  1. Gwen was startled as the grass came up around them. A collective gasp came from the Vines. Gwen held her breath. As they emerged she took in a sharp breath and looked around. Sanctuary was not what Gwen was expecting. She wasn't sure what she was expecting but the sheer amount of plant life and green wasn't it. She wondered what could possibly need terraforming here. "Uh... just water." Gwen followed Fleur, looking towards the sky. Maybe we're in a bubble...
  2. Gwen came out of the dorms, fresh faced, clean and dressed in a long sleeve green and white sweater, blue jeans, white scarf and brown moccasin style shoes. Her hair in two trailing braids and a matching white knit hat to her Scarf. She exited the door, dropping her phone into her purse and got close to Brian, the smell of Lavender emitting from her freshly washed body. "So, where were you thinking of eating?"
  3. Will it hurt? There was a hesitation on the Vines part.I doubt it. Gwen responded after thinking it over for a moment. Ok, lets go! The enthusiasm about experiencing a new place apparent in their voice. The Vines always liked seeing new places. "As I'll ever be." Gwen responded, looking around her face got curious, as she recalled Fleur's entrance Gwen's face grew concerned. "How do we get there?"
  4. "I-- forgive me." Gwen took a deep breath before shaking the outstretched hand and beginning again. "You're something of a goddess to some of the plants and trees I've spoken to around here, they think you're the best thing since coffee grinds and eggshells." Gwen turned her head as if listening to a far off voice. That lady? I'll explain later! Gwen hushed the Vines. "I'm going with you, I'll be helping with transforming to prepare our last effort in case of worst outcome." Gwen tried her best to keep a straight face as she said it. It was so surreal to her, specially after the events of the morning and the night before.
  5. As Brian said it Gwen's stomach rumbled slightly and she blushed. "It is nearly breakfast isn't it?" Gwen asked but she had her answer, she could feel the sun coming up, the plants in the room began to stir, as did the vines. "Can you pass me that robe over there?" Gwen rolled off of Brian's chest and sat up with her bare back against the wall. "I'm thinking we both could use a shower."
  6. GM A horn sounded over the PA system, a regal kind of tune to get the attention of the attendees. "HEAR YE! HEAR YE! The tournament will begin in one and a half hours! THE TOURNAMENT WILL BEGIN IN ONE AND A HALF HOURS" the speakers cut out. A foot soldier found Lucy and placed a tiara on her head. "If my lady would be so kind as to follow, there is refreshments waiting for you and your guest in the tournament tent." Another found Gwen, Brian, Morgan and Vicky. He didn't bare any gifts. "If you would be so kind my lieges there is a tent with refreshments waiting for your self and your ladies. You can also prepare."
  7. Gwen blushed a deep shade of red, it wasn't fully that she was embarrassed by what had taken place, but partially that she was being complimented on it. She bit her lip before leaning in for another kiss and resting her head on Brian's chest. "You...I..." Gwen let out a pained noise. "I can't think about you maybe getting hurt, you being here when that-- that thing comes." A tear left Gwen's eye and trailed onto Brian's chest. "I'm trying hard not to think of anyone still being here when that happens."
  8. Gwen could hear a commotion from the plants outside the window, she exited the door and watched the odd behavior of the bush. Gwen watched as the woman emerged and her jaw went slack. When the woman spoke Gwen's eyes went wide and she looked like a deer in headlights. You're... Fleur.de.Joie..." Gwen shook her head. Pretty lady! the Vines chimed, peeking out from under the collar of the shirt but still under Gwen's skin. "You don--" Gwen began out loud. You don't understand! That's FLEUR DE JOIE! she didn't wait for it to click with them. "I-- It's--We're honored to meet you!" she finally managed.
  9. Gwen's face went sour thinking about leaving. "It sucks. I know I'm going to do a good thing either way. I'm going to be bringing a PLANET back from practically uninhabitable... It's just the conditions under which I've been chosen to do this are--" Gwen rolled over and pulled Brian's body closer to hers. She couldn't bare the thought of what might happen to her planet, her family, friends the plants. She struggled to push down her fear. "I wish that I was going under better circumstances."
  10. September 11th, 2011 Mid Afternoon, Claremont School Gwen stood in the Jasmine Summers admin building, she had a small black bookbag packed with things she'd need. She was dressed in her heavy hiking boots, thick bluejeans, a black long sleeve under-armor shirt with a green short sleeve overlay. Her thick auburn hair was braided into one long rope that hung over her shoulder under a green and black bandanna. Summers had given Gwen only a time and a place for her pickup. Are we there yet? the Vines mused in her head. No. Gwen's reply was flat and she felt cold as she waited.
  11. Gwen snuggled closer into Brian. "Five more minutes." she groaned as she pulled the blanket tighter around them. "The sun isn't even up yet." Gwen's only indication to that statement was that she couldn't hear the Vines and she was sure they were going to have something to say about this situation. Gwen rubbed at her eyes and then ran her hands back into her hair. She had fell asleep with it loose and it was showing in the knotts. Gwen turned her head to look at Brian "Good morning." she mumbled sleepily.
  12. Gwen's heart began racing. Not scared, but she had never felt like this before. She was unsure how to progress with the situation, how far would it go? Thoughts raced with her heart. She realized then that she hadn't even noticed most of the movie. "Brian..." she gasped out between the kisses with a heated and breathy voice. She didn't pull away, instead she began kissing his chin, trailed and moved to his ear. Gwen whispered "What...where..." she cut it off by resuming her kisses. Gwen wanted to ask about 'What if the world does end?' but she didn't want to ruin the mood, or the direction things were going.
  13. Gwen blushed at Brian's remarks. "You flatter me." Gwen looked like she could hear someone calling her name and turned. She caught sight of a covered table that was covered in tiny trees. She took in a sharp breath of air before grinning again. "Aren't you all just PRECIOUS!" she managed as she pulled Brian over to the table. The miniature trees where beckoning to her, some were shaking like a breeze that wasn't there brushed past. She spent several moments touching them and gently touching each one. This continued for several moments before she began conversing with the stand runner. She paid and agreed to pick up a miniature shakan style maple before the close of the fair. She thanked the man and returned to the group. "So, who's hungry?!" she inquired.
  14. Gwen held the horse doll and mock hugged it with a large grin on her face. "I shall treasure it forever." she mused. Gwen followed Brian over to the table and made a sour face at the snake. "Snakes are not really my thing..." Gwen's face scrunched up and she browsed the table. She pointed to a silver bangle inlaid with vines, ladybugs and some butterflies. The emboss and relief in the metal caught Gwen's eye. "I think this one is better."
  15. GM The operator was dressed in a long blue tunic beige trousers and had high leather boots. He smirked at Brian as he took his money and handed him the mallet. The man obviously didn't think that Brian would do as well as he did. The ball went up through levels such as infant, jester, child, merchant, farmer as high as "Average Knight." The worker smiled at Brian and Gwen "Huzzah! Pick your lady a prize from this bin my sir!" The man motioned towards a basket with several 'hand made' looking dolls.
  16. Gwen pressed play and set the computer on the small stack of milk-crates she used as a table. She pulled a few more pillows up from the sides of the bed and tossed a few at Brian. Gwen put a few behind her back against the wall and snuggled herself under his left arm with her head nestled on his chest. She listened to his heartbeat as the movie began. She kicked off her sandals and interlaced the fingers of her left hand with his right as both hands rested in the space where the two teen's bodies met. She shifted her head after a while to look up at Brian's face. "I always feel so safe when I'm with you." she whispered.
  17. As long as it takes place before September 13th Gwen is in on it. After Sept 13th in the time line she's not on our planet and thus couldn't be there.
  18. Gwen let her body loose like jell-o when Brian kissed her, on her bed. She blushed an almost luminescent shade of pink-red as she bit her lip. "I don't know what's popular with movies. I've always been an Animal Planet or HGTV person when it doesn't come to documentaries." Gwen leaned over to her computer and opened the lid, her hair cascaded down her back and onto the bed as she moved. Her laptop too was a shade of evergreen with wild lime vines painted across it. "But mom and dad helped me set up a movie subscription so you can help me pick something from this for us to watch."
  19. "I've never had a real room-mate before. Most places I've lived I roomed with mom and dad, or we slept outside in our tents." Gwen pursed her lips in thought. "I'd have to say she's pretty good. She keeps to herself a lot. If she's not off with Vicky and I she's with her brother." Gwen had her own feelings that she kept to herself about how Jeena seemed too perfect. "I have no idea what this other Earth looks like. All I've been told is that it was ravaged by war, it's getting better but the Terraforming needs a kick in the butt if they're going to bring people over."
  20. Ladies and Gents, get to posting socially! Pull some others towards vendors with wares you like, try your hand a short range archery, thrown weapons, eat some exotic mideval food...!
  21. Gwen pointed to the eastern coast of Australia. "Here in Australia, the Darling river in New South Wales, this is where my parents are now." Gwen moved her hand over some of the other flags. It was noticeable upon closer inspection that they were all numbered. Gwen's smiling face was visible in almost every photo around the maps edge. Various poses, most all with some dirt or plant in the photos. Some alone, some with her parents. The resemblance between Gwen and her father more so than her darker skin, hair and eyed mother. Some photos Gwen was harnessed and climbing high above the ground in tree canopies, some repelling into caves, others tilling fresh dirt. Gwen move her hand to South America. "This is where I was born." Gwen pointed to a bright green tag in an area labeled 'Maracay'. It was in Venezuela.
  22. Gwen had Brian by the hand and led him to the elevator. She leaned into him while she waited for the car to come. She was oddly silent and seemed deep in thought when the bell sounded and the doors opened. Gwen led Brian to room 712, the door had a whiteboard on it and a note was scratched onto it. "Gone for the night with some friends, don't wait up for us.-Jeena and Zach" Gwen erased the message and write one of her own. It simply said "You promised. <3" Gwen then rummaged in her purse for her keys and unlocked the door. The room was dark but Gwen knowingly made her way to the switch on the wall. It was obvious that Gwen's bed was the one on the right. A decent size map of the world hung on the wall with red flags sticking out of it. Photos decorated the rim of the map. The bedsheets on the right were bright green and brown. A laptop sat partially open on the bed. "Welcome to my humble abode." she said as she smiled at Brian.
  23. "Airport? No, no airport, someone from the League is coming here to transport me there tomorrow." Gwen looked off into the distance and closed her eyes. Sleep now, we will talk tomorrow. She told the Vines as she could feel the sun fully depart as the end of twilight took over the sky. The evening lights turned on in the greenhouse and a pale glow surrounded Gwen and Brian. "You could come back to my room and help me get a few things together, I'd like that. Maybe we can spend some time together this evening, watch a movie... and... just be teenagers?"
  24. Gwen watched everyone around her, and when she finally saw an opening she tried to take it. However she was so distracted by Brian's self fumble and Wisp's flub that when the Vines lashed out to strike Gwen stumbled herself and the Vines went wide to the left. Oh no! they squeaked in Gwen's head. I'm sorry! Gwen answered them. She silently cursed herself for being the reason everything missed.
