  1. Asad, to his credit, didn't question this at all. Instead he pulled his phone out and dialed 911. "Hello? I need an ambulance, now..." And then he proceeded to rattle off the location, and that someone had fallen down after being punched. He watched her giving chest compressions to the guy who tried to stab him, and his anger started to ramp up. "Listen, send someone here now! I do not have time for twenty questions! I am Amir al Misri, and I just punched an attempted carthief. He is convulsing on the ground and someone is giving him CPR. He needs medical attention. Get someone here five minutes ago!" Almost growling the last few words, it was rare he used his clout, but when he heard the beleaguered operator said that someone was dispatched he relented, and hung up, after saying, "Thank you."
  2. "Hardly!" Off-balance he use his ability to fly to surge towards the battle suit as it reeled from her blow, and Lady Winter got to see her boss' strength when it was powered up, she could see the tracers of power moving through his skin, and going to his fist as it struck the armored wearer in the gut. Enough force to cascade off, to crumple metal. Bits and pieces of the suit showering out as the punch lifted the battlesuited person up, and then sent hurtling up and away, much like the Pyro she had hit with with her ice blast. "I can, actually' hit hard myself. Let's go after them! I do not appreciate being attacked like this."
  3. 1d20+11=23 And Battlesuit is stunned again. And another bruise Asad swings! And hits cause Battlesuit is stunned! All-Out Attack (1d20+10=14) Battlesuit needs another Tou Save, versus DC30 1d20+10=18
  4. Had actually been working on his fighting abilities, especially after his extended 'vacation' in Europe. He immediately tucked his head towards the mugger's body, and using his hand as a guide, he spun the man around by the arm. Even without his powers running, Asad was fairly strong. And right now the mugger got to feel that strength as he took a wild swing at the man's face, and connected solidly with a right cross to his face. "Come on sunshine! You are the one that wanted to dance! What!? Now that I actually offer a fight you are going to be upset!?" He was actually kind of mad. It was hard to really be howling mad at supervillains. Well to a point. Honestly he just had a lot of anger recently that he hadn't worked through, and fortunately this guy couldn't trigger his powers.
  5. 1d20+10=21 Asad punched said person. And Hits. DC20 Tou.
  6. Slowly he pushed himself to his feel, and grunted with effort and slowly he starts to pull his arms apart. "No, I think I have this... Please, continue to thrash him." And then a louder, shriller groan happened, as the metal and other materials of the net started to give away, and then with a ka-thunk! he ripped it off of him, and it dropped to the ground. "This is why you do not piss off a Russian, my friend. I would recommend giving up, or running away. Those are your best options." Kicking the last bit of the netting from him and growling just a little bit as he clenched his fists and stepped towards Lady Winter and her new friend.
  7. Asad looked down, at the knife that met with his stomach, and stopped right there. He blinked a little bit, and then lifted his gaze back to the face of the mugger. "Oh, hello. Is this how you greet people in these parts? Please, go ahead, give a few more tries. On second thought, I have this itch I just can't reach." Slowly turning, he looked over his shoulder at the would-be mugger, and then pointed towards his back, and nodded. "Right there, between the shoulder blades, and really, try hard, alright? I mean, you might as well get the most out of this. No sense in half-measures!" Smirking a little bit, unable to just really rub it in to the guy, if he didn't have the driver he might have let him steal the car. But frankly, he had hoped for at least a gun.
  8. Impervious means neener, and then comes the Taunt. DC24 resist.
  9. 1d20+10=1717] So Bruised and Stunned for 1 round So Battlesuit loses a round, Asad now wishes to get out. So Spends a standard action to do so.
  10. GM October 11th, 10:30 AM Ms. van Cleef was a very precise person. She was, in a lot of ways, the Yin to Asad's Yang. She waited, patiently for her employer's newest attempt at... whatever it was he was thinking, honestly she had given up trying to divine his intents. When she took this job she accepted that he was crazy, she had not expected the super powers or anything else, but in fairness, no one expected that, though this meant she was given a bit of extra leeway with the company, which was good, though nominally Asad was a light touch. In the years since she accepted the job, she had to give a small, and grudging respect for him. And that irked her. That he glided so easily through school and now the business world, so effortless. She didn't hate him, she was adult enough to know that it was simply envy. Those wounds were gone, as much as she was his assistant, she also ran this company. She checked her phone, noting the time, the appointment was for eleven, but she had been told to expect Asad's guest early. Quickly checking the European markets as she waited.
  11. October 12th, 11:45PM Finding his target was proving tricky. But then, the word on the street was she was a ninja. Or a ghost. Or both. Not that he put much stock in those rumors. Fortunately she tended to leave something of a trail. The police scanner helped, and he had his driver follow along the trail of criminals tied to lampposts, making sure to do his duty. He folded his arms and stared at the Fens, growing slightly angry, his expression pensive. "There, up two blocks, stop the car." His driver glanced at him and then nodded, clearly no happy with the idea. But he pulled over after those two blocks, and Asad stepped out. Already dressed in his 'uniform,' such as it was, he pulled his gloves on, closing the velcro clasp and then leaned back on the car, his arms once more folded across his chest, waiting. He didn't expect himself to be able to just readily find her as she skulked about the fens, but he hoped that if he made himself visible in a spot, near where he expected her to be that she might bite on the bait, it also helped that he half-expected someone to show up and pick a fight with him, to help pique her interest more. As he, and his car was definitely at odds with the neighborhood.
  12. He spun around in time to see the missile impact Lady Winter, his face cycling through emotions, before settling on rage. Though he was still taken by surprise as the impact of the net caught him by surprise, it opened up and wrapped around him in layers preventing any movement, and making him drop to his knees, none of the impacts sufficient to actually be usable. "I don't appreciate people hitting my friends with missiles!" Seeing that glowing strand of energy connecting the nets to the power suit, and he reached out with his powers and started to siphon that energy away. There was nothing visible for a moment, before the strand's glow increase as it served as a greater conduit for power, and then there was sparks coming from the emitter on the powersuit, and then the laser tether failed completely.
  13. GM Seeing Lady Winter on the ground, the armored person wasted no time before taking aim at Asad, who was still surprised at these turn of events. And as he spun around he was caught dead center in the chest with something that surged out and wrapped him up in a snarl of cabling knocking him to the ground. A cord of blue energy connected between the armor and the net that caught him. And then the battlesuit aimed it's gun arm back at Lady Winter, it's intentions clear. Before it started to move back, him being dragged along by the the tether attached to the net.
  14. 1d20+5=8 Asad fails his reflex. And is bound and helpess and now getting dragged by the opponent. Asad is going to employ his Drain on this. NPC resists Asad's drain. 1d20+10=20 So I am gonna rule, Asad is still bound, he just knocks out the power supply for the Snare power and hence removes the tether.
  15. Battlesuit hits Asad with a snare. 1d20+10=26
  16. Resolved those issues. I am trying to make someone thematically divergent from Asad. More than that, he will be adding abilities to compensate, and allow him to interact in that level. I do understand this hampers him right now. I do not plan for it to hamper him forever.
  17. So Bruise and Stunned and knocked her down, and Asad has no action... And back to Powersuit. Nefarious. Go ahead an do an IC post in reaction.
  18. His lips curled into a small smile as he shook his head slowly. "And I get accused as a showoff? Hm. My rule is never be completely honest about one's powers." But he nodded at the instructions for what came next. "For the record, I do not expect this to be fun. Annoying perhaps. As I can promise that my presence will only slightly be welcome... Though, again, money." And he flashed her a winning smile, and signaled that they were done. "And I have to admit I am spoiling for a fight, more than a little bit." Offering up the waitress the card he had offered to Merge earlier, "Point though, for the double entendre with... yourselves, that is new for me."
  19. GM Scratch it up to fear, or something instinctual and primal, but whatever it was, when Lady Winter pulled up her power, there was a decided extra bit of oomph. Especially as the armored person spread their arms and moved towards her, fire coruscating over their form. The kind of thing that was not good for her. What hit him was not just a wintry blast to the face, it was more than that. The moisture in the air sucked in with enough force to make an audible pop as the sudden cold was enough to flash freeze a line of artic might right into her foe. And it kept moving past them, carrying the enemy with it until the ice stopped, and well the bad guy just kept going. Flying up and back, and taking the individual out of the fight. And leaving the other person alone with them. Fortunately the person, thing... whatever, was at least the consummate professional, and lifted their left arm, which ended in something resembling a gun rather than an articulated hand. And then the rocket shot forth from the outstretched arms, impacting Lady Winter in the chest, and exploding. The force of which threatens to knock her flat.
  20. 1d20+10=23 So hit. DC25 Tou save, DC20 Dex check to now get thrown flat on her ground
  21. 1d20+10=26 Missile to LW. DC25 Tou. And resist trip check, with your Dex mod.
  22. GM Unfortunately for the billionaire hero he did not see, or hear the disturbance as it was happening. His back was to it, and he was chatting up, as he was want to do. So he didn't notice the flash of light, it was midday on a brisk autumn afternoon, after all. Nor did he see the people people appear in armor behind him. Fortunately for them both, Lady Winter did, and more importantly she saw them lift limbs and ready weapons. So it looked like, today at least, her boss was going to get his money's worth, as they seemed slightly discombobulated from them appearing like they did in front of the pair. And then she saw the flames come to light in the thinner of the two, whose armor seemed less technological and more... baroque.
  23. Asad surprised, LW not. Roll initiative. Fire User: 1d20+4=6 Armor: 1d20+3=10 Asad will just go last on next round.
