"Easter Island? You're a long way from home, Lulu. An organization of two? That's more a team...do you supply your own funding and build your own tech?", he was starting to suspect was more like an almost super hero team than an organization, although when she mentioned an Office next to ASTRO labs he shook his head,"A very close eye indeed, how much time do you spend spying on them?" He raised an eyebrow at her comment on his diplomacy and smirked,"No, not really, but I'm very good at finding out things people don't want me to know without them being aware. How do you travel? The sooner we get to your office the sooner I can start exploring options. It would be most useful if you can tell me where one of their terminals very accurately, that way I can start to investigate their system while we travel towards them...would that work for you?"

Delta took the scanner, smiling again, it wasn't like he had to hold her scanner to use it but if he was going to maximize his processing power to dig through the database that was built into his head and constantly fed by the internet on Earth-Prime and so when he looked at the scanner the heads up display highlighted and explained all the various readings narrowing things down until at last he stopped and shook his head,"You've got one of your people causing problems. ASTRO labs? They are open rifts....there at least four and a half dimensions involved up to a 13 if not more. I'd suggest we investigate sooner rather than later. That kind of power will develop into a problem if left alone. Do you have a team or is it just you?" Again he looked her over, this time using his radar to scan her to make sure she was all she claimed to be and not something else.

Delta paused, looking at her carefully and frowned,"Saying I understand directly is a perhaps a little generous towards my abilities. That said I have a wide range of information downloaded into my memory that I can interface with, using that and a number of high powered processing tools I can make sense of most anything. That said I'm not sure humanity is ready to have access to Dark Fusion, see what happened to the Terminus?" Sighing he shook his head,"I can look at the signatures, I can look at the Data readings but till I am sure of the motivations of you and your organization I will not explain Dark Fusion and how it works to you....is that fair?"

A small smile curled Delta's lips as he listened to her talk, a PhD?, the humans had all these names for things that didn't matter but this was amusing since it was unlikely she'd understand the sciences of Terminus but that would remain to be seen. Her melodrama made his smile disappear,"It's not melodrama if I've seen portals open for less....and if they get out of control it could be terrible. Not to mention that you don't want the Terminus to have anyway to access, or locate your world easily." Or himself, the Doctor didn't need to know where he was, his eyes whirred open wide as she mentioned dissection, even in an attempt to comfort him and his tone was hard when he spoke again,"Yes, it wouldn't be the first time I was dissected. I know that I use Dark Fusion to create Nilhus Energy, that is used to power my teleportation belt. Something my entire squad carries, and with the proper programing, something that is not easy it can be used to cross dimensions but it drains a lot of energy....where are you picking up these readings is there a pattern?"

Delta had been watching multiple Football games, using the seconds between plays to analyze the various rules, regulations and plays that he had found online. It was a strange gladiatorial sport with unusual rules but it was strangely appealing to his warrior mentality with very obvious tactical implications. All of this was on his Heads up Display invisible to all but for a glowing flicker in front of his mechanical eyes that said he could watch them after the visitor was done. His eyes whirred lightly as the apatures adjusted size as he scanned 'LuLu', searching his data bases for information regarding her, her name and her organization, in the split second that took he forced a smile,"Strange readings? What kind of readings? And can I see some kind of identification?" He doubted she would have gotten into the Freedom leauge's building without appropriate ID but more information always helped him as his data bases added to themselves. "Please come in, and ask your questions.", he let her into the spartan room with nothing but a cot to lay on, a seat with a small desk and bare walls.
  9. Still cloaked Delta frowned as the situation developed and information poured in from his sensors and the mouths of the guards and those asking questions. Looking in at the robots that slid into view, frowning he reached out with his internal computer he scanned the machine and then tried to enter it electronically to look at it's code. Could the special robots have dome something to the fish?
  10. Delta was trying not to let his nervousness show but clearly Steve was aware of what was going on in his head, he gave him a long look before letting out a breath he wasn't sure he had been holding and shook his head. Stepping thought the door he couldn't help the glance he gave the Omegadrone over his shoulder, and it wasn't a glance for support it was a suspicious one as though he was aware of the advantage the Drone's position gave him. Instincts died hard and it was only once they were walking inside the building that he relaxed slightly. Looking down at the LED arrows he frowned, again almost invisible with only the lower part of his face actually moving before he started walking towards the Elevator bay, his military style boots seeming to make little noise as he stepped with powerful strides, his mechanical fingers flexing as he walked betraying the nervousness he felt at what was about to happen.

  12. Delta's eyes whirred as they focused on the glowing woman and then he shook his head and muttered,"Ms. Bright...." This was too much coincidence he had worked with one hero before all of this and it happened to be the one flying overhead? He watched her teleport around a little before teleporting one last time, rubbing his chest as he did so, the teleporter on his belt was drawing power from him because of how often he had used it but he had to get through a little more before he was done and the person with the bag over their head needed his help....a little warmth wasn't going to slow him down. A crackle of light and he appeared next to Ms Bright,"Hello, again, what brings us together this time?" As he spoke he reached down to his belt, without more direction he was going to release his scouting drones to look for the van, he didn't have time to wait someone's life was in danger.
  13. Quick question are there any corpses of the other fish visible? How easy is it to see through the red water? And did my radio scan pick up bodies at the bottom if you can't see through it with infravision/ultravision or normal vision?
  14. Her facial features moved very rapidly as she thought and he wasn't skilled enough to understand what was going on in her head but he nodded at her choice of name,"Ms Bright...very good. Super hero then with the secrets?" He nodded at her suggestion, realizing that he would have to share his information if they were to work together,"Yes, I believe that someone is going to be selling Terminus Artifacts in this building. Those cannot fall into the wrong hands. I was about to send my scout drones out to analyze the buildings and the opponents so I could strike them from a position of surprise and stealth. What kind of tactics do you normally use and would you object to my drones scouting out the building first?"
  15. Delta paused, his aperture covers widening out to almost half their maximum size as he analyzed Steve's features as he spoke about her, there was a moment where he considered asking if Steve was then an impartial judge of the woman's characters and motivations? That said he was in this too deep to worry about this, he was still surprised how many people simply trusted him because he said he was here to fight against the Terminus forces. Finally they came to a stop and Delta stepped out, his black and red armor and cybernetics creaking as he stepped from the car, before stopping and asking Steve,"Do you have a map or will she find me?" It was not like he would be easy to stop with all of his metal parts and distinctive coloring that Dr Duster said was to strike fear into his opponents.
  16. Unaware, or unwilling to acknowledge, Steve's embarrassment Delta nodded,"It is most strange, they only seem to have extremes on this world. The vast majority have little no idea how to utilize the network around them in any but the least basic ways and then there are some who are so far ahead of the norm that they rival the greatest minds of Terminus." And yes being in large part computer, or machine, left them vulnerable to the kinds of attacks that very few flesh and blood beings had to deal with. Following Steve's look he watched the people whirling around outside the vehicle doing the little things that were important to them, important to keeping them unaware of the dangers that surrounded them, and sometimes stalked them. The last question brought him up short and he frowned, again a little hard to tell with only the lower part of his face to give it away,"Yes...why do you trust this engineer to work on you? I am as familiar as any with people poking and modifying me before my freedom....what is there that is in this woman that makes you believe she won't try to take this freedom, such as it is, away?"
  17. Delta paused, trying to determine if Steve was using sarcasm,"I don't think my grasp of Earth-Prime culture has anything to do with the reverse definition search, coupled with a rapid search of sites that reference the word. I have something resembling a computer in my head, it allows me to process information very rapidly when I focus on that." Delta nodded at his words,"So far I am mostly self repairing, but modifications and explanations of how some of the things inside me actually work might make my growth easier. And anything that harms the Terminus and the forces of Omnicide is good for me..." He didn't mention his personal crusade, he'd love to rescue his squad mates, but the thoughts of going into the Terminus to rescue mind control soldiers was not something many would consider sanity.
  18. Delta was annoyed with the newest in his eyes spectacular mechanical failures but just as he was getting annoyed there seemed to be a purpose to the 'gremlin' that was something unusual! Frowning he analyzed the data rapidly and moved before he could even think about it, with a map of the city transposed on the heads up display in front of his eyes he moved. A flash of light surrounded him for just a moment as he teleported to the first intersection, he could run pretty quick but the battle teleporter was even faster at 700 feet per jump....sadly it wasn't designed for it and tended to get a little warm but tonight he was going to be using it to cook on if it meant he got to the highway in time. Flash, flash, flash the terminus born super hero wanna be flickered through the streets of the Southside, from roof top to roof top and then from corner to corner as he closed on the highway as fast as his bag of tricks could manage.
  19. Delta was content to watch the fish and scan the surroundings, his radio scanner sent out waves received by the various implants on, in and under his skin to give him an accurate picture of the room and the occupants there in even the smallest like the fish. There was one anomaly, an anomaly that rapidly revealed itself to be some kind of superhero...or maybe a villain...in a red and green costume. Delta's eyes swiveled, without his head moving, to focus on the fish, the apertures closing like a chameleons eye as he focused on the fish before widening as they scanned the room again. For now he chose to remain under his cloaking field, willing to see where the red and green boy was going to go with this investigation and who else would climb out of the woodwork...he believed that was the expression? It seemed in Freedom City that many people were willing to risk life and limb to save others, and it was a conundrum to him, so many individuals with powers beyond normal many of which could be used for both good and ill...and ill was what he was used to seeing so he always was a little more cautious.
  20. Delta spent a lot of time nodding, his default when he was listening but had no desire to guide a conversation any further than it was already, he knew the uncomfortable parts would come and lo and behold there they were. Agreeing to hear out the older Terminus' escapees suggestion he raised a hand and rubbed his chin thoughtfully, a small part of his mechanical brain analyzing the words and coming up with a reverse definition he didn't like,"A safe word? Like in the humans procreation games they play involving removal of some consent without actually doing it?" He nodded and frowned some more,"I shall consider a word that is suitable but first she will need to explain the Analysis and what she hopes to learn? I have spent enough time under scrutiny and the knife to know what to expect and be a little hesitant about it."
  21. And Delta is the same, he's never played with anyone in this game.
  22. It was still almost impossible for Delta to accept that the hulking Omegadrone sitting at the back seat was not going to attack him, and more so that an expert on Terminus technology who wasn't insane wasn't actually a trap by the 'good' Doctor. He raised one of his black mechanical hands and opened the door before sliding in next to Harrier, seldom had there been so much death enclosed in such a small space an Omegadrone and one of the attempts to improve on them sitting in the back seat of a self driving car the irony was lost on Delta as the door closed. The diodes on the side of his head flashed green and then read as he processed the question,"They are going well, currently processing millions of things called...memes, they are not what I thought they were originally and provide much insight into the human construct of humor." He understood very few of them, because they all seemed to be connected to movies and tv shows that he had to download and process....he was making inroad on Netflix but still had the looming specter of Hulu and Amazon Prime to defeat as well....so much time and effort spent on entertainment, how had the Terminus not won?
  23. Chromium sighed at the sarcasm that Rev levelled at Dom, and then frowned, was it sarcasm? Shaking his head he ran a silver palm across his face before looking around,"What ever, if he comes with at least we are there to try and help him. I'd like to check out the pits where she normally hangs out first, if that fails we can try a fake race or whatever. Did any of you manage to scan her or anything super hero like to learn anything more about her when she vanished?" He glanced over at Raven and frowned,"And you seem to know a lot about her, anything else she is capable of? Vanishing, shooting a bow accurately enough to hit a car driving at high speeds?"
  24. The accent gave Delta pause, his processors whirring as they determined where it was from but his eyes returned to the fist he had seen glowing just a few moments ago,"Sneaking? Not quiet, I'm working....and I don't have glowing fists so I'm going to assume you are working too? I thought you were a homeless person getting in the way. Seems like that is not the case? That's a really solid disguise." She really was well disguised, even up close with his search program highlighting things that she was carrying and scanning her it was still categorizing her as homeless,"I am Delta. I'm here to investigate the strange things going on in here.....who are you?"
  25. Oh good, angsty teenage answers, just the kind of thing that Chromium needed in his life, because he was so much more simple and easy to understand. He listened to her warning about the Hammer of Justice and nodded,"I hear you....no playing with the Hammer of Justice. Gotcha." To be honest he wasn't really interested in getting into superhero fights if he could avoid it, he preferred the fights slanted very much in his favor,"I promise I'll run away as fast as I can...didn't realize you cared that much." Ahh teenage bonding at it's finest, shaking his head at his own sarcasm he did his best at apologize, if it could even be called that,"You can probably ignore about half the stuff I say, it's mostly me trying to keep people at arms length. Apparently that's normal for people my age...."
