  1. Eighteen? So he's not a minor? Elizabeth's heart went from her stomach back to her chest as Eddie spoke. When he pulled her hands from her eyes, there was a slight, but happy smile. "Oh Eddie, I'm so sorry for putting you and me through this hell." She stood up and hugged him, greeting him with a deep kiss. Those few seconds felt like an eternity, but it felt like a reprieve. When the kiss slowly tapered off, she leaned her head on his shoulder with something of a contented sigh. She still held on to him, wanting to say more words, but she was caught up in a moment of bliss.
  2. Wesley looked in the direction he was told to. "Couple of people... standing guard? That seems suspicious enough." He smirked, "Also check this out, I can tell what health condition they're in." Wesley's eyes began to glow bright green as he checked them with his 'sight'. Though he expected to find a bit of info about how they didn't have a healthy diet, he found out something worse. They were not alive and it showed up as a black roiling mass on his 'sight'. "Not only are they standing guard, they have a serious case of being dead." Well, UNdead. This is something way worse than drugs! Well, it could have been drugs. Wesley remembered something about zombie powder. "You know anything about Zombie Powder? If it is drugs we got that going on. If not we got some crazy necromancer. Either way it looks like its time to move. Direct or subtle?"
  3. Elizabeth was hard at work preparing for the big dinner that was going to be tomorrow. She was taking Eddie to meet her family for Thanksgiving. While she did enjoy when Eddie cooked for her, she likened cooking to an art. Thus she studied it (along with almost everything else) as a part of her free time. The was something almost zen about the whole process. You had to be in a certain zone to truly master some things. This was one of them. While between the cutting vegetables for one of the casseroles something snatched her out of her cooking nirvana. The sound of Sweet Child Of Mine buzzed her cellphone. She forgot that she had left it on the counter. She hurriedly picked up the phone, "Hey sweetie, what's up?" She smirked when he asked his question. "The guessing game huh? I guess that you have a weed eater, a live chicken and some peach preserves."
  4. "Amazing what you can find in this city, eh?" Wesley said as he turned back into a normal person, "you're the first I've ran into with your unique powers. As or me? I manipulate 'life force' as I like to call it. I can change mine another people's shape. I can also trip every body function in some one's body. Recently I've found out I can take a bit of life force from anything to copy certain aspects of them. Their training, their powers and if all else fails, I turn into something big and smash it." He said all this while following her every move. Little did she know that he had adjusted her eyes to where she could see him and others could not.
  5. "My pleasure," Wesley said turning into a large red Chinese dragon, "I'll take you there myself. Hop on." Wesley didn't track drug dealer migratory patterns, but he knew some places around town that were obvious. Silhouette sat comfortably on the giant flying lizard and they were both off into the air. Rounding Riverside all seemed quiet, "There are definitely some hotspots. Word on the street keeps those in the know about these things." Wesley the dragon began to descend to a lower altitude, "This place is a fairly new name, so they probably haven't cleared out yet." Landing, he chuckled, "You can get off now, i don't want to drop you when I change back"
  6. Wesley nodded and listened to Silhouette as she introduced herself and why she wore what she wore. Wesley remembered reading something about how ninjas didn't actually wear black. Dark blue and grey to match the night sky. Not that this girl was a ninja or anything, but hey, random trivia was sorta his specialty. He shook his head when she asked her questions, "Nah, this girl I met earlier tonight was seriously itching to find some drug dealer places to 'stay away from'. Suspicious, I thought. So I thought I'd give her an actual place to go to. There used to be activity here until me and some others cleaned it out. But now that I make this a part of my 'nightly stroll' it stays clear. So yeah. A little intervention. Sorry about the scare back there. I promise I wasn't gonna scare her to death, it would be rude." He chuckled.
  7. "Well, I deal in art," Elizabeth said after wiping the top of her lip off and licking the excess alcoholic drink off, "I'm also an artist myself. I have all sorts of art projects." She took another drink. Elizabeth was always a connoisseur of liquor. It ran in the family. The family she didn't know about, "As for why I'm here? Well obviously so I can see a little bit of what the south seas have to offer. So far it looks absolutely perfect," she winked. She drank again then sat the empty glass on a tray of a passing waiter. "And you? Such a pretty girl has to be a model," she smiled. "But really what do you do and why are you here?" She whispered, "If you really are a model I'm going to be embarrassed."
  8. Elizabeth nodded happily and took the orange juice when it was given to her. She sucked it down as there was still food that needed to go down. She didn't remember the last time she'd eaten so nervously. She had reason now. She sat the cup down and looked to Eddie with a smile. Though the smile quickly faded when he started to speak. She listened attentively. She could hear her heart beating like a drum. And then he laid it all out on the table for her. The string of fate was in her hand now. She sighed with a tremble. "Eddie, I must get this off my chest. I am 27. I know You're, what, seventeenish? Please know that I do love you. The... the thing being is that while I love you very much is that I could get in trouble very much for what I'm doing now." She looked down covering her face but not her mouth, so she could be heard. Her voice still trembling, "I don't know what to do in this situation. Please forgive me. I wish I could go back to last night and unfind those papers and be blissfully unaware and happy. But now..."
  9. Elizabeth yawned and nodded her head when Eddie asked about sleep. She smiled when the music flipped on, she loved this song. It reminded her of a winter's morning with a thick snow on the ground. "Juice, please," she said lightly. Looking at the eggs and bacon, she took a bite. The thoughts were still stirring in her head. She was planning what to say and how to say it. She took another bite. She had given speeches to some of the strictest people in the world and yet she couldn't come up with the words to say something with her feelings. She took another bite. The food was gone before Eddie had gotten back with the drink. He could see something was on her mind, even though she was trying to disguise it.
  10. If there's any space left open, Muse'd be up for it.
  11. Elizabeth woke to the smell of eggs and bacon cooking. Eddie wasn't the best cook, but she loved when he did so. She could have done the works herself, but Eddie's cooking was simplistic. She slipped on a night robe over her nightgown and walked to the kitchenette area to find Eddie working away at the stove. She smiled to see such hard work. Sitting down at the small table in the impromptu dining room, she greeted him, "Good morning."
  12. Elizabeth really dug the boundless energy of the girl she had just met. Nell was like a breath of fresh air. Elizabeth followed her as she took her hand. Cabins later, drinks now. She chuckled when Nell apologized, "No worries, I'm sure we can burn off some of that energy while we're here." The partial flying made tripping up the stairs much easier. When she gave an order for something from the bar Elizabeth smiled, "One sloe gin coming up." Walking to the bar stand, she ordered Nell her drink and a coconut daiquiri for her for herself. It wasn't long before the music started playing, just in time for her to hand Nell the drink. She raised her glass, "Here's to a great trip. It's started off so well." She winked and took a drink of the concoction.
  13. Elizabeth smiled and wrapped her arms around him, resting her head on his chest. While she didn't show it, the thought of loving someone ten years younger than her was eating her up in side. While she slept, she thought about this. Well, less sleep and more restlessness. Could this happen? She was blissfully happy until she found out his age. Did it matter that much? The morning would come later. Right now she held tightly to the one she loved.
  14. I have not used my gold reward. I used my platinum reward to get a PL12. Does that mean I cant have a third character or that my third character has to be PL7?
  15. Wesley was impressed with the magical drink. He got a Fusion out of the refrigerator and had a seat in the chair. She had gone from straight shapeshifting to summoning things. She had obviously grown in power. He did not know how the fey thing worked, only that it worked so well. He tried to keep a straight face when she mentioned Robin. It still stung a little, even though they were still friends. He smiled when she mentioned the new place. He remembered when she sat and watched him work at other places. He started this place like a month at the most after they broke off. He chuckled when she asked how he was, "Well, I'm doing a little better than I was a month or two ago." He sighed, "Yeah, Robin called it quits back then, but we managed to still be friends." He hoped that she hadn't heard about the disappearing act. "So, how about you," he said perking up and opening the bottle of mixed fruit juices, "How have you been?" He took a drink and listened.
  16. "I'm so sorry," Elizabeth sniffed, "I should have been more aware." She thought for a few split seconds, using that brain she was given. Did the age thing really change how she felt. Sure she was, like, tenish years older than him, but her heart told her that she had fallen. "I think we should lay everything out on the table," she said sitting cross-legged in front of him, "if... if we are to know each other then we should at least." She sighed, "No, wait. It shouldn't matter should it? If we really cared for each other, loved each other, then this wouldn't matter. None of it would matter." She leaned down and softly kissed his cheek. "Eddie, please forgive me. I'm very confused at the moment." She laid back down and looked at the ceiling. It was quite awkward the emotions going through her.

  18. There was something very cathartic about the silent moment they shared there. Her in his arms, Wesley felt like he held the world. Well, everything in the world that needed to be held at the moment. He measured her breathing and heartbeat. She felt content. Then she broke away with a soft touch. When she asked her question, he smiled broadly. "Well, I do like my little paradise here. Though paradise is lonely." He chuckled and shook his head. "Seriously though, I'll need some clothes before I reenter society. Else I might make the six o'clock news!" The mental imaging of him flying in the emperor's new clothes was something to behold. "But really, I can turn into something inconspicuous if you let me tag along on your boatless ride."
  19. Oh God, Elizabeth's heart and mind swam, I've been sleeping with someone who's not out of high school. She didn't want to believe this. Was it a nightmare? She looked to Eddie confusedly. "I... I didn't know you were that young," she said as he turned away from him with her head down. Her voice trembled, "Eddie, I have something to tell you." She swallowed, "Something to ask you actually." She sniffled and rubbed the tears out of her eyes then turned to look at him, "How old do you think I am?"
  20. OOF. Wesley stood up to the might of the mighty small girl's grip. She had gotten stronger. Though it wasn't that hard, he just wasn't expecting a linebacker hug from the ballerina type. He lightly hugged her back. This did not sit well with Suki, it seemed. "Sure," he said answering her. The waiting area was empty. Though Suki needed to be out watching for customers. "Come on," he said lightly taking her hand, "We'll go some place more comfortable than out in the open." There was an employees room in the back where they could talk in private. Passing Suki on their way back he whispered in the employee's ear, "Keep an ear out, please? Now go back up front." When he and Lynn got into the space for employees, it did actually look like a home place. There was a plush brown couch and chair set, a table with all sorts of magazines, a large flat screen with a couple of game systems hooked to it behind that all was a small kitchenette. The walls were painted with all sorts of designs. Some were finished others looked abandoned or not finished. Wesley invited Lynn to have a seat on the couch and be comfortable, "You want something to drink? We got all sorts back here."
  21. "Alright, we'll see you later this evening then," Wesley said winding down the call as Suki found him, "Great." He had been talking to a guy who wanted a bit of a large order, and it wasn't anything harmful. Wesley was glad the word of mouth had picked up about the modifications. This surely was a big hit. Then Suki showed him the sign as the guy was giving his final words and hanging up. Wesley looked shocked there for a moment. It couldn't be Lynn, could it? Last time he saw her she had a gunman for a boyfriend. Though he knew Suki would probably totally interrupt him if such a person was at the stand. He hung up the phone and slipped it in his pocket. He looked at her, silently questioning her surety that it was her. Suki nodded. He took a deep breath, swallowing the pit of his stomach feeling. He nodded her back to her station and followed her back to the front. When he got there, he did in fact find that it was Lynn. OK, he thought, no butterflies. no weirdness. Just friendliness. He still didn't know why she was here. Time to find out. Speak, he thought, don't just stand there smiling like a goofball. "H-Hey, Lynn," he smiled with a bit of a small voice. He stood with his arms behind him. He had forgotten how small she was. Though he knew she could get bigger or smaller at a moment's notice. "What brings you this side of town?"
  22. Nell, Elizabeth thought as she dipped when Nell took her hand, Haven't heard that name in a long time. She chuckled lightly, "You can call me either. I've grown accustom to both names." Ah, drinks, she could definitely go for some of those. The ones that had the coconut and banana in them. She nodded, "That sounds great, Nell. Tell you what, I'll buy the drinks." She smiled again, "Though this is my first time on this ship, would you happen to know the way around it. I sorta look clueless with this map." She put the small fold up in the side of her skirt. "Or we can both wander around aimlessly."
  23. Elizabeth was a think on her feet type. Sure she had the requisite stuff (beachwear, formalwear, casualwear, etc) but she also brought along some extra things if the creativity bug bit her on the trip. Her boarding outfit was a bit colorful multi-color bikini top and bottom with a thigh length wrap around skirt, round wireless sunglasses and a straw hat. No shoes, she was perfectly fine with floating a bit off the ground. Enough where it wasnt noticeable, but avoided things that would harm her feet. She was right behind the woman who everyone was trying to catch a glimpse at. While Elizabeth was a looker herself, she couldn't help but notice the woman. She smiled and followed behind her, trying to be somewhat inconspicuous, but enough to try to get the woman to notice her. When that failed, Elizabeth went to introduce herself. She greeted the woman when she stopped walking. "Hi," she said with an upbeat voice and a curtsy, "I'm Elizabeth." She didn't know any other way to start the conversation than being a bit forward. "I couldn't help but notice you were walking in the same direction as the suites. So, rather than being all quiet, I thought I'd perk thigs up a bit." She smiled brightly and reached out a hand of greeting, "So, what would your name be, lovely lady?"
  24. Elizabeth Skillman had to gets somethings off her mind. She had picked up her heroes duties after she and Eddie made their decision., but it wasn't helping. Well, it was helping the city, but really it was more therapeutic for Elizabeth. Things culminated when she was divorced from her normal life 24 hours a day almost seven days a week! She had to slowdown and take it easy. And then it hit her, a little vacation would help ease her mind. But where would she go? Some place warm, that's it. It was becoming cold in dear old Freedom, she would travel south. The Bahamas were always nice this time of year. And it had been so long since she had been on a boat. She decided to kills two birds with one stone, book a cruise to go to the Bahamas. The cruise started in Florida and they would leave for the Bahamas to stay there for a week in the summer-esque sun and, of course the Bahamian culture. Elizabeth did so love learning about cultures.
