Never Was (OOC)

Okay, with Baz clearing his daze there are other things to deal with.

 

First, on count 30, more threats appear, as a Moon-Moth Drone teleports down with 8 other Praetorians (all turned to Communion Drones). I will add them to the initiative order as needed (many will be engaging the Freedom League). But, will give everyone another HP for the added threats.

 

Star Knight moves over near Rot to assist her, taking down several of the insect drones and otherwise drawing the attention of the others.

 

Two more insect drones join the one that survived Blue Bolt's attack and they chase her, but all miss

 

Lawrence is going to power stunt off his main array, looking to reverse time and undo Paradigm being converted to a Communion Drone:

 

Transform 13 (3 pt per rank (Communion drone to original state); Extras: Permanent (+2); Alt Save: Will (0); Flaw: Touch Range) [52/58 PP]

 

He will then move over to Paradigm (who he needs only a 6 to hit currently): hitting 

DC 23 Will save vs the transform: the Paradigm Drone fails with a 15!

 

As she transforms back to her normal state, I will have her throw off Michael and Parker (but no HP for this, as not a set back)

Okay, can Vueriz set the

Stun 8 (Nervebuzzer; Extras: Area [Burst]; Feats: Ricochet, Thrown 1, Triggered 2; Flaws: Unreliable [5 Uses]; Drawbacks: Full Power) [19PP]

 

To go off once she is clear, then move by action swoop through where Baz is, dropping the Nervebuzzer and spending a HP to take an extra standard action to grab Baz before continuing on as far towards Lawrence as she can get?

Inspire 3 on: Blue Bolt, Torpedo Lass II, Sever, Spaceman, and Timeout.

 

drops my HP to 2.

 

EDIT: to clarify, that's +3 to Attacks, Saving Throws you make, and skill checks for the round, until my turn comes back up again.

Time to buy Lawrence some time, then!

 

Gonna drop Parker's stunt and switch Space Movement Array to Flight, then fly straight for the big bad not!Time Trapper, which, as I've been informed on discord, has barrier around that Parker's senses can feel is there. And then I'm gonna punch it.

 

It's stationary, so no attack roll, so gonna do a full Power Attack, for a DC30 Toughness save.

 

1PP dropped from the Super-Strength boost means I'm at +7.5 Super-Strength ranks, so +7 boost.

Paradigm will fly up and unleash a shockwave into the air, catching 4 of the needle fighters: DC 25 Reflex save: only one makes it (and avoids with Evasion). Three have DC 30 toughness saves: 27, 16, 22

 

She also catches about a dozen of the insect drones in the shockwave: only 1 makes its reflex save, the other 11 blasted out of the sky. 

 

@The Sailor TL2 is up! Currently there are two drones near her, Sever, Dadealus, Velocity and Johnny Rocket

Okay, time for Lawrence to burn some more HP. He will stunt the following power:

 

Transform 10 (3 pt per rank (Communion drone to original state); Extras: Permanent (+2), Targeted Burst Area (50ft up to 1250ft), Selective, Alt Save: Will (0); Flaws: Distracting, Full Round action; Feats: Accurate, Progression 4 (x25 area burst); Indirect 3) [58/58]

 

He will take the +3 Inspire from Michael and power attack (-2/+2) for  +12 effect with +7 to hit.

 

16 on the attack roll, so will use a HP to reroll: 24

 

So, that will trigger a lot of DC 22 Will Saves.

Well, at x25 speed not quite sure that turns a full-round action into a free action, but that is sort of academic here, as she can make the check and still have an action to start working on the plan.

 

So, brainstorming with Rocket, here is what Vueritz has come up with: She thinks she can jury-rig her Meson Driver to take and focus Baz's radiation (boosted by Michael) and focus that into a beam that might pierce the barrier around the entity after Parker and Lawrence weaken it with the combination of their space/time manipulation powers.


That should take down the barrier, at least momentarily, and give the other heroes a chance to try to focus on the entity.


She figures it will take about three rounds to make the adjustments (starting this round). DC 35 Craft: Mechanical check (no taking 10 or 20).

Sure, let's do that. so that's a Stun 8? So should I just go ahead and make a ranged attack roll to chuck them around? Presumably flying towards a big group of them and tossing
