  1. "Kay, yeah, lets go." Carrie followed behind with a nod and headed towards the back. Small clinics generally looked the same, small room, little chart, bed slash examination table covered in paper. She sat on the bed straightened up, and immediately started a coughing fit. Her throat was raspy with the effort, and she tried to cover her mouth to catch it. Her which she had tried to wipe clean ran freely as she coughed and she sniffed as she turned her head so it wouldn't drip on her clothes, "Do you have a tissue?"
  2. 12:21 AM Carrie couldn't remember the last time she was sick, there was a good reason for that, clearly her memory had blocked out such a horrid experience. Her nose was running, her throat was sore from coughing, and her head was pounding. She couldn't sleep at all, not that she'd usually be asleep at this time, but she'd freaking tried, and so now here she was, pulling into the building known optimistically as the Fens Free Clinic. She said optimistic because you had to be plenty optimistic to run anything like a government funded building in the Fens. Still, it was convinent her willingness to go to a hospital was, lacking. She still had dreams about that other place. The smaller, more homely building was a welcome alternative. Really she might of self medicated, but she wasn't sure if this was a cold, or something worse and honestly it'd been a while since she was sick she wasn't one to tell the difference. That and her sister wouldn't answer her phone again. Walking to the pretty much abandoned building which had the the little sign that said 24 hours, she pushed the door open and walked into the reception area, well okay she hobbled. Her hand on her forehead as she moved to the desk and looked for the sheet to sign in.
  3. I gave her like 1 rank, then she like, bought up medical supplies, cause no healing factor.
  4. Right, I'm next, rolling Medicine, cause well, agent archetypes don't COME with that 24, Btw, for point of plot, as part of masterwork medical tools, I'm gonna say Jasmine has a mini defibulator (or AED) cause I can't think of reason why she wouldn't.
  5. January 5th 2:34 PM The front of Claremont was a very large gate. Past that gate was a large manicured lawn, and past that, was a big, square building, which was where the car had dropped Georgia off. Really the whole area looked less like a high school and more like the colleges in the pictures on the pamplets in the guidance counselor's office. She'd spent a lot of time in there the last few months. The public school she went too previously wasn't too reluctant to let her go, but they did talk to her a lot about the transfer paperwork involved. In fact, she was under the impression they wanted her to go, that it was a great opportunity and that she would get the best they could offer and they'd only heard good things about this school. Not that it mattered to them that she'd be leaving behind all her friends to go to this great opportunity, or that she suspected, couldn't confirm, but heavily suspected they might of been getting some reimbusement for some of the accidental breaking of things around the school. She could only guess really, it wasn't like the school hated her, more like they didn't notice her, which was pretty evident that she was rarely reported absent from her more streniously boring classes. Walking up to the gate, she realized something that hadn't occurred to her, that probably wouldn't be the case here. Whatever the consequences were, it likely wouldn't be as easy to fade enough into the background to get enough comfortable apathy that her old city school had. They'd straight out told her she'd be getting special classes to deal with her new thing. Looking at her hand she stared at it for a few seconds before absently moving it through her luggage and grabbing a brush she'd tucked into the inner pocket. Yep, still weird as hell. Especially since she could put it back just as easily. After that she picked up the trunk and put it on her shoulder like it was a duffle bag. Maybe she'd be more self concious about it if she wasn't, well she didn't know. She was essentually standing in front of the real world equivalent of Hogwarts, though she severly doubted she'd have to sit under a sorting hat. Looking at the square building she shrugged and walked forward. It was Sunday, but they were supposedly expecting her so she could start school for the new semester the next day. She didn't exactly know what to expect, Georgia (the state, not herself, she knew she'd get ribbed for that, but it was really not that big a thing), wasn't really a superhero central, not as much as this area at least. Well, maybe they'd try to be somewhat normal, but honestly, she'd left normal behind a while ago.
  6. Jasmine took a moment to unload and click her sniper rifle into position. Not that she cared that it might of looked strange to anybody watching since gun laws were MUCH stricter in the UK then the states. She really didn't have time for that though. Since she was the only one armed currently with a long range weapon it didn't take much convincing for them to let her get to the window for a shot, though they were skeptical of her ability to do so at such a trying angle. Tilting the gun over the window ledge she tried to angle into the combat high above. It was a difficult angle to say the least with so many people tangled in. She couldn't really use her snare without it likely getting on Young Britianna. So instead she opted for something that she could make more centralized and aimed towards the face region. Mind you, that did make it a much smaller target and as she lined up the shot she had a lot of things that could go wrong. As it turned out, the wind was a little high because of the altitude so the paintball flew a bit long over the head of the bird like person gripping Young Britianna as it was caught in an updraft. As she started sorting through her things, she stopped and started to make some calculations so that she could make a better attempt at her next shot.
  7. That's fine, shifting will do that, though I guess I could of rolled for assessment for her to figure that out, I guess she shot first because she was in a hurry.
  8. Though not quite fast enough to stop her she supposed. Carrie had something of an unfair advantage to the average working man, mainly that as burly as they were, as likely to get into nightly fights and cavernous brawls, they simply were not used to being attacked by someone they couldn't see. No, sneakiness was beyond them, so the quick hits she gave to each Luddite from just behind their backs, they were rather bulky compared to her, so she didn't even need to shift was enough startling and hard enough to have them buckling and falling to their knees before they registered what was happening. The last one few in the line had a sense to try and turn around to find the source, but Carrie sidestepped them and delivered a knocking out blow before moving to the last one. In the end, it was just her left, standing behind the last crumpling man. In her trousers and hat pulled over her eyes she stepped over the last body and walked towards Pennyworth, her voice set at a lower pitch them normal, "Evening govener," Looking down she put a foot under to look at the face of the nearest one, "Pretty big blokes these lots, must of been pretty sloshed to fall over like they did, though you don't seem to be looking too straight yourself." She held out her hand in a friendly gesture, "Why don't we find you a cab then? No need to go wandering around this time of night, might run into trouble."
  9. Jasmine's range is 500 ft for any of her bullets as long as she isn't using an area effect (meaning she's using her sniper rifle as opposed to her pistols), she's using a fortitude drain (nerve gas. She's shifting the stun by five, so 20. If that hit's, that's a DC 20 Fortitude check against fortitude drain.
  10. Character Name: Georgia Montgomery Power Level: 7(105/109) Trade-Offs: -1 Attack / +1 Damage, +2 Defense / -2 Toughness Unspent Power Points: 3 Progress To Bronze Status: 3/30 In Brief: Teenage Density Shifter Alternate Identity: G-Force Identity: Secret Birthplace: Atlanta, Georgia Occupation: Student Affiliations: Claremont Family: Peter (Younger Brother), Wendy (Mom), Frank (Divorced Dad), Debbie (Mom's current partner) Description: Age: 16 (Born September 18th) Apparent Age: 16 Gender: Female Ethnicity: African American Height:5'5 Weight: Varies, usually 132 Eyes: Brown Hair: Brown and Auburn Streaked Her hair's naturally curly but she kills it with a straight iron. It goes past her shoulders and has streaks of auburn dyed into it. She's a bit on the heavy side (hehe), but doesn't really give a damn. She's not a big fan of make up, and usually wears pretty covering clothing. She likes to dress in layers, usually with pants or solid colored tights under skirts or shorter jackets. Her face is rounded as are her eyes, and she has a median brown complexion. She likes colorful outfits, and will paint her nails to match (she used to wear fake nails, but those aren't really practical for punching). Power Descriptions: Georgia can, control her density, and the density of whatever or whoever she touches, as long as she's touching them. Offensively, she can become stronger, and much, much heavier, or defensively, she can become unable to touch. She can make things and people more fragile by making them less dense as well, or she can just ignore them and walk through them. She can make herself lighter, and propel herself through the air by jumping, she could make herself lighter than air, but that's really hard to control (because she could be blown away). History: Sometimes weird things happen. It happens more in some places more then others. Georgia's life was a little bit abnormal, her dad grew up in Freedom City and got married to her mother almost immediately after high school. They moved to the Atlanta area for his work (he became a systems analyst for a major computer company in that area) while her mother worked as a florist. Eventually problems started to pop up and her parents got divorced when she was seven, and eventually they both found new partners. In her mothers case it was a personal trainer she'd met at the gym, which wasn't that strange except it was a woman named Debra Patrid. They were together for about three years before they decided through the help of artificial insimination to have another child, Georgia's younger brother when she was 11. It wasn't exactly a standard family, but it wasn't the weirdest thing to happen by far. After attending a concert with a date something happened when someone tried to mug them. Her date gentlemanly as he was, pushed her behind him to try and protect her. She wanted to run away, wanted them both too, but she clung to his shirt from behind as he tried to talk down the mugger since neither of them had any cash. When the gun came out and fired something strange happened. They hit the shirt, and shattered. The mugger was speechless, as was her date, and herself until he ran the hell off because of the attention the gunshots had gotten. They were brought into the police station after the mugger was caught, interrogated, had all the evidence confiscated (including the shirt, which her date asked if he could have back later, dubbing it his now lucky shirt). The next couple weeks, were kind of weird after that. Accidents happened, scales were broken, things were dropped through hands that couldn't seem to hold things. Eventually her and her family were contacted by Claremont when one of the more public accidents (involving a trip down a wheelchair ramp that created something of a crater in said ramp) offering their services to help her learn about her ability. Personality & Motivation: Georgia is a friendly talkative girl. She likes finding clothes, playing games and being with friends. What she hates is most of all is feeling helpless. The mugging highlighted this especially for her. Even if he hadn't been hurt, her (now boyfriend) was shot and she'd just hid behind him. Even if she might of done something, it was mostly just a fluke on her part. If she could do something to prevent that, then she'll do it. She may not be nessicarily the violent type, but she doesn't want to just be a spectator if she can do something about it. Powers & Tactics: Georgia won't try to hurt people if she doesn't have too. If she has too, then she'll do it, but she's more a shield then a sword most of the time. She'll take the bullet, or maybe make a shield out of something and make it denser so it can do it instead. She'll also move through walls to look ahead or do search and rescue. She's not that great in a fight yet, but she's pretty good at taking the hit. Complications: Secret Identity: Her family knows, but that's about it. Away From Family And Friends: There all back in Georgia Don't Let Go: All attributes of her powers affecting other things are all only active as long as she's touching them, if she lets go, the power goes away immediately. Boyfriend At Home: It's kind of hard to break up with someone who took a bullet for you. Flincher: Even if she can take a hit, the fact that a fist and bullets coming towards you is pretty unnerving. 11. More like, she can probably punch someone, but using a knife isn't really something she's good at. Also, accurate attack is just a reflection that she can change how dense her unarmed attack is. And you know, dodge focus just means she's easier to hit if caught off guard, especially since she doesn't have uncanny dodge.
  12. Right, dropping Philotherian and Changeling cause I'm doing absolutely nothing with them. So new character, density shifter, teenager new to her powers. I'm starting at PL 7 cause, I like building up instead of having tons of points I don't know what to do with. My characters are generally power light, skill heavy, so I'm doing the reverse this time, at least to start. Anyway, notes and stuff. 13. Well Jasmine would see them unless that trucks got heat cloaking. I kind of want to ask SC to help establish iniative.
  14. Alright, question, how many people are there, how many of them are criminals or suspected criminals, how many of them are armed, and how many of them are within say a 25 foot diameter of Jasmine?
  15. Medicine roll 24 Does infrared count?
  16. "I doubt spandex would be appropriate for this anyway. Anyway, just going to get some stuff from my car." After jogging to the front Jasmine got her phone, and all her stuff from her locker then headed out to the parking garage. It only took a second to locate the rental car she'd gotten to pop the trunk. From it she pulled out a large case that carried her sniper rifle, as well as the smaller one that had the dual pistols. They weren't put together like they usually were, but then, she hadn't expected to get them out quite so soon. There were here for a paintball competition that dates coincided with her decided staying, not, well what she used them for far more frequently, but she still had her ammo as well. She scanned the parking garage and waited to see any sign of Dee and Young Britannia.
  17. Well, she'd have her main offensive device, she isn't going full costume, since well, she doesn't have it. She came to visit, not to stay, why would she bring a full hazmat suit wit her. It's likely in her van, which is also back in Freedom.
  18. Right, wait for them to go in, then taking ten to stealth, that's thirty (she's not changing form, she's just attack all of them from behind), and taking ten to attack, DC 27 damage.
  19. Total? I mean, are they in a circle, semi circle, how far appart is each pair?
  20. "And I need my locker key and access to my rental car." Jasmine piped in. "Could you guys meet me in the parking lot, I have some supplies I'd rather not be without. All for the interest of effiency, and the simple fact I'd rather not be a damsel as well." She looked at Cruxberry, "If that's alright for your lockdown, I'd rather like to have my phone and such."
  21. 20, tie I guess, something tie breaks, I'm pretty sure Carrie has more of it. Carrie won't attack them in the streets unless they actually close in, but she will get closer to Pennyworth, about five feet, taking ten on stealth, that's 30.
  22. I take ten with skill mastery, that's 30, so lets say, 10 feet away. Edit: Notice Roll 25
