  1. Assistant's resistance to Grapple 1d20+21=23. What are you planning to do to the poor shifter?
  2. Agnes did a quick scan around the room to see who was left, and it seemed that only there ghost was left. Why did it have to be a ghost? One of the only things that traditionally weren’t affected by light. Still the thing had a form so it cast light, if she could match the frequencies of light maybe she could interfere with its ghostly body. Dragging up half remembered GCSE Physics lessons she focused on altering her aura, which began to glow with a strange dark light. Well here goes nothing; she sent a bolt flying towards the Ghost of the Confederacy.
  3. Going to spend a Hero point and Stunt a Anti-Ghost Blast. Blast 6 (Feats: Affect Insubstantial 2) [14PP] And I'll attempt to hit Ghosty 1d20+5=19
  4. k, Here plan B, keep both my current characters and bring in Blodeuwedd as a PL 8 Player Name: Tiffany Korta Character Name: Blodeuwedd Power Level: 8 ( 120/120PP) Trade-Offs: "None" Unspent Power Points: 0 Progress To Bronze Status: 0/30 In Brief: A Welsh Ninja trained since an early age to battle rogue gods and spirits. Alternate Identity: Cerys Pefr Identity: Secret Birthplace:Caerdathyl, Gwynedd, Wales Occupation: Student Affiliations: Amddiffynnwr o Lleu Llaw Gyffes(Defenders of Lleu Llaw Gyffes) Family: None, orphaned at birth. Description: Age: 16 (DoB: 8th July 1996) Gender: Female Ethnicity: Welsh Height: 5’7†Weight: 125 lbs Eyes: Hazel Hair: Dark Brown Blodeuwedd is a pretty young woman but her features are not overly distinctive, the order has taken time to teach how to follow the fashion of the day. She could be any girl off the streets of Cardiff or Merhyr Tydfil. She is actually an attractive young woman, but unless she making an effort rarely apply make-up or styles her hair beyond a simple ponytail. Her body is lithe and athletic, a figure gained from years of dedicated training. Whilst she tries to dress in all the latest fashions, it always seem to come across as slightly off as if she doesn’t quite understand the whole process (which is close to the truth), she also tends to pick clothes which allow for movement in case of trouble. Power Descriptions: Blodeuwedd has no natural powers, apart from the years of training that has been provided to her by the Order. The Order has however managed over the centuries to have acquired, either legally, via industrial espionage and outright theft, a number of items both magical and technical. The best of this equipment has been given to Blodeuwedd to aid her in the mission. Each has been given a name after one of the fabled treasures of the British Isles. Dyrnwyn “White-Hilt†: Scholars of the order debate whether this sword is the actual mythical weapon or a similarly named item. The debate is centred on the fact that the sword is actually a more medieval broadsword than the more suitable Celtic designs. Like the mythical sword this one becomes covered in a magical fire when it is drawn. Gwyddbwyll Gwenddoleu ap Ceidio “The Chessboard of Gwenddoleu ap Ceidio : The google appear to be a set of oversized night vision goggles, and idea the do allow her to see in the dark. They do however contin a pair of specially prepared magical lenses that allow her to detect magical energies. Llan Tegau Eurfron “The Mantle of Tegau Eurfron : A tight fitting body suit weaved out of cutting edge materials which is not only light weight and flexible, but provides substantial protection to the owner. The suit is colored a dark blue to assist aid stealthy operations during night time. Made of advanced memory fibres It also has the ability to appear as a set of normal clothes. Ffoniwch Eluned “Ring of Eluned†: This item is a alien ring, of unknown origins, which has been gifted to the order by one of their allies working from Cardiff. The ring projects a thin field of energy around the wearer which not only provides a degree of protection it also allows the wearer to camouflage themselves into the environment. History: Blodeuwedd never knew her parents, they died when she was young, all she has known is the sanctuary of the Amddiffynnwr o Lleu Llaw Gyffes (Defenders of Lleu Llaw Gyffes). The men and women of the order were caring people and she was raised in a loving caring environment, but from an early age she was trained as an athlete and a warrior. Trained to be an agent of the order. According to legend the Order was founded by Lleu Llaw Gyffes himself as a body of men (and later women) to help defend him and the Kingdom of Gwynedd (later Wales) from the vengeance from the goddess, and his mother, Arianrhod. Through the centuries the order has expanded there remit to defend the nation from any supernatural threat being from the Celtic gods and spirits. Mostly from within Wales but occasionally the acted on threats outside the country. A small and deeply secretive order they rarely concern themselves with matters outside of Wales, but in the last few years there augers and intelligence network, have heard rumours that one of the Celtic god or goddess have allowed one of their offspring to live in Freedom City in the United States. After much debate the order decided to send an agent to the city to monitor the situation. As the seer showed the main focus was an unusual school they needed someone of the right age to infiltrate the school. Blodeuwedd knew nothing about this; she was being trained to recover dangerous Celtic artefacts. The first she knew was when she was informed of her mission by the Order and sent to America to infiltrate the school. Her orders were simple, find out if such people exists and if they do what danger they present to the order. So far her first days in her new identity as Cerys haven’t gone well. On arrival at Claremont the Headmaster called her in and proceeded to tear apart her newly constructed identity, only to inform her that she had undergone an excellent training and telling her that she was welcome to stay. Personality &Motivation: Blodeudwedd is a quiet and reserved person with all her word and actions being carefully considered. She’s a quiet and conscientious student who watches everything and considers all the fact before asking questions. She a very stern and serious person who will have little to do with any kind of frivolity. Having grown in as part of a small order, based near a tiny village in North Wales, Bloeudwedd doesn’t have much experience with dealing with the vast multitude of people who live in Freedom City. She can come across as curt and rude, but ib fact is more than a little shy, not to mention awe struck. Powers &Tactics: Blodeuwedd has been trained to be a cautious fighter. She will spend as much time as possible calculating her enemy’s abilities and weaknesses, if possible at a distance from a hiding place. Then when she is ready she will strike quickly and swiftly trying to disable her opponent. She has had it drummed into her to always spare her hand against human enemies, only against the gods and their allies are she allows unleashing her full fury. Complications: I thank the Lord I’m Welsh: Raised by a very pro-Welsh Order Blodeuwedd is naturally very proud of her Welsh heritage, it takes a great effort of will to hide her nationality or even her accent. She, and the order, aren’t however rabid nationalist fighting for independence. In their mind if the Queen was unfit to rule the land then the land we become barren. Only then would they have to act. Secret Identity: Blodeuwedd know the importance of secrecy to both her personal safety and to the order as a whole. So she endeavours to keep up the facade of the cover story she has been provided with. Ceyrs Matters: Raised from birth in an isolated location with a focus on training for her chosen task Blodeuwedd has never had any concerned other than her duty. As Ceyrs she now has time to herself, and almost no idea what to do with herself. 5. Yeah she is going to be my Bronze Reward. The plan is to archive YB for now and bring Blodeuwedd as my second character.
  6. Right I've made a few minor tweeks so she's not quite you average scowling cowl, but at times can act just like one. Now she's you traditional shy wallflower/outsider beloved of High School films. Thoughts, comments criticism? (be gentle with me :)
  7. Whilst it was sometimes useful to stand there stoically, it was also quite nice not to get shot. Especially when the incendiary rounds stung so much. Her brain, before focused on the pain, finally registered what they had said. She was the secondary target, had Veronica gone to far this time and was to be taken down? Or had Jake found out to much? It didn’t matter; she would protect them both whatever the consequences. She crouched to the ground and struck the ground sending shock wave towards the three armed men.
  8. Now fully healed I'm going to do a groundstrike. My roll for them to resist 1d20+10=22.
  9. The demon that had decided to keep it attention on Pyre had better luck, instead of taking back into air it make a series of strikes with its claws the final blow connecting with Pyre red skin. With its concentration on Pyre the illusion it had projected quickly faded allowing Whiplash to see the real pictures, she had her own problems to deal with however. The whip strike had cracked along the Demons hide, but didn’t seem to do anything. Except maybe draw the creature’s attention. Following the path the whip formed in the smoke it took an experimental swig towards Whiplash, but the blow didn’t come anywhere near the hero.
  10. Demons Toughness Save 1d20+8=24 Demon on Pyre 1d20+6=15, against concealment 1d20=7, so a DC 24 Toughness save Demon on Whiplash 1d20+6=14 Oh and the Demon Pyre fighting isn't invisible it just to Whiplash it looks as if it's unconscious, but it should have been making Concentration checks so he'll be dropping the illusion. Toughness Save for Pyre and then his go.
  11. That does hit, however Toughness Save 1d20+14-1=30. Synth's up next.
  12. Your fine, it's alway's 10+Def Bonus. Anyhow the Demons Toughness Save1d20+8=27, so demon is Dazed and Bruised 16 Whiplash - Unharmed - 1 HP 16 Demon 2 (Minion) - Dazed and Bruised - GM 12 Demon 1 (Minion) - Unharmed - GM 11 Pyre - Unharmed - 2 HP Whiplash is up.
  13. Auto N Warehouse The drone attempted to work around Nes-456’s tentacle and strike Starlight with its blade like hands. But the mass of pseudopods were distracting it, it obviously didn’t want to harm its master, and it failed to strike a blow on Starlight. CEO’s office Carefully hidden behind the offices sofa the negotiator for Farrell BioTech was filled with false bravado. “You might be able to fight it now, but it won’t be long before you fall.†The assistant was however quite on script and its blows went wide of Synth but a whisker.
  14. And we're back around to the top 19 - Drone (AN) - Unharmed - GM 19 - Assistant (RC) - Unharmed - GM 16 - Starlight (AN) - Unharmed - 3hp 14 - Synth (RC) - Unharmed - 1hp 4 - Nes-456 (AN) - Bruised - GM Drone on Starlight 1d20+10=18 Assistant on Synth 1d20+10=18. Or is that the other way round? Both the same, both a miss. Starlights up.
  15. It you were trying to gain the trust of a witness it was best not to have too many people talking at once, it tended to confuse them and could lead of all sorts of error. Besides Lord Steam seemed to have matter safely in hand, and was along the way getting results. That didn’t mean though she could still help in a supporting role. Gaining her trust would help speed thing along. So she crouched down beside Ewoma and gently took her hand in what she hoped was a reassuring manner and gave the woman a friendly smile.
  16. The airborne demon was like its partner brought crashing to the rooftop thanks to Whiplashes attack. But unlike the other it quickly picked itself to its feet. Instead of flying back into the air and bombarding the smoke it instead advanced on the bulky form of Pyre, now hazily visible on the edge of the smoke and attempted to harm the hero in a rapid series of slashes with its claws. Unseen by Whiplash the other demon was anything but down and it also attempted to harm Pyre. But the smoke still provided some cover to the Pyre and it claws failed to connect with his skin.
  17. Against the trip1d20+8=21, against the fall 1d20+8=26 16 Whiplash - Unharmed - 1 HP 16 Demon 2 (Minion) - Unharmed - GM 12 Demon 1 (Minion) - Unharmed - GM 11 Pyre - Unharmed - 2 HP As Pyre is at the edge of the cloud him and Demons are now at partial cover. Demon 1 & 2 is going to try a strike Pyre with it's claws 1d20+6=10 & 1d20+6=7, oh no chance. Obviously they can't hit one of there own . Pyre you're up.
  18. .Now free of the giant tank it had inhabited and with the warehouse rapidly filled with the brown gas of its atmosphere. The alien seemed gain in confidence and give one of its strange chuckles. <“Ah the mighty Grue how overconfident as a species you are, maybe one day we will show you the error of your ways. Thought you are a little different I must say, it’s a shame I won’t be able to study you further.â€> Whilst it spoke a mass a tentacles shot forwards from Nes, writhing and thrashing around whilst attempting to engulf the hero.
  19. That is indeed a miss SC. Nes will attempt to Snare Starlight 1d20+10=23, that's a hit so a Reflex Save for Starlight DC 20.
  20. Revenant gritted herself against the pain. She should have expected incendiary rounds; after all they were working for a vampire. Part of her had expected he would want to meet her, instead he just saw her as a threat to be taken down. Then again from the little she knew about vampire they were like pack animals always trying to make sure they were the top dog. Good focus on anything except the pain, allow the body to heal. She smiled through gritted teeth at the mercenaries in front of her. “Really threatening the Un-Dead with the morgue, that was a cliché even in my own day.â€
  21. Whoops posted for wrong link for the record it was 1d20+11=15, 1d20+11=20
  22. Resist Intimidate 1d20+8=24, Toughness saves 1d20+8=24. Dazed, Disabled and Injured. Ow! On the plus side I loose the Disabled on my go.
  23. Lucy struggled with what to do, not with this latest revelation, but with what to do with Jake. He might not be totally safe her, but she trusted him less among a vampire lord. “You don’t owe me anything and we obviously have different outlooks on things. But please make sure that Jake get home safely.†She gave a sad little smile “And who knows maybe we can meet again in better circumstances, you wouldn’t be the first sister I didn’t see eye to eye one.†Without waiting for a snappy comeback she left the room and headed to the front door, throwing it open as dramatically as it would allow. “Hello boy what can I do for you?â€
  24. Unfortunately the Demons are smarter than they look, the Illusion works against all senses.
