  1. He nodded,"The college, ha, my dad would be so proud I actually made it into a college...even if it is through the roof." There was more than a hint of bitterness both in the mention of his father and the mention of getting into college. Snickering he shook his head at her,"You can keep the chemical toilets to yourself. I don't do the normal thing anymore. I just add mass, and more mass, and more mass." Moving to a window or something similar he looked down at the ground below and shrugged,"I can climb down walls if I need to, as long as they can support my weight." Tilting his head he chuckled,"I'm the fat kid of the group, I'll eat everything and weigh more than all of you combined." Snickering again he looked back at Wadjet and let out a slow sigh,"Well, suppose we couldn't be rich and comfortable superheros in Bedlam, only the criminals get that kind of luxury. So what brought you into the superhero gig?"
  2. The black long sleeved hoodie he was wearing, covering his bulbous eyes and the diodes that flashed on his head, was working well only the strong chin with it's darker skin really showing. As long as he kept his hands in his pockets and didn't pull any of his tricks out of his belt he was likely to be fine but as the time wore on he knew that more and more people would start paying attention to the guy who never removed the hood, even in the darkest of exhibits no matter what the internal temperature. His irritation and general surliness increased as his wariness grew, he was a soldier, although the honor implied in that name was stained somewhat by his past service, but the patience of grueling hours waiting for a target to arrive and the sudden action after had left him well prepared even if his 'trigger' got a little twitchy as more and more people crowded in. Then the rumors started to flow and people started to be ushered out, a small smile creasing his lips. Was this it? Was this the moment his contact was waiting for? Perhaps it was, perhaps they were hiding in the now closed exhibit it's one surefire way to ensure privacy? Enforced by the police themselves. Sighing he slipped back into the shadows of an exhibit and as soon as he was out of sight of the majority of people he reached to his belt and activated his cloaking device. Soon that corner was home to nothing but a black, long sleeved hoodie neatly folded. Delta, under the cover of his cloaking device slipped through the throngs heading towards the closed off section in search of his contact....or anything else that would be suspicious.
  3. Chromium chuckled slightly and nodded,"They have a big silver guy in Egypt?" He listened to the rules and smirked slightly,"So we're kind of Robin Hooding it here? I've lived in Bedlam most of my life...I know how it works." He frowned and shrugged his shoulders as he thought about it more,"And is this like 'Fight Club' we don't talk about it or tell people about it? What is this building by the way?"
  4. Chromium grinned at Wadjet's words,"Well you know I brought the house down the last time we met?" Her tone had given her away and he was a little surprised she was a girl, not that it mattered but she certainly didn't show in her costume. He snickered at her territorial comments and nodded,"I'll mind my P's and Q's don't you worry!" He looked at her with a raised eyebrow as she went over where everything was and then frowned again and pointed in the direction Nicole went,"Was that Nightingale? Or is that another girl?" He considered what her words meant about Lady Horus and Nightingale and chuckled, clearly not bothered by that idea. Scratching his chin he looked around the bare bones room and chuckled,"Well, it's about as good as what I've had so far." Dumping his back pack, and the coat he frowned,"So what exactly am I joining? A cult? A team? Or something else?"
  5. Black Mamba sighed and nodded to her,"I'll cover, just make it quick." He kept his sensors tuned making sure he was still paying attention to what was going on. He was still not pleased, there was something going on and he wasn't hapy about this kind of thing. Guard duty didn't suit him at all, he was an action man. In the mean time Akhona was scanning the various frequencies available to her and the rat copter as she scanned for any kind of trouble.
  6. In that case I'm happy with Delta/Mamba in the monster game as well if that works.
  7. Sounds good, sign Delta up He can be following a lead about the Terminus Technology that is apparently being sold around town...totally stealing from a thread I'm in with Tiffany. This can be a precursor LOL
  8. I have the same problem as EP, my PL 7 is Bedlam bound....and while a trip to the Aquarium would be cool for Black Mamba he's in enough right now. You think we might be able to figure out a reason that Delta would be at the Aquarium? suspiciously investigating things? Or maybe just throwing a sulk?
  9. Mamba froze as the woman spoke, his battle senses hummed something was up, or maybe it was too long in this old tin can waiting. With a raised eyebrow she couldn't see Black Mamba's scanner slid over her as he used the eye that the fates had left him to look her over, something was up and he was fairly sure there wasn't anyone in this messed up building that he would actually trust. Crossing his black and gold metal arms he asked,"Really? A security guard who needs to pee? And there are no restrooms close to your station and you don't have a partner? They cutting back on costs for security in this building they seemed pretty set on beefing up security not cutting back?" Over the connection to Akhona he broadcast silently++Something up, I got a guard who suddenly needs to pee...seems a little off. Distraction? Bad infiltration attempt?++
  10. And going to do a bit of suspcious staring in a moment at the red head Sense Motive 30...a natural 20, lol Notice 15...my helmet on a bit tight?
  11. Chromium was not found of flying, speed was another thing, but if you weighed over a 1000lbs you'd be unhappy about being hoisted above the earth as well. He didn't look around too much, and was glad when his feet were touching the ground again. As soon as he was on the ground he stood very, very still and looked at the floor below him trying to figure out what it was made of as it creaked ever so slightly under his weight. Looking up at the two girls he frowned, looking between the two of them and the things they were working with. Frowning again he looked at the floor again,"Hey...I'm Chromium....and what is this floor made of? Just before I move and break something...." He had never seen Wadjet out of her costume so wasn't even sure she was present, although the fact that the Egyptian lady had said she was taking him to her abode made him think she was here but you could never be too careful.
  12. John and Akhona were walking through, Akhona busy looking at some particularly atrocious looking painting and John looking around seemingly bored when he spotted Àjàṣorò. He blinked, stopped and then breathed, she didn't know what he looked like out of his armor although he had met her when she had faked being a member of the Freedom league. Leaning in he whispered to Akhona,"That girl, she's dakani, she is the current White Lion....or Lioness." Akhona didn't move, she was so much better at this kind of thing. Moving slowly she turned to link arms with John, moving him on to the next exhibit and giving her a clear look at Àjàṣorò,"I see...the family resemblance is strong." Akhona's own blood was from that of the Red Hyena and she couldn't help the little amount of spite that crept into her next words,"I wonder what made her worthy of the mantle so young?" John gave her a look and she gave a little sniff and became very interested in the next exhibit. John looked back at the group of girls again, trying to figure out who the others were but that was hard enough with one eye never mind access to the suit he wore that was for now stored in the backpack he was carrying, his wife was amazing with nanotechnology.
  13. His scout bots had barely started and he stopped them and recalled them, some strangely dressed homeless person was approaching the warehouse....which was annoying, he had to clear them away from the danger before he started his intended surgical strike, it was too easy to pin an accident on someone who looked like he did. Red and black scout robots slipped into the compartment on his belt before his mechanical hands slipped to another device on his belt. Simply touching it was enough for the computer implanted in his head to give exact coordinates from the scan his bots had done and he shimmered and vanished. Close to where Agnes was moving Delta appeared, in the shadows but the brief flash of light at his departure point leaked through just a little lighting up his corner of the darkness around the warehouse for a fraction of a second. Spotting the homeless person he was about to speak when her fist lit up, it was definitely a female, and he decided to be a little more...subtle? He cleared his throat, loud enough she would hear and an unmistakable sound of someone trying to attract attention. His memory banks whirred as he tried to come up with something else to attract her attention in a way that wouldn't result in friendly fire and the processors came up with something non-threatening. "Psst"

  15. Corinne was not the only one with passes, and certainly not the only one with interest in Dakani art. On the contrary, Akhona Ross was Dakani and as such she had brought along John Ross her husband to look at the Dakani art. They were both dressed exquisitly, her in her traditional garb and he in a more typical tuxedo one that was clearly uncomfortable for the scarred, one eyed man. He was tugging at the collar as he kept trying to arrange himself so he kept all the people on the side of his face where his working eye was and he was always looking around uncomfortably before tugging at the collar again. Akhona flowed along the ground, age added dignity and she had plenty of it as she looked at the various pieces talking to her husband in fluent Dakani about the various exhibits that he showed little to no interest in, unless they were weapons of course, sadly there were precious few of those.
  16. There was a moment of confusion on Chromium's face, then understanding as she said Wadjet's name and then a frown. Such an easy to read face, the weapons flowed back into hands as he looked at the crowds who were reacting pretty normally to superheros facing off running and screaming. Shaking his head he looked at the flying demigod, still not sure about this as he gathered up his clothing again and sighed,"How am I going to ride you?" If he was mortal he would have blushed the moment those words came out of his mouth, but as a man of metal he didn't change color so easily which didn't stop his tone from sounding embarrassed,"What I mean is you don't have a way to transport me without carrying me....so what's the plan?"
  17. Okay, so Akhona can't see through the radio lined rooms so she can't help. I'm kind of waiting on Venomax to move into the room....is that a good idea or should I try something else like getting Black Mamba up there?
  18. Chromium shook his head, this made no sense at all,"No, she didn't say that. She said he escaped because his car moved by itself, she said she didn't want to kill him not that she didn't try." The big silver man frowned, his hand rising to run over his silver chin,"Something is off, she's gone to great lengths to let us know she did it. Which can either mean she's doing it against her will...or she wants us to think that. Either way she's right, we need to find her." Glancing at Dom he said,"Let's get him to safety and then find out where she is hiding...I feel like we're going to be lead a merry little chase."
  19. Chromium was already turning at the vibration, and all but fell over as he stumbled to get away from the glowing Egyptian woman who suddenly appeared before him, stepping back he growled his fist rising and seeming to melt as they formed into two large weapons, crackling with golden energy the one looked like a massive sword with his arm where the hilt would be and the other resembled a large single bladed axe with a hook at the back and the start of a hilt as he threw back his coat letting it drift off exposing his silver skin. It wasn't too look impressive but to save the few bits of clothing that were still intact as he faced the woman who he had heard about, but certainly had little to know interest in till now,"What? Who are you? I'm not going with you! Not without a fight and I don't go down easy!"
  20. Overlays flashed in front of the bulbous mechanical eyes that were Delta's 'gift' from his creator, the part of his brain that was left sent messages to the flesh in his body and it was converted to electrical impulses as metal and flesh met, combined and his black metal fingers uncurled reaching down to tap his belt. Diodes on the metal parts of his skull flashed as he shifted on the small stone ledge he was perched on, watching the warehouse that he had traced the Terminus artifacts to. Terminus Artifacts....he was a Terminus artifact, a frown creased the flesh of his lower head, yes he was and he wasn't going to let any of them get into the wrong hands and shift the balance of power in the wrong direction, or even worse draw the attention of his creator to this place...that would be bad. Black metal fingers flicked at another button on the belt around his waist and several black and red orbs launched from one of the compartments on his armor to hover in front of his face. Lights flickering between his cybernetic eyes and the robotic scout bots as they synced up so he could process the images they were going to send him. Then with a shimmer they vanished from site, heading out to scout out the area. Soon he would know what was going on here and how he could deal with it. Planning was everything, more diodes flashed as the computerized part of his brain moved into high gear, maximum processing power was needed to digest the masses of images the bots would be sending him as he searched the area.
  21. Chromium was draped in his high collar trench coat and a fedora hat as he walked around looking conspicuous by his clothing choice but it hid the silver skin that marked him as more than human. He looked fairly untroubled, his silver eyes looking around for any problems even as his hands clenched and unclenched in his pockets. He really wanted to do this, but there was a part of him that figured this was too good to be true, someone willing to pay for his boarding? Feed him? And teach him stuff, this was a win for him and he needed a win. He'd never admit it but it had not been the smartest things to leave Aegis and go out on his own, and he wasn't convinced they didn't have something to do with this but he is certainly going to be working to prove that he was good enough to be on his own and stand alone one day.
  22. Chromium frowned, his big silver arms crossing as he shook his head,"Let's go check the pits anyway? She may be over confident, then we can work on setting traps...and other races." He looked at the other superheros and frowns again,"Why though, what's got her killing racers? Environmentalists would be making more noise about killings...don't you think?"
  23. Thanks for the heads up, I'll add him when I get a chance! And grungy street works great...with science!
  24. Tiff, I think Bee and Delta might be fun to play together but I'm open to any of my characters playing with either of them if you have a particular idea that suits one of them.
