  1. Rot Consuelo watches with no small amount of frustration as Eclipse uses her own powers against her friends. A dark will comes over her. "Hahaha haha!" Ripples of darkness coil around Rot and waves of menace and corruption roll through the theater as she laughs the power mimic down. "You pathetic little attempt at a copy." Even her voice sounds strange and distorted. "You lack the will to wield my power, coward - watch!" The dark aura surrounding Rot intensifies as she streaks towards the battered dragon. Come on, Suelo - if you want to knock the heart out of Eclipse, you gotta make this hit count! She connects with Draco like a comet of annihilation, and, much as the meteorite of old did to the dinosaurs upon striking off the coast of the Yucatan peninsula, nothing alive of Sentry Draco's energy dragon is left when the impact explosion of shadows dissipates.
  2. @RocketLord any interest in combining Spaceman's and Rot's powers to "decrease the distance" between all/many of the drones and have Rot target them all with disintegration? @Thevshi, any chance of something like that working?
  3. Same for Rot too, would she be immune to Eclipse's damage and drain? Over all, it seems to me like the idea of Eclipse's powers "not" being Rot's powers creates more problems than it solves.
  4. Another question. If Eclipse's powers are "not" Rot's powers, would she be immune to Rot's damage and drain, or immune to her own? Being immune to both would seem to clash with the concept of Eclipse's powers "not" being Rot's powers.
  5. Hmm, I guess Rot should surge and attack the dragon too. Never mind about that move action. She'll charge the dragon and all out attack with Poof! And then use a hero point to recover. To hit: 18 That's a rank 13 Toughness Drain and rank 13 damage if that hits.
  6. Alright, how about Rot will use her standard action to use her distract feat on Eclipse, using Intimidate and skill mastery to give Eclipse a DC 25 check with the highest of her Intimidate, Sense Motive, or Willpower bonuses or be Dazed for one round. Then Rot will use her movement action to get next to what's left of the dragon.
  7. Just checking that the dragonflies are penetrating Impervious toughness for Spaceman and Rot. Assuming that's true, vs DC 19, Rot rolls a 20 vs DC 21, she gets a 31
  8. Nodding to Carmen, Consuelo floats towards the door. "Jeez, okay, okay." The man La Puma Negra is holding up is clearly terrified. "It's this thing. I don't know if it's technically illegal . . . But it ain't right. Some machine. It's supposed to get into people's heads. Alien technology. They're building it in the next room. The aliens." Reaching the door, Consuelo cracks it open and peeks inside. She stays there for a little while, then quietly shuts the door and hovers back to Carmen. "Holy freaking cow, yo. Um, there's like, uh, all these guys in lab coats with, uh . . . squid faces. And they're working on this huge machine. And there's like, one guy - one, uh, human guy - in a suit. He's like angry and talking on the phone. And, this is weird, but, on this side of the door, we can't hear anything, but when I stick my head through the doorway it's, like, really noisy."
  9. That will do it. Guard is already totally pliant. I'll have Rot make a Stealth check with the stats she started this thread with. Lucky roll! 20 means she is not noticed as she peeks in the door. I'll post soon.
  10. So, I know folks haven't rolled yet, but I just thought I would prefunk on Consuelo’s next turn a little . . . . So, Rot has the "reversible" feat on the power Eclipse copied and used. Can Rot reverse the effects Eclipse caused? Would it still be a free action? Would she have to make a power check? What if she spent a hero point?
  11. Nice. I was trying to use the word active the same way you did, Thevshi, to indicate the ones that weren't paralyzed, but no worries.
  12. Rot Consuelo holds her head at a bit of an angle as the silver slivers start penetrating the city-scape. "Sure, I'll play this game in co-op mode. I mean, like, killing someone based on their appearance is petty much the definition of evil, but I'm pretty sure all of this is just an illusion or something, so . . . " Consuelo squints her eyes with effort as black shadows billow out around her and snake towards three of the androids. One robot manages to leap out of the way in time, but the other two disintegrate nicely. "Buyah! Double-kill!"
  13. Okay, Rot will target as many active ones as she can with 40 5x5x5 contiguous cubes with her Scour power, so DC 18 Reflex for half vs rank 8 Toughness Drain and damage
  14. Rot: (10 IC player posts) + (3 GM posts x 2) = 16 Posts = 2 PP Bolt from the Blue (0) Dragon's Hoard (3) Family Matters (GM) (1) IC (0) Laws of Repulsion (1) Never Was (4) Night Shift (GM) (2) IC (0) Sound of an Eclipse (2) Students Squared (0) The Study Group (0)
  15. Rot Consuelo had met plenty of people like Winifred before. Yeah, of course she thinks it's my "bad attitude" that's creating the problem, not a genetic condition. Blame the victim. Because she has a business, she thinks she knows everything about life. She looks at Winifred's wrist as she applies the makeup to hers. It would be so easy to just brush her wrist and let go of my revulsion field - show her just how wrong she is. But . . . then she'd probably turn into a monster, and then I could forget about ever getting makeup. . . . On the other hand, she's so condescending . . . Monster version definitely sounds less annoying . . . Consuelo stifles a laugh when Winifred asks her if there is any "immediate irritation". "No, feels fine. Uh, yeah, there's, like, probably no good reason to go poisoning me, right? Lipstick's probably, like the worst, huh? Cause you're like, always swallowing a little bit of it."
  16. Rot "Well, my good buddy Starshine shouldn't be too hard to spot, because she glows and flies around. She's also wearing a hoodie . . . . Although I guess that is less useful . . . . Oh yeah, she's got this really, like 1950s style auburn hairdo. She likes to wear goggles when she flies around, too." Consuelo flies a bit higher, so she can get another look at the fallen robot mummy. "Um, so, uh . . . Not that I'm not curious where the rest of us are, but, Lawrence, if your bedtime stories included an explanation of, you know, why this giant robot mummy was even here in the first place, it would probably, like, do me good to hear it."
  17. "You'll hear from my lawyer, sir!" The director of the Albright Institute looks as though he might actually pass a cinder block as Consuelo makes her declaration. "Just kidding! I actually don't know how to even contact my lawyer . . . Wait, is it really my lawyer? . . . Well never mind. But seriously, you should like see about getting that weird issue fixed. Like, not everyone is gonna be a understanding as me and Bernie." Happy to bring a satisfactory end to a strange day, the weary director bids the students farewell, and the beleaguered vice principal taxis them back to campus, thus bringing to a close another strange and wonderful day in the lives of the Magnificent Multi-Girl and the Redoubtable Rot! The End
  18. Rot Consuelo makes a tortuous way down the street, suddenly darting this way and that to see if she can catch Quirk hiding behind a hotdog stand or a Buick or something. "Huh. Coast is clear, I guess." Flying up to where Baz, Vueriz, and Velocity have gathered, she cracks her knuckles and puts on a fake John Wayne voice. "Welp, if I can't be bothered to raise a finger to help create jobs for the giant robot mummy builders of America, just exactly what kind of person would that make me, mam?" "Nosir. Way I see it, we've all gotta pitch in, do our part, and git along. Shucks. But I'm no hero. No, the real hero of this group is my good friend, Marty McFly." And Consuelo gestures to Lawrence. "Marty, why don't you come up and meet this very attractive young woman?"
  19. Rot Consuelo watches her roommate score a palpable hit on the giant mummy and it's robotic exoskeleton is revealed in a wash of light. "Nice shooting, Vueriz!" Hmm, hate for that monster to smash my roommate. . . "Oh, it's a robot giant mummy . . . That's totally different, then .. . " Rot grits her teeth and concentrates as dark waves swirl out from her in a snaking pattern towards the lurching, nigh-indestructible behemoth. Her jaw drops wide as the towering brutish goliath nimbly dodges, weaves, and sidesteps to avoid her attack. "Huh. Go figure. I didn't see that coming."
  20. That's definitely better than getting no save, but still a bit clunky. The M&M gimmick of robots and undead having 0 Constitution scores is pretty cute, but I'm not convinced it's worth it from a game design perspective, compared to handling it with descriptors, select immunities and drawbacks or limitations like "can't recover" etc.
  21. So it gets a Reflex check instead of the normal Fortitude check vs drain, or was that a typo?
  22. Rot will use her Scour attack on the giant robot mummy. DC 18 Reflex save for half effects on a rank 8 Toughness Drain and a rank 8 Damage
