    Character Edits

On the subject of the Bloodseeker killing, both of my characters could end up dead at his hands without me really complaining. Granted, only Mongrel Angel would really be in danger of dying in such a confrontation (Exile would be more likely to teleport away, or use it to keep the distance between them while he pounds away with Blasts). Now that I think about it that would be a decent start to an adventure. Mongrel Angel ends up in a fight with Bloodseeker and perishes (likely due to having her wings, and thus means of escape, crippled or bound). While her passing isn't permanent details surrounding it would cause the Watcher to hand Exile an assignment concerning the killer, and whatever means needed to assemble some help in bringing down the bloodthirsty target. Of course its likely that one or more heroes would also be going after the killer, and its not unlikely that the two (or more) groups might clash before or even during any confrontation with The Butcher. Hmm, perhaps I should take this up in Campaign Discussion instead. Now as for Character Edits. I would like to have one rank of Benefit: Wealth added to the Exile's feats; he's actually fairly well off, I just haven't been able to really spare the point till now. Updated by Barnum
  3. Exile can do combat, social, and mystic, but not stealth. Looking over our characters there's only Babd and Ronin who can do anything stealthily, and Babd doesn't strike me as particularly interested in doing this quietly. Luckily our job specifications encourages us to make a considerable mess of everything but the retrieval.
  4. So, is the good Legionnaire going to start the sparring match since he's got the higher initiative? Or are we waiting for word from Markk?
  5. I'm looking to have Exile do a bit of research, more precisely researching the proper ritual for the following power Former Glory [boost] which would require 28 hours of research and a 70 minute ritual to allow Exile to, temporarily, tap into part of the might he used to have.
  6. Got an 8, could be better.
  7. Got a 13, odds are Nightshyft is going to act before me. Should I wait and then post in whatever order of initiative establishes itself, or should I go ahead and state what I'm going to try to accomplish during my round, which might or might not mesh all that well with whatever stuff the others come up with (which given that we're a bunch of strangers probably isn't particularly weird).
  8. She's listing it as a 1pt DrawBack and not a full Flaw.
  9. Got some done and saved, and realized that most of my characters go in for monochrome quite heavily. First up, Exile. Doesn't quite do him justice, though it'll serve. Secondly I went and did Mongrel Angel, though the base model is rather, "flattering", compared to she's actually formed. The splash of colour is there pretty much solely to break up the vastness of the monochrome. And lastly we have Frederick von Eaicher, aka "The Count" (he's really a baron). A character that'll potentially see play around here on the PL 6 level. I could show you his character sheet in case your interested.
  10. One thing I'd include in a "Blood Control" array would be something like this Physiological Overload [Damage, Range: Perception [+2 Extra], Alternate Save: Fortitude [+1 Extra] (4pp/rank) A bit expensive, but would be rather nasty, and appropriate. It's not like a Forcefield or armour plating is going to help when someone's messing about with your internal bodily functions.
  11. Hmm, can't seem to find any save function. Other than that it seems quite good.
  12. Mongrel Angel looks over at the taller, armoured man whom she's been told to spar with. She's got a fair bit of confidence, but from the looks of it her opponent isn't lacking that either so this might turn out to pretty fun. With a slight smile on her lips the winged lass walks over to the indicated ring and waits for her taller opponent to come over as well.
  13. Anyone know where our GM's gone?
  14. I'm here, but since I'm currently somewhat tied up in conversation with Imposter I'm not really in a good position to post until either Collateralkid posts or something drastic, such as an immidiate threat, makes itself known.
  15. Exile sits quiet for a few moments as the details are explained and the freckled one asks his question. Then he has a question of his own. "Given that we know the What and the Where, I would like to know When. An estimate at least on when this merchandise will arrive and how long we will have to act would be useful. We will need to do at least a minimum of reconnaissance, formulate at some basic plan, and probably do something in the way of personal preparation. Oh, and do you have any idea how much these small boxes weigh?"
  16. Sorry it took so long, it's up now at least.
  17. After the good Doktor finished his somewhat lengthy introduction Alex figured she might as well do her own rather much shorter one. Stepping forward a couple of feet she spread her wings slightly so that the others might appreciate how large they are, then folded them up again as she began speaking. "Well, as this I'm called Mongrel Angel, and as should be obvious I'm able to fly. Moreover I'm pretty strong, able to lift over a ton and a half, tough enough to be pretty much immune to small arms fire. Apart from this I can conjure this." The silver haired angel held forth her right arm, the hand of which became enveloped in flames ranging from darkish grey to silver in colour. "These flames are mostly good for smiting foes from afar, but I'm figuring out what else I can do with them. I suppose I might as well mention that I am currently somewhat lacking in general combat experience so I'm not as skilled as I might like."
  18. Ah, sorry. I've had it a bit tough getting proper hold of a comp for the last few days; studies have gotten in the way. I'll have a post up later today, even if it ends up being just a short paragraph or two.
  19. Wilhelm inwardly cursed his luck as he stepped out of apparently thin air a few feet away from the table currently occupied by Yamaguchi and three others. He'd been delayed by a few people seeking an interview for some magazine dedicated to the occult, he'd have to find out how they got wind of the drastic drop in his medication purchases, and now he was actually unsure about whether he was too late or not. As luck would have it appeared that he wasn't too late. "Ah, please excuse my tardiness lady and gentlemen." He says as a takes a seat. ((A bit short on time, this'll have to do for now.))
  20. If no one minds I'll have Exile join in as soon as I can find the time to post properly (i.e later today).
  21. Looking over Legionnaire there's a number of things that get to me, but this being comic book based I can survive them. I'd just like to note that Cassius is truly a mountain of Roman at his height; Julius Ceasar was noted to be tall and striking, at about 5'1' or so. And I finally managed to type out a decent post. Given how Cassius has thus far come across to her I can't see Alex minding doing her best to pound the stuffing out of him sparring.
  22. Mongrel Angel arrives the way one would expect someone with a wingspan over twice their height to do. She drops out of the sky onto the lawn near the main entrance, reasoning that the lawn is easier on her legs than the paved pathway. She'd known of the Freedom League even before coming to this dimension, after it wasn't like she hadn't procured some information about this world before moving in. Not doing so would have comparable to moving somewhere picked by blinded-folded dart throwing at a map of the world, though she wouldn't have end up as wet as such a strategy was likely to get one. After adjusting her wings somewhat so they don't take up too much space she enters through the doors and finds that she's certainly not the first one to arrive. In fact she enters just in time to catch one of the earlier arrivals saying something short and then starting to laugh at the one he said it too. The laughing one is fairly big, clad in armour made from iron or steel, carrying a large shield, a bunch of throwing spears with long weak necks, and a short sword. He's seen fighting this one, but it's rather the one he's laughing at that grabs the silver haired angel's attention and holds it firmly. A brunette, slim, athletic, half a foot taller than herself, and quite simple stunning. Three facts quickly form in Alex's head; that she wanted to get to know this girl better, preferably much better, that it was highly unlikely such a looker would happen to be available, and that there was something going on which might result at least a bit of bruising, a good deal more than that if any of the bruising occurs on the brunette. But as the winged one finally starts to move in from just standing in the doorway she notices that one of the older ones there starts to quickly diffuse the situation. At which point it occurs to her that she's been perhaps overly fixated upon the, in her mind, most visually pleasing person in the room to such an extent she's not really noticed who else is present. For now she resolves to stay silent and check out the others, none of whom she recognizes.
  23. I'll just be adding my voice to the chorus. Happy Birthday.
