the AI on its toes. More randomness meant the AI would be slower at developing an algorithm. Diamondlight was under no illusion. He could play poker with the best in the world, maybe even the galaxy. But an AI was a precise tool that could perfectly calculate the odds, the psychology of the opponents, and would never get tilted. The AI would beat him - it was just a matter of when. But there was more to this than met the eye; why would anyone want an AI machine beating an organic brain? It was hardly good television. "Its called Poker," said Daimondlight. "A bit of chance, a bit of skill. Easy to play, hard to master," he explained. "You will certainly find some glee, but also some frustration. Still, live fast, easy come, easy go..." He looked past the alien, scanning the casino. "We, the players, are playing..." he said to the bird alien. "But I get the feeling we are being played, too. What do you think?"
21. Thats a big old hit 23 for Sparks Grapple, which is just enough to sling him and throw him. Given its DC 10 to break the tower and your STR bonus is 8.. ill move along and roll your STR Can it stay up?: 1d20+8 15 15! TIMBER! Also Sparks has a tough save to make Im going to give it +2 damage because of all the falling masonry 17 Its a DC 25 Tough Save so he is bruised and dazed. Crash bang wallop! And back to the Dormatory room!
22. sure, you can skim her surface thoughts. The major thing she's getting is anxiety. She's really hoping that the Uearth delegation will start producing some ratings; really all of the groups, but you're talking to the Uearth Tun. She's not planning to betray you or anything as far as you can tell, she's more concerned about getting her ratings than anything, it's a constant, gnawing fear.
23. (GM Post) "Excellent! How about you take an interviewer or respondent position?" Tun asked, clapping her hands out of synch again. "That way you don't have to fight and you can tell your stories for these fighters. And maybe we can hook you up so you can give them strategy and stuff? If you don't want to fight at least." she smiled. "I can respect that; it can be hard to find exactly where you fit in in entertainment. But if you wanna be a star, Tun will make you a star!" the AI said with firm belief. The AI presented her with a microphone and one of the camera drones suddenly, smiling her far too wide smile the whole time. "Why don't you take the first chance; with our Shooting Star lady here, and Mr. Pan of course!" She pointed. "Why don't you give them a bit of an interview. Ask her a question or two, something that could make people feel for her. Put in some of your own stories, and we'll have a real place to go. You know, I'll lead you in with 'here's our latest correspondent, interviewing two of Uearth's competitors before they begin their fighting in the arena!', and then you take the reigns from there." she said excitedly. Meanwhile, with Diamondlight, the Cameras and the learning AI were slowing down. Now that he wasn't playing as well, they weren't learning as fast, which meant other players were also winning more; Diamondlight really was the pace setter here, it seemed. The person that Diamondlight was talking to was a large, humanoid avian alien; bird talons, bird beak, bird like face, but on a human like skeleton with two wings, in blue and black feathers and a nasty looking scar on it's chest. The bird chirped a little. "The Titans Three go where we please, To find what's fun and have some glee." it threw down some chips. "I don't know much about this specific card game, but why don't you tell me your name?"
24. The Galloping Ghost stalled out as the metal man disappeared. He didn't really have any way to track it, and if the creature was evil, and was going to continue to harass the area, he'd likely be able to try and track it down then; if the creature was as much of a troublemaker as it seemed to be, he probably wouldn't be waiting around too long. "...Dang. Okay then." He mumbled, turning around to head back to the monorail. If the creature was gone for now, that meant he was ready to get back to his actual job. The Galloping Ghost made his way back to the monorail car, preparing to use his Ghostly powers to assist anyone who needed help getting down. "Alright, let's try and evacuate this poor monorail before anything worse happens." He said, his horse-man face contorting into a frown as he made his way back to the monorail.
25. Gonna try and grab him. Doing an All-Out attack to reduce my Defense by 2 to increase my Attack by 2 for this. Attack Roll Results 1d20+9: 22 [1d20=13] Grapple Roll Results 1d20+26: 29 [1d20=3]
