  1. 11, rolled a 1. Darn. Evasion 2 so just like Space Furry. 16 on the Fortitude Save but I'll eat it and spend one last HP And a 15, Blah
  2. Her Dex is utterly superhuman and she can reach a top speed close to 30-45mph. When she hits, she is going to hit quick. Of course, for now, she lacks a bit more options.
  3. "You heard her!" La Puma Negra says as she leaps and bounds through the glacier with movement that while still feral in nature, had a trained, almost gymnastic ability. Training at Claremont had done wonders to getting her body not in shape, as she was already stronger than any average human, and far faster than anyone like her. The blessing to the curse that was her life. At least it was with how she perceived it. If it meant mad dashing in to fight some snow spider lady with those powers, she was going to do so with gusto. Just as she looked like she was going to leap up with a kick, but turned more out to be a feint, delaying the action to try and uppercut the most monstrous thing she had ever seen in person in a world of super-heroes and magic. This supposed queen looked utterly terrifying, making what she thought of herself look near meaningless in comparison, "Let em go!" she cries out, slashing forward.
  4. Puma will move forward, performing an Acrobatic Bluff of 21 before performing an Extra Effort to Surge. She will then use a Claw attack with a roll off 27 and use a Hero Point to avoid Fatigue.
  5. A 34 with a Nat 20 Now that's the Initiative Puma is known for ;3
  6. Carmen began to calm down, even ignoring Leon's remark as she took to breathing exercises, speaking to herself in a hushed manner, "Remember what the professor told you in their office. Deep breathes, good thoughts, quick prayers," she'd repeat to herself, forgetting at the moment which teacher would have told her that. The pain was making it a bit more difficult than usual to keep a lid on things, though Leon did make it easier as a piece of paper bound itself over the wound. The cold creeped in still through her suit, but it wasn't anything that she couldn't handle at this point given her furred body. With the rest of the group, the young heroine marched onward, hurried following Eira before spotting something that gave her rather the surprise. A woman like creature, no, a spider creature, the so-called Ice Queen. It explained the ice golems, but the spider creature that was before them as she near repulsed back. This wasn't what she had thought signing up to do for this strange paid internship. Her focus was more on the spider woman creature than Kringle, not knowing the different way of likely saying, though he did look familiar. "If you mean squishing some bug, I'm in."
  7. Puma attempted to dodge out of the way after slashing to pieces the poor ice man but wasn't quick enough as she couldn't get traction on the ice to move quick enough. What followed was a yelp of pain and surprised as a shard of ice fired from sort of rifle would hit her square in the calf, embedding into her flesh. She had taken a cut or two before back home, a girl always had an experience, but the sheer mix of the cold and pain for essentially receiving a stab wound was not something she was used to whatsoever. A mix of emotions would swell inside of her, gritting her teeth as she seethed. If it wasn't Paper, or should she say Leon, taking out the rest of them with a swarm of paper, taking them out in a vortex, she was nearly about to charge in like an animal. "I'm fine," she responds back, taking out the already melting shard as, kneeling down for a few moments to rest. and take in the pain.
  8. 19 Damn. I'll use a Hero Point to reroll to get slightly better at 20. Still going to hurt.
  9. Carmen rolled her eyes, ignoring the flirting between Eira and Leon as felt underneath her feet. She had to put boots on, she hated wearing boots, having had to abandon her nice sandals to these things, just a size too small for her liking. Far too warm where the boots as well for her liking, but she doubted that she would have been comfortable in just the sandals walking on the icy and cold ground below them. A part of her wanted that sort of attention, but another part just saw it as an annoyance, to avoid when she could. Instead, she focused on trying to hear, listening, but the echoing of the cave like complex just made things more difficult for her to discern as suddenly these two golems like creatures appeared brandishing rifles. It appeared as though this was now going to be a far more dangerous affair for them as Leon's paper slapped and bound one as they threatened to stop them. Carmen was pushed back; Puma had taken over as her mind dipped into fighting. Uncharacteristically, she wasn't the first to act, maybe not used to moving with such boots on. No matter, it didn't stop her speeds as she sped towards the two, going after like a feline hunter the one that was incapacitated by bindings. With a snarl like sound she'd bellow, "Don't mind me cutting the ice!" she'd quip out, slashing down at them while were bound.
  10. Puma will attack the bound one with a 23 with her claws.
  11. 18 For Puma. Even with a high initiative can't defeat a low roll. :3
  12. Camren "Puma" "¿Estamos en un cubo de hielo?" spoke to herself as she took the plunge of entering through the strange portal, finding herself in a strange and cold place. This Eira lady was right, her current clothes had been not enough to deal with this kind of weather. Inside this strange glassy place of ice, it was almost a spectacle, stopping to look around herself so she could gaze at such sights. She'd take a look back at the portal, seeing the world that she had stepped out of and wondering if this normal at all, especially where she came from. "Ms. Eira... what world is this?" she asks, wondering if she'd get a potential better explanation instead of the fish out of water that she was now, or the cat out of the bag maybe, whatever that meant. She didn't have boots on, bracing some of the cold and one of the few times she was truly grateful for what she was, "Why aren't you wearing these?"
  13. Carmen "Puma" Having spent some of the small stipend that she was given on grabbing some of her own BBQ at a nearby food truck, Carmen sat down with her two fellow students to enjoy their meal. It was a small thing, simply just enough for a quick lunch, even if compared to Luke who seemed to go through the food like a freight train. Of course, he was like a dragon when it came to it, he essentially was sort of one. She'd respond to Leon, "I thought there was only one world?" shrugging as she finished off her food by downing what was left of her water, the cheaper option. Later, when finished with their lunch, Carmen was getting on with some assistance with her outfit. It was rather warm, too warm at the moment, but she expected that once they were in this supposed other world that existed, it would be easier. It was the one thing at cost with all this fur, one of several if she was honest about it, always having to dress in abnormal ways to adjust for the temperature. This however as a snug warm fit, stuffing the tail down inside as she prepared go through the rather most science fiction looking technology that she had ever seen in her young life.
  14. Carmen "Puma" "What?" Puma was caught off guard at the question about her coat. She assumed rightly so that she was referring to all the fur across her body. She wasn't expecting a question like that, especially with how the weather was here, nice and relatively warmer than what it had been. She was still dressed a bit too much for the summer, but that black coat of hers accommodated for that, "O' yea, sure. It should be fine, I don't get that cold, what do you mean an alternate plan?" Both the human and cattish side of her was curious now, hearing about some different sort of world. Typically speaking, all she knew about was the regular world, the one she inhabited, but this talk wasn't something she had yet in her more heroic oriented classes. She'd thought initially this would all just be weird tests, learning about powers and so on, but exploring some other reality was a jump in a completely different direction. She was now cursing internally that she should have read the waiver more before picking this as her paid internship. The mention of vegetarian burgers made her cringe, the cat side of her personality not that interested in eating vegetables, or what she considered funny enough, fake meat. It was nothing against the food, just her nature, "So when do we leave then?"
  15. Carmen "Puma" While she would have liked to have gotten more money for working outside of school, an internship that paid was close enough. Besides that, she needed to do something when school wasn't entirely in session, with plane travel back to the island at the moment that she would be stuck in the dorms during the summer months, likely alone with only a few other students. It was fortunate then that she saw the poster and was accepted rather quickly into the program without much issue. Carmen didn't really know whom Eira was, the Swedish woman seemingly knowing the Luke and Leon, two that she was familiar with at the least... or didn't make her too overtly annoyed. She was still a little bit surprised that this scientist lady wasn't eyeing her like some sort of specimen, especially since Carmen still hadn't gotten anything to alter her appearance yet while in public. She'd assume that it must be the exposure to so many strange and weird powers that a young catwoman was simply just a drop in a single large hat. She was more casually dressed today, and lacking her typical varsity jacket, wearing an old Puya shirt that she had hand me down, a rock band from Puerto Rico that she listened to from time to time. The skirt was out today, instead jean shorts, fixed and stitched from what was before a plain pair of pants. "Twelve hours, do we get lunch at all, where are we going?" she asks. The details weren't specific in the application that the school counselor helped her fill out. She had taken the approach to ditch the worn tennis shoes today, always at mercy to claws, opting for sandals to compliment a summer apparel that made her look a bit less sheepish. Besides, with summer weather, it was already getting too hot to wear a thick jacket.
  16. Carmen sang, ending on a mixed note as of course she really wasn't that trained at all to sing, less so in English with lyrics that she didn't know. When she finished, she'd actually smile for a few moments before Neko came in from out of nowhere with her own music, likely drunk. It was just like her to try and upstage her, even if she had never tried to do so before or probably meant it, but to Carmen, who was already not on the best terms with Neko. The young catwoman sneered, flicking the bottlecap off a beer with her strength and sharp claw before beginning to drink it, again taking in the taste in a more familiar way. Without much effort, she'd get up onto a somewhat cleaner looking crate that was unoccupied, continuing to drink undaunted with the lingering taste of the cigarette.
  17. Carmen was waiting in utter dismay as she soon realized that she was going to singing, actually singing, something that she was not amused in the slightest to be doing it at all. The young catwoman wasn't really in the know with American music, although some music crept into the sphere of Puerto Rican culture based on the proximity and is connections as a territory of the United States. To her, Bad Bunny was what you heard across the island. As she prepared to sing, there was only a face of constrained anger as her singing was rather... okay. One could say that with practice and teaching it could be better, but it became clear easily that she didn't know the lyrics at all. "I don't what you've been toldBut time is running out, no need to take it slowI'm stepping to you toe-to-toeI should be scared, honey, maybe so..."
  18. Carmen was in the middle of a long drag when she learned that she was the next one to be selected for consideration for the game, near choking as she dropped her cigarette on the ground, having walked away for a short period to do so while the others continued. If she was going be picking what sort of challenge that someone was going to be playing, she might as well accept that fact that she would have a taste of her own medicine. All she could do was at least thank God that it wasn't Neko that was the one deciding what she'd be doing for this, dousing the flames with an empty plastic cup, taking the oxygen away from the small flame. "Fine fine, I'll sing for you all. Someone has to be at least daring tonight," she says, muttering something in Spanish afterwards under her breath.
  19. Carmen Somehow in the time that decision to play Spin the Bottle and looking through Luke's phone, Carmen had managed to get one of the cigarettes to light by using a beat up lighter that she had found, likely lost by someone that had been through here not too long ago. With just enough inside of it, a small insignificant burst of flame came from it, the were-cat sensing the heat radiating off of it before bringing it up to the cigarette in her hands and lighting it. Tobacco filled her sense, a familiar scent that she had experience with before taking an inexperienced drag of it. The immediate feedback of it, near overpowering in its high, holding back a cough as it was almost too much for her to handle. Carmen doubted that she'd ever really be able to be any sort of smoker, but just for the time being she'd take the time to break a few school rules and attempt to smoke it. She didn't need Neko getting upset with her or something for wasting money, let alone any ridicule. The bottle would spin once again and soon it was Carmen that would be selected, taking another drag from her cigarette that was a bit more practiced now, "FIne fine, I'll pick...." she takes a few moments. Carmen had never really played this game before and thought the rules were a little strange to what she was used to, "Leon, truth or dare?" Truth Dare
  20. Carmen was essentially a hangar on as she followed the rest of the group to the railyard, watching as a train limped away in the dimly lit dark out of the city and into the surrounding county. If she had been anything normal in appearance, Carmen would likely be just any other sort of wallflower, but given that wasn't the case, it was more like the stray cat that followed the rest of the group as they came about a fence. Another fence to jump over, the best sign that what they were doing wasn't really kosher with the rules, not that she was really caring at this point as she simply jumped over them in a small flip, not even exerting herself at all in the action. For her own senses, the place reeked with scent mildew and other less savory things, but their use as a group, Carmen considered it a lot better than alternatives, "Dragón," she spoke, pulling out a cigarette from her pocket and holding it out towards Luke to see if he could light it. She had no lighter to use to use and knew that the draconic young hero could at least breath fire during training classes on campus, "What game is that?"

  22. One of the ambulance members had given her water to drink, the cool refreshing beverage rousing her in the late evening, especially after speaking with the Claremont faculty worried over the events that had transpired. She'd look over towards Ashley, the lady that had saved the day this evening as she felt the reassuring hand on her arm. The other arm still had a tinge of pain to it, but she was recovering quick enough, nothing broken, just bruised by the wolfman and their fight against them. There was another water bottle, handing it over to Ashley as the two spoke to each other. "Maybe one day we can just go out to lunch or something. I don't know, it ain't bad busting bad guys... wolves with you," she says taking a deep breath, "You do? I was thinking maybe going to college or something, I never thought I would."
  23. Carmen would catch the pack easily enough out of the air, hiding them away in one of the interior pockets of her varsity jacket. She had grown a habit while she still lived in Puerto Rico, hiding it away from prying eyes. It was sneaking them off of crooks or other hoodlums that tried to mess around back home. Of course, now with so many super powered beings, some of which that could read minds meant that dipping back behind the school could be a difficult task all for a lazy smoke. "Thanks," she spoke without much fanfare for receiving it. She'd scrummage through her pockets for where she kept a small wallet. A small clip of cash was tossed back towards Neko, already having prepped to pay for it. She was more interested in drinking, something that was a bit harder for her to do considering her age. More so given her rather iconic looking look. She didn't feel the talkative type when it came to going anywhere, she didn't know the area still enough to know the best places.
  24. Carmen "You've got my cigarettes, been wanting to get my hands on some," the woman towards the back of the group spoke. She was seemingly even more covered up for the weather, not that she had to as it acted mostly as disguise to hide her true looks the best that she could do with a Claremont jacket and a dark grey hoodie underneath. The only time she had worn jeans as well, the young catwoman wanting to be discrete as they want about their rather unlawful activity. Back at the dorm, placed underneath a few slightly ripped blankets was several pillows made to look like her slumbering form in the most primitive of ways possible. Walking over to the rest of them, she'd put a hand to her hip. She wasn't always on the best terms with Neko, but she got the job done.
