1. 1d20+14=19 Notice check to see what can be seen from inside the vent. If Downtime is laying down, then I'll make a stealth check to try and get his time belt away from him.
2. Wisp slipped the phone onto her belt, nodding her thanks. "Well, with that covered, I'm going to slip down that ventilation shaft, see what I can find." Wisp moved over to the indicated vent grating. Her fingers closed around the slats and with a jerk, ripped it out its frame. Looking at the wall and the now scrap metal in her grasp she sighed, Shoddy maintenance. Very sloppy Guy, very sloppy. Silently she slipped into the shaft, wriggling down the tin until she got to a point where she could see inside.
3. Probably for the best, especially with the giant cat on the bus .
4. Victoria lounged in the over sized bed in the bedroom of the quarters she'd been given, sleep had been deliciously restful. Her inviting Morgan in hadn't helped though, they'd stayed up an extra hour or so making out, as well as letting their hands wander a little more given the lack of authority figures. The morning sun's light streaming into her room dragged her from dreamland. After dragging herself out of bed, she shuffled to the shower and luxuriated under the steaming water for most of half an hour, the first shower she'd had in months where she didn't have to worry about holding up the line. After drying and changing into a fresh version of her costume, a knock came from the door informing her breakfast was about to be served. Making her way towards the dining room. Grabbing her own plate she piled it high with eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, fruits, and a small carafe of orange juice. Looking for a seat she saw a spot next to a Cannonade. Since the rest of the Claremont crew hadn't come down yet, and preferred sitting with someone she'd met before, she headed over. "Hey Cannon, good to see you again," she said with a smile, "Mind if I sit here?"
5. I'd bring Wisp in on this since if there's room left.
6. Wisp moved quietly through the room, looking at the tanks and feeling both her stomach trying to revolt and like she was in a bad horror movie, 'Attack of the Radioactive Nazi Zombies' was both an apt description of the night and sounding like a 50s b-movie. Each tank she passed, she had the unnerving feeling the form inside was watching her and her companions, even from the flesh-sacks that didn't have eyes. "Okay gang, this takes my personal tolerance for creepy and dials it up to eleven," she said, turning a slow circle. Then she heard Push's rather vehement curse, "Make that a twelve. I don't like when the guy with the big hammer starts making sounds like that. What did you find?"
7. Wisp sat back down, scooting a little closer to Crow, "Didn't know that. Still, figured it was best to use our mask-names while we're here. Our host mentioned this wasn't open exclusively to people who do bright and shiny deeds, a Myr just punctuated for me." "Crow's of course right, Sun Goku could make a killing if the fights were recorded and burned to blu-ray. Just look at the numbers WWE pulls in. Though, if he had that in mind I'm sure he'd have some gimmick matches like mud wrestling and the attendants sure wouldn't be robed monks. Still, the anticipation is killing me. I just hope none of us get paired off in the first round."
8. "I know I still owe you for that soda but I think this will hold you over until I can swing by the store and pick up a fresh pack?" Vicky asked before she dove into her food. Despite knowing she'd need the energy of the massive intake of calories and carbohydrates she was enjoying, she slowed down her eating pace so she didn't look like some half-starved homeless woman. When she was finished and not a scrap of meat or vegetable remained on her plates she thanked the attendant who took the empty pieces of dinnerware before getting up to look around for anymore familiar faces. Spotting John she waved her duplicating friend over to the table she was sharing with Crow and Changeling, "Myrmidon, good to see another familiar face in here. Have you met Changling?"

10. Vicky stood at parade rest, feet shoulder width apart and her shoulders squared and hands clasped behind her back, trying to imitate how Falconer himself had stood that night on the makeshift airstrip. If she was going to be taking lessons from a military man, she may as well look like she's paying attention to the drills. When Snow dropped from the twilight sky with a cry, Vicky barely twitched. She knew if the bird was going to dive at her she could simply teleport out of the way before those razor sharp talons could sink into her flesh. "I was wondering where your companion was," she said to the Russian.
11. 1d20+14=34 Yeah, Vicky catches the acrobatic bluff.
12. Listening to Guan Yu speech Vicky nodded, finding the terms acceptable. To Xian she nodded, "Sure, I'll compete." She slid her arm around Crow's offered limb as they followed behind Etain, silently glad she hadn't been to one to suggest food. "So we now know your father was here but given what I've been told of my mother's missions way back when, I can't help but wonder if she got invited last time too," she mused to Crow while they walked. As they moved through the crowd she thought she spotted Fulcrum and Sage but couldn't be sure. She made a mental note to slip over for a second to at least say hello, maybe see if they'd be interested in another poker night. One that would hopefully be less awkward than the last. Shaking the negative memories of that poker game away, her crimson eyes shone at the massive selection of food before them and the attendants who moved around it. And they don't even have their riot gear... They could learn from Chinese buffets back home.
13. Wisp appeared in a cloud of her bicolored smoke next to Crow, "Well it should be noted I almost went with Sparrow for my 'masked' named. And yes, before you can say 'I told you so', you were right. Next movie's your pick, as per the bet." Looking over at their host she smiled and switched her speach to Russian, "Good to see you again Falconer. Thanks again for this training session."
14. A history revamp/expansion. Just completely replace the existing History section. History:Victoria Anastasia Knight is the only child of Johnathan and Natasha Knight. John was a CIA operative during the Cold War while Natasha was a Soviet double-agent, feeding the Americans intel from the KGB. Both had participated in their nation's super-soldier serum. John's was a variant on the serum The Patriot was given that, instead of making a man into the peak of humanity, granted him two powers that would aid greatly in espionage and assassination, invisibility and teleportation. Natasha's however, due to the Soviet Union's crippled financial condition and their war in Afghanistan, used a serum left-over from The Great Patriotic War, a serum based on blood samples taken from Superior found in a captured Nazi lab. She was the best qualified person who volunteered for the test. It left her with super-human strength and abilities of the Ultiman, if to a limited degree, some of which (such as the energy blasts) she had better control than others. Her commanders assigned her mostly to body guarding and espionage missions. Her mother and father ran into each other multiple times over the years where, after years of romancing and convincing, she eventually began feeding intel to the Americans and giving false information to her own people. In the late '80s, she defected West and assumed a new life in America with John. As a child Vicky, named after her paternal grandmother, learned as much as she could from her parents, in case any old enemies showed up (obviously, they didn't tell her that last part). The result however left her less than outgoing, thus her reclusive personality, retreating into Sci-Fi and Fantasy of all sorts. Before her powers manifested, she might have been well on her way to a life locked in her home with few friends or outside contact. When her powers did emerge, they did so in a way that pretty much destroyed a chance at keeping them secret. The local cheerleaders, most of whom had tormented Vicky for openly reading books like World War Z and Mistborn, though mainly because she read the Russian language versions of those books, had cornered her and were about to spray paint her and her backpack again. As the head cheerleader moved in with the can of purple spray paint aimed at Vicky's face, her fear and anger caused her to teleport behind her and before she knew what she was doing she had laid out the squad. More amazing to her was that the scrapes and bruises on her knuckles from where she'd punched the girls healed before for her stunned eyes. The next few weeks were, tense to say the least. Her parents were less than pleased she'd been suspended for the incident. The principal had always been one to side with the cheer squad, since their parents usually donated the most, so when Vicky was found standing over the group of girls groaning in pain, she was removed from the school. When the representative from Claremont Academy came and offered her a place to attend class with other meta-humans, to practice with and gain full control of her powers. She and her parents agreed this was an excellent idea and they began preparations for the move. Upon seeing the campus she was hooked. Seeing it as a chance to start over, and with that in mind she made a concentrated effort to come out of the shell she'd built around herself. Taking up the mask she wears now, she picked a codename that focused on the stealth training and puffs of smoke her teleportation leaves and thus Wisp was born. Also editing her motivation Personality & Motivation: Bullied and abused by those with more power, be it physical or social, Vicky has sworn a personal oath to use her powers responsibly, helping those who can't help themselves. And, her tactics note... Powers & Tactics: Wisp's strength is in the range of the pinnacle of what a normal human is capable of and between her stealth and high mobility she has little trouble leading a charge. She's not afraid to go toe to toe with anyone, knowing she'll heal quickly. Doktor'd
15. "It's okay. I know a couple shapeshifters who forget some of us have less mutable skeletons and facial structures," Vicky replied with a grin. "I admit, I think it would be kinda cool to try though." "I did indeed, trading names and all since you did just adopt me in the Super-Big-Sisters program," she smirked, "And yeah, I usually go by Vicky. Back home I also got nicknamed Lefty a few years back by my role-playing and general nerd group." She followed Lynn into the cafe and sat in the booth, scanning her own menu, her stomach already growling at the pictures of the food on the menu and the scents in the air.
16. Vicky took a deep breath, calming down and noticing for the first time she was in costume herself. "Hey Etain. Wasn't expecting to run into anyone I knew here. I've done a few 'vanilla' tournaments as part of my basic martial arts training." Turning back to the administrator she let out another breath. "Okay, so his father competed in and won the last one? Before I make my decision on staying or not, I would really like to know the rules of this event. I see somebody in power-armor so, I'm guessing weapons and powers are legal?"
17. Vicky chuckled at his pun, "True enough. Even if nothing else comes of it, the first meeting where we share the idea, we could quickly change the set up for a night of Halo or Mythbusters and junk food," she mused. Jotting down 'Friday - 20th - 8:30pm' she clicked the end of her pen, and stuck it and the notebook back into her bag. She leaned against her boyfriend and slipped under his arm, relaxing, "Much better."
18. Wisp looked around, her jaw slack. "Okay, I've seen some strange crap in the past few months but this... This takes it up to eleven. Any theory on just what in the hell is going on?" she asked her boyfriend. As the man came up and spoke, Vicky's glance evolved to include a raised eyebrow as well after the mention of his father's 'super-name'. When he was done she tried for calm but her voice came out a tad heated, "Small problem? You brought the wrong people here and it's only a small problem?"
19. 1d20+7=24 for Wisp's init. Notice check, 1d20+14=25
20. Vicky pulled from her bag a notebook and a pen. "There's you, Janis, Brian, and myself. John would probably be interested as well. Can you think of anyone else who might be a good fit for our little bunch?" Writing down everyone's name and a short note on their abilities and assets. She also made a note to see if her parents were still in contact with anyone who could help the team establish a headquarters, after which she tapped her pen against her lips as the thoughts played out in her mind. Turning the page she jotted down in bold letters "Name ideas". Glancing over at Morgan she tapped the word, 'spocked' an eyebrow and asked, "So, you have any?"
21. Wisp watched Cannonade take several swings at the door out of the corner of her eye. After the third try, she was standing next to him with a slight nimbus of her sanguine and ivory smoke around her body. "Say, want a hand with that?" she asked, cracking her knuckles. Before Cannonade could make any further statement on the matter, the young woman stepped forward and rammed her fist into the door. It landed with horrible sound, not that of bones breaking but close enough let anyone listening that the blow had hurt. A lot. The pain shooting up her arm quickly faded as the door finally came loose and fell inwards. "Totally. Worth it," she hissed through gritted teeth.
22. 1d20+8=13 A DC 27 save for the door from Mz Wisp.
23. Pulling off her mask, her face hidden from the eatery, she pulled on a pair of sunglasses dark enough to hide the fact her black sclera were black as well as the ruby shade of her irises. She shoved the mask into the bag the sunglasses had been pulled from and donning the sunglasses she exited the vehicle behind Lynn, "Not so much famous as unusual. Eyes are the window to the soul and even if they don't place my face, people might notice Victoria Knight having the same eyes as that 'new super', Wisp. It's just attention I don't really need, you know?"
24. "An excellent goal. Aim for the stars," Vicky agreed. "I'm glad we got this out of the way." Slipping over to his side of the booth she leaned in close to Morgan and before kissing him. Catching her breath, she said, "On another note, perhaps gathering a few more people to work with us wouldn't be a bad idea. Janis and John would be good candidates. Do you think Brian would interested in joining a team?"
