  1. Gwen smiled at Brian."That is because it goes on the inside, that way there are two levels to the greenhouse. Smaller planters and hanging pots can go up here while larger plants get planted on the ground floor." Gwen looked over at what Vicky had achieved. The drain pipes were in place, at the perfect angles to keep everything from turning into a swamp. "Vicky, if you could lay a layer of dirt about six inches on top of the gravel we can start some of the pipes for the ground watering system." Super Super! Gwen looked around at everyone. "The vines also want you guys to know this is AMAZING. Now I'm going to order the pizza, what does everyone like?"
  2. Gwen was, well simply stunned. She squeezed Brian's hand that hung around her shoulder just before she slipped out of it and walked up to Corbin. She looked up at the seemingly giant man next to her then decided to take a few steps back as not to strain her neck. "That is just... amazing." she said, looking at the assembled boardwalk for the second story. "Before we can put that in I need the "L" brackets installed on the inner supports and the roof." Gwen pointed to a 1ft cube looking box. "Everything you need for that should be right in there." Gwen looked around and was just flabbergasted. "If someone could give me a hand moving this box of paving stones I think the pieces for the spiral staircase that goes to the boardwalk are in here." Gwen looked at her phone and the time. Noon already. Maybe I should order the pizzas now, and I think we'll need quite a few of them.

  5. Gwen watched the metal woman take in a great breath like bellows and blow away the cover fog as if it were the steam over the coals of a great fire. Holey smokes! the girl thought, and then caught her own pun. No more smoke. The vines made a simple observation and weren't wrong. We need to get in there and hit her again, you ready? but the vines answered for Gwen by leaping forward and smacking themselves into the steel woman's face. The sound of xylem and floam against metal was sickening but it was the metal woman who gave and her face snapped back with the blow.
  6. 1d20+10 → [6,10] = (16) to hit Steelshark dc25 toughness vs being smacked in the face with VINES! (who also have 10 ranks of autofire...)
  7. With ease, grace and some help from the vines Gwen tumbled out of the fire AND caught the mask and goggles. She quickly put both on and looked over at a person in a hazmat suit. Well that's a new one. Gwen noted and turned to eye the large steel woman who tried to grab at her. Iron Giant! the vines mused and Gwen snorted. That was a childrens movie, and not trying to kill us! As she spoke to them Gwen bounded over to the steel lady. Several of the vines lashed out at her legs but her form seemed too smooth for them to find any purchase there. Slipping! they cried as they pulled back towards Gwen.

  9. Gwen watched Morgan fall and had a momentary panic. She managed a "What are you--" and the squeak was out before Gwen's mind realized that he would probably be fine. Yup. She watched him teleport just before hitting the floor. The whole vanish over there and appear over here thing was really going to take time to get used to. Gwen shook her head and looked at Morgan. "You nearly gave me a coronary!" Gwen made a mock sour face. Poof! Poof! the vines mocked Gwen in her head. Gwen rolled her eyes. "'It amuses the vines though." Gwen smiled. The plastic pipes need to be laid out in the ground, this will be the base of the water feeding. We'll have to fill in the dirt over this once we get it connected to that waterline over there." Gwen looked over at Vicky. "Can you fill in the area you dug out with some of the gravel from in the second dumpster here? We'll need to get the drainage pipes in too." Gwen pointed to some large pipes with small holes drilled in one side of them.
  10. Gwens attack roll sucked. 1d20+11 → [4,11] = (15)
  11. Gwen stashed her clothing up in the branches of a tree that was kind enough to promise to hold them. She looked out onto the street and spotted the larger woman first. Oh my goodness. she breathed out as she sized the woman up. This bad the vines mused and Gwen had to agree. Very bad. Gwen got scared even more when she noticed a second woman seeming to be traveling with her. HolyMoles... Gwen decided to take out the opponent more closely matched to her. She swung herself down from the trees and began to rush at the smaller woman in green.
  12. 1d20+11 → [13,11] = (24)
  13. Trouble The vines said in Gwen's head just before she could hear the screams of the city trees and then the car was smashed into the middle of the garden. Oh no! Gwen cried to the vines as she dove for cover behind a mostly assembled planter. We go help, big trouble! they added as Gwen took a look around, praying no one was near. She hoped that she could get away un-noticed while everyone panicked. Her prayers were answered when the lot filled with smoke. She stripped down to her green bathing suit and dark green shorts, her green mask in the bottom of her pocket. She removed the bandanna from her hair and let it flow down her back, One of the vines grabbed it up and bound it together with itself until it was a crown of brown, red and green. Its not punks in the forest, but we can do this!
  14. Gwen had a momentary flash about Brian, she had agreed to go out with him again, might as well make it a freebie. "If I win you'll pay for my half of a double date hua?" Gwen made a show of the idea and then smiled at the thought. The vines made kissing noises in her head as she thought about Brian, she made a mental note to cut down on their television time. Get ready! Gwen warned them. She took up a stance she had learned from the aboriginals in Australia and charged at Vicky. The vines shot out and wrapped the girl up, hands at waist and held her in the air. "Oops" Gwen said, while admiring her handiwork.
  15. 1d20+21 → [12,21] = (33) Grapple check.
  16. Gwen was dressed in a long sleeve dark green under-armor shirt with her 'Green Freedom' t-shirt over that. The neck came up high and her pants were long jeans and her green sport sneakers. Her hair was loosely braided and a green and black bandanna held it out of her face. She looked at the camera and smiled. "Thanks Marie, We're here today to turn this unused lot into a bustling community garden where local families can come and plant their own fruits and vegetables. We have had a great turn out and we have several teams here. The goal is to replace these fences, get the planters in and have this place ready to get started by days end."
  17. Gwen flushed pink when Brian put his arm around her. Putting down the section of pipe she was fitting together with putty she looked up and met Brian's beautiful unique eyes with her pale green ones. "Yes, I'm hoping it will become a great community garden. Flowers, vegetables, starters for trees and larger plants." The excitement was practically a feeling emanating from Gwen into a tangible force in the air. New friends! the excitement extended to the vines and they got very happy. I'm also hoping to maybe start some more exotic seeds, maybe help revive some near extinct plants."Gwen felt like she was boring everyone with plant talk."I guess I'll always be a mudpuppy." Gwen smiled.
  18. Gwen's cheeks turned pink at his words and almost had an equally kind reply when she saw him moving in. She didn't want to stop him. His lips touched hers in the slightest of brushes. She felt a heat rush through her and she blushed bright red. The vines fed off her emotional reaction and they burst into bright red and pink starflowers some flowed below her skin and others burst into reality just above her skin. "I... yes... I think... we should get back to studying now." Gwen's breathing slowed back to normal and her pulse began to even out but there was still an excitement traveling through her.
  19. Gwen was ecstatic about the possibility of starting the interior decorating the next day. She practically swooned. Maybe Brian would help me with hang the really high hanging baskets tomorrow. She dazed for just a moment remembering how it felt to be held and floating above the cafeteria floor. Shaking her head she added "Morgan, when you're done over there could you give me a hand assembling the piping for the water lines?" Gwen began pulling out the plastic looking piping. It was actually recycled plastic like the frame. "I really think we could have this done and ready for planting in about a week!" Maybe less at the rate these guys work!
  20. Gwen surveyed the progress they had made in a only an hour. She was floored and amazed, if only she had this kind of help when it came to the farms. This is wonderful! Gwen mused. Done soon? the vines inquired. Yes, actually done much sooner than I thought! Gwen was delighted that so many people had turned out and that they all had amazing abilities to contribute to the building process. "Vicky, if you could take the assembled pieces Jeena has made and set them into the base. Jeena if you could help Corbin with the boardwalk." Gwen could see everything coming together so well. They'd have this done before lunch for sure.
  21. 1d20+10 → [17,10] = (27) attack roll to grab Vicky with vines
  22. Gwen practically bounced for the whole tour. She was excited to show everyone who came where Mr. Summers had approved the greenhouse that her godfather was donating was going to be built and invited everyone they saw on the tour to come and help on the 4th. She was throwing a "build it" party, complete with pizza and drinks for those who came to participate in its erection. Gwen couldn't help but introduce her self to many plants on the grounds that called out to her, some intelligent trees in a peer to peer way, most small plants in that attention starved way. Gwen snapped back to reality. "Oh! Basement Lounge?! Whats in there?" she inquired to Vicky.
  23. Gwen's face paled as she thought about how likely both her loss was and how she's probably puke after 'going for a ride'. "I don't have much experience with this kind of thing, but..." Gwen held up a finger for a moment and seemed to be thinking. Do you think we can do it?Gwen asked the vines. Competition? Friendly competition yes. Go for a ride if lose? Yes. We can try to win. Gwen smiled at Vicky. "The vines are game, so lets give it a go." Gwen thought about it for a moment, what would she want if she won? An idea hit her. "If I win, you make this a weekly thing?" Gwen rolled up on the balls of her feet and bent into positions that should have been yoga stances, or maybe Zumba stretches.
  24. DONE BY SHAENTHEBRAIN I need to make some changes to Gwen's history please. DONE BY SHAENTHEBRAIN
  25. Gwen was startled but didn't loose her grip on the mats as the girl appeared out of thin air. "Rapid growth, rune magic, heck even FLLYING I'm not freaked out by-- but EVERY time you do that I feel like I'm jumping out of my skin." No, we jump out of skin. the vines showed Gwen in image of them branching out. You no jump out of own skin. That bad. Gwen groaned and pushed herself off the floor and onto her butt. "It's a figure of speech." Gwen said out loud, pointing to the vines as if to indicate whom she directed that to. She started stretching out her calf muscles and looked at Vicky. "Thanks, I got it on ebay. Brand new too."
