To leave him here would probably mean death but she couldn’t risk upsetting Vera just yet. Thinking quickly she put the Jake back down. “You know sister we shouldn’t fight over such a thing. Why don’t we let him decide?†Without waiting for a reply she woke him as gently as she could. The drone to the heroes didn't seem to show much in the way of intelligence. But somewhere in it's basic brain if must have realized it had been abandoned to it's fate. It was also blinded by Starlight's burst of light. It reactions however where one of pure instincts it arms whirled faster than and more frantic in a potentially deadly arcs. In it confusion however it failed to connect with anyone, or anything, within in the room. Despite this outburst of rage it again made no sound during it's assault.

Assistants save 1d20+5=15, so she is blinded. If I read this right the first bruise is free and Synth can't fail for the second so she is okay. 19 - Assistant - Bruised, Blinded (+0) - GM 16 - Starlight - Unharmed - 3hp 14 - Synth - Dazed - 1hp Assistants Attack 1d20+10=11, wow you really put her off . And to recover from the Blindness 1d20+7=8. The poor thing is off her game . Back round to Starlight.

You know I totally missed the save sorry! So my Reflex save is 1d30+4=22 (modified to 20), so no better but no worse?

Seeing the young heroes concerned Revenant gave a friendly smile. “Don't worry Juatus knows what he's doing, it's just a precaution. And if Wisp can't I'm happy to test your staircase I'm tougher than I look.†She looked around at the little huddle of people. When exactly did she take charge of this whole situation? The last time she had met Wisp she was still a fresh eyed innocence to this 21st century world, now look at her. “Just make sure they all know what we're doing. I don't want to worry them until we know what exactly happened.â€

It would have been easy to be smug, after all she had fooled this vampire Master, but she knew he would be a slippery customer. It could all be that he was playing her, just to get rid of a nuisance. Plus it seemed that other that had helped her could have been put in danger because of her actions. She would need to inform them of the danger, but first she needed to get home. So she strolled back into the house and back into the company of her “sisterâ€. "It seems I have been given an audience with the Master. You will make the arrangements.†Now she knew he was watching she knew she had to keep up the act.

All this attention will allow Pyre a recovery roll.

Tucked among the glitter and lights of Boardwalk was the unassuming building that housed the mission of Our Lady of Mercy. The nun didn't seem at all surprised or concerned at the arrival of several heroes in fact they acted as if nothing was amiss a rather rotund nun hustling Pyre off to get his wound treated. Left to there own devices Revenant drifted to assist the other volunteers leaving Whiplash to her own devices. She was after only a short while joint by a rather dapper, if not a little disheveled, gentleman. His clothing would have been expensive in it's day, he even carried a cane, and he looked for all the world like a well dressed Gandalf. He gave a majestic bow “A pleasure to make your acquaintance Ms. Whiplash.†his looked concerned “Oh dear that doesn't sound quite right...†with a theatrical gesture he stuck out his hand a whispered to her “...would you prefer Ms. Crey?†“I think I know something that may assist you in your hunt form this Man in Yellow.â€

“Is there room enough for two?†the voice came from Revenant who was nocturnally leaning against a wall “Sorry I took so long but someone covered the roof with smoke. Your work I assume?†she gave a friendly smile. She wondered over and seem to notice Pyre's wound for the first time, her face became one of concern and she tentatively hovered a hand above his wound. “STAR has her custody so it's unlikely we're see her until the morning. Plus your wounded, and I know the perfect place who will help with no question.†she beamed at a private joke “Your not bothered by holy places are you?â€

Lucy was still getting use to the 21st century and hadn't really had chance to look at the modern wonders of forensic science, or had even heard about the science of Genetics. The Victorian styling of Lord Steam equipment however wasn't that far removed from the equipment she could from the 20's so she figure out enough to offer her assistance. She decided however to allow him to do the majority of the work, just pointing out a pertinent point here and there. So as Lord Steam did his best Sherlock style reveal she just stood there looking to all the world like a passive observer.

It dropped any pretense of disguise and resumed it's natural pink skinned formed. If face turned briefly towards Starlight and spoke in a gargley almost unnatural voice. “Whilst we have decided to delay are activities, well will finish our contract with Farrel BioTech.†it then shifted into Grue <â€Maybe we will inform the Unity of your existence I'm sure they would be interested in a lost drone.â€> It then turned it attention back to Synth having now found it mark it found it easy to again strike the young hero.

Ms hawthorn or gave Starlight a confused look as she rushed past towards the door. The scene that Starlight saw must have ranked as one of the strangest of a very strange day. Another Ms Hawthorn, another drone judging from the blade like arms, was whirling around trying to hit Synth. And from his hiding place in the corner of the office the businessman voices rouse to a peek over the sounds of the combat. “No you're not her... he, he cheated me... you shouldn't be here... but I'll win out in the end.†The creature though it seemed almost brainless seemed to react to her masters commands as the whirl of blades hit striking Synth a solid blow.
