  1. Will Save (1d20+10=20). Umm, in this game, it's hard to know if that roll is good or bad...
  2. Reflex save (1d20+8=10). Typical for after a crit, really
  3. Dyne watches from cover as Momentum's guerrilla strike momentarily stuns their opponent, and senses an opening! Now's my chance! I'll show her just how MUCH gravity can be a harsh mistress... Dyne gathers more gravitic power and launches another, larger wave of gravitic force-and this time lands a solid hit! Black is thrown off balance from the blow, stumbles, then catches herself...just in time for the second wave to strike her dead center, knocking her into the wall of the cave and right into dreamland! "Ha! If we are all 'failures', miss Black, then I wonder what that makes you? Oh right, you can't answer me, because you're out like a light; but then again, that is a pretty clear answer in itself!" Dyne looks to be all smiles, though it is clear he's breathing rather heavily....
  4. Ok then, once was nice, so let's try it twice! Dyne Surges to launch another assault! Graviton Wave #3 (1d20+3=23) Same deal as last attack, but the crit adds +5, so DC 39  :D
  5. Heh, that sets her up perfectly for THIS finisher: Standard action:Graviton Wave attack#2 (1d20+3=18) That's an All-Out Attack +2 attack/-2 defense coupled with a full Power Attack 5, so a net -3 attack, and an increase to DC of +5. So, DC 34  If he needs to, he'll surge and launch another one to finish her off
  6. Dyne smiles at Momentum's fast strike-and-cover. It seems he's getting better at this hero thing. I need to see if there's a way for me to help him out with his powers later on. I do have that lab under construction for powers study, after all... Turning back to the matter at hand, Dyne decides to try and end this little farce once and for all. "Lady, after spending a couple hours with you, I must say you are the creepiest, most loathsome person I've EVER had the misfortune to be forced to be in proximity to. You actually somehow almost make me doubt my faith in humanity, and that seriously pisses me off!" He gathers up a large, writhing shadowing mass of graavitic energy in his hands, and slams it into the ground, where it streaks straight towards Dark. When it gets within a couple feet of her, it bursts from the ground in a delta-shaped waveform of gravitic power, though the aim seems to be a little to the right... When Dyne sees the miss, he knows she's going to be mad, so he makes a strategic move to put one of the incubators between her and him, and plans his next strike!
  7. Ok then, Dyne's going to attack scary girl: Standard Action:Graviton Wave attack (1d20+6=8) That's a DC 29 single-target blast...or would be if that would actually hit, which I kinda doubt. *sigh* so: Move Action: Find some cover for Dyne Note: Forgot to remember fatigued from stunting those still-active comm links. So, that's -1 to attack and defense, which makes finding some cover even more urgent
  8. On advice of the refs, I'm gonna swap out distracting for touch range flaw on Dyne's Gravity Control, and roll all improved range feats into progression area feats. In essence, he's able to produce a field of a altered gravity, radiating out a huge distance from his body, which I believe fits him better thematically. Edit:also, since Profession is basically useless, I'll roll 6 of those ranks into Sense Motive, and pick up 4 ranks of bluff. Sceintist-y stuff can be covered with his Knowledge skills Doktor'd
  9. Dyne watches the two goons get their bells really rung in quick succession. As it appears that the pair at the door have things well in hand, Dyne decides to go help the guy in the restroom who had drawn off the other three. He pops up from behind the booth. "Looks like you two can handle things here, but those other three were lured away by some brave, crazy bastard who yelled from the restroom that he was calling the cops on his cell phone, so I'm going to go rescue him before we have a corpse on our hands!" Giving a brief nod to Supercape, he flies off into the restroom...in time to see a guy surrounded by a fire aura land a blazing combo on one of the goons! Huh, guess this guy wasn't so suicidal after all. Might as well lend him a hand... Concentrating for a moment, Dyne let's out a shadowy, distorted field of altered gravity that ripples throughout the bathroom! The field encloses around the three villains-avoiding the man covered in fire-though one of them manages to resist the effect, to Dyne's surprise. He then commands the gravity within the field to reverse, causing the two trapped goons to slam into the ceiling!
  10. Grapple check for Gravity control (1d20+20=33) So, the goons are either on the ceiling or heading into low orbit, though the leader now has a shot on Dyne...
  11. Well, since it appears those two goons aren't gonna do anything(unless it's to say goodnight on the next round, that is!), Dyne is gonna go back up Suzaku. So: Free action: Yell! Move Action:fly from behind the booth and burst into the bathroom!(if it requires a move action to open the door, then I'll surge for the next bit) Free Action: switch my Array to Gravity Control Standard action: Activate Gravity Control(Area Selective Move Object effect, effective damage bonus +10), reversing gravity for the three villains only. I'm applying all 4 progression feats on area for this, so if they break through the ceiling, they're going for a rather LONG ride..
  12. It's not every day you get a personal invite from the famed Doktor Archeville for a meeting of some of the greatest thinkers and professors in Freedom City, so Don knew he had to come! At the correct time, a sleek, black and white-pinstriped fully restored 1966 Shelby GT 350 pulls up to the library parking lot. Don enters the library and follows the signs to the conference room where the meeting was being held. He smiles at the small crowd already there. "Huh, I thought I was a little early. In any case, I want to thank you all for inviting me here today."
  13. As Dyne streaks towards Momentum, he makes his move! Lady, you just made a mistake. I control the powers of gravity, which mean inertia is my servant! Reacting quickly, he uses his gravity powers to stop their motion just before slamming into Momentum! He then sets them on the ground. "well, miss 'Black', That was a nice try, but Newton's Third Law has no meaning for me!"
  14. Dyne's one of the(if not THE) youngest to ever win the Nobel Prize in Physics, so he'd be a perfect fit
  15. Ok, with the three pp I got, I want to first off, pay off that silly drawback I had on Dyne's force field(it seemed like a good idea at the time...). Then, I want take a rank in Equipment to add a lab to Dyne's mansion, though I'm not sure of the proper formatting for that... Partially Doktor'd -- Force Field update done, still working on HQ.

Hmm, if this starts after Speed Freaks finishes, then count Dyne in as well Edit:...and Speed Freaks wrapped, so I'm in
  21. Victory's Big Damn Heroes moment puts Nitro into the side of a mountain. He ain't getting back up For posterity:toughness save (1d20+1=15)
  22. Surprisingly, Momentum manages to catch Nitro off guard! Momentum's kinetic assault barrels into Nitro's side, driving him back a few steps. Furious, Nitro counterattacks, launches a furious assault of fists that leaves Momentum on his knees, barely clinging to consciousness! "Kid, normally you'd be out like a light right now, but you have actually managed to thoroughly piss me off! And for that, well, you won't be chasing ANYONE anymore! It was nice knowing you, hope you get some actual brains in your next life!" Nitro slowly advances on Momentum, his hand glowing a sickly red color; somehow, Momentum gets the sense that if he's hit by that attack, he won't be getting up again, ever. Things are looking bleak for our young hero... Meanwhile, somewhere over Missouri, Victory suddenly gets a frantic broadcast from AEGIS HQ. "Agent Victory! Agent Victory! Come In! Do you copy? We noticed they stopped about forty miles from Denver, and just locked in on the two subjects with visual satellite imagery. It looks like we have a situation! That crook is about to finish off that young speedster that was aiding you! You need to be there, like YESTERDAY! Move it man! HQ out!"
  23. Hold a Sec: Nitro pulls his punch just enough for Momentum to remain conscious. However, He does this so Momentum can see EXACTLY what he's gonna do next. It won't be pretty...(Momentum gets a HP for bring subjected to intense villain cruelty)
  24. Niro:Well, that attack worked the first time, He'll do it again! Strike Attack (1d20+8=28) Yikes! That's normally a DC 23, but with the crit AND beating Momentum's defense by a full 10, that's a DC 32!
  25. Ok, Round 5! Nitro:Bruised(1) Momentum:Bruised(1) (HP 1) Victory has 1 more turn till he backs up Momentum
