  1. Powerhouse and Knight deal with Luna Moth
  2. Luna Moth was too busy soaking in the praise of her followers to notice that a few had escaped. But escape they did, alerting one Powerhouse. By the time he got there, the audience and other contestants were obliviously struck by her magnificence and less obviously by the spores in the air. She smiled when Powerhouse spoke to her. "A superhero, huh," she put on her best Marylin Monroe voice, clasping her wings into a gossamer thin dress around herself and slowly walking towards him, "Well you'd be the perfect type of judge? Though you shouldn't take my rights away," she said entering his personal space as her wings quivered, "That wouldn't be fair, would it?" And then a second person was on the scene. She stepped back from Powerhouse and looked to the new guy. "Looks like you guys are falling out of the sky," she chuckled, "Don't be so mad. This one got here before you. You can come next time."
  3. Tonight was gonna be busy for Knight's Ink. After all the mad shopping and travelling was done, the shop would be full of new and old alike. This is why he decided to give him and his crew a few hours before work started. To mentally prepare themselves.Wesley decided to wing it over the city as Knight in his sparetime. This time he was over the park. Such a serene place. It was hard to keep an eye out for trouble when he was looking at the beautiful scenery. Though unfortunately, his serenity came to a sudden stop when he saw the pageant area. It looked normal at first but then he noticed there was a naked woman with butterfly wings and people that that looked... comfortably numb? What kind of pageant was this? Swooping down, he found that another hero was trying to take matters into his own hands. When Wesley landed, he could see why the other guy was flustered. The woman was gorgeous. "What's this all about," he said in a stern tone.
  4. Elizabeth watched the show with great interest. It was beautifully tragic. They didn't make shows like this anymore. She was caught up in it all. Each scene. From the love unrequited to the action back to the drama again. She was surprised the the people used Donner's name in the opera, since the whole World War II incident. Then again, the timing would be all messed up if they changed just the slightest bit. Preservation! The nazis win if we change anything! Silly little thought for a serious opera.when intermission was announced she turned to Eddie. He said something that needed more explanation. Plus she had questions of her own. "What's that honey?"
  5. Samantha had all the powers of Luna Moth with none of the gadget or bug baggage. Truly, she thought she was free. After spending almost thirty years in a mental institution, she was going to grab the world by the balls and have fun again. Her first appearance after her escape was appearing at a small pageant in the park. Taking her cue from Lady Godiva, she entered the competition herself... sans clothing. Surely she was the most beautific out of these homegrown normal humans! And she would prove it. When people protested her garish behaviour, they were quickly bathed in spores. They no longer paid attention to the obvious problem. And the pageant continued normally until...
  6. Back in the 60s Samantha Cline was the villainous Luna Moth. She didn't somuch as terrorize Freedom City as much as she gave it an eye full of sex appeal while taking it for everything she could. Still she was a villain, a villain with an obsession for being the fairest of them all. Before they caught her back in the early eighties, she was finding her once needed gadgets were not needed anymore. The pheromones she used had seeped into her body causing her to be transformed into a literal butterfly! This took a toll on her sanity. She didn't want to become some horror sideshow freak! She wanted to be beautiful! They eventually caught her when, in a most odd revelation, she stripped down to show the world what Samantha Cline had become. Bug eyes, antennae, and actual wings of a butterfly. She was half crazed in her grief and endangered the lives of many people by using her newly developed spores to snatch them up into the air and drop them into the river. She was eventually talked down by the one man who she longed for all her villainous life. The Raven. The Raven suggested she not be put in prison, but under observation in Providence Asylum. There she has stayed until this day. Recently though, she has began to stir again. Much of her lamented looks gone due to the transformation, she is getting old also. This has drove her deeper into depression, that was until she met one of the new guards. A beautiful young woman named Liane Sorkin was her guard. And, while the power dampeners in the cell blocked Samantha's spore powers and limited her flight some, She had developed something... interesting. She saw Liane as a more than just a guard, she also smelled something different about her. It was her beauty? It smelled delicious! She wanted to drain Liane of everything the beauty possessed. And she would get her chance soon. When Liane came to escort Samantha out of her cell for cleaning and recreation is when it happened. before Liane could put Samantha in her shackles, she grabbed Liane ant kissed her. Liane tried to fight it, but it was useless. She was eventually left a catatonic mess. Samantha was different again. She was her young beautiful non bugged self! Not taking too long to marvel, she escaped her cell and flew off into the night. No one has seen her since.
  7. Elizabeth watched as Eddie seemed upset. She didn't want him to be as such, lightly stroking his hand as the opera went on. She wondered what he was thinking. Was the band really on his mind? Did this really remind him of the whole musical process? She could only wonder and comfort at the moment, as it would be rude to start a conversation at the moment. Maybe at intermission she would speak with him if he seemed distressed then, or if not she could at least ask him what he was thinking. She hoped it was the latter.
  8. Wesley wanted to say something about her not getting out much. He'd invite her to staya while and get aquainted with the rest of the crew and regulars. Though he didn't want to seem pushy, so he decided against it. "Indeed," Wesley smiled, assuring her that they did take the credit card. Gina handed him the card. He scanned it and gave it back to her along with the receipt. "Just sign right there," he said handing her a pen. He chuckled, "You can keep the pen." Getting the signed piece of paper back he nodded, "Thanks again, Gina," he said reaching out a hand to her, his voice warm and comforting, "I really hope you like your new piece of art. Feel free to come back any time."
  9. Clarifications (that probably need to go on the wiki)! You are helping the police, you are not working for the police. You do not get a badge, as that would have some legal implications, so i'm told. They give you a phone they can reach you at, since giving personal information probably wouldn't be the smartest thing to do. Originally I wanted this to be a cross between temporary old west deputizing and buddy cops movies from the 80s and 90s. But my innocent and naive plans were poked away when people put real life implications on all of them! Oh, well, it still works as is. You get to team up with a random person and help the police with their work. Though nothing official.
  10. Wesley nodded, "It's cool. I understand." He still had the Uncertainty Principle design that he could show off. He would put a little note by it, describing what it meant. "Alright, now we gotta talk about care of your new piece of work. for the next week or so, you have to put a light dab of vasoline on it. In fact," he handed her the small bottle he had been working with on her. "It's not much but it'll last you some time. If it gets dry or cracked you need some unscented soap to moisten it up. No scented lotions or anything like that." he took some gauze and bandage tape. "Also, remember to let it breathe. Don't cover it at all if you can, but if you do (like you're about to now) don't let it get stagnant. He covered the work with the gauze. "I'll even give you this handy little note card to remind you. Now, do you have any questions?"
  11. Elizabeth didn't mean it that way, but if Eddie could get season tickets, more power to him. She was just as fine buying him the tickets herself. "You know you can ask me for any help you need," she smiled when he mentioned his trouble at school. She was a pretty OK teacher if she did say so herself. She thought about the album when he brought it up. She wondered if the band accepted her or thought of her as a Yoko Ono type influence on him. Surely she wasn't forcing his hand, was she? When he mentioned the future, she smiled as his face lit up. Dream big, her professors always told her and she told others. This was Eddie's big dream and she was determined to make it a reality for him. She wanted to say something, but she was too caught up in his happiness. Them holding hands, she laid her head on his shoulder. It was warm and comforting. She sat up as the show started, still holding his hand. She remained quiet as the show progressed. She wanted to tell Eddie everything about it as it was going on. A pop up video for opera as it were. Though she would let him watch the show first. It was a good show. The whole dwarf-in-lust scene was very dramatic. She held to Eddie and whispered in his ear, "Very insightful on what not to do."
  12. Wesley rushed the two men out on his massive bear back and dropped them on the ground when he got out. He looked to Silhouette to see what would happen next. And then an explosion kicked him out of his bear form and knocked him flat on his butt. Slowly rising, he looked at the burning building, then to Silhouette."That was a bit over the top," he smiled, "but no more zombies I guess." He pulled out his phone and dialed the fire department and told them of the situation. THey were on their way. "That was quick," he said hanging up the phone, "You sticking around?"
  13. Wesley was dealing with the zombies at the time Silhouette was asking her question, though he couldn't fathom why she would need a light at the moment. "Smoking's not good for you," he grunted before ripping the pants clean off the paralyzed man, the zombies haranguing his bear-like form the whole time, "I'm sure it's not going to get these zombies off of us either." A metallic lighter fell out of the frozen man's mangled jeans. Wesley picked it up with his tongue and handed it to her, making sure not to bite it. He was sure she didn't want a faulty lighter. After she took the lighter he went back to mauling the ineffective, but persistant zombies.
  14. As soon as the zombies started pouring in Wesley assumed the form of a large grisly bear. He tore some of them up dislocating arms and some heads, but these zombies weren't like any he's seen before! They got up if the could and still attacked with what the had left. Wesley turned and looked to Silhouette. one of them had her grabbed. taking the offending zombie in his massive bear jowels, he flung it across the room. "You alright," Wesley's bear voice was much gruffer than his normal voice.

  16. One of the officers smiled and greeted Slick, "Top of the mornin to you, Slick! You came just in time to meet your partner. Just follow me." The officer lead Slick into a room where a Knight was hovering over a box of donuts. The cop cleared his throat. "Oh hi," Wesley looked up and smiled. The officer tipped his hat, "Slick, this is Knight. Knight, this is Slick. You two will be working together. You've both been informed of what's been going on. Everything we've gathered is on that folder on the table. Any questions of us can be answered through me. My name is Sergeant O'Halloharan. I'll take my leave and you two boys can get crackin. We have work to do too, you know?" With that the sergeant tipped his hat again and left, leaving the two with a file and a box of donuts. Wesley reached out his hand to Slick, "Hi, I'm Knight as so introduced. I guess we're cops now?"
  17. The matron at St Sebastian's Orphanage was counting heads when she noticed a three children were missing. She asked the other children if they had seen them and they replid that they had not. The matron was worried. Where could these children have went to. Putting the children to bed, the matron and the other nuns searched high and low for the missing children. One even sat with the remaining children as the others looked around. After a few hours, a call was put into the police. The police came and looked around. searched the grounds and put an APB out for the children. The sergeant knew it was time. He pulled out the hero Rolodex. Every police case needed heroes. So they got a list of numbers of heroes (from the heroes themselves) and put them on a Rolodex. The heroes would be on call for cases, this being one of them. Two heroes were chosen. One being Slick, the other being Knight. They were called into the station and briefed on the case. And now they would meet each other.
  18. >.> <.< Nah, here's the real one OK, now I stop foolin
  19. Wesley smiled as Silhouette popped up from nowhere. "Glad you could join us," he chuckled, "Looks like we got us some one to spill the beans." Wesley focused on the thug but before he could truly grab a hold of his life force again, there was knocking. Wesley cringed, "Do not tell me what I think is happening is happening behind there." He dropped the paralyzed goon and slowly readied himself as he was about to open the door. Before he did, he looked back to Silhouette. "There might be zombies here, you ready?"
  20. "Yeah, you won't be wearing pants any time soon," Wesley said nonchalantly as he started the retrace, "Well, at least tight ones. No, you gotta keep this from drying out. After I'm done, I'll show you in detail. Though you should stock up on vasoline and soap for the next couple of days." He looked up to see if she was OK. That poor stress ball, it didn't know what hit it. "Just a minute or so left. You can keep it up, right?" He worked on getting the finer parts done and, true to his word, it was done rather quickly. Well, in his eyes, he wasn't sure how long it felt to her. "There's we're done. Not so bad, is it," he said while cleaning up the minor spots. He grabbed a hand held mirror and showed her the work when she sat up. "Do you mind if I take a picture for my portfolio?"
  21. Standing around, invisible all but to Silhouette, Wesley pondered his next course of action. Should he turn into a giat bear and knock the men silly? Should he stay normal and jus pop the guys with paralyzation. He really wished he could see Silhouette at the moment. Either action was not going to be subtle, so he decided to move on without her. First, the path of least resistance. He hoped this is what it'd take. "Boys," he said appearing to them, "You didn't learn your lesson last time? I'm afraid I'm gonna have to take you down again." He targeted the man closest to him. Both he and wesley began to glow a dark purple color as the man felt his body lock up on him.
  22. Wesley stopped and smiled, looking to Gina. He spoke with a firm but relaxing voice, "Don't give up on me now. We're almost there." He looked around and fished up a stress ball that looked like an angry red Chinese dragon. Handing it to her, he nodded, "Here, let old Red take the pain for you. Just give him a squeeze when you feel it. Just try not to give him too hard of a time." He winked playfully and continued his work. "Got any type of music you listen to? I can flip that on. Anything to make you comfortable."
  23. Rubbing some vasoline on the area that would be tattooed, Wesley began his work. Marking the first like on Gina, he spoke up, "You'll feel a little buzz against the skin." He traced and wiped as he went along, "but it's the noise that you feel really. Not anything of real pain. You get used to it after your first time." He smiled and chuckled, "The real doozy is coloring. That won't take long though." He hoped that his words were comforting for the first timer. Usually he and the one getting the tattoo would talk as he did his work, but Gina didn't seem the type for small talk. Oh well, couldn't hurt to try. "So, you doin OK? I mean, you're quite awesome for a first timer. Most are usually freaked out. But you? You're a trooper."
  24. "Oh it wasn't so bad," Wesley said with a small smile. He really did enjoy his time with Lynn.As much as they shouldn't have clicked, they did. Very much so. She was ever so inviting to him and he was very receptive to her ways.. Had he not been consumed by his job more than her, they would still be together. Maybe that ring would have been his. Ah, sliding doors. He tried not to think about it too much. She was here as a friend, and he was glad of that. "Silhouette, eh," he pondered wispily, trying to remember the night in question. "Well, she was wearing all black in the middle of the night. She seemed like a nice and helpful enough girl. Since she was in costume, I didn't get her personal information. Heroes have a right to their secret identities." Then again, even he had somewhat of a secret identity. No one questioned if Knight was his last name while he was out. "But yeah, nice girl all-in-all."
