  1. The carnage, the absolute carnage. Moira took it all in. In her hesitation she saw crazy things happen. Bugs attacking someone's brain, glowing purple people, and many, many people die. She braced herself when the soul-searing blast erupted and with it, her soul burned a little. The wielder of such power was being accosted. Perfect distraction. Moira full sprinted towards her trying for a tackle into the wall.
  2. No way I'm passing the reflex Fort and Notice (1d20+13=26, 1d20=5) My soul, it burns a tiny bit.
  3. Damage has to meet or beat the impervious. He's only protected if it's 90 feet :P
  4. Now expresses interest in writing :D
  5. I'm still here! Any official word on other people? You've mentioned Velocity, I've mentioned Prodigy. Maybe we can get their agreements in writing? :P
  6. I mean January game time, not real time :P
  7. Moira looked over to Arrowhawk with a semblance of knowing him. When she last saw him she thought she was just a human with massive amounts of strength, not a child of the god of War and the goddess of beauty. She greeted him with a meek wave as she mouthed a "Hi!"
  8. If this is anytime after January, you might wanna look "M" up ;)
  9. Moira looked back to the Captain struggling against the flames. The flames that could have caught her. Anger and the intenseness of the moment only let her catch the last part of the Captain's words. Get the guy controlling the flames. Reaching back Moira makes a grab for the DJ and get her terget this time. She tries to hold on to him for the Captain's life. Wrapping herself around him, she dragged him to the ground.
  10. Moira laughed at the concept of the CD being magic. Then she thought about it, she had no way of explaining how the music was coming from the little plastic disc. Little things you take for granted, eh? she thought. "No, not magic," she said ejecting the CD, "technology." The car was silent as she held the disc. "That," she points to the console, "turns this," she points to the disc, "into music." Pushing the CD back in the music started again. The streets were empty and the drive so far was smooth as the car stopped at a traffic light.
  11. Look at it this way: Odd numbers are dodge, even numbers are defense. Makes it much easier.
  12. "My name is Divine," Moira said. She straighted up and stopped leaning on O'Ren. "My skills as a fighter are adequate; Hellbound has taught me some moves," she said, winking at him. "But my real forte is social interaction. I'm a talker and a listener. There's not much I don't know about anybody."
  13. Its in the errata. The first thing in it.
  14. I'm thinking about making a PL10 NPC and maybe picking it up when I go gold. Is that allowable?
  15. Moira absentmindedly stroked The Emissary's middle finger with her thumb as she watched and listened to him. It didnt feel like metal, but it definitely wasn't skin. The fact that it was warm made the thoughts in the back of her mind race, How is such a lifeform built? How does he sustain himself? Does he have emotional or biological needs? Does he sleep or dream? When he squeezed her hand she jumped a little. She wasn't too wrapped up in her thoughts to know what was going on, "Thank you sir, it would be a great honor to meet Daedelus. Also, are you sure that you want to go on patrol with me? I can't fly or run or anything cool like that."
  16. Aw I didnt get a chance for an intro I've been slacking too hard :|
  17. Apparently its made for six people. And its tough for six people. So, we probably need about eight or nine :P
  18. Sorry about that :| It's done.
  19. Your flattery is flattering And it's ma'am. Possibly the only ma'am here :P
  20. Welcome back person I have never met before :)
  21. Moira's eyes went wide, "No no, it's nothing that would cause any harm to anyone." She paused for a second to catch herself and calm down, "Well, maybe me if someone found out the truth." As if to focus, she closed her eyes for a split-second and inhaled quickly, catching a hint of apple in the air. She opened her eyes and trained them on to The Emissary, "To answer your question, I must go into a bit of my history. I am a child of the goddess Aphrodite and the god Ares. This is the secret that must not get out. There are people who would want to send me back home if they were to find this out." She pauses, "Note that I have only told a few that I am a goddess (and only that fact, mind you), but in a tongue in cheek manner." "The reason I do the hero thing is for two reasons. First, it beats the other option of being a villain and having people come beat on you for a living. Secondly," she sighs, "is a little bit for self-esteem. When people notice you for being the one that saved their life, it feels good. For the glory and honor of someone knowing me for my deeds."
