  1. Super awesome summer veggies! Sliced Summer Squash (Zucchini & Yellow are my favorite) Tomatoes Onion Dice onion, I usually use half to three quarters of a baseball size one depending on how much squash and tomatoes I have. Saute the onion on the stove until almost translucent and pieces are brown. Set aside. Slice squash and tomatoes into rounds, in a glass pan layer squash, tomato, onion and a cheese of your liking. Cover with foil and bake for about 45min at 350*. Squash should be soft when done. Stubborn squash? no foil to cover the pan? don't like your squash so soft? Bake for the 45 minutes then remove to saute pan and brown them gently. Tastes great either way!
  2. Doesn't Gwen still have those nifty goggles Catalyst gave her in the first round?
  3. Attack Roll on Targeter (1d20+10=27) I assume this hits so DC 20Fort vs being knocked unconscious by Gwen's Stun.
  4. I know Gwen is up, are there any sharks left?
  5. Before Brian and Zach could walk away some of the vines reached out and started to wrap around Zach. Gwen just stood there, hands crossed against her chest and her loose braids hanging around her head. If it was possible her eyes got paler, she waved a hand the vines. "Zach, you owe them an explanation. They're thoroughly confused and intrigued by what you did before." Hhheellllllloooo the vines kept trying to echo in Gwen's mind, still looking for the mental Zach voice. Stop that! I can't think straight.
  6. The shark had gotten Gwen's leg just as she was swinging down from the tree. She groaned in pain and lost her footing slipping from the tree. She could barely see Brian and Vicky come to her rescue as she flopped on the floor. She shook her head, stood up and looked down to survey the damage. Her leg was grazed pretty well, small trickle of blood from the abrasions and a lot of red, raw skin. She swore under her breath as she put weight on it and was glad that it wasn't broken. She saw the other two sharks coming farther out of the water and charged towards them. The vines, who had acquired injuries of their own overshot their target and missed the shark horribly.
  7. Move action: get closer to sharks 4 and 5 attack roll: Attack roll against shark 4 (1d20+10=13) Im going to assume that misses.
  8. Since its just social thread I don't think it'll slow much down. Plus Jeena needs a boy to cheer her up. :-p
  9. The old Sailor Moon CCG worked in a heroes vs villains setup, each player had a set of heroes and a set of villians out at the same time and they would attack the other respectively.
  10. Gwen wasn't used to being left alone the way the boys had and she was rather confused. He was here! The vines echoed again, still curious about how that happened. I'm not being left alone like this! Gwen shouted in her head. She put down the box she had started to move and marched towards the boys. She walked up behind them and tapped them both on the shoulder. She looked at Zach, "You are going to tell me how you did that..." She turned and looked at Brian then stepped back so they were both in view. "And the girls got at least a five minute head start to the front gate, I doubt Vicky needs help carrying anything, What in goodness name is going on here?"
  11. Gwen tumbled out of the way of Targeter's bullets, but a few passed through the vines as she did. Gwen let out a scream which echoed the one that pulsed in her head. The vines as a whole recoiled in pain and Gwen could feel their agony, she buckled slightly. The injured vines pulled back into Gwen's body and disappeared into the baseflower on her shoulder. Gwen gritted her teeth and steadied her footing. Shaking her head she set her eyes on Targeter and groaned in a pain that the vines themselves could not express.
  12. Gwen's head was spinning. She was in shock for a brief time after Zach's voice invaded her mind. The vines were scrambling, they had been startled quite well by the mental invasion. Neither Gwen nor the vines were used to any voices in their head but each other. By the time Gwen shook it off a lot had gone down. She vaguely remembered Brian coming over, though the conversation was blurred, she saw the two of them walk off together, and watched them shake hands after a moment. He in here!! The vines stated. How get in here? They asked the questions over and over, both intrigued and scared. Gwen turned and surveyed the goings on, it seemed that she had zoned out and missed quite a bit.
  13. Gwen as looked up from the torn dirt to Zach she was about to ask for help with some boxes when his words cut into her. She listened, understanding on a level. Thought she may not have fought for her life every day she had constantly moved from place to place. She never had long term friends or lasting relationships other than her parents. Gwen smiled and nodded to Zach. "I find it hard to believe there will ever be a time you're not around." Gwen pause and then elaborated. "You guys are like the Irish Twins, but either way I'll be there for her when she falls, just like you will."
  14. "I know next to nothing about martial arts in any country. Most of the farmers I helped are just strong men and women." Gwen struggled to come free, she even almost had it, but Vicky's grip on her wrist was pretty tight. "I guess I really do need this practice." She said as she started to take a stance to throw Vicky over her shoulder. Gwen was just too short in this case and couldn't get her hip in the right spot. Her attempt to throw Vicky ended with the girls side by side on the floor with Vicky still pinning Gwen's arm.
  15. toughness save... *eep* (1d20+10=29) AND HOLEY MOLES! GWEN SAVES!
  16. "Can't I have ONE nice day outside the school?!" Gwen muttered as she spotted... was that TWO more fins. She swore under her breath in Spanish as she swung up into the foliage of the tree. The same they had been sitting under, this tree was a kind old maple who was more than willing to shield her from prying eyes as she stripped down to the green bodysuit. She had made some changes to it, added some darker green trim around the collar, arms and legs. One of the vines curled through her hair and pulled it up into a tight net and flowered bright red around it. She felt confidant enough to swing down from the tree. She thanked it for its willingness to hide her clothing and began to move to rejoin her allies.
  17. Gwen passes for first round as she needs to change.
  18. opposed grapple (1d20+21=24) I'm pretty sure this opposed grapple will fail.
  19. Gwen looked up from her quest to find the box with the caulk and guns when the vines piped up. He moves the earth! Gwen could feel it too, the displacement of the grass left the simple plants feeling confuse at their sudden upheaval. She turned around just in time to see what Zach had done. "Impressive." Gwen walked over and inspected the earth he had upturned. She whistled. "Well that is one less thing the groundskeeper has to do."
  20. init for Gwen (1d20+11=31) Too bad Gwen needs a place to hide and strip down to her bodysuit and for the vines to push up her hair. Also Gwen's notice Notice for sharks (1d20+14=30)
  21. Gwen smiled at Zach, "That would be very kind of you." Gwen stepped back and let him take over. We want to help! The vines called out in Gwen's mind. I'll have to think about that. she told them. Gwen turned back to everyone. "Finish up your current things and come and take a short break, drink some drinks and the food should be here any minute." Gwen herself went back to checking the inventory on the boxes. "Its got to be here..." Gwen mumbled.
  22. 1d20+10=17 so you grab. against the grapple. (1d20+21=36) so... your bonus is higher so Gwen is grabbed.
  23. Gwen listened to Brian's description of the play. She nearly laughed out loud but instead she took the playbill and started to look it over. She stared at the cover. He was right, full on 1920s mafia style men on the cover. "So it's like the Leonardo DiCaprio Romeo and Juliet..." Gwen mulled over the cast. It was a version of the play most befitting to him. It was something that was starting to grow on Gwen actually, the contrasts between the two of them made things interesting. "Sounds new and interesting!" Gwen said to Brian, still looking over the playbill. She kicked off her sandals and let her bare feet fall of the blanket and into the grass.
