  1. "As opposed to what? Inappropriate action?" said Rene looking carefully at Revenant. "Oui, I know your meaning. I understand" he said, irritated, waving a hand "but appropriate is a curious beast..." he answered cryptically. "And a different one for every soul..." He straightened up and rubbed his back. "Goodnight, Monsieur Jacque..." he said politely. The air around the youth seemed hazy, faint, and soporific, like heavy summer heat and narcotic smells. The Youth looked up at Rene quizzically, before his eyelids sagged and he slumped into his chair, quite asleep. "I'll give him a good rest" he explained to Revenant "and a good meal if he insists on waking up despite my intentions. But he should not bother, for now..." "As for keeping my eyes on you...I am sure I could pull something out ze hat..." he smiled, before whipping off his beret, sticking his hand in, and pulling out a rather large mouse. "This will do!" he said, looking directly at the mouse, who nodded. He then handed the creature to Young Brittania. "My little friend here can tell me if there is any problems..."
  2. GM With a mighty leap, and a mighty swing, Sam's enormous fist crashed full on into Voltage. This time, the hero could not move out of the way fast enough, he was caught full on by a haymaker from his brother - all one hundred feet of enraged brother! .... .... Calling all units! Calling all units! The giant is heading down Pikehead Street! Its...Its...Enormous! Try and head him...aaaggghh! zzzt... crackle.... As Voltage came round, he tuned into the radio...he could not tell how long he had been out, but the Radio Signals from the police were screaming in his pounding head. Around him, he could see a small crater and debris. He had been knocked clear through the sky, where...he could not tell, but his landing had been enough to cause some local damage...

  4. Awesome! 1 Hero Point for the fail! Voltage - 1 HP - Bruised x2, Staggered, Unconscious! Could you make a recovery roll DC 10 to recover from unconsiousness (as many as needed, +1 per additional roll...gives me an idea how soon you wake up!).
  5. Escape Artist DC 10 Check to get through the crack! (Other methods entertained of course!)
  6. GM "You will never escape! Never!!!!" yelled Skull Face as Wave-Eye neared the crack in the earth that lead up to the ocean proper. Behind him, a stream of undead, slower but relentless, some nearer and some father. The odd spear was thrown, but they sailed slowly and shortly in the deep pressure of this forgotten place. One or two sailed lazily past Wave-Eye before slowing and drifting back down. With a good, but not comfortable lead, Wave Eye reached the small crack he had squeezed through to get down to the forgotten cave...it looked tighter than before...
  7. Jack Jackson was spinning along with the plane, his face as white as a ghost, with a touch of green. "Disaster...from...down..." he shouted back, before crashing head first onto the floor of the plane as it revolved, sending his eyes rolling. "...I knew you would be the death of me..." he mumbled at Glow as his consciousness faded. As the other passengers screamed and yelled in fear, to unsettled even to succumb to the inevitable nausea, the plane slowly righted itself as it plummeted to the earth. The other wing, whilst intact, had been shut down, to prevent the inevitable spin it caused. "Can't fly with one wing...." yelled the Captain. "Cant....fly...at all!" he added quickly, as the Plane continued to plummit to the ever-nearing earth. As it started hitting the atmosphere, the turbulence started, and the plane started to heat up...
  8. Could I have some initiative rolls please? Also : Arcane Knowledge rolls if you have them (trained only DC 20)
  9. You can stop ALL of the spin! Post away! DOk, that eliminates skill penalty of -5, although still in free fall zero g type environment
  10. GM The force of Wave-Eye spread through the watery depths, blasting the Skeletons full on, shattering bone, shield, and spear in it's wake... "Curse you!" screamed Skull-Face from his landing spot "There will be no respite, no absolution for your murderous hands! It must seem so familiar...killing this army once again! foul creature!" All around him, on the fields of the death, was motion. An army was arising, not just ten but hundreds of the slain, slowly waking. Some near, some far, all shifting in the silt. "You can't fight a whole army, even with your blood lust!" laughed Skull-Face...

  13. Can I check? As the skelingtons are minions you could take 10 and hit them all? (If you want to miss, thats an HP!)
  14. Lord Steam nodded, attentively listening to both the Captain and Wave-Eye respectively. "Interesting, Interesting!" he concluded "And if my amphibious friend here has a chance of understanding the foreign ramblings of your ship-hand Eric, then I suggest we visit him...please lead on, Captain...!" As they made to move off, he flipped in an off-hand casual question. "But you lost me at one point captain...why exactly did you take a different route home? a scenic one, at that...." he asked in polite and innocent tones...
  15. GM The last Print swung wide with his crowbar, his face contorted with fury. "You...ain't...ever...gonna...get...Harry!" he grunted, between wild and ineffective swings. Over the radio, the Police Co-ordinator answered Protectron... Roger Roger Protectron...Emergency Services already en route...Police have established a perimeter...we are awaiting... Hold on!... Reports of Police car being subdued just north of gym...wait... Its Harry Print!...It's lots of Harry Print! Please Advise! Print seems to be wearing Police Outfits...Firing heard...
  16. Crowbar boxer's swing! 1d20+4=12 Miss! Given your take 10 and general PL awesomeness, feel free to narrate KO'ing / Whatevering you wish to do with the last guy...!
  17. Supercape sighed. Deception was not really his thing. With a sparkle and a shimmer, the overalls were replaced by the magnificent, spotless blue and white costume of Supercape. "It's Supercape!" he proclaimed, hands open wide, with a half shrug and an akward smile. "I suggest you all evacuate the building immediately" he continued "I have detected a very dangerous spacial anomaly growing inside of the building...one I must attend to immediately!" he emphasised with an upheld finger. "Have any of you noticed anything suspicious on this floor?" he asked.
  18. "Ah...no..." replied Supercape cautiously back at 'Thomas' "I just gotta check out through there..." he said, pointing directly past the three men on the second floor. "Got some strange fluctuations on the power grid. The fella's down at engineering said they needed some eyes on the scene, see if they can figure out whats eating up the juice!" he replied, with as straight a face as he could muster. He could do without the delay, he thought, aware of the danger the growing irregularity posed. Thus galvanised, he stepped forward without waiting for an answer.
  19. GM ...Further Down the Sewer... It was a broken down tunnel in a crumbling part of the network. The smell was actually slighter better here, even if not pleasant. The cowled figures, all seven of them, lit by candlelight, encircled a well dressed man in antiquated clothes and slicked back hair. His green eyes burned with fierce intelligence. To one side stood the tall Italian man in dark overcoat and hat, fingering the book. The chanting continued, unabated, the concentration palpable. A distortion hit the air around the well dressed man in the centre, who smiled a smile of pure gratification. "It is time! to rewrite history!" he laughed, as the distortion and pressure in the air hit a crescendo.
  20. GM The Skeletons swam upwards, despite the oppressive currents, and swam with surprising speed towards the aquatic hero. "Get ready to swim with the fishes, as the saying goes!" yelled a cackling Skull Face, resting on the dark dirty of the sea bed, in a position that, whilst askew, still fortunately granted him an excellent view of the scenery. "Revenge! Revenge! REVENGE!!!" he yelled, as the warriors for the past thrust, jabbed, and pummelled with their rotting weapons...
