  1. Heraldo made some progress into the Airships corridors, but two Avian’s still blocked his path. His passage into the corridor managed to floor one of them but the other still stood. The Avian looked into the room at the other two heroes, but determining that he couldn’t get past Subito he instead made a slash at the young hero, but his attack did not harm at all. That wasn’t the only problem they faced further down the corridor three more Avains were preparing themselves, carrying rather strange looking weapons.
  2. Avian's Toughness save 1d20+5=6, so just one left. He'll make an attack on EH 1d20+5=20, so that's a hit but again no damage. So Lord Steam is up.
  3. “No, no of cause not. We’re not quite up to speed yet. But we can only do basic simulations at the moments. But we should be able to provide a suitable demonstration.†He gestured for them the follow and led them along a series of rather drab looking corridor. He explained the basic function of the machine whilst pointing all of the various rooms of the business. “The machine works by taking a snapshot of the brain, no mean feat in itself. We then strip everything out except the core personality. Which isn’t as easy as it sounds.†He gave a small laugh “Our aim is to create custom assistants with their own personalities, properly edited of cause, able to anticipate and even predict what the user wants and needs.†It was quite obvious to the pair as they were given the tour that he left out one room, quite a secure room with a complicated looking electronic lock. Merge caught Asad eye and gave a little nod, behind her was another Merge out of there guides eye line. She’d need a distraction to reach the door unnoticed however.
  4. Lucy raised a eyebrow, she’d be surprised if someone as attractive as Henry would be unable to find a partner. Unless of cause he was also dealing with the loss of someone? Could they have that in common? Or was there something else going on? It was hard to tell in a city like this. “I’m sure a man of your talents will be able to remember some of the details.†She gave a broad smile “I’d be delighted to go dining and dancing with you.†Taking a napkin she carefully wrote down her, well the houses, telephone number. She almost wrote the simpler number of the original telephone her father had owned. “Here’s my telephone number, you might have to deal with my landlady and her twenty questions…â€
  5. She’d thought she’d covered all the bases, all the trap falls of dealing with the Tylwyth Teg. But she forgot about their test of skills. She knew that in almost all ways the Queen would be physically and mentally superior to all of them. She needed some kind of win, but not something that would harm or embarrassed either of them. A wounded Queen couldn’t rule and her revenge would be terrible indeed. Running through her options all she had was her knowledge of the 21st century, it would have to be something not to serious that victory or defeat would have no consequences, was it that easy? <“If it pleases you my Majesty I have a game of skill and ability on a wondrous device the game is called Angry Birds. We’ll not compete directly, but decided who can score the best over several levels.â€> She’d never really developed the taste for such games so this part was a shot in the dark <“If it pleases you may I humbly request that we choose a champion for this test of skill, I beseech you to allow Subito to be our champion…â€>
  6. Of all the stupid, pig-headed, ill-judged and really really sweet thing that Amir could have done was to ask Agnus to a party like this. She knew they’d agreed to try dating again, but did he have to start in such a dramatic fashion? It had taken her most of the week to find just the perfect dress, not to posh but not to casual. She’d almost considered doing a Lady Gaga and just going for something outrageous, but in the end she’d gone for an asymmetrical floral gown. With a day spent doing her make-up and taming her hair, which took most of the time, she hadn’t had a chance to relax. Only now she could finally relax, at least until had to face the press when the fact that they would dating would become public knowledge. It had been a while since she had to face people in any kind of numbers and the first that she since had become stuck as Young Britannia. It was especially noticeable as in her heel the two of them were about the same height. “Why thank you Mr Misri. You scrub up quite nicely yourself.†Out of habit she adjusted his tie; much like how her Mum always did to her Dad “Shall we go face our fans now?â€
  7. The man was in the process of wiping down a chair before sitting down on it, more perched on its edge. “You are lucky no to be involved in the world of politics; sometime I wished I’d stayed a simple soldier like yourself. You may call me Edmond.†He sat studying Rene for a few moments before speaking again. “The council is divided into various groups, many who oppose this Reign of Terror and wish to over throw Robespierre. At the moment the groups are still to disparate to act, but soon we shall unite and end all this.†He waved his hand around “But that makes the Countess here a pawn in our games if she falls into Robespierre hands he will use her to prop up his government. Other will however use her in exactly the same way. I believe that we should achieve our goals without such symbols. I suggest we hide her away until everything settles down.â€
  8. “Hmmm I don’t know much about Bluegrass, they didn’t play it one the radio when I was growing up. Well they didn’t play anything decent back then." She gave a little smile “Maybe you could show me sometime, if you don’t mind seeing me again that is…†she tried to sound casual about it; he seemed the type that to forward a woman would spook him. “To be honest what I really love is the atmosphere and just the sheer joy of the dancing, there was the danger as well, though that got taken away when they legalized alcohol.â€
  9. Blodeuwedd raised an eyebrow at Subito subtle suggestion that they were a couple. She was going to wait for better time, but now would be as good as any. “I’m just going to borrow him for a moment Elias, this shouldn’t take too long.†Without waiting for an answer she began guiding Subito of away into forest “And don’t even think of trying to easy drop in any way or well you know what I’ll do.†She didn’t have any particular malice planned for Elias but sometimes you just need to be blunt with him to get the point across. After a reasonable distance she stopped in a small clearing, she turned around and put a finger on Subito lips. “Just don’t speak for a moment, there’s something I need to say. What everyone calls Cerys is only part of who I am, there’s more to me than that. You’ve seen some of it but there’s still something you still don’t know about me, that I can’t tell you right now. The only way that I could tell you most of it is if you become an Associate from the order, then you could learn the more important truths.†Her face took on a more serious look “But you couldn’t tell anyone what you learned, literally, the ritual would set a Tynged on you stopping you telling anyone. There a ceremony we hold back home around the New Year I’d like you to come be there and become an associate.†She managed a small smile. “After that we can try to be a couple, I can’t promise anything but it’ll be fun trying.â€
  10. Blodeuwedd stood back a slight distance, hidden in the shadow on the lookout for any possible trouble makers. There was still a chance that the man allies could be nearby. She was close enough however to listen into their effort’s at interrogation. She knew Tona and Sam well enough that they would want to go rushing off to deal with the dealer and his friend, possibly a bodyguard? “Whilst I’m just as keen as you all to just rush in and deal with these dealers. I think we need to stop and consider some form of plan.†She looked down at the man and couldn’t help to feel some kind of concern for him, despite all he had done. “And I suggest we also call for an ambulance for this man, some of these drugs can be quite deadly.â€
  11. Interest : Another player I'm afraid, and I'm also up for a team-up if the stories mesh. Setting : As I said above 30's Harlem or equivalent. Character : I'm thinking a mostly de-powered Agnus, especial as several or her powers are on the ban list. Ending : I was thinking of a classic revenge story with Agnus trying to catch and possibly kill the person who killed her man. So I'm thinking at best a bitter sweet ending...
  12. Merge's Will save 1d20+8=27, so no worries there. For YB I'm spending a HP for a burst effect, missing Starlight of cause . So I'm using : Damage 6 (Extra : Area (General Burst), Selective Attack) Reflex save 1d20+8=14, and her Toughness save 1d20+10-2=14. So poor Merge is down.
  13. Merge didn’t seemed to be phased by Starlight’s attack, or her words, in the slightest. “Please girlfriend is that really the best you’ve got?" A host of the Merge’s taunted. Agnus meanwhile was thinking about way to stop as many Merge’s as she could without harming Starlight. She had done massive burst of light before but always as a direct burst from her aura, so not to damage her friend. It would take her all her concentration to convince all the photons around them both to rush away from around the two. But she had enough time to work in a retort “No this girlfriend is the best we’ve got.†The room was a few second later filled with a massive burst of light that filled most of the studio, with a little bubble around them. And as the light cleared they could see the multitude of Merge’s collapsing, with most of them vanishing before they hit the ground until just one unconscious Merge was left.
  14. Lucy gave him a slightly give out an overall bemused look, she wasn’t exactly hiding the truth but she’d rather he worked it out on his own. “Well I’m just an old fashion kind of girl. I don’t think the term has been used since the twenties, though I did spend a few decades away from popular culture. Though something’s just don’t go out of fashion.†She patted her bob cut “And then again some people still listen to Jazz songs from the twenties and dance the Charleston†she gave a wistful smile “For which I’m quite grateful. Modern dancing is fine in its own way, but I’ve just love all those Jazz dances.â€
  15. Lucy gave a little apologetic smile but choose now to comment on the source of his embarrassment. “My older brother was a Marine, he served in Haiti. At the time remember wishing I could travel like him, I was a bit of tomboy back them and though I could do anything he could." she gave a little grin "Well I guess I never lost that bit. Of cause when a got a little older I spent my time hanging around with my flapper friends and forgot my childhood dreams. And despite all that I still somehow managed to earn a law degree.†There was a hint of pride in her voice. “I suppose it was my own way of help out, and in my own small way I did my part, and proving again I could do better than the boys.†It was probably a little too early in the day to casually discuss the price she’d paid.
  16. Blodeuwedd wasn’t total stranger to magic, whilst she didn’t practice any of the mystical arts she knew enough about this various form and practices, so the teleport itself didn't bothered her in the slightest. As the mystically energies swirled around them however she almost lost her cool for a second, she really hadn’t expect such dark magic’s. Stepping out of the closet she considered her next move, she had a bad habit of chasing mysteries, and her friends seemed to have mysteries in spades. Still it was a conversation for another time. She crossed the room and took Dyrnwyn from its ornately carved stand. “You know Dyrnwyn isn’t the only magical item I own, these goggles also detect magical energies.†She tapped one of the glowing green lenses with the hilt of Dyrnwyn “There must be a interesting story around the magic your using, and I’d like to think that when you’re ready you’ll tell me about it. But right now Tona and Mali need our helps so let’s go.â€
  17. Thinking about it I can see Angus as a Jazz singer in a club in Harlem (or the Freedom equivalent).
  18. Lucy face set into a grim visage. She probably knew more about his, and her, Master than he thought, but there was still something she didn’t know. She suspected he wasn’t about to tell her, and she really didn’t have the time. “Oh I know all about the Master and his little experiments. I promised him I’d stop them if I found them.†standing up she casually brushes herself down “This experiment is now officially closed. You can tell me where to find him, or I’ll just leave you her for the FCPD. I’ve heard they’ve got equipment to deal with your kind.â€
  19. Rene heard the sound of someone clapping; standing in the doorway was a rather dapper young man. “You achieve to capture an possible enemy of France, and yet your artist soul still shines out. It seems the young lady was right about your talents.†His voice was cultured, but had the hint of a more humble upbringing. “The young lady suggested we keep The Countess safe until certain elements in the Council are removed.†Looking at Rene he raised an eyebrow “Ah you haven’t been told about all this have you?â€
  20. Blodeuwedd raised an eyebrow at Sam comments, but she could see that her heart was in the right place. She didn’t think that they were really enough of a threat to bring Dyrnwyn, but it wouldn’t hurt to have Dyrnwyn to hand. “It sound like’s an excellent plan. Like Sam said we’ll catch you both up.†With that she turned back to Sam “So exactly how much information do you need to find my room? There are lot of people in the Dorms I’d hate to barge in unannounced.†With that Blodeuwedd provided Sam with the information required. She’d be interested to see how Sam teleport actually worked.
  21. Ah Intimidate the one skill I'll determined never to give her . I'm going on sheer Charisma 1d20+3=10, so a tiny bit more.
  22. With a surprised sound not unlike a squawk the Avian stuck by Lord Steam mercy bullet was bought down in a flurry of feathers. The other two still seemed to be determined them to stop the heroes. With some grace Blodeuwedd leapt across the table, drawing Dyrnwyn as she did. She landed near Lord Steam the eldritch flames of the sword casting a soft blue light over them all. “The corridor would be our best means of escape, they should limit the number of them than can attack. Of cause it will limit us a bit, but we have the advantage of ranged weapons.†04:59:54:00
  23. Avian Toughness save 1d20+5=23. So one goes down. Blod will draw her weapon and move up to support. And we're back round to EH.
