  1. Since most of his powers are either touch or perception ranged, I see no reason to invest in an attack bonus for ranged attacks. As for the arms, I guess I could just add something in the description about having arms that are grotesquely out of proportion to the rest of the body or I can just increase his height. As for the other two, I'll fix them tommorow when I have more time.
  2. Players Name: Avalon® Power Level: 10 Characters Name: Baalberith Alternate Identity: “The Executioner†Height: 6'6" Weight: 260 lbs. Hair: None Eyes: Red pinpricks of mystical flame Description: Usually clad in a long, flowing robe covered in infernal runes that seem to randomly change while observed, Baalberith stands at around six feet and six inches with long, bony arms that almost reach his ankles. He is a fighter at heart but he has no qualms about fighting dirty and using what's left of his magic to put things in his favor. When he really begins to get in the mood to fight, he removes his robe to reveal another two pairs of arms that allow him to manhandle even the most powerful heroes. History: For untold millennia ancient pacts, treaties, oaths and spells have kept the legions of the Infernal dimensions from attacking en-masse the Prime Material realm. The rulers, known as the Lords of the Nine, were content with the current situation and spent their time in endless plots of intrigue against one another. Only one of them wanted more. His name was Baalberith, also known as The Executioner. He was one of the Nine and ruling a third of the infinite planes of the Abyss was not enough for him. He wanted more and the Prime Material plane was in his sights for he discovered hidden in the possessions of a newly arrived soul within his demense a spell that will bypass all the restrictions wrought in the past and be able to bring an army composed of 666 legions past the wards and unnoticed by the Master Mage. All seemed well and the ritual was well underway when armies from the remaining eight lords attempted to disrupt it. Hurriedly, Baalberith attempted to finish the spell but something went wrong at the last minute and he ended up alone on the Prime Material World with only a infinetissimal fraction of his power and without any of his legions with him. Now he must find a way to regain his power and take revenge on the other eight for their transgressions while conquering this plane in the process. 3. Well that powerset is soon to become moot since I'll be taking it out to make things fit.
  4. I'd like to trim him down first before posting him in the Char bank. I'll most likely replace Stygwyr with this guy. The "Unleashed Demonic Arms" powerset represents using all of his six arms at once in attacking the enemy. I'd like to have him retain his magic array. I would be more amenable to losing the "Unleashed Demonic Arms" powerset. He will look like this: http://www.onemanga.com/Mahou_Sensei_Negima!/218/04/

Any suggestions?
  6. Stygwyr gains one bruise from the attack: Toughness =19 Mongrel now faces a DC 22 Fortitude save against damage. Currently: 1 bruise on Stygwyr

The blow seems to knock some of the wind out of Stygwyr and nothing more. "Yes! Get all rilled up. It will make your blood all the more sweeter once I have my way with you." "I'll add something to give this a little more zest." Suddenly the woman begins to redden as all the blood within her attempts to forcibly evacute her by any means necessary.
  8. Avalon

    Character Idea

I think there's a creature like that in the Harry Potter universe. They are said to make great pets for kids.
  9. Stygwyr suddenly bursts out of the pavement some distance away from Rant with both claws aimed at the other's chest. "Do not think that I have escaped from the battlefield young one. I will just pick you all off at my leisure." He attempts to stab the young freedom fighter before diving headfirst back into the ground.
  10. I'll be continuing the attack. I didn't know if it was my turn yet. Attack roll vs. Rant: (1d20+9=21)
  11. It was the permeate 2 with move-by attack remember? We discussed it via PM.
  12. How about if you guys were tasked by Elderich to defeat the cultists (and Stygwyr) who are trying to quicken Leviathan's awakening while he tries to slow down the process from Leviathan's side?
  13. What I was thinking is what if we could have everyone involved? To those who have the DnD book Elder Evils, try to look up on the entry there for Leviathan. That's more or less what I plan to do with this. So things would go something like this: Stygwyr finds a spire rising up from the middle of the ocean and learns there of the slumbering Leviathan. He goes back to Freedom City and proceeds to perform rituals/steal people/etc. to awake the elder evil. Then the heroes (or anyone else for that matter) try to stop him and halt the ceremony/ceremonies.
  14. Avalon

    Character Idea

I think something like nemesis or reflexive memory would cost more per rank.
  15. I'll start it off around late June. It will be more of a gradual build-up, however, with thing like giant sea monsters and natural disasters up first.
  16. Would something like doing a ritual to free someone or something be considered related to the theme? See http://www.endlessflight.net/freedom/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=1071 for reference.
  17. I've been reading from one of the last 3.5 ed books titled the Elder Evils and that got my head churning. What if one of the primordial beings lost in creation arrives back/awakens into the modern world. Stuff like strange weather and other effects herald its arrival and there are those who seek to hasten its return. Anyone interested in something like this?
  18. Grimalkin's attack hits a seam in the drone's armor and it crumples to the ground from the blow. Seeing that the turn of events is not to his liking, Stygwyr issues new order to the remaining drones. "Drones, retreat back to base. I'll handle them myself..." Hearing his order, the drones rise up into the air and speed away quickly into the horizon. "Now, where was I? Oh yes... How effectively can you fight if your organs begin to rot and fester? Taking a deep breath, he breathes out a poisonous cloud onto the heroes then sinks down fifty feet into the pavement.
  19. Toughness save for the 'drone that Grim hit: 1d20+8=19 It's a DC 20 ref save to halve the effect of the Constitution drain cone effect and a DC 20 fort save vs the drain itself.
  20. 1) Stygwyr the Bloodseeker 2) A chronicle of Stygwyr's journey back to Freedom City that bridges the gap between his debut battle with Captain Wonder and his current one with Mongrel Angel. 3) Anyone is free to join but most likely heroes who venture away from Freedom City. Stygwyr is probably in the Atlantic right now after being tossed by Captain Wonder. 4) 3 (including the thread for his journey right now)
  21. Reflex save DC 20 against Stygwyr's Binding Earth ability

"Is that all you've got little one? That...won't be enough...against me." As he says this, a smile slowly creeps its way through Stygwyr's face. "I am hungry. I will finish you off...quickly." Concentrating for a moment, he quickly raises his other hand and the earth beneath the woman's feet rises up to entrap her in a rocky embrace.
