  1. Adding Feature [Mimicry] to Blods' Commlink for 1 pp. 8/25 pp of Tech Augmentation in use
  2. Myrmidon waited until he was positive the pair had moved away before placing his helmet back on and moving back to Blodeuwedds' side. He began speaking over their private comm frequency. << Have you ever heard of the Allied disinformation campaign in world war two called Operation Mincemeat? >> He gestured for her to raise her neck so he could touch the commlink he had given her to modify it. << They planted a fake body to wash up on the shore of Spain, with sets of forged documents and made to look like an accident at sea. Since the Spanish government worked with German intelligence, they delivered the items to the Germans. As a result, they believed that the Allied landings were in Greece and Sardinia, instead of the true Allied Objective of Sicily. >> There was a muted flash of blue as he modified the improvised device further. << That is what we are going to do. We will make them move their forces in an attempt to find the intruders, while allowing us free access across the facility. I can open any of the doors that either of these officers have access to. Optimally, my first strike would be to eliminate the commanders. >>
  3. GM The radio was relatively easy to find, since one of the crew members that she had introduced to the deck plating headfirst was stationed in front of it. It was a digital affair, with a host of buttons and dials. Most importantly though, it had a red 'emergency call' button covered with a plastic flip-top cap in to ward off accidental activation. Her commlink flared to life before she could operate anything though. << Myrmidon here. Explosives in place to cripple the steering, ready to detonate on your signal. When you radio in inform the responders that this vessel has what appear to be torpedo tubes. Over. >> Outside, Wisp could see various crew members dashing back and forth lashing down unattended items or double-checking those that were.
  4. With a quick mental command Myrmidon sent his duplicates into positions next to each of the downed foes, to keep an eye on them until they could be taken care of by the proper authorities of Tian. Their rapiers changed into spears which were then leveled at their unconscious charges. The original idly toed the unconscious shape-shifter that was apparently was the mastermind of this snafu before he addressed Sun Wukong. << What now? Do we have to return what they consumed back to the seat? >> Myrmidon hoped that was not to be the case, because any method that mentally came to mind was both unpleasant and messy. Not to mention unhygienic.
  5. Myrmidon Ants Among the Flowers ( 3 posts) Spanner in the Works ( 1 posts) The Espadas School: You Hold This End ( 2 posts) y Dderwen ( 2 posts) GM Spanner in the Works ( 2 posts) GM posts to Myrmidon of course. Apologies for the lateness.
  6. For the most part John only added to the conversation when he had any information to impart. "The school does have a parkour club which meets on Thursday evenings. I can talk to Miss Gabriella, the club president, if you would like to sit in on a meeting. It proved to be useful in learning the layout of Freedom City, which is why I became a member." He gestured at the gym. "Both Morgan and I are regularity at the gym in the mornings, so we can assist in assigning you a locker and informing you on any of the rules and regulations if you visit early enough." John wasn't much in favor of some of the more 'fun' equipment in the gym, preferring the more old fashioned exercise methods. He found it easier to do multiple sets of pull ups and using exercise grips than bothering with the climbing wall.
  7. Poor, Poor mooks. :? You easily take care of lot of them, since they can't make that save.
  8. Eriks' suggestion caused John to pause midway through a swing with a small scowl, recalling vividly the hands-on live fire combat instruction that made up the basis of most all of his training. The teen glanced and his weapon and realized that unlike his former training these weapons were safetied. With that in mind, the answer to the question came easily to the blonde. John turned to face his newfound instructor. "The latter would be my preference. It would help you to determine our baseline skill level, which would make further training regimens easy to tailor to our individual needs." Truth be told, John did think that four on one was a bit extreme especially since he was a firm believer in the adage 'experts are predicable, it is the amateurs that are dangerous.' Especially when it came to dealing with things that could cause bodily harm, safetied or not. Besides, he was not going to treat this like he treated actual combat by using any means to gain the upper hand. "However, I am fine with either choice."
  9. GM Wisp easily snuck past the vew sentries and cameras as she made her way to the bridge, her extensive stealth training letting her practically move unhidered throughout the boat. The bridge itself was abuzz with activity as a group of four were being ordered about by an older gentleman, obviously the captian of the vessel. The crew was armed, with sidearms holstered as the moved about the bridge. The captain himself was in the middle of a call, his hand on his headset. "Yes. Ma'am. About five minutes. Understood Ma'am." With that, he cancelled the call and moved forward and pressed the loudhailer. "Attention all hands. Rig for Dive." The microphone was returned to its cradle. "Simmons, plot a course NNE. Tucker, get me confirmation that those birds are secure." A chorus of "Yessirs!" followed as Wisp tried to ID the radio amoungst the plethora of switches and dials.
  10. And securitys' spot. 1d20+7=17 Wisp gets to the bridge of the ship, just need a Search check DC 20 to find the right radio amoungst all the buttons and dials in here! In addition, there is a small complement of 5 guys up here manning the stations. You have suprise since they didn't see you, and your teleport barrage easily covers the entire space.
  11. I'm partial to big honkin' spaceguns so my vote is for Shockwave.
  12. Happy Birthday to our local powerhouse Inuit from up north!
  13. John made a mental note to pack up his extraneous hobby supplies and drop them off with Cerys later. He had been wondering what to do with them since they were just unnecessarily cluttering up his room at this point. The other students ignored him or outright refused to meet his gaze as the small group passed, which was par for the course for John. Not that it bothered him. Besides, he deferred to others whenever he could in any sort of social situation. "If we are offering suggestions, mine would to take things on your own time, to set your own pace. There is a reason you are allowed to be here, so do not worry about the day-to-day minutiae at the moment. Claremont allows us to make mistakes provided we show the capability of learning the ramifications of said mistakes in an environment where we can foster our talents."
  14. From poking around the palette that the two were using for cover was 6x6x6 and entire made up of custom-made rounds for RPG-7 launchers. They're marked with a delivery tag to Islamabad, Pakistan. Wisp estimates that there is around a hundred or so rounds total. If you're talking about improvising an IED or distraction with them, tell me and I'll think up some DCs. But Wisp knows enough that if they all went up, it would probably scuttle the boat. There are other palletes, but you would need to make stealh checks tp get nearby and search them. Stealth check would also be needed if you headed for the radio as well.
  15. Had he not been wearing a helment, the gaze he directed at the new arrivals would have cooled the room a degree or two as he activated the external microphone. << You only need to be worried for whoever was last on the duty log for that utility room. >> He threatened icily to the pair before setting down the stepladder in his hands. << Getting a lungful of cleaning chemicals activated the beacons. >> Myrmidon then glanced over his shoulder to his esteraz counterpart and back to the duo before taking off his helmet and leveling a grade A superior officer look at the duo "Do you have any more pressing questions? After all, there is only the small matter of potential intruders to deal with. Or have the two of you volunteered to assist in checking the ducts?"
  16. Whoops, should have specified better. They're not normal thrown grenades, they're Rocket Propelled Grenade (RPG) rounds. Good catch.
  17. The rune casued the clone hero to pause slightly as he finished his search, making sure Blods' mimicry and his was correct. Having all the acouterments that the clone troopers were carrying would only further add to their cover, especially broadcasting and communicating on the correct preset frequencies. Luckily, his check allowed him to overhear the incoming investigative squad. Thinking quickly, he grabbed a nearby stepladder off the wall before closing the door behind him as he strode fowards with intent towards the sound of the weapons being readied. He shot a glance over to his compatriart, and gave her a quick nod as if to say 'I have a plan.' Unfortunately, he did not have time to fix her subvocal microphone to mimic the speech patterns of the clones. Which, with any luck, would not be an issue.
  18. Myr drops his imperceptor armor to make a copy of their armor, while strapping on their blaster pistols, etc. what have you. Standard Action. Morph 5 [shadow Armor] (+25 disguise check) (5 pp) 7/25 pp of Tech Augmentation in use Move Action - Grab a stepladder (assume something of the sort would be in the closet) and go back into the hall, making sure to shut the door behind himself. Can't do anything about Blod's voice not matching at the moment. Hopefully next round.
  19. The helmeted hero scanned the surroundings before returning his attention to his teammate. << At the very least we must disable the ship and contact the authorties. Then it will be a matter of making sure that the perpetrators cannot escape the confines of this ship. >> He pointed at the massive bridge superstructure of the boat. << I will disable the ship if you make your way to the radio shack. Whatever attention you draw you can then use my actions to make your escape. Then we will regroup here. >> Looking at his heads-up-display, he surfed the availiable radio frequencies to see if he could tap into the enemy comm channel. Sucess. << Enemy channel is 118.23 MHz. I am using 112.84 MHz for our frequency. >> Myrmidon placed his hand on his chestplate, and his armor shifted into a heavier, yet more streamlined shape obviously meant for underwater work. Placing a leg over the side, he silently slid over the rail and dropped into the water below with a muffled splash. He treaded water for a few seconds, giving his teamate a thumbs up before disappearing under the waves << Call if you need anything. >>
  20. I'll be away for this weekend, so chances of my posting Friday through Sunday will be slim.
  21. Myrmidon moved with a quiet purpose of efficiency as he silently slid out of a vent behind their two SHADOW officers. He waited to time his strike alongside Blodeuwedds stranglehold, his triangle choke cutting off Officer Flays' blood supply to his brain along with any chance to let loose any sort of verbal warning. He loosened the hold on the officer after he stopped struggling and was pleasantly suprised to see the other SHADOW Officer down. << Take the right corridor. First doorway on the left is a utility closest. We can drop them there and procure their equipment, while checking them for any dead man monitoring switches. >> Myrmidon shifted his grip, letting him easily transport the deadweight of the unconscious clone to the closet.
  22. Mimicking Blod in this: Total Concealment, Skill mastery Stealth Check DC 29 on the other guard. Taking 10 to hit, for a total of 22, With a grapple check of 1d20+17=31 Nonlethal damage at this point. Liked we talked in with chat, Myr will blow a HP to find a convienent 'janitor closet' of some sort to stash the bodies.
  23. GM With the plan in place and the guards informed, the pair of Irregulars instigated their plan. Myrmidon had been correct, the large shape of a superfreighter being visible outside the window. However, it was an unusual configuation with clean lines and barely a hint of rust. Not to mention the fact that it had helipads on it. When their helicopter started to descend, Vicki was able to port the guards into some secure shipping containers on deck, and the pair themselves to a shadowy corner overlooking a loading bay. The helicopters hovered over the loading bay and the forman unhooked the lines with a simple gesture via his ferrokinetic powers, and the helicopters moved in to land on their pads. While this was happening, a group that Wisp guesstimated to be around twenty or more indivudals with assault rifles and grenade lauchers moved into position facing the rear doors of the truck. With the helicopters nown landed with their blades slowing, there was an odd moment of quiet before the foreman moved alongside his troops and ripped the back doors off of the armored trucks with a slashing gesture. The trio of doors flew above the gathered mercs and slammed loudly down on the deck. The mercs raised their rifles to fire only to pause when there were no targets inside the cabs. The foreman looked baffled for a second before yelling and pointing at the three nearest mercs and stomping over to a nearvy telephone and picking it up. Myrmidon was not watching this, as when they had ported to the corner, he had nearly stumbled on something underfoot. He found a set of small wooden crates, which he proceeded to look into. Wisp watched as the three mercs searched the vehicles, not finding what they were looking for. The trio leaned out of the doors and shooked their heads at the foreman, who visibly flinched and continued the conversation on the phone. There was a sharp intake of breath benhind her from Myrmidon, and he wordlessly showed her the content of the box: white-phosphorous hot loaded RPG rounds. The boxed itself was stamped Sanguine Shipping, Inc. The Irregular duos' attention was brought back whith the slamming open of a bulkhead door in the loading bay, and an attractive woman in a expensive business suit walked out flaked by a quartet of heavily armed and armored bodyguards. At claremont, they had been of course shown entries of wanted criminals and the like not only for practice against in the Doom Room but also to make them aware of who they were dealing with. Neither Vivki or John failed to identify the new arrival: the so called 'Contessa of Blood' Regina King, wanted for Arms Traffiking by both UNISON and AEGIS.
  24. John raised an eyebrow at the mention of collecting spoons. "I would be most concerned if I ever had to resort to the use of silverware in self-defense." He said blithely as he performed a quick military-style sword salute with the katana. Seemingly appeased, the blonde took a few more swings to get a gauge of the engagement distance of the weapon. He quickly got a baseline opinion of the weapon. Not as good in close quarters as a knife, but had the reach of a bayonet thrust. The speed felt about the same as butt-stroking an opponent with a rifle. When he returned back to Claremont, John would attempt to make and refine an analogue to practice with outside of the lessons. He would probably modify it further, but he would still practice with the baseline weapon instead of any variants he made.
  25. Myrmidon 10 pp to spend, as well as cashing in some more equipment points from my bronze award for a vehicle. Powers: Increasing Tech Augmentation from Rank 5 to Rank 7 (10 PP). Note: I will not be increasing this anymore since he can comfortably make items that will allow him to meet his caps regularly now. In addition, I will be working on creating a more comprehensive list of his tech augmentations now that I have it where I want it, which will change his configurations. I will submit another character edit when I have a satisfactory number of new examples, and their DCs. Equipment: Purchasing a 33 EP vehicle, which combined with his current equipment reward EP, has him using 10 out of 15 points from his Bronze reward. Minor Edits: Moved his native language to German, which was an long missed oversight on my part. Made the edit to his Languages and added the vehicle, but the ref team is currently taking a closer look at Myrmidon's VP. We'll let you know! ~Gizmo
