  1. Realistically this would require a jury-rig repair. The DC base I would say is 25 (Cutting edge equipment), -5 for Jury Rigging, and +5 for being in a spinning plane tumbling to earth! (so DC 25). Regarding enhanced INT - I am inclined to say as you injected the nanites into Gremlin, you may be bereft of this power (which would certainly be worth an HP as a power loss), but as you understand Dok best, I leave that to your judgement about how that would "work".
  2. Got the job woohoo! Whilst this means I have more time than the past few weeks of anxiety, it alsoeans moving house. So I wont be quite up to my normal heavy gmimg.. That may be a good thing for some Hurrah!
  3. Post away and onto next round! Wave eye is up!
  4. There was some speculation in the book about the cult of that time summoning something or someone from the future as a weapon. The details of the ritual were not clear.
  5. Just a note: the man is walking towards the chant. A DC 10 INT check from Brittania (+4 with eidetic memory) to recall a reference about time travel from the book
  6. First off, 1 HP for missing, and generally entertaining me with that post Wave-Eye Injured x1, HP 3 Skelingtons: Swim and Attack - they are actually quite fast underwater (well, they have had 6000 years to practice...) 10 Attacks: 1d20+4=15, 1d20+4=20, 1d20+4=16, 1d20+4=15, 1d20+4=9, 1d20+4=14, 1d20+4=8, 1d20+4=19, 1d20+4=20, 1d20+4=15 With a defence of 18, that is 3 hits, all DC 18 Toughness saves (Lethal Damage from Spears and Knives) - Note your pre existing bullet wound injury for toughness saves! Skull Face: Standard Action Intimidate: 1d20+20=31! match that with Will save or demoralised next round! Awaiting your saves before posting.
  7. GM Deep in the sewers, both Young Brittania and El Heraldo could hear the footsteps of the man, and the light of his flashlight in the distance. He was walking fast, but not running. There sense of smell was, of course, instantly gratified by the fetid odour of the Sewers. In the distance, the amazing hearing of El Heraldo could pick up something...a chant, repeated over and over. He could understand the latin phrases as... Lemuria, Lemuria, we praise your might. The might of Lemuria. Break the walls of time, Lemuria the mighty. Throught the gates of time we break...
  8. Could we have some notice rolls please, hearing! Its at 500 feet: so normal hearing wont catch it. Subito/El H can make a normal roll DC 10.
  9. "I suspect you know more about vampires than me..." replied Rene. "It is true, I have dealt with my fare share of undead, and necromancers, in my time" he pondered "right back, in the beginning, in ze Revolution, I burnt down the house of Necromme with Broken Crow. And I have always harboured a particular distrust of ze dark arts..." he rambled on. "But vampires...they are a different breed to ze creatures I have faced. Oh, I know ze stories, and have even faced off some in ze past. Sunlight, water, garlic. All these things are true..." "But this master, he is an experimenter, is he not? more subtle, more crafty than your average blood sucker. How old is he? you will be facing the cunning of centuries, or longer, my dear. " "My observation is this. He does not wish to harm you. Or at least, has no desire to. And you hold no blood for his feral lusts. So, in this regard, you may be at an advantage. "
  10. Initiative Rolls! 10 Skeletal Warriors: 1d20+4=14 (they are minions) 1d20+0=14 for Skull Face (not a minion!), Skeletons win tie breaker.
  11. GM "Nochehuatl, Nochehuatl, Nochehuatl!" came the mumblings across the field of skeletons. "Yes!" shouted Skull-Face "Nochehuatl!" he screamed. "The destroyer! The slayer! I brought him to you!" came his voice, curdling with fury. "For centuries and millenia I waited, so long, so bitter, so angry, that I hardly recall the faces of my beloved family that drowned in the blood the slayer had spilled! Untold ages, swearing never to rest! listening, always listening! my words breathing through the ocean currents to any and all...and then, I heard the slayer had returned!" "Whilst I could not humiliate him on the land, I could not expose him for what he was, and let our ancestors above punish him, humiliate him...I did bring him here for our vengeance!" "Muaahahahaha!" came the insane cackle from the Skull. "Let your death screams echo throughout the seven sea's, slayer!" he spat at Wave-Eye. And all around him, the skeletal warriors advanced!
  12. GM Through the dark, fetid, water, the sound of groans and creaking bones slowly filtered towards Wave-Eye. "I know plenty of people here...." snarled Skull-Face in an angry, ominious tone. "Do you?" it asked, pointedly. The water seemed heavy, ripe with blackness and despair, sucking Wave-Eye and Skull-Face down to the ground. From all around him, the ancient bones of long-slain warriors rose. "Who goes there?" came the whispers from all around him, as the skeletons emerged in the black depths, gripping shield and spear and knife.
  13. WIS Check: You are aware, in this dim cavern, of a chill running down your spine - the place is alive with undead, curses, etc... History Check: The bones and the weapons are those of the Ancient America's and Atlantis..around 4000B.C... .... ....the time of his birth and the terrible wars he fought in! (details up to you!).
  14. Ok! Dok: Devices are broken but are at this juncture Repairable! All: The Plane is tumbling and spinning and plummeting. This will cause a variety of effects: 1. Reflex Save DC 15 to hold onto something, or the bashing around will mean a DC 20 Toughness save. 2. Fort Save DC 15 or sickened (fail by 5 Nauseated) from the rotation and the sensation of weightlessness. 3. Whilst falling, -4 to attack and skill checks, unless you have Environmental Adaptation (Low or Zero Gravity).
  15. GM "Its..." came the reply from a green and white face, before being interrupted. The plane lurched, and with another explosion, propelled itself forward, downwards, and into a ferocious spin. All the passengers were hurtled, brutally around the passenger compartment. "I've lost control!" came the scream from the Pilot deck "we're going down!!!!" Smoke belching from the destroyed wing, and the other engine misfiring, the plane dived and spun, screaming back to earth from its high position. Even at their phenomenal altitude, it would not be long until they hit ground level...wherever that might be....

  17. Despite the Carnage, the youth (well, nearly everyone was young compared to Rene, but in this case the adjective was deserved) of the villain stayed his hand. He had no wish to fight the infernal power he was seeing with a blistering eruption of his own arcane prowess. "Summoning such creatures is not ze wisest of actions, my friend!" he called out "restrain yourself, lest your recklessness consume you!" Having said that, he once again reached out and produced his own painting, summoning a spiralling, twisting network of iron chains that fell from the sky right onto the demon-summoner.
  18. Snaring the Villain 2! 1d20+10=29 should hit! so DC 22 Snare (Reflex) Save.
  19. "I haven't worn a dress for, oh, a century..." replied Rene wistfully "..there was this particularly wild party in Paris held by..." He paused. "Ahem, anyway, I doubt I have the figure for it these days..." he continued, patting his midriff. He was not overweight, but at his age, his body had sagged a little. Still, for over twohundred years of age, he was looking pretty good. "But in other regards, I am at your disposal. What do you need?"
  20. "What on earth is that..? are you...? who...?" said a confused Supercape, lagging just behind Ironclad, maintaining the particular array of quantum strings that he had carefully erected to shield them (hopefully) against the Terminus Energy. The creature, he reminded himself, was not necessarily malign, or dangerous, based just on it's appearance. "Hold your fire!" he whispered to Ironclad. "Just what is going on here?" he said with more strength to his voice. "And, more importantly, how do we stop it?"
  21. Charge! (as in, Charge Rules!) 1d20+6=9, 1d20+6=13, 1d20+6=17 So a baseball bat and a crowbar to the face! DC 19 Toughness check x2
  22. GM "Ow!" yelped Gremlin as the Doktor's Nanites crawled over his skin, distorting it slightly. "You don't give up do you?" he shouted over the wind at the Doktor "I just hope this hurts you as much as it hurt's me!" he said, shivering with the effects of the nanites. "Don't you see, my crazy maker! You designed me because of your own weakness! I am stronger than you!" it gloated. "You made me out of fear!" it shouted "but fortunately, I am not blessed with such weaknesses. I may have copied your own desire for self defeat, by bringing this girl on board...and her very annoying little talents have proved most vexing...but unlike you, I can push the button!" And with that, Gremlin laughed, and thrust down both of its nailed claws into the wing, splintering and tearing it. The engine exploded, hurling the still laughing Gremlin off into space, and shredding the wing right off the plane, which promptly started diving in an uncontrolled spin, straight down to earth!
  23. Sounds Good to me! Drain Toughness 14 roll - Due to half immunity to tech, down to a Drain Toughness 7 effect. Reflex Save: 1d20+12=22 Safe! And now....! Gremlin has a powerful ability to rend technology (A Disintegrate 8 effect!). I am going to "wing" this (pardon the pun) and, giving you both 1 HP for the fiat, say he destroys the wing of the plane, sending it spiralling down to earth! Gremlin is thrown off into the void! Glow, could you make a DC 20 Reflex check to get back inside before also being flung off! And Just in case the little nipper is seen again: Gremlin: Injured, -2 Toughness drain. NB: Scuffles, you are of course free to voluntarily fail that reflex roll and go spinning off into the edges of earth's atmosphere! If Glow is thrown off, the bubble goes with her, still protecting her, but Dok needs to make a Cold Environmental Fort Check! Dok - 2 HP - Nauseated, Bruised x2, Fatigued. Glow - 3 HP - Injured x2, Fatigued (and possibly spinning of a broken off wing down to earth!) NB: Scuffles you are of course free to voluntarily fail that reflex roll for 1 HP, and going spinning off on the wing, plummeting to earth!
  24. Could I have a direct WISdom check please DC 10 (and 20 for higher insight). Also, a Knowledge (History) Check if you have it, otherwise an untrained INT roll DC 10 (and 20 for higher insight).
