  1. Oh sorry I though we were decided  . I like the idea so my vote is to go with it.
  2. After Amir little speech the Imam led the community in a prayer, and gave a speech thanking everyone for giving their time and effort. With the ceremony now over the majority of the press drifted away, apart from the few who were either interested in the building itself or the superheroes taking part in the building. “Thank you for your help today, you’re welcome to stay and help out if you wish. I’d understand if not, you a busy man after all, but if you could visit us when the Mosque is finished?â€
  3. Constance gave him a serious look and for the first time Rene was almost certain she was telling the truth “I will do everything in my power to make sure that the Countess isn’t harmed. But it is important that the spirit possessing her is entrapped within, if Gallia escape she will just inhabit another poor woman.†She managed a small smile “I know this must be new to you and seem strange but I have a little experience in these manners.†She paused a little a seemed saddened, could she be feeling some kind of kinship with the Countess. “Eventually Marianne could absorb Gallia into herself, after all they are both part of the spirit of France. But right now Gallia is too strong for this to happen, the Countess will probably have to be imprisoned for the rest of her natural life.â€
  4. We haven't got to it yet but Rene's seen the picture and know Gallia, and host, have been trapped within. He also know that there is a method to release her, but not quite what it is...
  5. Sophie was hopping around like a kid of Christmas Day and she hardly wait for them all to enter the room before throwing back the cover on the rather large canvas. “May I present The Countess of Domrémy.†The woman wasn’t what most would consider a classical beauty, her face had angular sharp features, but this gave her a rather startling noble bearing. In defiance to modern trend she kept her hair dark hair in a page boy style. Her clothes were obviously of high quality, but she was dressed in what were masculine clothes. Rene hadn’t seen either the woman or the painting in a couple of centuries but she still stirred many memories.
  6. YB's initiative 1d20+1=16 Merge's 1d20+2=12 So we have Young Britannia : 16, 2 HP, Unharmed Starlight : 15, 4 HP, Unharmed Merge Trois : 12, GM, Bruised For ease we'll say that Starlight's already in the studio so can act normally this round. So we'll start with YB. Spend a HP for Move-By-Attack. So we have MOve Action : Fly into studio 1, then studio 2 Standard Action : Dazzle The two groups of Merge's are two separate groups so the dazzle won't affect those your fighting.
  7. Agnus was torn between stopping Merge stealing all the cash and helping Starlight. Her own instincts and those of the Spirit. Wait why do I have to choose? I just need to slow the others down. With no time for subtly she took to the air building up her aura as she made her way from the control booth to the studio where the cash was being taken. Bursting through the door she made her way to the middle of the room. “Hate to do this and run but well, Lights… and well that’s about it.†She then let off one a burst of light from her aura filling the studio with a bright white light. Not pausing to check on the Merge’s in the room she took off straight back to the other studio to assist her friend. “I improvised we’ve got a little time to sort this lot out.†She gave her friend a bright smile.
  8. Agnus gave a little sigh. She really wanted to be mad at Asad, it had been six months after all, but it wasn’t like she’d gone through a few crazy ady herself. The fact that with her heels she could look him in the eye for one… “Gail go make us a couple of coffees, then you can take the rest of the day off. Go say Stephanie I said hi.†She crossed her arms and her face looked stern but there was a softness in her voice. “How about we take a seat ever here or the office, though the chair here are better. And you can tell me the whole story in detail.†She managed a little wry smile “Maybe less of an info dump this time.â€
  9. Lucy had decided to dress down for the day. After all the important thing was the building on the Mosque, not that there was someone like herself involved. So instead of her usual suit, she was wearing a pair of jeans and a hooded top, with the hood pulled up to hide her coal black eyes. Dodging between the children, who seemed fascinated with her shows of strength, she put the two pallets down. With only a glance at the hubbub going on at the front of the lot she returned to gather more pallets from the truck. The Imam gently guided Asad to where the foundation ceremony was to take place. The first stone had been carefully crafted with a prayer inscribed on it in both Arabic and English. As he walked the two toward the spot he whispered in Asad’s ear. “If you could make a quick speech about the event, then after a prayer you can lay the first stone.â€
  10. Zenith Studio was her little pride and joy. Over the last few months she had built up a little stable of talents that whilst they hadn’t had an massive hits they were well regarded within there fields. Who knew she’d be a better businesswomen than she was a pop star. And all this despite the studio only having a small staff, who with no one using the studio today consisted only of herself and Gail. Gail was on the phone with Stephanie, her friend she was always going on about but Agnes had yet to meet despite her promises, when she looked up and saw Asad standing there. “Um Ms Stone I think you should see this?†“Gail I keep telling you call me Agnus…†Agnus stepped from her tiny office only to stop when she saw Asad “What is that idiot doing out there in the bloody rain.†She threw open the studio door and shouted in a very unladylike like manner “Oi you idiot get your arse in here before you catch your death of cold.â€
  11. Blodeuwedd quietly sat and picked at the food. Like Subito she was happy for Lord Steam to do all the talking. It was for slightly different reason however, the best way she found to judge a person abilities was to watch and observe. So quietly she sat doing just that. Madame Vapeur for her part just sat there sipping on Champagne. Looking for all the world like she’d just stepped out of a Salon. “To understand my motives I think you should understand something about my origins. I was born in a backwater of the mighty Napoleonic Empire…â€
  12. Despite the Queens assertion that anyone could ask a boon, it seemed prudent to still go through Medraut. She leaned in and whispered in his ear. “I think someone should go and explain to Subito what’s happening exactly. I not he’s bound to do something stupid like try and escape. Beside me and Branwen have found out something you need to see.†It was a logical decision, she knew Subito enough to know what he’d try and do. The less logical part of her brain wanted her to be chosen to give him the message, but she’d accept her supervisors’ decision. It was how she had been trained after all.
  13. So all she had to do was keep Doctor Wessex safe, stop the two from harming anyone else and make sure none of the security got hurt. So no challenge there then. First Doctor Wessex. She made sure to step between him and the creature threating him, and then held up one of the chips she’d rescued from him stash. “I’m sorry doctor I was wrong, why don’t you take these and have another go on the tables.†She dropped the remaining chips into his hand, then raised them up in the air to talk with the security. “I’m afraid there has been something of a misunderstanding. Could I just have a minute with my friends before I leave?â€
  14. Spend a HP to stunt Super-Movement (Temporal) from my Light Control (Teleport). If you want I can try and work it all out, but I'm sure I've got enough to get the "distance" I need.
  15. “I got to do something a minute, see if you can get anything from him." There were things she didn’t totally understand about her powers, some which the Spirit of Justice didn’t exactly hide but didn’t encourage her to find out. One was the nature of where all her stuff went when she transformed. One thing she didn’t want to do was deliver the chain these creatures desired right into their claws, even if it was stashed away. There was a trick she’d figured about her power, if she could move things through space she should be able to move them through time. To the crazy world of Quantum mechanics it was all the same thing. She wasn’t sure enough to try it on real people; inanimate objects were a different matter. Though she really did like this bag. Sending a quick text to her manager telling her that she might be gone a while and to use her emergency funds. The she returned it to her bag and with a bright flash of light she bended space and time, delivered her bag and all it contents to the safe (which only she knew the combination) in her studio when she left. “Right let get going.â€
  16. Finally it was decided that the communities poor Imam would have the job of explaining to her that whilst they would happily accept her help, once finished they couldn’t allow her to enter the building. This Lucy took in her stride, it wasn’t exactly the worst thing someone had tried to do her for being undead, that would be trying to bury an axe in her head, and she could understand their reasoning perfectly well. So whilst the Imam and the community leaders, along with a few members of the press, waited for their special guest she was round the back of the lot single handily unloading pallets of bricks.
  17. "Little India", West End 16th October 2012 The term Little India was a bit of a misnomer as people from all over South Asia had made this part of the West End their home. This included a sizable Muslim population, mainly from Pakistan, and today was a special day for the whole community. After several months of collecting and planning they were finally ready to start construction on a local Mosque. The plan was for the community to build the place themselves, mostly for the few of them who worked in construction, but on the first day the idea was that the whole community would pitch in to start the building. They’d even invited a prominent Muslim to lay the first stone of the Mosque. One problem them had to decide upon was a local resident Lucy Harker, also known as Revenant. It seems that this area was once her home and she had now resumed residence in the area, acting as a protector of all the residents of this part of the West End. The moments she had heard about their idea she was enthusiastic about the idea, attending all the meeting and generously donating money. The problem wasn’t that she was an outsider or even a woman; it was that she was quite openly undead.
  18. Fort save for the Grue 1d20+2=3, yeah he's in trouble.
  19. A voice spoke right beside his ear. “I have to go collect something, meet you, and me as well, there.†It was of cause Merge, but she was also sit right in front of him an enigmatic smile on her face. “I’ll answer the two question that everyone asks about my powers. She is me and I am her. We’re both aware of everything that the other is seeing. It’s like being in a room with hundreds of television and being able to watch and listen to each one. And then there’s taste, touch and smell as well…†She gave a little smile “And no, it’s just one Merge and one partner.â€
  20. Gwyddbwyll Gwenddoleu ap Ceidio, or just Gwyddbwyll were more than just a pair of Night Vision goggles. There specially crafted lenses, which glowed an eerie green, allowed Blodeuwedd to see magical energies. And what she saw right now, a literal dread floating over the lake, did not fill her confidence. She used the circumstances to step back to beside Branwen and offered her Gwyddbwyll. â€I think you should see this, I think we might all be being played.†She whispered to Branwen in English this time, many of the Fae didn’t bother to learn any language beyond the original Celtic tongue.
  21. “If you’d follow me.†The Avian spoke almost perfect English, though with a slight unidentifiable accent. He lead them through the corridors of the Vickie all sharp angles and steel in sharp contrast to the wood and padding of the Cressida. The dining room was similarly stark in it Stainless Steel design, in stark contrast to their host. She had changed her clothes into a flowing gown, a more practical version than those Lord Steam had seen on the streets of his home, in a bright scarlet. “Please take a seat and help yourself, I’m afraid I had to source locally so it’s not the finest to be had.†The table was filled with a variety of different dishes with a distinctive Gallic flare.
  22. Constance leant against the room’s dresser and looked thoughtful for a minute. “It would make sense if she is as she claimed Gallia, you noticed the weird sound to her voice†she looked at the still confounded Rene “I guess not. Gallia is the spirit of France and the spirit that flows through the blood of all Frenchmen.†She look a little sad for a moment “It is a shame that she is so committed to the old order, if she does make her strike it will tear the Republic apart. If she could talk to all France then there may be a chance, but alas.†She looked at Rene with concern. “Will you be able to do this? To betray the Countess, in all her terrify glory, to save the Republic from ruin?â€
  23. She gave a much more genuine smile “It seems that the world of business and the criminal underworld operate in much the same way. Though I’m guessing in business getting fired is much less terminal.†She gave a little sigh “I thought for a change we might try trust, rather than each of look out for the point where one tries to betray the other.†Seeing her coffee was empty she called for refill. “Anyway I quite like Ms Van Cleef, it rare you get people who are quite so unflappable. You should pay her more, and you can tell her I said that!â€
  24. Using Skill mastery on Notice for a total of 22.
  25. Agnus gave a little sigh. So much for an easy solution. She deliberately spent a few extra minutes making sure she’d healed as much of the man disease as she could before she talked to Subito. “So we’re basically left with one of two choices. Either we find the Serpent people, who want to enslave or mankind. No offense.†She said to the little man “Or we try to track down Madame Malaise and her swamp full of disease.†She glace around at the potential thousand eyes staring back out at them. “Cause we only have this man word about this magical swamp dweller…â€
