Rolling! 1d20+10=13 Bad start...

Having a tender smile on her face, Ashley says "Thank you Aiko-san..." She tried to keep her composure as she speaks. "I know I'm not in the league of many of the other heroes here, power or experience-wise. But..." She takes a moment to calm down before continuing. "But I've always felt that I can help others, that I want to, so no one else suffers like I did when my..." She stops, sighs, then turns away. "Actually, I'd rather not talk about what happened that day. I need a minute to think..." Ashley took a minute to calm down and think, "I've always told myself that this is what I will do... But is it something I will stick to? Is Danielle right about what she says?" She then remembers Aiko's line about making your decisions and decided. "I have people who will support me here, and my family will also give their blessings. Even if Danielle doesn't agree with my actions, she will always pray for my safety." She put another smile on her face as she turns back to Aiko, "If I know that I can stand by my friends when I fight, then I don't regret my decision." Ashley started walking towards the door outside. "I don't know the time, but the sun may be coming up sometime soon. Aiko-san, Do you want to come back to our dorm room, or shall we head somewhere else? I've had enough of this area for one night."

It did have Attack Specialization beforehand. 1d20+8= 9, 17, 17, and 20

Rycon was surprised at Geckoman's muscular chest. "I didn't know you worked out that much, It doesn't seem as noticable when your in your costume." She made a small giggle. "Wonder where you get all the supplies for your suits." She took a quick look outside the arena, she could see Dynamo making laps around the place, waiting for his rival, whoever it was. "Yeah, I'm fine with tomorrow. So long as sis doesn't find out." She started walking to the stands, "I'm going to view the matches now. See ya tomorrow night." She put a nice, big smile on her face as she left.

Rycon started charging her hands with white electricity, responding from the previous question the Doctor asked, "I've made a number of structural components, like rapiers, armors both out of metal, and even once, bullets out of lead." She fired a spark of electricity from each hand, hitting two targets at the other end of the range. She couldn't fire more without charging up again, so as she did, she continued speaking. "I chose knives because they we're easier to make and we're reliably easy to handle." Ready to fire, Rycon shot more blasts out of her hand, striking more targets down the room. "I can thank my welding class for all the knowledge on how to make that stuff, it was a good class to take."

Ashley relaxed a little after hearing Trevor's welcoming introduction. She was still a little nervous around people and needed to work on her own social skills herself. "Um... Good to meet you all." She stated, trying to act a little more braver than before. "We we're just on our way to Mr. Summers office, to register Aiko here. Would you like to come?" She started walking down the hall, trying to remember the path she took when she first came here, she turned around to check if the others we're coming.

Calming herself down after that last shock, Rycon whispered back to Fulcrum, "He certainly does..." Then she turns to Dead Head, saying "It was good meeting..." She cut herself off to see two masked heroes arguing over each other, Avenger and Lukos, apparently a vampire and werewolf respectively. "This could be getting ugly..." She thought, "I don't think coming here was a good idea..." Then Rycon hears some smug jerk taunting Wander, and Geckoman trying to defend her. Seeing as she would rather not have either Claremont student (notably Geckoman) get their ass beaten before an actual match started, Rycon walked up to Geckoman, standing beside him without a word. She decided to see where this would be going before intervening.

Nearly losing herself in the art and anxiety of being found out, Ashley managed to hear Aiko's concern, as she responds, "Ah... yes. I'm just a little frightened about getting caught here. She turned to Blake, who already found himself marveled by the art that was all around them. "Blake..." She didn''t get a response. "Blake...!" Still no response, he was really into art. "Blake!" a third cry got his attention. "You're really into art. We're your parent's artists?"

Ashley made a smile, "Alright Aiko-san." Ashley told her roommate what she knew about her cousin. "I meet Danielle when I first arrived here, some time after my mother was killed trying to get me to her sister's house. I called for help and she and another officer came out and took me to my home in West End." She left a pause before continuing, "I've always been close to her, calling her "Sis" like she was actually my sister. She cared for me and understood my issues I had that time ago. I've always looked up to her, trying to be like her, strong, optimistic, and brave." Ashley wondered if she was up to par with Danielle in those aspects now. "Danielle is an assistant to police officers. She helps the other officers keep their notes organized, run a couple tests like blood samples... at least that what Sis has told me." She left another pause. She was at the hardest part to talk about. "Sis doesn't want me to work as a superhero. She believes that I'll get myself killed recklessly trying to save the day." She took a sigh before wrapping it up. "I understand what she says, but I became one to prevent more tragic deaths like my mom's. I don't want people to feel alone when they need help, I want to protect them, as someone that I can be proud of." Ashley almost jerked a tear. She was beginning to hate talking about these, and she knew she was getting off topic, but... "I've told Danielle my motives for being one, and despite that, she still rejects the idea of me being a superhero, believing I should have a normal life to be happy while she does all the work for me."

Finishing the repairs, Ashley commented, "You look much better now." having a tone of relief in her voice. "Um... makeup, uh... where can we get it? I could head back to my house, but..." She turned around in embarrassment, "Sis found me out as I tried to leave the first time, she will be expecting me if I try to head back." Turning back to Aiko, she said, "Karakuri-san, would you like to know about my cousin Danielle, who I call 'Sis"? trying to see if Aiko had any interest.

The three of them left the group as the new people entered the building, managing to slip away without mostly anyone else noticing. "This is a bad idea..." she thought, nervous about this, worried that she will regret doing this. Ashley looked at all the arts that we're there. Some of them felt underwhelming while others we're too grand for such a museum. "Could this be a storage room perhaps?" She asked the others while her heart made heavy pounds. She had never taken off from the group before, and was scared if they got caught. She still had her backpack on her back, it was notably bigger than others since it housed her costume. This made her more noticeable than the other two here.

Relieved that the past conversation was over, Ashley grabbed the camera and carefully held on, trying to keep a clear look for Aiko so she could repair herself. Seeing little talk going on, Ashley asks, "Karakuri-san, how difficult is it to repair yourself without assistance?" trying to learn a little more about her roommate.

Doctor, that is a wonderful idea. In fact, I think with a bit of modification this could fit perfectly into... perhaps I should PM the idea I have? (It's very much so like yours)

Ah yes, you would be correct. Now... if the Doctor won't give it to Ashley, how would she get it? I have a number of ideas. 1. She steals it from Dr. Archeville. (like that will ever happen, Ashley would do no such thing) 2. Someone working with Dr. Archeville gives it to her somehow. (He/she may be a spy working for another company) 3. Maybe someone tries to infiltrate the place, gets caught by the two, and Ashley decides to take the device he/she had after consult by the Doctor. (Doubt he/she would get far, considering the security there) Any ideas you have? or maybe any that are good for you?

Rycon smiled at Geckoman's response, "Great. So maybe sometime next week?" She was excited to work with others as she felt she didn't do well on her own. "I can judge your flying when we get to it, though based on what I've seen from you flying from the ground, it definetly looked like pretty reckless flying." She looked at the suit Geckoman wore. It was torn up due to all the damage Rycon caused to it. "I suppose your suit will need to be fixed. I have some skill in structural crafts if you would like assistence." She felt better now than she ever had today.

Actually, to save time, let's just say she autofailed. It'll makes for better RP this way.

Still in conversation with Dead Head, Rycon states, "Ah yes, Doctor and I we're both born in Germany. I moved away from there a few years ago. We've known each other for awhile." Then she feels something drop. She looks at the arm she was shaking to see it fall out of it's socket. "Waaahhhgg!" She made an awkward shout as she dropped the hand and tripped over her father's trenchcoat, falling on her bottom. After the laughing, giggling and chuckling was over (one of the chuckles came form her). Rycon gained her composure again and stands up asking the revenant, "D...Did you do that? I don't believe I can pull arms off that easily..." She didn't shake his hand hard. She turned to Fulcrum, asking, "So, have you two known each other?" Rycon was still shaken from the removed arm, the others could tell by her voice.

Doc, since Rycon's power change happens after this thread, she would have an invisibility device to replace her knives. Perhaps Doc could ask her to try out a prototype invisibility device and lets her keep it after it's been deemed a success? (It only offers Invisibility 2, so it could be considered an inferior device)

Rycon had a look at the room turned firing range. It was a test, something that other doctors didn't do alot back in Germany, those usually backfired with disaterous results. But this was Dr. Archeville, he knew what he was doing, he was prepared. these thought circulated her mind as she looked around the room. Upon the Doctor's question, Rycon answered, "" She let her mind free of doubts and worries so she could focus on the task at hand.

Ashley hears the resolve and determination from her roommate. Aiko seemed ready to move on, to not linger and suffer with the past she had. Ashley was jealous of this, she couldn't stop herself from thinking back, angsting on the inside about what had happened to her, and letting others feel her suffering that she had put on herself. It was almost ironic how she uses her father's uplifting speeches yet refuses to follow them herself. But hearing such words from Aiko, who had suffered worse in one year than Ashley had in her entire life reminded her that she could get over it, that she could press onward to the sky, using the wind as her guide. She just needed to work for it. Showing a surge of motivation, Ashley calmly said, "Aiko... if the time ever comes, may I be your aid when you face Doctor Otaku? I just want you to know that I can and will support you, no matter what happens between us." "Geez, this is sounding really corny, coming from me of all people..." She thought.

Rycon's guilt hidden smile turned to a more tender smile as Geckoman responded to her question. "Yeah, I suppose we can't have giant, multi-story creatures trying to invoke their favorite part of "Rampage" She gave another small chuckle, then sighed quietly at the 'retirement' part. "Oh, sorry to bring that up..." He said it was personal, but she heard rumors about a robbery that may have been connected to the whole thing, and it involved other Claremont students... Having a moment to think afterwards, Rycon asked, "Geckoman, perhaps... we can try patrolling together one night? Her face was a little flushed as she spoke.

Rycon made a small chuckle as she walked out if the arena with Geckoman, "Bounce back?" she thought, watching the older green hero catch up and pass her while he was on his hands. As they exited the arena and reentered the waiting room, Rycon speaks, "Good match Geckoman." as she tries to put on a smile to hide guilt as her true feelings. "Hey, I if I may ask, what made you decide to return to hero work during your little 'retirement' early May?"

Doc, perhaps you could make an intimidate roll for the recent post you put up and I'll make a Will save before posting?
