  2. OOC for this thread Let's pray I do this correctly @Kaede Kimura @Supercape @Poncho
  3. GM It was just that time of the week in Claremont Academy. A routine check in with some of the students. The faculty has decided to test a few of the younger heroes. As such Baz, Vueriz and Michael would be called and led to the basements under the Academy, to the Doom Room. A large facility with a hexagonal floor, white and grey walls and a high ceiling. Above them was the observation room. A figure could be seen from within, the supervisor for today’s session. “Greetings students.” The man spoke up through the intercom. “We are here to evaluate your abilities. Some of your fellow students have volunteered to help you with this. Please use your abilities as you see fit.” Should any of them look to the far end of the room, they could notice a platform that had risen up fifty feet above them. On that platform they could see the familiar figures of Daniel and Iris, tied up together there, they seemed to be tied with chains that had three locks on it. “HEY GUYS!” Daniel called out while Iris just rolled her eyes and muttered something under her breath. The students could also see that there were three platforms rising up at different levels, they were all quite large, stretching from one end of the Doom Room to the other. Each platform had platform would have different environments simulated on them. The first and closest to the ground, had a forest theme to it. Trees, rocks and boulders could be seen on it. The next platform up seemed to have a city simulated on it. Or at least an urban area, small houses could be seen on it. Finally, the top seemed to look like the interior of a space ship. The supervisor would speak. “The object of this exercise is to rescue your fellow students. Each platform you see with spawn an enemy of a specific type. There are also three keys, one on each. You must find the keys to free them. Please take some time to prepare. You start in five minutes.” ( @Kaede Kimura @Supercape @Poncho )
  4. Today
  5. Bluff Results 1d20+11: 29 [1d20=18]
  6. Could you throw a bluff roll for me? DC 10
  7. Cerebellum Daniel blinked in surprise when he saw General Sparks in...the real world?! The male twin's eyes shifted around the room briefly, he had to turn away from the flash, a flash that seemed to have awoken Iris. He breathed a sigh of relief before turning to the misplaced villain. "You shouldn't be here!" He cried out, seeing Carmen's attack fail made Daniel reconsider throwing something at him. "We'll tell you later Carmen! We need to stop this wannabe dictator." With that he pointed towards Sparks and focused. Faint purple waves shot out from his forehead and pressed against the General's. Causing mental pain as Daniel Mind Blasted him!
  8. GM "Roger... Paramedics en route...." called in the control tower. The Captain grabbed Predator by the arms, wincing in pain, skin pale, sweaty. Snow was falling on his face. Light snow, melting. "Listen. We are comprimised... do you understand? Nobody knew about our flight. Classified. And someone... something... was on it. They didn't tell me what this was about, but you can bet is hot, right? So take it from me, somebody, somewhere, is a mole. Whatever this is about, someone is on to you. Don't speak to anyone..." The Captain looked down to his bloodied military fatigues. "Nice job..." he muttered, before passing out.
  9. @Dracostern the psychic blast will automatically hit, so post that IC 11 for his will save vs DC 23, so that makes him staggered and dazed
  10. GM "What am I? What am I? I am no mere... THING!" roared General Sparks, shaking one lightning fist to the skies. "I AM GENERAL SPARKS! SUPREME COMMANDER OF EARTH!" He looked around. "Where am I? Am I on earth?" he asked, looking quite confounded and confused. The sparks still flewm however. The lights on the cieling exploded, and glass tinkled to the ground, covering the heroes. "What have you done??? Where am I?" screamed General Sparks.
  11. Carmen leaps down right towards this strange being that had come out of the game console and cartridge just as she was soon flashed by the bright light, blinding her intensely, unable to see whatsoever. The werecat's claws already in motion but cutting through pure energy. It would do little against this being, instead being given in return the worse shocking she had taken in her entire life. Volts cutting through her body, crying out loud before stumbling back out of the range of the aura that had just gone through her. Somehow, for now, she had managed to preserver herself, holding out but a more singed than she was beforehand. "What is this thing!?"
  12. Puma manages to hold out against the sudden shock with a 26 likely.
  13. Alright, Daniel is going to Mind Blast him!
  14. Predator Predator caught the captain as he collapsed. She believed him when he said the pilots were okay, but he was most assuredly not. It was obvious the mission had been compromised. But, to what extent? That would have to wait, she needed to help the officer. She easily hopped back into the plane and carefully laid him down. A quick glance around and she found the first-aid kit. It was basic but it would do. A quick search of the man also netted her his own standard issued bandage kit. She knew better than to just yank the shard out. It didn’t seem to have passed through completely. Opening her helmet and disengaging the filters she sniffed the area. The lack of foul smells gave her hope that the wound had miraculously avoided the intestines. She should have time. “I apologize sir, this may hurt.” She offered the man solemnly, then opened a small bottle of antiseptic. Quickly she attempted to clean the wound some, before using several bandages to cover it around the debris. Scooping the captain up she exited the plane. “Cynthia. Put me in contact with the control tower.” “Yes ma’am.” There was a short pause from the computer as Predator began to run as fast as she dared with her passenger. “Connected.” Cynthia spoke again. “Control! This is military flight Foxtrot, Kilo, Delta, Niner. Plane is down. Pilots alive but incapacitated, still onboard. I have one serious wounded, coming to you. Please ready emergency personnel and/or redirect to nearest emergency services.”
  15. Gen Sparks is going to let you hit! Unfortunately as he is pure lightning now (Insubstantial 3) he is immune to physical attacks, and further more you suffer a Damage 8 effect from his lightning aura, @MoonSimply:( Could you post that IC and then Daniel is up, @Dracostern
  16. Shooting Star Alice took half a step forward when the red capped creature appeared behind Steel Shade, but hesitated before her reflexes could kick in and instead of interposing herself between them just watched as the Gremlins reject stabbed her brother. Her jaw creaked from clenching it, trying not to let it show how seeing him hurt upset her when the rest appeared. Truly masters of negotiation this lot. The other two heroes each responded in their own way, Big Red by... spouting a worker's creed or something, the more interesting in one was the guy who clearly knew what they were up against. Still, she couldn't resist a quip. "Hey! You lot are trying to rob what they've rightfully stolen!"
  17. Paper The door never stood a chance. Sue burst through them like an unstoppable battering ram. It had served its purpose to focus attention on him while Like snuck in from above. From atop the paper-predator Paper took in the scene. It was like something out of a B-movie. Behind a desk at the center a man sat. A man he recognized as Alice’s older brother. But the way he was dressed raised even more questions. Aaron knew who he was before he could say anything himself. Wordlessly, he hopped down off the construct. Reaching up he pulled off the white paper face mask and regarded him. He figured Like was here too, but didn’t know where. Leo. Needed to keep him focused on him. “How did you know?” He asked as he reached out with his senses again. He’d been wrong, Aaron seemed to be alone but the money was still there.
  18. Puma will jump into action and.... score low with a 15 (41 for the Light Blindness miss chance).
  19. @Nerdzul looks like you got in a post last time you were up. I’m always willing to wait if needed. Or, I can GM it if you really want me to.
  20. Btw I haven't posted IC I think, sorry, but I noticed that my OOC post wasn't saying much, my idea was that Luke will just keep going like the round before trying to get the vampire KO (toughness save has the same difficulty so still 24).
  21. Luke nodded as his friend suggested they split up. Now, doing so ran contrary pretty much to every movie he had seen ever, when jumping into a trap, but then again, this was the real world after all. "Roger Roger..." He chuckled. As quietly as he could, he darted inside, but was quickly welcomed by a figure that was very much aware of their presence. Someone familiar, albeit unexpectedly so. He was about to reveal himself and offer Aaron (that was now a supervillain?) some snide remark and yet, if he was asking Leon about him, perhaps the man was not aware of his presence and it was better to keep it concealed, for now, in case thing escalated. So instead he just waited in the dark, listening to what the man had to say. From all the theatrics, my bet is, nothing pleasant...
  22. Right, attack and grapple are the initial action. Next round you can choose to do damage. May bad. @Avenger Assembled you ca post IC when you have a chance. Wildchild will spend her turn shaking off her daze the monster will roll to try clearing the dazzle. Fort: 23 Which I believe succeeds other then that she pulls uselessly against SD. I’ll get a post up after you, then it’ll be Diamondlight’s turn
  23. Predator Predator watched as the alien soldier dropped their weapon and backed away. She relaxed he own stance and nodded in acknowledgment as she took a step back to show acceptance of the ‘cease-fire’. The armored hero moved to rejoin the others, noting the sentiment was shared by the rest of the alien force. “Well, it would seem that sensibility has been reached.” Predator came to stand beside Fleur. She regarded the leader, Sovereign. “What will you do with him?” The question obviously directed at Paradigm and Star Khan. “I would assume your own claim for justice supersedes our own.” The polished helmet looks up at the taller heroes.
  24. Predator Predator nodded as the nurse mentioned the body having been moved to the morgue. She shook her head though as the woman blamed herself. “You had no way to know. Just focus on keeping these people safe until we can clear the area and you can be extracted.” “His records might hold a clue. If it mentions where he was found it would prove a sensible starting point. Any biometrics or evidence found on him.” Predator regards the nurse. “The apparel he arrived in, do you know if it was already disposed of or was it processed as possible evidence for the police?”
  25. Blackstaff Blackstaff watched the quartet as they stopped to consider the heroes. Suddenly, goblins sprang from hiding, and he swore. Not just goblins, but redcaps as well. Goblins were bothersome, but the redcaps could be just murderous… at best. They could push their less hostile cousins to more violence. He chanced a glance at the shorter man in the red shirt. Well, his sentiment seemed to be in the right. He slowly turned his head to scan his flanks and back. Almost two dozen that he could count. “You shouldn’t be up here.” The wizard addressed the goblins and caps, knowing better than to try correcting their demand. They meant what they said. “Leave now, and I promise none will follow.” Blackstaff tried to sound authoritative, and totally not worried. They were smaller, but if they swarmed…
  26. "Ah! Get back!" Dwayne yelled. "Who are the Metalloids? Are there more of you!?" He tried to chase after the cresture, this time doing his best to not slip and hurt himself, even if it meant going slower. If there were more of them, if the monorail was aggressively electeified, that could be quite bad. He needed to stop this creature, and find these other 'Metalloids'. The best thing to do was probably trying to keep a close eye on this metalloid and keep him busy. "Please tell me more about your Metalloid allies. If we're going to have fun, surely they should also be here?"
