  1. Damn it I knew it was to good to be true . I'll take the bonus on Bluff, that probably the most important to her.
  2. The crimson strike fuzzed and splattered around the aura of light that always surrounded Young Britannia which grew in brightness until the crimson colour was enveloped by the pure white light of the young hero. She continued to float there appearing totally unharmed by the attack. Agnes allowed herself a quick smile, but reminded herself how lucky she was the attack hadn’t hurt her. “Looks like the righteous isn’t on your side today. Maybe you should go away and have a little chat with him or even her?â€
  3. My Toughness roll 1d20+10=29 . Wowo survived by the skin of my teeth.
  4. “If you can dance the Charleston, then it’s a date.†Her smile faded and she looked thoughtful for a minute. “The King and Queen have kindly provided.†She held up a piece of paper “But until then it wouldn’t hurt to get the feel of the thing. Okay I’ll let you lend me a dress, but for my pride let me at least offer you pay you back.†She tapped the sunglasses she was wearing. “But I’m afraid these have to stay, I have sensitive eyes.†She looked him over and grinned. “Beside I recon you’d look good in tights.â€
  5. Damn despite his laid back attitude he had a sharp mind, she’d had to be more careful. Lucy was still trying to get a handle on the whole secret idea. She’d never thought about wearing a mask in her early tussles, she just got involved without thinking of the consequences. “I bought it cheap a long time ago, it’s kind of a good luck charm.†she tugged at the jacket “Beside I think it flatters my figure.†She fixed him a puzzled look “Beside aren’t I suppose to be the one offering to pay. What with you being the struggling student and me the responsible adult?â€
  6. “Wow you’ve really got a lot of bile to spit out. Whoever you’ve been talking to he ain’t exactly answering at the moment.†The white light began to build up around her; her hair flowed out behind her as if blown by an invisible wind. “Maybe you should give it a rest and leave us all alone.†The light flickered a moment before she thrust her arms forwards causing a massive burst of light to flow towards Zealot. The blast of concentrated light flowed around the armoured figure. “Before someone gets hurt.â€
  7. Focused Blast 1d20+9=12, Ouch. Damn it I'll burn my second Hero Point for a reroll. 1d20+9=23 much better That a DC 20 Toughness save for Zealot.
  8. Lucy turned round from chatting with the owner of the stall. “They say my suit isn’t retro enough. She says it doesn’t look 1920’s enough. Shows what they know. Sorry what?†She paused to catch up with his side of the conversations. “Oh no this is my first. They didn’t have anything like this when I was growing up. And I’ve only recently come back from being out of the States.†She gave a sly little smile “But it’s a nice day, with pretty scenery, happy people and of cause good company. What’s not to love?â€
  9. I'm going full defensive while I give Nora a change to monologue, I mean tell me whats going on. If necessary, and possible, I'll interpose if she's going towards Steven.
  10. Picking herself up Lucy looked at the Nora, she was angry at her for some reason. She had some many questions, so much she wanted to know. So why not ask? She took up a defensive stance making sure she was between Nora and Stevens. “Look I’m not here to hurt you, I just want answers. I want to know who you are and what you’ve got to do with me.†She gave Nora her best friendly non-threatening look. “I’m willing, as long as there are certain assurances, to just leave you be. No one needs to get hurt here Nora.â€
  11. “Lady Lucy Harker at your service sir. Though you may call me My Lady.†She gave a small laugh “Well okay just Lucy will do.†Lucy leaned in conspiratory and gave a mock whisper “If I turn out to be a bit of an Aunt Lizzie, or I’m cramping your style, you can just leave. I won’t be offended. I'm sure you'd rather be with your friends.†She gave a broad smile and waved towards Brain and Morgan “But I have two knights who will defend my honor…†She offered her arm to the young man. “Let’s go see if we can rustle you up some appropriate clothing.â€
  12. Yeah if only I had those things . I'm going to use a hero point to gain Beginner's Luck, could technically use my power but the whole changing part might tip him off. So that gives me an effective +7 for Diplomacy and Bluff and +6 for Sense Motive. Bluff : 1d20+7=23 Diplomacy : 1d20+7=15 Sense Motive : 1d20+6=25
  13. She had been worried that like Freedom City she wouldn’t be able to find decent curry in this version of London. Actually she been craving curry more since the change, she guess it had something to do with it being Britain’s favourite dish. Looking at his face she tried to pitch the level of friendliest as she lightly took his hand. “It’s a pleasure Mr Trowel. I’m so sorry I’ve been away for a while, I been a little under the weather.†She hoped the blank he was filling in would cover for any differences in her voice.
  14. With Bloody Nora in sight Lucy didn’t have time to enjoy the victory, her first most important task was to separate Nora from poor Steve and allow him to escape. She carried on moving. “Well Nora I’m sorry to say that I’m disappointed I thought you’d be smarter.†She glanced at the frightened Steve “When you can run, as far and fast as you can I’ll take care of Bloody Nora.†With a final kick off she launched herself at Bloody Nora, all of that momentum transferring into the blow, colliding with a satisfied crunch.
  15. I'm going to carry on the moment and do a Rush on Nora. That would be a staright opposed strenght check. I roll a 1d20+8+1=19, if I beat Nora she get pushed back.
  16. The street looked like every Victorian street scene she ever seen, well apart from the few steam cars which chugged along the streets. And of cause the Airships lazily floating across the sky, but then what parallel world would be complete without Airships? She considered a wander down towards the Thames to see if the river was as bad as she had read about during the Victorian age. A river in name only that resembled more unfortunate brown slurry, defiantly not something you’d want to swim down. She considered just changing and flying around the city, enough of the city would be similar enough she could navigate it quite comfortably. But thought better of it, you didn’t want to face Madam Redpowder withering stare if she ruined her makeup job. Instead she looked at the carefully written notes of Mr Peabody of the suitors who had requested to dine with Ada Wheatley, who look interesting enough to take luncheon with…
  17. “I said the 1920 not the Middle Ages.†Lucy gave a knowing smile; she looked at the numbers written on the page “Though in my time telephone numbers were a lot shorter.†Still if there was any problems she was sure that the operator would help her put. “And thank you again; I’m sorry I had to burden you with this, but I don’t think I can ever thank you for this help.†Lucy looked thought full for a minute then gave a big broad smile. “To be honest I’ve been a bit lost for the last few days trying to work out what to do with myself. But thanks to you I think I know exactly what I need to do.â€
  18. The moment she heard the grating Lucy sprang into action, spotting the descending gate she braced herself and caught the gate before it could fall any further. It might be the damp wet conditions but the gate didn’t seem to give her to much difficulty. She them locked her arms holding the gate in its current position, unless the Worm had any more surprises in store for this gate she should be able to hold it all days. “I’m fine at the moment, but I suggest we move. The twins might be in more trouble than we are.†She gave a move gesture with her head, her arms being full at the moment.
  19. k, Going to use my mighty strength to hold the gate 1d20+8+1=25,I'm guessing that'll do.
  20. It was probably bad manner among heroes to laugh at the foolish antics of their opponents. But she couldn’t help but smile at the comedy reactions to her blinding attack. But for now there was a more important foe to pay attention to. The light from everything going on allowed her to get a good look at this new opponent. She didn’t like what she could see, best to take him down as quickly as possible. She loosened off a quick burst of light at her opponent but the burst shot wide. Not a good start to impress your allies.
  21. Low level blast to start : 1d20+5=6, oops a miss. You wern't in a hurry to take him were you .
  22. Despite everything she couldn’t help but smile at the young man’s confidence, but then again that’s young men all over even in her time. At little too well built and tanned for her tastes but a charmer nether the less. And it would be nice to spend the day in someone elses company. “Why sir you do me an honor.†She gave a little mock bow “Maybe you could protect me from all the other less kindly sires who may try to gain my favors?†She gave her a wry smile. “And thanks for the offer of the suntan lotion, but I don’t really need it. I don’t tan easily.†she smiled at her own private joke “And I defiantly don’t burn in the sunlight.â€
  23. What looked like a simple robbery seemed to have taken a slightly bizarre turn with the arrival of some kind of babbling madman. And a super powered on at that. She had to end this as quickly as possible, before things really got out of hand. She concentrated and drew on the power she had within, concentrating she draw on the inner light within her, focusing it drawing it out until. “Okay this is going to be bright everyone close your eyes.†She released her power into a blinding white burst of light.
  24. K, Gonnas spend a hero point and stunt a Dazzle Attack : Dazzle 4 ( Extra: Area (Burst), Selective Attack) - Blinding burst of light. Everyone ou to 20ft, except my allies, need to make a Reflex save v DC 14 or be blinded.
  25. Standing in line Lucy was enjoying the sight and sound. As she watched a bus rumbled by with a few face she thought she’d recognized, of cause most of the people she’d met all wore mask so there was no way that she could be totally sure. She then listened intently as the “King and Queen“ of the fair declared her as the Lady of the joust. She bent low in her best curtsey. “Your majesties do me the greatest of honors.†She scanned to boy chosen to be her champions, she smiled at the thought she could probably beat then in a fight. Still she was going to enjoy being princess for the day.
