  1. Surprisingly, the officer looks no worse for wear after that vicious kick but the punch to the gut knocks him out. "Sh*t! It's Captain Knievel! Morris, call STAR squad! Let's get him boys!" All at once, three officers come at him with batons raised in an attempt to pummel him but the Captain deftly dodges each strike. Morris, on the other hand, goes back inside to alert the other officers and call STAR squad. Back in the parking lot, The Vestige watches the fight with amusement. Changing back to his old form, he begins chanting until blue sparks begin to travel across his body. He then rapidly moves to the hole he had recently made only to be met by met by a dozen pistols aimed at him. "And who the hell might you be?" Meanwhile, two officers exit through the main door to confront Captain Knievel with pistols drawn.
  2. That's for the second one. The first has no way of acutally winning vs a DC 27 save. They only have toughness saves of +4. Not even a nat 20 can save him.
  3. Quote, surprisingly Popo #3 succeeded on his toughness save. Toughness save for Popo #3 (1d20+4=22)
  4. Quote, aren't generic NPC's considered minions? If so, the officer is automatically KO'ed since he's facing an impossible save of DC 27 and he only has a +4 toughness save.
  5. I think having you guys arrive in 2 rounds would be fine. There will also be STAR squad coming in in the round after.
  6. The ground rumbles and shakes for a moment before a massive armored creature erupts from the ground and closing its massive maw on The Vestige's armored leg. The Ancient Atlantean armor holds and he is unharmed. It then attempts to grasp firmly and hold him down with its maw still firmly clamped onto the leg which The Vestige is unable to resist. Regaining his senses, The Vestige turns into a monstrous beast himself, a wiitigo, and forces the creature's jaw open. Free from the creature's clutches, he rises up a hundred feet in the air then glares at the creature. Filthy beast! Do you think of me as a meal? I will show you who is the stronger being! The bulette, unable to understand anything being said by its prospective meal, tries to leap up and bite him again but falls far short of the The Stormwalker's legs.
  7. The Vestige automatically fails the grapple check to resist being grappled since the highest result he can currently get is 35.
  8. Initiative rolls everyone. Here's the initiative rolls for the police officers. 10, 9, 18, 4, 4, 4, 14, 19, 17, 11, 13, 4, 10, 12, 2, 2, 10, 8, 15, 16 The Vestige's: 13
  9. It takes a moment for The Vestige to take note of the Captain. To him, this person must be some kind of fool or jester. This fits perfectly with his view on how humanity has fallen. What manner of fool are you? Are you one of these so called protectors of humanity? Moments later a police officer shouts. "FREEZE!"
  10. You know, everytime I read Captain Knievel's entrance with the audible shining teeth my mind goes blank for a few minutes. :P

I'll post there once there are some more heroes. Also, what's your answer to this?
  13. Feb. 16th, 2009: FCPD Precinct 13 is attacked by The Vestige. Local law enforcement agents and Star Squad officers are at the scene. Dark Star and Phantom attempt to stop him while Captain Knievel adds to the mayhem. This also marks The Vestige's first appearance in Freedom City. (Assault on Precinct 13)
  14. Thread is up: viewtopic.php?f=9&t=2053
  15. Date: Feb 16th, 2009 It's dusk in Freedom City. Most streets are packed with the evening rush hour and the street in front of the FCPD Precinct 13 is no different. Amidst a group of police cars, The Vestige appears from regions unknown to stare upon the building's impressive facade with disgust. Look at them. They pretend to be something more than what they really are. They are hypocrites! They wallow in their decadence and grandeur. Who do they think they are? They will never reach the heights of grandeur in Atlantis! They are like the Lemurians, hiding in their worlds of fantasy and illusion while atrocities happen on their very doorstep. I will show them... Anger mounting with each second he stares at the building, he quickly turns into a hulking monster and heaves a nearby police car at it with a resounding crash resulting from the impact. The police station now has a hole roughly the diameter of a police car where its front door used to be with those inside in shock as bits of debris continue to fall from the hole and dust settling everywhere.
  16. Fine with me. I'll start the thread later in the evening since I have to finish enrolling myself in college first
  17. I'll probably add some mooks to help that good guys. It is a police station after all. I was thinking of something like 20 police officers and 6 SWAT members though they won't arrive all at once. What do you guys think?
  18. This will be a solo planes-hopping thread I'll be working on where he tries to reacquaint himself with the various planes and dimensions on the Cosmic Coil. He is currently in The Velahan Rifts mentioned in my background. Think Catacha from Warhammer 40K multiplied by 10 and with the smallest creatures there (aside from various insects and small furry creatures) being the size of elephants or larger. He'll be acting in self-defense while the creatures think he's a tasty meal.
  19. First stop: The Velahan Rifts. The Vestige will be fighting 3 Bulettes and a Purple Worm with some modifications. The bulettes will be treated as minions and have the following modifications: [*:27tzc57w]Added a Strike 2 (Mighty, Improved Grab) for its mouth [*:27tzc57w]Removed the Leaping power from the array. It is instead a stand-alone power [*:27tzc57w]Added Move-by Attack The purple worm will be treated as a hero with the following addition: [*:27tzc57w]Replace the Drain Strength attack with a rank Acid Spit (Blast 12, Secondary Effect [+1]) Now for some initiative rolls. First 3 rolls are for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd bulettes respectively while the last is for the purple worm (1d20+2=6, 1d20+2=13, 1d20+2=12, 1d20-2=7) initiative roll (1d20+5=11) Initiative Order: Bulette 2 Bulette 3 The Vestige Purple Worm Bulette 1 Bulette 1 will attack first. The next 2 will come 2 rounds after and the purple worm will come a round after that

durf, is it okay to damage your HQ? At the least, it'll be something to get all the guests' attention.
  21. Sounds good. I'll put up the thread tommorow. Now I have to sleep.
  22. The Velahan Rifts. A massive plane blessed with a profusion of life in all its shapes and forms. Underneath trees taller than most mountains, life abounds in a semi-twilight atmosphere lit by various tiny plants, insects and fungi. It seems hard to think that this was once a stronghold for the mighty Atlantean Empire. All seems tranquil with the forest floor looking like something from out of a dream but not all is as it appears as one traveller finds out... A door opens in mid-air and The Vestige steps out to be greeted by an eery display of light emanating from the various denizens of the undergrowth. It seems that even my fortresses have been lost to the sands of time and the forces of nature. I must see what remains. Perhaps some bunkers have withstood the passage of time. He gently lands on a bed of glowing moss and starts to look around for traces of anything of Atlantean influence. Deep underground, several denizens of the plane notice the presence of something unseen for several millenia. They slowly awaken as their stomachs grumble at the prospect of a tasty meal. Slowly, they begin to burrow up to the surface.
  23. Yup. So should we let this escalate into an all-out supers brawl? It seems that there are two villains now to Cryoa's hero. Perhaps we should wait for some more to make things more interesting. What are your opinions?
