Alright, i just need Momentum and Victory's reactions to the beginning of the chase, then its time for Initative!

To Momentum's surprise, his challenge actually gets the pair to stop! as everyone grinds to a halt in the parking lot, the one on the right, Octane, looks over the two heroes and sneers. "And why not, little man? Why shouldn't we take what we should have? It's not like you are gonna stop us or anything!" His partner, Nitro, shares a similar look of contempt. "Heh, what he said! We've been dumped on for so long, when we got these powers we knew it was time for us to take what is rightfully ours!" He turns to Victory. Heh, you look like you need a polish, mister Rustbucket! What, you forgot your 100,000 mile maintenance check?" Octane turns to his brother. "Good one, bro!" He turns to Momentum. "It's not like you or Robotron 9000 could ever catch us anyways! We're the Turbo Twins! We're the fastest brothers alive! Now, I'd like to stick around and chat, but we got places to be, jewels to fence, so catch ya on the flip side!" The twins jet east, towards the heart of downtown!

Dyne smiles ruefully at that. "I didn't mean to the point of completely ignoring the laws of this country, and the justice system. My older sister's a cop here, and she'd smack me upside the head with a brick if I let that happen! And if we let that happen, that's the road to complete anarchy. All I'm saying is that we should expect the best in people. Even though they may prove us wrong, always expect that deep down, there is a shred of kindness in someone, even if they have forgotten it. All it takes is the right circumstances to bring it out." You could hear the conviction in Dyne's voice about his belief in a basic decency of humanity. He turns back to Gabriel and awaits the answer to Wander's question.

As Victory and Momentum race to intercept the two supercharged smash-and-grab artists, they are just in time to see them speed out of the store! "Heh, I think that's enough 'shopping' for one day, Nitro." "Yeah, better not push our luck, Octane. No doubt there are some heros already on their wa-" The one on the left-Nitro-spots the Victory and Momentum coming up fast! "Speak of the devil, there's two now! Let's jet!" The two crooks speed their way out the mall exit!

I'll hold on to your initative, but we're not quite there yet, some more plot to do first.

As the alarm goes off, Dyne is surprised to see an IMMEDIATE response as two people burst in, with one clocking one of the goons! And that, ladies and gentlemen, is why robbing a bank in Freedom City is about the stupidest thing you could ever do; you don't know who might spot you strolling into a bank in power armor! He immediately recognizes Supercape from the incident at the casino, but the other hero with the rocket booster was unknown to him. Well, playing it cool is out the window, so might as well introduce myself...with a gravitic assault to the face, of course! He takes aim at the two goons and launches a sphere of gravitons, which impacts the ground at the power-armor jockeys' feet and erupts into a twisting, serpentine arc of gravitic force that collides with them...only for the armor to go up a bit in Dyne's estimation as absorbs the attack! Huh, that's some pretty good piece of equipment! It makes me wonder where the heck they got them, because those sure look to be military grade...

Graviton Eruption attack roll (1d20+6=22) That's a targeted shapeable area attack(DC 27) on the two goons in sight, and since I have Precise on my array, no penalty for firing into melee

Behind the booth, dyne cautiously peeks on the situation. He hears the cry from the bathroom, and simultaneously applauded and pitied the brave fool who lured three of them away. i hope he gets a medal for that, and I DAMN sure hope it won't be awarded posthumously! Looking around, he spots something that might well even the odds: an alarm! he ever so cautiously uses a precise gravitational field to slowly depress the alarm...

Suddenly, alarms ring all throughout the mall! People look around in confusion, unsure whether this was a drill or not, when suddenly two blurs appear in the middle of the crowd, stopping suddenly to reveal two identical-looking men in tacky red-with-silver-trim spandex...holding shopping bags stuffed with cash! "You got the goods, Nitro?" "Yeah, I got the cash, Octane! Hey, lets hit the south side of the mall before we go, I spotted a nice jewelry store there with some big rocks. Maybe I can pick up some for Lisa..." "Heh, gonna finally pop the question to her?" "...Shut up! You know she's just an easy lay for me..." "Pphht. Don't give me that! You say that now, but man you've been sure giving her a lot of gifts..." "...Whatever. Let's just go, bro." With that, they zip off down the corridors towards the south side!

Hearing the blast, Don immediately up. The sight of five men in power armor holding up the bank causes two reactions: a sense of utter incredulity and an urge to laugh. Who the hell is dumb enough to rob a bank in THIS city?! That's about as smart as opening the lion's cage, walking in and locking it behind you, and throwing rocks at the lion! The mirth dies a moment later, as it becomes clear that terminally idiotic or not, they had come pretty well prepared. Well, so now what? I'm pretty sure they can see me, so making a move to hide somewhere long enough to get my field up would likely get me shot...wait, they're not really looking in this direction yet, so if I can find something to hide behind, maybe I can ruin their day and protect these people! Don looks around for a hiding place to change...and spots a customer consultation booth. Perfect! He makes a quick move into the booth, ducks down, and begins floating of the ground. As soon as his feet leave the ground, his barrier snaps up, light bends away from him, and Dyne is ready for action! Hmmm, better play it cool for now, too many people in the line of fire. I'll just stay hidden in this booth...

As the sun wanes on this cool September day, it shines it's light on the centerpiece of shopping in Freedom, the Millennium Mall, surrounded by many other shops and restaurants. The hustle and bustle of families out shopping, friends just hanging out at the arcade together, teen girls squealing over the latest internet idol, and couples sharing a latte at the cafe is calming in its normalcy...however that calm is about to be shattered...

Dyne could only shake his head at that. What had happened to this young lady to turn her so cynical? "There are no 'good' and 'bad' people. There are just people who made 'good' or 'bad' choices. They're still human beings! I think they can still be saved! Call me naive, or an optimistic fool if you want, but I believe people can change, if you give them a chance. I've seen it myself; give someone a chance, and they can really surprise you."

Ok, I'm gonna try my first attempt at GMing an M&M game(though I do have general experience GMing, especially in PBP games). So, twin superpowered speedsters go on a five-fingered discount shopping spree in Southside, it's up to the heros to catch up and stop them in their tracks! If you asked him, Don would classify himself as an easygoing, polite, all-around nice guy. He rarely got angry, and he didn't stay mad long. But, there are certain things that REALLY pushed his buttons, and trying to get the bank to straighten out certain "statement irregularities"(I.E. theft from his accounts) was one of them. The fact that the bank manager was busy trying to keep the crowd under control wasn't helping any. Don clears his throat to get the man's attention, and continue where they left off. "Look, this account was closed THREE MONTHS ago, there shouldn't have been ANY transfers from here to that account, and there certainly aren't any accounts of MINE in the Barbados! And these withdrawals" he points to the top sheet of the bundle of papers in his hand "I never authorized these! The signatures on the checks don't match, I never heard of this company here, and I did not buy a rental house in upper New York State." He takes in a deep breath. "I've already talked to the police about this, but what I want to know is what the hell kind of bank you are running where you don't even make simple checks to see if the people who bring you checks are authorized to cash them! I thought you had to report all withdrawals over $10,000, but my sis says her contacts at the FCC don't have any record of it!" He positively glares at the poor man. "And here I thought this bank prided itself on 'customer service and loyalty'. Well, unless you can give me a satisfactory answer to my concerns about the shoddy management I've seen so far, You can kiss my business with you goodbye!"
