  1. Carmen "Puma" The young cat woman pointed towards her ears, signifying that likely she heard what was said to the cat created from Neko's powers. Carmen didn't know wither or not it was a real genuine cat or just some illusion, it sure seemed to smell and sound like it though and she didn't care to ask either way, genuinely expecting it to be some sort of eavesdropping power potentially, "I don't need to really see, I hear you just fine. Not like I'm gonna stop you from running from that aburrida (boring) class," she responds back somewhat uncaring, arms crossed as she looked down the hall. The counselor would likely take a few minutes to get to them. "You got family right, a place away from here?" she spoke, remembering that they had snuck into that unused pool during the summer, this dour mood not what she remembered, "Lots of people I'm told don't have family local here."
  2. Carmen Doing the best that she could with her relatively nonexistent first aid skills, La Puma managed to make sure that most if not all of those that had been previously held hostage by the moon wolfman were alright. It indeed was the heroic thing to do, one that she somewhat wished she had more experience doing as her empathy skills weren't known to be the best. Instead, she wished that she could have accompanied Patriot, to fight the leader that had caused such misery to people that had been likely the kindest that she had met in regard to her appearance outside the church and teachers. So, she was on guard, waiting for Patriot to get back, acting like the last line of defense to make sure these people were alright. "Patriot!" she'd shout out upon seeing her mentors state, bruised and bloodied, but the threat had been taken care of, Carmen rushing to her to help her. There was a partial smile on her face, standing beside her to render any aide she could, even helping her stand if need be. - Carmen had never met AEGIS before that evening. She hadn't eaten for a decent chunk of the night, sitting on the back of an ambulance with a blanket over her. They didn't seem that bad with how they treated her, and with how many needed help after such an event, it was all good. One of the paramedics even checked her arm, which had already seemingly healed a bit, now only a bruise. Spotting Patriot on the phone, she'd leave the now empty soup thermos to be with her, waiting until she was handed the phone. "I'm... I'm alright, it wasn't that bad, nothing we couldn't handle," she partially gave an exaggerated response. She'd look towards Patriot, seeing her still hurt yet standing so resolute it appeared to her, "Let me call you back. I'll let you all know."
  3. Carmen "Puma" Carmen didn't really care about the dawning issues at hand. She herself had grown up poor and knew very little of wealth that maybe some of the other kids at Claremont had. Sure, it impacted her life and she considered herself a little jealous of others that obviously likely had more, but she didn't make much of a fuss nor cared too much. She had more daunting things to worry about, liking dealing with school life and whatever occurred during an outing with the Patriot, her mentor. It also helped that she wasn't really paying much attention. Only enough to see Wilona storm out of the room due to a comment from Leon. He seemed to want to dig his grave in this ordeal, not that she could help the paper boy. The young cat woman would stand up, and raise her hand, "Teacher, can I please be allowed to talk to Wilona, to make sure she is alright?" Carmen would ask politely and calmly. Hawke, who seemed to know that Carmen was in part genuine in this action to help and also possibly get out of a group discussion she didn't want to be into would relent, allowing her to leave the room and check on the upset fellow teen, if only to keep an until a counselor came. Leaving the room, the young woman would close the door behind her, spotting her fellow classmate, "Teacher let me out to watch you," she'd tell Wilona, Carmen picking a spot to lean up against a wall across the hall from her.
  4. The young woman seemed to brighten up after the comment. It wasn't much but it sure boosted her morale and confidence that the two of them could handle this. Puma would watch as she took off her gloves, wondering what exactly she had meant by that later comment before watching Patriot leave her behind. It was on her now to make sure that all these hostages were cared for sufficiently, and while she didn't really have any professional medical training, she could at the least try to appear friendly and helpful. As well, help out in ways that she could while protecting them. After all, they were just held hostage by moon werewolves, only to now be helped by some strange cat girl, it would be a shock for those that hadn't met her yet. "Daisy, do we have any medical supplies, water, for those that are hurt or need something to drink?" she'd ask politely. If there was someone that would know as the battered and sacred hostages came hurriedly to them, it would be Daisy, someone that worked here. She just hoped that her mentor knew what she was doing.
  5. Carmen "Are you... are you sure this is a good idea. What if he doesn't agree to it all, he is just trying to lie to us?" Carmen asks her rightfully worried. To her at least, these people that had attacked were going to try anything to try and get what they wanted if they were to be using human hostages. Things were already rather intense, not the bigger history of the Moon wolfman that seemed to have it out here for the Human race, or at least their current situation up there. It was just one more thing that she was going to have to learn, to get used to not get caught off guard. She'd whisper back, "Fine... I'll... I'll watch from right here..." she didn't seem that happy but would keep herself calm, recovering from the wound that she received. "Good luck."
  6. Carmen Grimacing from being bit by the wolf, she'd grab whatever she could to wrap it around where she had been bitten. After that, she helped to gag and bound up the beaten wolfmen from the moon that they had already dealt with before. Carmen was personally unhappy with how things were going, thinking that they wouldn't be trapped in a hostage crisis and instead in a more relaxed setting, one where she could learn more about being a hero. The young woman soon supposed that this was all part of the job, and as pangs of pain went through her, ignoring it for the time being she wanted it to end soon. "Listen here you mutt. Your gonna take your friends here and go back home. You start harming anyone over there, we'll be harming you. So, pick the smart choice!"
  7. Carmen Carmen would still lock eyes with Neko, the two's little feud still rather ongoing with one another. That stopped for the time being when Jonah sprayed his little bottle, both of them sneezing as they smelled the scent of catnip in the air. Sniffling as she took in the scent, scrounging her nose. "Spray that again, I dare you," she says looking to Jonah like she was about to become the whale from bible story. She rarely came across catnip, and when she did it was not a scent that she liked at all. As it did, it had some of the same effects that normal cats had with the substance, including hallucinatory. Carmen expected that the same went for Neko, judging by how she sneezed.
  8. Carmen Carmen hadn't been paying attention at all to Neko, or anyone really else for that matter as she continued to doodle. She was currently drawing herself, with a defeated Neko, crudely drawn at her feet, standing triumphantly like she was the hero over a defeated villain. Of course, Neko wasn't anything like that, Carmen just being somewhat petty when it came to it. This was even more so when she was doodling up whatever was coming to mind. She had already stated everything that had come to mind for the topic and that was all that she was going to give. She'd rather be in her own little world, or otherwise a pretty bad partner when it came to this sort of group work. It would only be a few seconds after that she actually internalized what Neko had said that she brought up any sort of response. "¿¡Qué dijiste gato tonto!?(What did you say cat!?)" Carmen rebuked, speaking only in Spanish as she did not seem thrilled by the jab towards her, growling and baring her sharp teeth towards the fellow less cat looking girl. The teacher, Mr. Hawke, would quickly stop this rather quickly, giving her a stare to make her back down wordlessly. There would be no more retaliation, going back to looking at least like she was paying attention and only partially doodling away.
  9. Carmen It was clear by now that she was rather bored with the question, both mentally and physically checked out with it that she was ignoring most of the philosophical and ethical conversation about the question. Carmen was just not that kind of person to do so for very long unless she really cared for the subject at hand. In this case she wasn't and so was now doodling in her notebook of those around her. In her mind expressed by the paper, Leon was turned to look like a piece of crumpled paper with a cartoony eyes, Luke a lazy looking dragon over a horde of gold with poor Owain in a knight outfit as a skeleton. Jonah was eaten by an evil looking whale. Several others in the class would also be made into cartoon depictions, at times crudely so. Neko was drawn as a cat stuck in a tree. The you catwoman would even draw up the teacher Mr. Hawke as such, tail waving around idly in her seat as she smiled drawing it. Carmen would draw him exactly as he was, save for his head, which was now a hawk, a literal one drawn in a jokingly anthromorphic way. For her, it was simply better for her to just have fun drawing then dealing with all this group conversation.
  10. Carmen "That's boring, why not just get em good. They aren't going to be coming after you if you make em bleed just a bit. Going after loved ones is so low that any villain or villainess that'd try and do it to me won't be able to walk for weeks. An eye for an eye I'll say," Carmen says. For as much as the young cat woman was raised in a sort of Catholic orphanage, Carmen wasn't too much strayed off the stricter teachings, but she had a tendency for a more increased physicality when it came to solving issues. Wither it was the cat in her or her own mind, it was hard to say with her young mind. Carmen would write down in Spanish first before going back and writing it in English, "No worm gonna stand against getting squashed."
  11. Carmen Carmen was sitting down in her group, wishing that her varsity jacket she always wore at school was larger so that she could hide in it. In Mr. Hawke's class they were assigned to form into groups. Being in a group wasn't that bad, helping her get around some of her more serious emotional hang ups beyond just a few one-on-one's with a very tired counselor. The real issue was that she didn't really have family that she could consider loved ones as she first analyzed the question, trying to figure out what to write and say. In fact, she was chewing rather hard on her pencil, hidden behind the jacket like it was some sort of cover for her. It was only when she thought of the orphanage and all those she knew there, "I'll shred that villainess up and when I'm done, I'll shred her cronies."
  12. After slashing at one of their wolven foes, Puma was greeted with another attempting to attack her, only for Patriot to come in at the last minute to save the day, taking a slash to her attire but bore no damage. Her own attack had knocked out the wolfman from the moon in an easy fashion, but another was soon on her heels as she had foolishly gotten herself in the middle of such a melee. For a brief few moments, Puma could feel the jaws of one of the attackers latch around her left arm, biting in as she cried out. She had been punched and smacked around a few times against criminals and training partners that managed to get a good hit back at Claremont, but not bitten by some wolfman. With a hiss, she'd take her claws and scour them across towards the face of this wolfman attacker. The last one of this so-called pack of them that was up here. A fire was building inside of her, adrenaline filled with pain as she wanted nothing more than to end this terrible situation and make these dogs pay for what they did to her and everyone that she had only just recently met.
  13. 21 So that looks to be a hit if they are minions now. Ill go ahead and post.
  14. 20 Rolled. Looks like she will take a Bruise as well, correct?
  15. Carmen For her own part, Carmen was definitely a bit more cat than girl in this case compared to Neko, and while found herself attracted to a few fellow students she had worked with and passed by in the halls of the school during the break, she held back such emotions, only in a few instances finding herself unable to cope with her emotions. For her it was something that she couldn't really grasp the concept, her mind much like a cat being rather too short termed in terms of attachment. In those periods, it usually involved trips to her room, where a certain pillow that was somewhat sturdy would be the victim to violent clawing attacks. Counselors found that she also did this for when she upset or angry, partial to her cat like nature. "Yes, nice," she says, giving a sheepish smile. Here she was, in a school of heroic youths, attempting to not be the bully the best that she could in this situation.
  16. With team, work all three of them managed to down the wolfman from space before he could cause any sort of harm or injury to them or the hostages that were there. He was running away, but with so many hits, he was down and passed out on the floor soon enough. Puma for her part was still weary, there was bound to be more coming, she could feel it, and soon enough it was proven true just as Patriot recalled the scent of their own kind's blood. Two more were there to attack them. "I'll stop when you surrender!" Puma exclaims as she leapt forward into action. This time she wasn't going to miss her initial attack, coming high with her impressive agility slashing her claws at the space wolfman. She'd protect these people, people that had so far treated her with nothing but kindness, "So take this!"
  17. Alright then, Puma, being brasher, will run out of the room and attack moon wolf #2 with a claw attack, scoring a 23.
  18. Carmen The more cat than girl young woman kept relatively silent as the exchange continued, wanting to ease up on the more hostile nature that she was feeling towards Neko and still reeling from having to apologize for her aggressive outburst before the two showed up. It was still a curious thing that both of them seemed to be constantly walking on nails with each other, even if their contact with one another was rather mild for all things considered. Maybe it was just the nature of cat like behavior that had become just instinctual for them, who exactly knew was questionable. "It's cool," she says crossing her arms tighter, looking rather ice cold as she didn't seem too pleased. She didn't protest and seemed to back off saying anything more.
  19. Carmen That voice again, so snake like that it was near terrifying to hear. She'd hold such fears in for the time being as she tumbled away, having failed in her previous attack to swipe at the wolf man in her leap. Carmen would watch as long jagged teeth nearly bit into Patriot, catching at her jacket instead thankfully. These wolfman were dangerous when they wanted to be, but the combined heroics and strength of the duo seemed more than enough to take one down together as she leapt into action once more. "Hiya!" cried La Puma as she drove in, getting low as if to try and sweep him before attempting to kick both feet up in an upward kick to surprise him with her excellent foot work. She might still be a rookie, but she was definitely getting better at it.
  20. Puma will use an Acrobatic Bluff with a 26 With an Extra Effort, she will then attack with a 17 and become fatigued.
  21. Carmen "No, I'm sorry... you didn't know, it's alright, I didn't mean to," she says realizing how bad that she just sounded like. For her, another friend may have now been likely lost. So much for a good first impression, it appeared like Carmen had once again been far too rough in demonstrating her dislike for being called a cat and likely should have been far nicer and calmer when refuting her loathing for such a horrid description to be called a cat. She was going to say something else, to further apologize when she showed up. It was Neko, alongside Leon as well. What was she going to do now that she was there? It wasn't already hard enough to apologize, now her unseeming mortal enemy was there before them both, likely fully having had overheard what had occurred in some capacity. Carmen wasn't sure exactly what she was going to do, standing her ground as her eyes narrowed at towards both of them and taking a slight step back.
  22. Carmen Puma was beyond confused. It had sounded like there was before they had gotten into the room a whole other person that was there. Before curiosity killed the cat and she was going to ask outright what exactly was going on, another wolfman, bigger than all of them in the room busted in, looking over the scene in a state of confusion. Puma would take the initiative in attacking, leaping forward a top a table before attempting a pouncing slash at him. However, it was far too inaccurate, coming off wilder than it should.
  23. Missed her attack :C. Looks it's Mr. Wolf's turn.
  24. Carmen Watched as he formed some sort of flower in his hand before puffed away into smoke, all the while silently seething. There was one word that she didn't like being used in terms of describing her and he had said it. She'd stop him there, standing still for a few moments with her slitted feline eyes, "Don't you ever again call me a cat, you understand..." she spoke with a slight growl in her voice one of her hands had been kept back by the other, restraining herself as she began to slowly calm herself down, "I'm not any of those things and don't use them to describe me again." She would take a deep breath before letting them continue forward, "I guess it does make sense that you have to work hard to be here."
