  1. Now when confronted with this threat, he reverted to his normal tactic, and bumbled the coffee, spilling it onto his arm, and smiling sheepishly, his normal winning way. "Normally I don't expect so lovely women to be associated with a hostile take over, is that how things are done now?" He moved to the rest room, stalling a little, before wiping off the coffee, and then letting her lead him towards the board room. The heat from the coffee wasn't much but it was a start. Of course he relentless flirted with her, playing up to the reputation he had earned. "I don't suppose I could offer you more money than what he is, and you and I could take a two week vacation to the Maldives? Any luck?" And then they were in the board room, and he looked surprised at the mirror image of the woman who had greeted him and he looked at the Grey little fellow, and he smiled a little bit. "You know this is kind of a large company, and while we aren't public, yet, I don't think this method of taking over is really feasible. I am kind of well known." He did glance to the members of the board, to make sure they weren't harmed, and gave Ms. Van Cleef a look as well, as she had risked herself to make the call.
  2. Interaction with female, Diplomacy check. Flirting with the female goon. (1d20+15=27) And for when he enters the board room, bluff check. Faking being a fop. (1d20+15=25)
  3. From his apartment to the Summit Transnational was something like fifteen minutes, on a good day, in traffic. This was not the case when one was breaking the speedlimit in the sky, and able to avoid red lights and things of that nature. "I'm sorry we're all in a meeting at the moment. Maybe I'll see you later. Kiss Kiss." And then he was hung up on. Gritting his teeth the billionaire playboy pushed as hard as he could with whatever it was that let him fly. And he started to go faster, and faster, until he was rivaling the speeds of a high performance sports car. Of course he lacked a speedometer, and had never tested how fast he went. Jetting around building, as he go in sight of his building, he quickly tapped one of the buttons on the phone, to send the signal to open the window in his office. Something he had installed as a just in case. And it seemed that was more than necessary now. Landing in his office, he threw his phone onto the leather sofa he had in the massive office suite, and started towards the stairwell, and the two flights down towards the board room. They never take me seriously. They obviously waited for a day Winter wasn't here. Crapcrapcrapcrap. Managing to keep his face straight, and collected as he moved, while also on the look out for someone, or something that might bar his way to the board room.
  4. His extended... vacation over, he was still recovering from it. He hadn't expected a call from Ana until after the meeting was over, it was all simple stuff, nothing he needed to sign off on. Hell it wasn't even an end of Fiscal quarter meeting. So that he was getting the call was a little odd, and he brought it to his ear, hearing her voice as soon as he picked up. “Sir I think you might be interested in this…†And then came the words of the person in his boardroom, and the unease was almost a palpable thing. He didn't need to listen to it for very long before he got the gist of a hostile takeover... of the 'threaten you to get my way' school of thought.' Suppressing his immediate response, which might have been heard, he muted the mic on his phone, and moved to the window in room in townhouse, and opened it. He wasn't terribly far away, in Parkside, after all, and while he could say a lot about that mad scientist, he was flying faster than when his powers first developed. Holding the phone against himself, he leaped from the building, and threw his weight forward to move through the air. His speed started to pick up, surging faster and faster, as he pushed himself beyond what he normally could do. Despite the image he projected, it was his company, and he not going to let someone bully it out from under him.
  5. Apologies for dropping off the face of the board. I had an interesting belated 29th birthday present, type 1 diabetes. So there was an ICU visit, and all sorts of other stuff. I am sort of back to normal. I guess, yanno barring a lifestyle shift, and everything.
  6. Owners of the safe and the nature of the contents.
  7. Asad is going to check on nearby civilians, and get back to assistant to get his uniform, and make a couple cell calls to apply his Connected feat, and a 25 Diplomacy check to get some info.
  8. Resist Intimidate (1d20+11=23) Using Sense Motive. Grapple (1d20+25=33)
  9. The suit was not meant to stand up to the Weather Mistress' attack, but he bore down through the next assault on him. It didn't matter, he saw the blades of the helicopter starting to slow, and two of the unshielded bots drop. Asad smiled, as he clenched a hand, gathering the power, and then throwing it out at her, but there was a method to it. As he made it look like he was throwing it like a pitch, as a wave of force and electricity surged out, but it dissipated before it struck her, brushing back her hair and uniform without much of anything behind it. Using the momentum from the throw he spun about, "Did someone get fooled by a changeup? Well here, have a fastball!" And as open as she left herself, he focused himself on hitting her, and this time unleashing the power out of his eyes, forming twin beams of energy, something he had noticed was that he could get more accurate by releasing the energy like this, and the beams struck her dead center in her mass, as he started to lose balance with the Italian leather dress shoe clad foot on the slick groun beneath him.
  10. Toughness Save (1d20+14=28) So neener. With the helicopter disabled, he is gonna feint at Weather Mistress with a Blast effect as a Move Action, then he'll use an All-Out/Accurate Attack on Weather Mistress. Skill Mastery on the Bluff. Making it a DC 20 check. All-Out and Accurate Attack. (1d20+15=29) Do DC25 Toughness check on her part.
  11. "On it!" Said as he seriously considered updating his wardrobe, yes, he was going to splurge on some morphic molecules, as this was idiotic, bordering on indecent, well at least he was giving the tabloids some decent coverage. And then he moved, snatching up up whatever device she had. "Listen, I feel terribly if I helped contribute to your condition, however right now, it's not me, it's you." And then Asad rose up into the air, holding onto that box with his currently monumental strength. Getting fifty feet up into the air then.
  12. Sheet is currently erroneous, I have 4 unspent PP, not the 8 listed. (previous had to spent 1 on an error from creation, 1 on skill Mastery, 1 on either Accurate Attack or All-Out Attack, and 1 one Lucky.) Would like to spend the 4 PP I currently have to add to Flight, bringing to Flight 3. Actually, double checking all of his math, he's only using 156 out of 158PP right now, even after the increased ranks of Flight! ~Gizmo
  13. Seeing what was happening, he heard Wail's order, for lack of a better word. It made sense, still a little rocked by getting smacked hard into the ground, and the billionaire didn't need . Gritting his teeth, he pushed forward, surging along the ground, flying low and darting around the things that were coming out of that big Wicker container. But he wasn't entirely focused on that, he was focused on the effort he had to made to put the lid back on top in a hurry, as with each passing moment more seemed to be pouring out of it. Thread the needle Amir, thread the needle. Despite the blurring vision and the ringing in his ears, he got to the lid, and off balance he spun, his arm whipping around and he hurled the lid back towards it's original resting spot. And he watched, as the lid spun and wobbled in it's trajectory, until it hit the lip of the basket and fell back down to the ground, his expression growing disheartened, for a moment. Then, he did the only thing he knew to do... he talked. "Hey! Uglies! You want to drag someone into your basket!? You want to punish the wicked, well I am a banker! There gets no worse than me! So come on! Take me! Leave these people alone! Come on, rich men are not virtuous! And I run a multinational and own an island!" He knew he was on it's radar, and he hoped if he was annoying enough... Well he had a plan. And he knew it was a stupid, it was an idiotic plan. But it's all he had right now. Now to see if it took the bait.
  14. Asad is going to spend a hero point, and then comes the running. He'll use flight to get to the lid, and then All-Out Attack and Accurate Attack on that, throw it. And I'll see how cinematic I can make it. 1d20+13=14 Well crap.
  15. 1d20+14=34 Toughness versus Bear. Asad is going to snatch up the device, and then take a Move up into the air, so he can Drain Energy on the device next round.
  16. Asad: Worth Its Weight Kramp My Style Table for Two, and Some Villains
  17. Amir looked at Meagan, his expression a little less than enthused. "I remember than hitting the private collectors market. You honestly don't want to know how much I heard it went for." Arms folded across his chest, and narrowing. "So it is a unique gemstone with strange properties, worth more than the gross domestic product of most Central American countries. It was nabbed by Larceny Inc., anyone able to figure out which way they went, or who would want this?" He frowned a little in thought, looking to Meagan. "How many people knew you had this gem? And did you get any offers recently for it?" He might not be the world's foremost seer into the mind of criminals, but he did know how business worked, and there were several interviews with him remarking on the similarities between that and larceny.
  18. Glowering at Firebug, and releasing the vault, as he channeled his power to a different direction. "Let's see if this works..." Seeing Cannonade putting a fist through the chest of one, he got an idea. Holding up a hand, he did something a bit new. There wasn't much of an initial visual effect, but it was the same as every time he consciously siphoned energy, it took a lot of concerted effort. So hopefully no one got him by surprise. It was like a dam burst as the power poured out of two of the Charibdrones, and the helicopter, and arced back to his outstretched hand. "Let me demonstrate how one properly does an assertive capitalist economic model."
  19. Asad will use stunt his Drain Energy, making it a Line or Cone AoE (GMs call), as he tries to get the Bots, and the copter in on blast. Talked with TT, so that'll make this a Drain Energy 8 effect. Ref save, which I believe is DC 18.
  20. "Oh great... he's spawning..." The creatures came at him, clawing at him, and doing little more than cutting his suit. He didn't know that his eyes were still bleeding out light, somehow managing to look imperious even dressed as that, standing with perfect posture, and his face looking more annoyed at what was happening than made. The kind of expression one expected a king to have when confronted by unruly lesser. "Enough!" And force exploded out from him, knocking away the creatures around them, as he hit them with several tons of force by releasing it out. He managed to restrain the blast from going to it's full size, but it would blow away the remains of his Santa outfit, leaving him in just his uniform, and glaring disdainfully right up at the Giant Krampus.
  21. The hail pelted at him, ineffectually, except for making his five thousand dollar suit sodden. His fingers tightening their grip on the Vault, a grim smile on his face as he held onto it like a pitbull. Then came the fire, it hurt, but only in the 'first degree burn' level. He'd get some aloe vera and he'd be fine later. "Don't you people understand that today is a bank holiday? That means: NO WITHDRAWALS!" Swerving his head about, he looked at Firebug, lining it up carefully, before releasing some of the force that had be absorbed by him earlier. He was getting better at channeling it, and this time he channeled out of his eyes, something he had experimented with prior. A beam of distortion and light and it hit Firebug square in the midsection, sending him away with the force of a hammerblow and crumpling the man like a ragdoll. "Sorry chum, you didn't see the third option. I beat you."
  22. Reflex (1d20+7=15) Well he is holding a safe. TOU vs. Weather Mistress TOU (1d20+15=27) So, HA! TOU vs. Firebug TOU (1d20+15=25) Slightly Toasted. And Grapple Check. Grapple (1d20+25=42) REJECTION! Asad is going to use a Blast on Firebug. Kinetic based. Using All-Out attack, as he really can't dodge, anyway. 1d20+10=30 CRIT! We're gonna go with Increased Effect, so... 1d20+10=30 So, DC 35 TOU save. Asad brings the pain.
  23. 1d20+15=17 Grrrr. HP that, and reroll. 1d20+15=26 HA! Asad uses his Burst Damage 10. DC20 Reflex save. Right? It's Base 10 + Rating? He will shore up the radius, if possible, to avoid hitting the orphans and priest and such. I.e. not use all 200' of the radius. But still with full power.
  24. He didn't know which hurt more. The swing from the Krampus or where he hit the ground. Somehow he caught his fall, unable to use his power of flight except to prevent himself from hitting other people, the impact was still just staggering in force, making concrete crumple like tissue paper under him, and blurred his vision. Then came the power roaring in his ears, (the real reason he called himself by his codename). Amir resisted the urge to just simply lay there and regain his senses, and he got to his feet swaying in a punch-drunk manner. "I am gonna thank you for the charge Ugly! Now kindly step off the orphans!" And he lifted a hand up, unaware he was starting to glow, before it happened. All the energy he couldn't absorb was bleeding off him, as he did, his eyes becamed focused. A glowing ripple of surged out of his chest, and he guided it with both of his arms and hands, and then a brilliant out bolt of pure kinetic energy back out at the overly large cautionary tale. Still addled from the impact from the Krampus' strike the blast sailed wide and went past the Krampus.
  25. Surging to standard and then making an attack.
