  1. Refs, I was wondering if this power combination would be allowed here: Absorb Memories [super Senses 4 (Postcognition; Flaws: Limited to Memories of People Consumed [-1]; 2pp)] Consume [Corrosion 8 (Flaws: Side Effect – Stunned [-1], Distracting [-1], Requires a Grapple Check [-1]; 4pp)] Assume Form [Morph 6 (Any Humanoid; Flaws: Limited to People Consumed [-1]; 6 pp) What would happen if this would be made into an AP? Would I lose the ability to absorb memories and assume the form of my consumed subjects if I switch out the array and then switch back in?
  2. Untrained Knowledge (Life Science) check (1d20+4=19)
  3. The Vestige is hurled upward as gravity reverses itself in his immediate vicinity. He finds himself flung skyward with the building's ceiling being not even a hindrance to his progress. The impact must have affected him, however, since he doesn't even manage to curse or hurl insults towards the cosmic hero Dark Star. A few moments later, he stops ascending and instead floats in mid-air some fifty feet above the ground.
  4. Cy, in which direction did you fly to?
  5. You know, I think I can make an attack even without surging.
  6. Looks like that bonus will be wasted quote. It seems I'm being pinned by Dark Star's gravity control. If I escape out of it now, I have to TP out of it then surge to just get an attack.
  7. I guess I it all depends on when I will have The Vestige attack someone to break the proceedings then. Something like after both sides have presented their opening statements. How's that sound?
  8. Sorry about the confusion. I had activated my Incantation of Lightning ability two rounds before Cyroa and Alderwitch arrived at the scene in preparation of taking out a bunch of mooks. The next round, I took them out using the Obsidian Blade ability. I had also described it in my next post as a tool in attempting to intimidate Dark Star.
  9. Dark Star's powerful blast hits The Vestige square on the chest but he is unfazed. Officer Morris can only stare in awe as the person that practically decimated the entire precinct stand right in front of him and the cosmic-powered Dark Star shrug off one of the hero's gravitic blasts. "Was that supposed to fell me spirit? I have felt worse and survived more than that. I ask you, have you ever been trapped for untold millenia without realizing if you were still part of the living? That you couldn't feel anything and be a formless mass? I suppose, though, that you probably don't feel anything either. Still, I have given you the respect due for an honored dead and allowed you a chance to leave but it seems that you wish to cease your own existence once and for all. I will be happy to assist you with that. That scum on the other hand..." The Vestige dashes forward and strikes both the officer and Dark Star with a series of rapid blows that batter their respective material and immaterial forms. The officer falls to the ground in a heap but not before letting out an ear-splitting scream as every bone in his arms and legs was broken in three.
  10. Cy, you forgot to roll against my intimidation check from the previous round. It may affect some things. edit: It seems got karma'd in my attack. Attack vs. Popo 7 and Dark Star (1d20+8=9) Using hero point to reroll: Attack vs. Popo 7 and Dark Star. HP used (1d20.minroll(11)+8=23). Hits Cy, you get a DC 29 toughness save for your trouble thanks to a +2 bonus from Autofire. The officer is flat-out KO'ed since it's an impossible save for him.
  11. Okay, here it goes... It really does seem that it could do without the Commander part. It just sounded good, that's all. Now his Concealment is an spell he uses to emulate what he felt being essentially a formless spirit trapped in that tomb in the Middle East (that's some background stuff that I have to elaborate upon sometime soon) and lacking any sensation whatsoever. He twists that now so that is how everyone else percieves him (or doesn't). He is essentially doesn't exist in anyone's perception until he strikes. The rest of the powers aside from the teleport are some of the skills The Warrior of the Countless Blade has picked up in his time training (also something needed to be fleshed out sometime soon). Is that enough of an explanation Doc? Also, the concealment makes his teleport subtle too right?
  12. Sorry everyone, I've been really busy with school work. Hopefully things will clear up by tomorrow.
  13. Forgot to spell out the power stunt. Sorry Doc. The Vestige will be powerstunting the following off of his Magic Array: "Hunter and Commander" -Concealment 10 (All Senses, Passive [-1], Close Range) -Enhanced Feats 3 (Benefit [Tactician], Master Plan, Sneak Attack) -Enhanced Skills 16 (Knowledge - Tactics +12 [8r], Stealth +13 [8r]) -Strike 2 ("Hunter's Blade"; Improved Critical 2, Mighty) -Teleport 1 (Affects Others [+1]) *Benefit (Tactician) is basically Benefit (Use Knowledge - Tactics for Master Plan checks) Concealment does include silencing my flight right? Master Plan roll =20. So that's a +2.
  14. The air shimmers for a moment over the courthouse as The Vestige once again enters this plane of existence. It seems that they have caught the avatar of chaos and subjecting them to their heathen judicial processes. That will not do. The more he is out here and causing mayhem means more time for me to do things unmolested. He must be freed. He then blinks out of existence and appears unseen inside the courtroom. Floating up to the ceiling, he waits and plans for the opportune moment to break the Captain free.
  15. Just a heads up. The STAR Squad team would be arriving in 3 rounds.
  16. "Stand aside spirit. You have no business here. Unless... you wish to escort this filthy heathen to whatever afterlife the fates have deemed fit for him. Do not think that you will be immune to what I may bear for I know that you will bleed and be rendered asunder by my hand." To add emphasis to his threat, The Vestige gives his massive sword a twirl which catches the last rays of the setting sun on its edge. Morris, meanwhile, cowers underneath a table with a phone in his hands. A voice on the other end can be heard speaking. "...anks officer Morris. A team of STAR squad officers are en route."
  17. I'll post something for The Vestige later. A question first. Would it be possible to formulate a master plan while watching the proceedings from the inside?
  18. Actually, Popo 16 has already been KO'ed. It's Popo 7 that's still alive. Initiative looks like this: Captain Knievel - Init 29 - fine Dark Star - Init 14 - fine Popo [16] - Init 14 -fine The Vestige - Init 13 - fine Phantom - Init 2 - fine
  19. there's only one guy left in the building and yes the heroes should arrive now
  20. [url=http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/2119843/]Toughness saves for Popo #15 and #16 (1d20+4=12, 1d20+4=12)[/url] Just putting this here until we have the heroes.
  21. There are parts of verses that stop abruptly (i.e. there are some parts that don't mesh up properly). Otherwise, awesome song!
  22. All three men fall down under each of the Captain's blows. Inside, The Vestige confronts those who dare to raise arms against him while the officer called Morris hides in a back room calling STAR squad. "My name is of no cocern to you lowly worms. Do not try to intimidate me with your weapons. I very much doubt that your pitiful weapons can harm me. But no matter. I will not give you the chance to use them." Drawing an blade made of obsidian from a hole in the fabric of reality, he dashes forward the officers amidst a hail of gunfire and hits each of their limbs with the flat of his blade. They fall down amidst screams of pain like wheat to a farmer's scythe. "It seems that your weapons are nothing more than a child's playthings. Be grateful to what heathen gods you worship that you have been given another chance at life. You filth are not even worth slaying. I do not want to sully my blade with your heathen blood, pretenders...." To add insult to injury, he lifts up his mask only up to his mouth and spits at his fallen foes. Back outside, the two officers fire at Captain Knievel but perhaps it was fear at having to face both Captain Knievel and this newcomer, but their shots go wild and instead of hitting the Captain they fly off into the distance.
