  1. Despite everything Blodeuwedd couldn’t help but give a little smile, it might be a serious situation but she couldn’t help but enjoy herself. She rapidly considered her options. The problem with speedster, artificial or otherwise, was working out where they would be at any time. Luckily the user was either inexperienced or tended to stick to same attack style. She just had to pick her time. “That the problem with some men all speed and no style. What a girl is looking so is someone with a little more substance.†At the just the right moment she stuck out her hand at neck level, which he ran into at full speed.
  2. The buggy made its way through the dirty streets of Paris, with all the life it had to give. “I’m hoping we can get through this with subterfuge, but make sure your pistol is loaded just in case.†They travelled for a while before she again spoke “It’s time you let you I on the plan. We’re travelling to a Tavern just outside the city called The Sinking Ship; it seems that the Countess and her supporters have taking residence there. Once we have giving the correct passcodes we should hopefully gain audience with the Countess. What happens next depends on her, but I think we should try and convince her to attempt to free the Prince. The Temple should be a good place to try and capture her.†She gave Rene a little smile “Unless you have a better plan, I’m willing to listen if you have a better plan?â€
  3. And were back, could you both give me Notice Roll please.
  4. Grue Embassy, Soo-Tine VII The Grue Ambassador sat in the darken room sat as though meditating, though he was instead monitoring the Grue ships currently in the system. As he did he again mused on his simple plan to capture the rogue Grue and sort out the problems of the Tine. It was a simple plan bring the Rogue Grue here using its warped sense of honor, then capture and reintroduce it into the Unity. Then the Rogue Grue would admit it planned the incident on Earth, with a Renegade Tine, to discredit the species. The Lor would leave to continue their infernal meddling elsewhere, the Tine would share there secrets with the Grue and they would be able to pick apart this Rogue Grue and learn the secret of its magical powers. He smiled it was almost too easy… Soo-Tine System With a burst of photons, neutrinos and more exotic particles the Sleipnir returned to normal space. No massive Lor ship was ready to receive its arrival however, but a smaller circular Grue ships powered it up and began to make its way rapidly towards the Sleipnir.

  7. The Starlight Room, Tremont Hotel, Downtown Freedom 10 am, 18th September 2012 The interview had been arranged months ago, before the incident at his offices, and Ms Van Cleef had insisted he attend. She reasoned in her irritating calm tones that it was his absent that has caused all the trouble in the first place. And if he was honest things his hunt for Angela had reached an impasse. Despite his best efforts he’d been unable to track down her movements; it seems she’d dropped off the radar again. Probably planning one of her crazy “art crimesâ€. As the waiter took Amir to the table to meet the Reporter for his interview something seemed familiar about her, that wasn’t unusual he’d meet plenty of the press over the years. But that wasn’t that, it wasn’t until the waiter was getting him seated that the penny dropped. She was wearing a sensible, expensive, suit and her blond hair was tied neatly up but it was unmistakably Merge Trois!
  8. Ms Van Cleef answered with her normal controlled manner “That crazy woman’s gone from your office. I’ve alerted security but she hasn’t apparently left through any of the exits. I’m just about to deal with the police now, before calling in someone to deal with the damage. Oh and this mad woman ask me to pass send on a message, I’m doing it now.†As the message came in Asad’s cell begun to play a little tune, some modern pop song. On screen was a cute cartoon Merge. Clicking on the app bought up the number and the owner of the client file Merge had claimed to have stolen, in a cute little speech bubble. The file was from a Portfolio he’d set up a couple of years ago, the name of the owner gave him a pause it was Angela Milan.
  9. Blodeuwedd supressed a little frown by nibbling a little on her food. They’d always been told that as a last resort they might have to kill somebody. Keeping the Order secret was so important that it was an option if there security was about to be compromised. Whilst it seemed all good and fine it the isolated environment of the dojo, in the real world with people she considered friends she wasn’t sure she could do it… “I wouln’t dare, I’d break Dyrnwyn on that thick skull of yours.†She managed a weak smile
  10. “Your cell has the decryption key for the message from Ms Van Cleefs phone. It’s an exclusive app. I can only provide the name of the files I was hired to help find, I don’t know what they were after.†Her face hardened for a minute “And I plan to find out, I don’t like being betrayed and abandoned. It may surprise you but some of us have a code of honor.†She crossed her arm and gave him a stern look “So you have everything you need now. Let’s hope you also have a code of honor.†She spoke quietly to the air nearby and with a slight blur Camera Obsura appeared. He was masked but the deadlocked man bore a passing resemblance to Merge herself. The way she acted around him suggested she cared for the man. He seemed oblivious to the world, not focusing on either of them.
  11. Agnes picked at the food and looked longingly at the wine, it was still a couple of months before she could legally drink in the States. And yeah she was on an alien spaceship but best not to take any chances. She polity refuse the wine and sipped at the water. “Well I must say this is wonderful spread, though you should try my Mums fried banana fritters someday.†After picking at the food for a more minutes she gave some thought to everything they’d learned. “Sorry to bring work into the meal but I think we should split up again. Someone should go with Jubutus to check out the Subway station, I’m sure this thing could drop them off on the way to the lab.â€
  12. Merge was sat in one of the offices expensive couches holding a glass full of expensive scotch. She’d tied off the jumpsuit at the waist showing a very tight fitting tube top. “You know for a Muslim man you have a very well stocked drinks cabinet. Not that I’m complaining, this is a very fine aged scotch.†She drained the scotch and stood up, throwing towards Asad his previously abandoned cell phone. “You should be care with those; there are some unscrupulous people out there. Steal anything these days." She gave a cheeky smile. “One tiny change in the plan, oh don’t worry the deal still stands. I’ll make my own way out I need you to transport Camera Obsura. Seems Mr Grey left us to our fates when he got what he wanted. Can’t trust anyone these days.â€
  13. Whilst Gabriel did his work Young Britannia was looking over floor plans of the building provided by the police. She wasn’t quite sure how it worked but she could teleport herself anywhere without having been there before. She scanned the plans looking for somewhere that Silver Spider could infiltrate the building proper. She pointed to a suitable room away from where everything seemed to be going on. “What about here? I can if necessary extract you from that point as well.†She put on a comms unit she’d borrowed from a very nice policeman. “Okay we’re just about ready go guys, just give the word and I’ll get Silver Spider inside.â€
  14. “What of the Twlyth Teg of the Caer Dathyl? Do they know nothing of the actions of this tribe?†The order had an unusual arrangement with the clan of Twylth Teg that lived in the bounds of their village. In return for protection and aid in certain rituals, but none that cost human lives, the fae put a powerful glamour on the whole village of Caerdathyl. Apart from the most powerful of mages and spirits no one could find the place unless the occupants wanted them to, it meant the village had all the comforts of modern world but the order could operate in almost complete freedom. Blodeuwedd leant in a whispered to Subito “You are honoured indeed; very few outside the order had been allowed to hear of our origins. It may seem innocuous but you may never repeat this to anyone else, secrecy has protected the family for over 3,000 years. I am now honour bound to ensure you protect the family’s secrecy.â€
  15. She went to give a told you so look to the Supervisor before catching herself, he wasn’t her equal he was her superior. She knew each one had proved themselves over countless years; no one at Claremont’s could earn that kind of respect or even awe. Well except perhaps Headmaster Summers, there was something about that man… So instead she enjoyed the fresh air and rugged beauty of this part of Wales. She’d never been homesick, and Freedom City had its own charms, but she did miss the views. “We’re not going to attack the lake monster unless we really have to, for all its destructive nature it’s still just an animal. No we’re going to try and stop those attempting to wake it. Unless I’m missing something?â€
  16. Blodeuwedd remember at the last second exactly how the portal worked, in her defence this was the first time she travelling this way, her warning was unfortunately lost to the fall. As she landed her instinct, from hour upon hour of gymnastic training, she rolled with the fall and came up on her feet. To almost wish she hadn’t. <â€I’m honoured that you will be assisting us Supervisor.â€> she bowed her head in respect, this was a seasoned member of the order, not a friendly trainer like her old Taid <â€I’ll allow him to introduce himself, but he was the one I mentioned in my report that assisted with that incident in America. I had to tell him a little of the workings of the Family. He also either been teaching himself Welsh or he has a special ear for languages.â€> So be careful what you say didn’t need to be said. The formalities out of the way she looked for little Red Stripe, she’d hoped she hadn’t been hurt by the fall.
  17. Around the allotted time the four of them could feel a change in the air, like the feeling just before a storm. And then there was a tiny black ball of energy popped into existence, it twisted in ways that seemed almost impossible to the eye until it formed a large flat black circle that faded until it was just a shimmer in the air. Again through the portal came General Lapidern though this time she was without her rifle or helmets, her hair now hanging lose in a massive mess or curls. <â€So you have all returned, and you have not bought forces to subdue us. It is a start that we can hopefully build trust upon. If you are all ready then follow me through the portal.â€> She stood on the very edge of the area ready to return to her world.
  18. Blodeuwedd crouched down at the edges of the circle and quickly studied the Oghams making sure that this circle was what it said it was. Once she was happy on the details she took her goggles off and offered them to Subito. “The portals a circle just at your feet. As far as I understand it we all just step in and away we go.†She held out a hand and looked towards Red Stripe “You welcome to join us. Unless you’ve got something better to do?†She stood up an offered her other arm to Subito. “If you’re ready we can leave. I believe it traditional for everyone to do a little leap into the portal…â€
  19. Blodweudd blushed a little at Subito comment and did what any girl would do in the situation, she changed the subject. “She. Red Stripes a she, either that or she doesn’t mind what we call her…†Where exactly was this portal? She didn’t think that they would send her to find something she couldn’t see. Wait that was it, she was so caught up with everything she’d missed the obvious answer. Not quite feeling the cool girl that Subito thought she slipped out of her bag her goggles and put them on, there green lenses designed to detect magical energies. “Should be around here somewhere, it shouldn’t be too had to find.â€
  20. Seeing the runes made Blodeuwedd heart sink, Naudiz meant distress, it looked like she’d found the dead man switch. She pulled up the facemask and squatted down to get a better look at the runes with her goggles and also make sure Myrmidon could see what she was doing. She whispered to him not sure if his comms could be hack, despite his earlier assurances. “This mark here.†She held up the hand of the clone “It’s a rune it means distress. There using magic as there dead man switch. I’m not sure we going to be able to fool them, but I'll trust your judgment on this one.†With that she closed back down the visor and stood back up ready to follow Myrmidon on whatever plan he seemed to have. But she’d have Dyrnwyn near to hand, just in case.
  21. Blodeuwedd faced the same question she all did when talking about the Order, or at least the version she’d told the other and it was like a family to her. She quickly decided to tell as much of the truth as she could. “Well the family operates on two different path, one most technological the other the magical side. I dealt mostly with the technical so all this is still new to me. Of cause the Technical side also uses magical items, like Dyrnwyn here, and I’ve heard that the Seers Skype during some of their sessions. †She made sure to keep Red Stripe in view as they walked along. Maybe it was the thought of going home, but she was in quite a buoyant mode. “Anyway Red Strip sound much better in Welsh, Coch Sreipen, so does Ef sy'n gofyn cwestiynau gwirion.†Her tone was a little more drier than Subito but it seemed she was gently poking fun at him. “And if she didn’t like it I’m sure she’d let me know.â€
  22. Look up at Subito she gave a little smile waving her paperback around. “It’s called the Red Book of Hergest it’s one of the oldest book on Welsh myths and folktales. I’m sure it has a reference to the Afanc, that’s the old term for a Lake Monster. Its means beaver in Modern Welsh, so it’s probably a not a good idea to tell any Welsh ladies that your hunting for Afanc…†Blodeuwedd got up and brush herself down. “Our little Hawk friend is a Adar Llwch Gwin, incredibly intelligent animals, but they can be a little literal. So best not to tell them to attack anyone unless you want a face full of talons as well. She’s also knows where the portal is located.†She switched to Welsh and addressed the Hawk <â€Come on then little Red Strip finish your meal and show us where we have to go.â€>
  23. Despite herself she gave a broad grin Subito’s enthusiasm was infectious. “Well in a nutshell we’re going to Wales to subdue a Lake Monster and stop those trying to wake her.†It was delivered in her normal matter of fact manner “Meet me by the tree in about an hour.†After hanging up she looked at her new guide little Red Strip the Hawk. “If you want to grab something to eat now would be a good time. We’re all meeting up by the oak over there.†She pointed to the large Oak that seemed to have it in for Crow With all that sorted she made a dash for her dorm, not knowing if Tona was up or not she crept into the room, grabbing just Dyrnwyn and her traveling bag. Only pausing to leave Tona a note that she'd be away for a day or two she made her way back down to the ground of the Academy. Making her way over to the oak she made herself comfortable among the branches. She dug out her battered paperback copy of Red Book of Hergest. Looking for the story that involved the Afanc.
  24. She had expected to be called to help the Order at some point, it was a duty of the wielder of Dyrnwyn after all, but she’d hadn’t expected to go against a lake monster of all things. As far as she had understood it most of the countries lake Monsters had even been tamed or sedated, if one was waking up especially one like Afanc Llyn Brenig. She looked at the hawk and gave a little smile. “Do you understand English little hawk?†But who to ask along? She considered for a minute asking Tona. Not only was a capable warrior and a ranged weapon would be useful against a Afanc, but opening up a little about her own past might make Tona more likely to reveal a little of her own. But no she didn’t want to reveal the existence of the order too to many people that really left only on other person. She got out her phone and dialed the number “Subito how are things? Do you fancy another little trip? A little further this time…â€
