"Are you neurologist? Have you done any particular studies to prove this theory of yours? I'm all ears professor, what sample size did you use? Did you account for variables like social ranking and level of education? Did you hold tests about additions of new knowledge than test retention? What proof do you have that the women mind is inferior professor DeRoberts, I'm sure a scientist would approach this in a logical and practical proceedure before making such a claim." She looked at the putty, "I don't deny I wouldn't be able to create this, but I'm not a chemist Dr DeRobert, and you're a brilliant chemist but you're brain is no more superior for it, it's focused well educated and specialized but I'm quite capable of several things you are not in a specific focus even if I'm not capable of creating this. Now if you are controlling people that is a large moral implications since it is considered forced coerian and can be thought of as assault."

"You act like he's going to get away after the first time," Jasmine raised an eyebrow as she looked at him, "We didn't know it was him the first time, we had not time to prepare. But if he comes out we'll have adiquite supplies for a proper snatch and grab. Also, we won't have to stop to perform emergency medicine." She paused and turned, "By the way, I think that's something you should have your troubleshooters have on hand, someone who's actually qualified to do some field medicine. That's not what my doctorates in." Tapping on the screen for the results, "Anyway, we can set up a proper plan with several contigencies since we have time now, we can choose the location, set supplies, create choke points, and nuetralize him with much less trouble." She glanced up, "Plus this time, I can bring my van."

"One, I'm an industrial chemist, not a bio-chemist, two you brought me over here because you needed a fresh pair of eyes and someone to stop you from being kidnapped, three, and this is the important part, why do we have to MAKE him excrete a pheremone we could just synthesize and spread over a certain location. If we need a biological host we can use test animals, no need to infect Osprey and make him the magnet specifically." Taking the blood she moved it over to the machine to be tested, "Blackpool, let's try to be professional about this. I concede to your expertise in your own field, but we do not need to use human subjects for simple chemistry, even if it's not specifically my field I know that much."

Carrie looked at him, "When in the world did I attack your creations." She shrugged her shoulders, "When did I say you were any less smart, you can be a genius, you can be excellent at your field, but what difference does it make if Harriet is excellent at hers?" She walked past him looking at the window. "This is impressive, lots and lots of uses for this, but why does that discount Harriet's creations? Harriet isn't a chemist, she likely couldn't of made this, so what's the point in looking down on her? It's not like you could of made the Brit Machine, it's not your field, not your specialty, no one can be good at everything, no one should be good at everything. If she happens to get more attention right now, it's only because of the expectations that she'll fail simply because she's female." She paused, and glanced at the putty over her shoulders. "If you guys just stopped and treated her like an equal, wouldn't that just mean everyone would get the exact same amount of credit regardless of their gender and not gain more or less because oh my gosh, a women made this, so it must have more attention."

Silhouette was there, not that anybody noticed, which was as it should be. In fact she was right there in the front, almost directly behind the podium, though only by a few feet. A couple curtains were there, but she was set off to the side so her broad side faced directly into the curtain. Under exceptionally close scrutiny, someone could perhaps figure out she was standing there, or they could walk into her, which she generally avoided as it would give them rather nasty cuts. But she was exactly where she needed to be, a shadow on the wall for Mr. Walsh. She didn't particularly care about what he had to say, politics were something that didn't interest her, but she couldn't reject a clear invitation if there was a chance there was a threat on his life. Goodness knows he's had some excitement in the past. She was surprised she was asked at all really, it wasn't that she wouldn't be competient at it, after all, if she figured to make a living, she could of be a spectacular body guard because of her well tuned sense of paranoia, it's just that she was as much of a ghost in the superhero community as she was to the villains. It was curious who might of suggested, though honestly she suspected it was Amir, if only because he was the only person she knew who was wealthy enough and likely enough to name drop her as such. Still, she was here, and she was as close as she really could be to Walsh during the speech. Hopefully it would be exceptionally boring and uneventful.

"Really now, are you saying she faked her inventions?" Carrie glanced over at him, "That she fooled the society into thinking that they worked, that she doesn't have hand drawn, signed blueprints of said inventions, patents for their production, and hasn't had several of the higher scientists watch and evaluate her work?" Walking over to her she looked him in the eyes, her face blank, "That would be quite a trick, to think that she somehow seduced the laws of physics to bend to her mechanisms, and wiled her trackers and long distance mechanisms into working in very unusual circumstances." Tucking her hair behind her ear she looked at his chemical things, "I guess it'd be easier to swallow as a specialist in a different field. You don't understand it, so clearly it must not be true, especially if it was invented by a woman."

"Yes, but you can keep the headgear if you wish. We're just running tests on you untransformed for the moment. You know, standard stuff. Though I guess it's been a while since you've been to a normal hospital, we aren't deviating from the standard for today." Adjusting her glasses she looked at the charts, "Anyway, we just have to make sure everything is healthy. Normal's a bit far fetched at this point. If anything or anyone makes you uncomfortable, just say so." Raising her pen, "You can of course use the bathroom as well, since you may be a bit more shy of the people monitoring the security camera's then Captain Rose."

"Yes, I would imagine you are." Carrie took a step from the guide and moved around the work area examining experiments but not touching them. "Toiling toiling, lots of work to be done. Lots of things to do, lots of money to do it with. Or maybe," She turned and raised a glance at him, "Not so much?" Her voice pitched a little high with sympathy. Picking up something that looked fairly standard in either dimension as harmless she turned it in her hand, "Politics, politics, so many here I'm sure. Favored departments, better funding. Ms. Wells a friend of mine had some trouble with that early on, before more of her accomplishments became known." Turning her head to the guide she said very politely, "Thank you very much for showing me here, but I would like to talk to Dr. DeRombert privately."

"It is." Georgia added as she floated down into step beside them playing with her phone, "No reception though. Oh well," Pocketing the phone she kept in step as they were led away, "So we sharing rooms for this or are we gonna get our own space for the weekend?" It wasn't that much of a concern, she wouldn't mind terribly either way, given she'd be bunking with Mali if that were the case and she didn't know much about the girl other then she looked seven kinds of fit. But maybe that was a thing here. Lord knew Georgia looked pudgy next to any of the upperclassmen. The phys ed program was described as intense in the brochure.

Jasmine isn't going to bash Blackpool, she's just going to threaten him. She probably has it in writing that if he tries to do something unkosher she has full rights to detain him in whatever means she sees fit.

"We aren't perfecting anything," Jasmine said it with a swift finalness in her tone as she paced around the medical bay. She wasn't a medical person, she had one class under her belt, and one or two instances of practical application, but she wasn't trained in it. She was however a science person, specifically a chemical science one, and such she had searched and restructured the entire bay from head to toe to meet all specialized safety procedures. She had been offered help, but she didn't let anybody without certified training even touch anything in the lab, not the equipment, certainly not the vials of medicine. Anything that was out of stock, or out of date had been safely discarded and replaced. Anything that was not in a charted place was reorganized by professional lab standards. All surfaces were scrubbed clean of any dust or other residue, all cabinets inspected and replaced if fallen out of disrepair, and all the machines were tested and run through rounds to make sure they would work properly in any emergency situation. Basically the entire bay had been made up like new, and Jasmine walked around it with a certain familiarity in the thick white lab coat as she held the chart made up from the last proper physical Osprey had been given both, before and after administration, "We are running baseline tests to determine the physical and mental stability of both subjects. If remaining traces of the formula are set in their systems we will flush them if possible then look at available mental and physical therapies to help transition any damage that has been caused." Looking from the files towards Eileen Rose, "I'm glad you were able to join us today Captain, but I will have to ask for the tests that you change out of your military fatigues." She walked towards a cabinet and leaned down. Opening it up she grabbed from a pile a sterile changing robe and handed it too her, "You can do so in the restroom which I have searched and confirmed there are in fact, no cameras in. I'll be in charge of checking you for any abnormalities that may of surfaced since the last time you were examined because of the Osprey formula. Blackpool as the expert will be advising me, and will not do any unnessicary testing or injections of any kind. Otherwise I have been told I am perfectly allowed to glue him to the floor in the other room until testing is over."

Anyway, this is the second time I've taken a character from a comic book comic as opposed to a tv show, in this case he's based on Windstar. This is the high flier, this isn't paragon, this is someone who's ONLY power is flight. They aren't super strong, super tough, they're a bit above strong. But they can fly, and they can fly FAST. They have a pair of nifty goggles to get rid of the wind or the dust in his eye and dazzle to ears as well. They're more accurate then strong, and they're really tough to hit. This is just someone who's great for high speed travel.

"Well better call ahead then, and probably leave the crowd," She gestured at the onlookers and took a few steps behind the curtain as she pressed the button on the medal to call up Harriet. "Hey, Harriet, are you at the Royal Society today?" She listened quietly for a second before replying, "Well is some bloke named DeRombert there today?" She paused and pulled out a watch, "Well, I have a vested interest in meeting him, and yeah, it has to to do with them again. No you don't have to go get him, just tell me if he's there, we'll be there in like, twenty or so." She clicked the com off, before walking over to Ned, "If you would be so kind gentlemen, I would love if you could bring him along. You can keep him in the car, but I'd like to speak to this Frenchmen myself to start at least." She looked at Joe, "You wouldn't mind watching them would you? I doubt they'd put a toe out of place with you around."
