    I am...

Midnight if offended by your mixing of primary colors.
  2. Wisp felt a little uncomfortable as Jill brought up her eyes. "Yeah, they do have a bit of a young Linda Blair look," she said, trying to mask her discomfort with a joke. Turning towards Sage, "So, Sage right? Grim mentioned you were a telepath. All I ask is you're careful with my head, it's where I keep all my one-liners."
  3. So 15 base + 7 strength + autofire bonus (looks like as much as +5). 19+13=32
  4. Wisp watched the serpents close around Citizen and Cannonade and balled her fists, getting ready for another of her teleport sweeps. Her fists, knees, and feet impacted in a rapid series solid blows as the area around the snakemen filled with thin wisps of her trademark bi-colored smoke. "You fight like dairy farmers!" she mocked with the last strike being a savage backhand to one the snakemen with the heavy decorations.
  5. "I'd love one, thank you very much," Wisp smiled. "I'm pretty sure the dorm's laundry machines drums are made of aluminum and plastic so I'll actually be able to clean it. But having it melt off my back in public... . Yeah, that would be bad. Would be one heck of an icebreaker though wouldn't it?" She eyed doorway Fusion vanished through, waiting get the last girl seated so the games could begin.
  6. Does the group need muscle? Pretty sure Wisp will be more than willing to crack some heads.
  7. Wisp goes on 11. Poor girl just can't get a good init roll to save her life.
  8. Wisp grabs the spears from the snakeman and moving next to Cannonade, throwing them out the gap between cars. With that task done she looks into the next car, getting ready to sneak in and maybe take one out early.
  9. "Love the shirt Grim," Wisp said, wiping some pizza grease from her mouth. "And hey, we're only playing for chips right? If it was real cash, I'd be more worried but we're only here for food, friends, fun, and bragging rights right?"
  10. Wisp rose from her chair. "Hey. Pizza, wings, chips, and soda are over there," she waved indicating where she set up her brought in food. "Lobster nachos are... vanishing quickly," she added with a smile, grabbing some and dumping them onto her plate where a slice of pizza was a minute or two before.
  11. I would imagine they'd provide cover bonuses but that's just me.
  12. Whispering back Vicky leaned over, "Oh, I believe in magic. I've met Seven and all. I had an interest in it but I haven't had much of a chance to delve into the art. And sadly, those Dresden Files novels Mr. Butcher writes are not based on real life. It does sound like an interesting place though," she reaches into her pocket and pulls out an iPod touch, "Mind pointing out some 'newbies must sees'?"
  13. "Yeah, I was a little surprised when it turned. I used to be a brunette." "Sounds like a Shadowrun or Rifts game," Vicky said before she could think through her comment to avoid looking like a total geek.
  14. "A pleasure to meet you Solhouette. I go by Wisp. Mainly because of my powers and the wisps of smoke it leaves," Vicky said trading grips with the woman. "I'm pretty new in town. Just moved in from Chicago a few weeks back." Pulling her braided hair over her shoulder she eyed it. "As for my appearance, I've been thinking of dying it. Not sure yet, maybe after I pick my first real costume."
  15. Vicky, thinking better of sitting down, moved to help set up the food "Yep. One sec," Vicky said over her shoulder as she opened the lids on the pizza boxes revealing an extra cheese; a pepperoni, sausage, & green pepper; and garlic pizza. From the plastic grocery bags she pulled a bottle of Coke, one of cherry Pepsi, and one each of the blue and white Mountain Dew flavors. Grabbing the other bag she pulled out original, sour cream & onion, and BBQ flavored chips as well as plastic cups and plates. She poured a cup of Coke out for Silhouette and passed it over. She then took a slice from every pizza, half a dozen wings and brought the sour cream & onion chips and set the collection by her seat to grab a soda. She was a little conscious taking so much food at once but she was used to eating huge meals since her powers emerged, teleporting took a huge toll on her calories per day.
  16. Victoria just blinked at the little Fae, buzzing like a firefly on meth, and the girl who head the tentacles of one of those movies one of the guys in her old D&D group used to watch. I sure as hell ain't in Kansas anymore... Aloud she smiled and said, "Thanks. I could have handled it but thank you anyway." Vicky followed the duo back to the card table, shrugging out of her brown jacket as she did. With it gone you could see the black hoodie she wore said 'Screw the Rules, I have money!' across the front with a stylized picture of a stack of greenbacks. She eyed the rest of the girls as she reached for a chair to sit.
  17. As soon as the words left the snakeman's mouth, Wisp's fist impacted the side of his jaw several times before she moved in yet more red and white smoke, to lay waste to his companions with a series of vicious kicks and punches. "This was my night off. All I freakin' wanted was to get my comics, grab a meal, and go back home but no. Had to mess with the civilians." She punctuated each word with either a fist or a boot to the head.
  18. Wisp's going to go all Nightcrawler again, striking all three with her targted area, auto-fire burst. 16+13=29 leaving them with another round of DC 22+autofire.
  19. Victoria looked at the backdoor of the building, still not sure if she was comfortable with this. Don't be dense, she told herself, This is no different from joining a new D&D group, only with less dice. She held in her left hand grocery bags with several large bags of potato chips of various flavors, several two-liters of soda in a veritable rainbow of sugar-watery goodness while in her right, she carried three large pizzas and four dozen buffalo wings. Not a particularly heavy load of snacks but enough she could share. Juggling the cargo around she gave the door several knocks and waited.

    Wisp

    Index in progress. Wiki entry.
  21. Victoria watched the snakemen reveal themselves and groaned, I just can't get a break. After sticking her graphic novel back into her backpack she pulled up her the hood on her Chicago Cubs hoodie up to obscure her face. With a puff of her trademark smoke she vanished from her seat, reappearing behind the snakeman leaning on his spear, her shoes connecting with his ribs. Before should go survey the damage, she puffed away again to appearing behind the one who spat the acid, delivering a spinning elbow shot to the back of his head. Once again, she was gone in a puff of dual-colored smoke to appear behind the last of the reptiles where she delivered a series of quick jabs at his back. "This is where somebody makes an Indiana Jones reference right?" She asked, her fists raised and ready to go strike.
  22. Wisp is going to use her teleport's "Goon Sweeper" setting for a selective, targeted AE against the snakemen by teleporting behind each one. 1d20+13=18.
  23. With a puff of her bi-colored smoke, Victoria vanished from her latest rooftop perch and next to Crow behind the walls. "Nice work with the snowcastle. It's actually kinda comfy in here," she whispers, hoping her smoke gave her new location away. Quickly she started packing snowballs and passing them to Crow to throw at will.
