  1. Nitro Toughness save (1d20+8=21)[/url Nitro is bruised
  2. While Victory pours on the MPH to reach Momentum, Nitro finally realizes he's not gonna shake Momentum. Heck, the kid was only sweating a little, while he was pretty darn winded! It l0oked like if he wanted to lose him, there was only one thing to do... "Huff...Huff...Alright kid, you wanna be so persistent? You wanna be a hero? Then get a taste of this! Nitro slows down, then suddenly reverses direction and attacks, landing a flurry of punches while his fist glows with an energy startlingly familiar to Momentum!
  3. Nitro: Since it appears he's not gonna shake Momentum, he turns around and attacks! Attack roll for Nitro (1d20+8=19) That's a rank 8 autofire strike, DC 23. But, since it beats Momentum's defense by 5(-2 for All-Out Attack), that's +2 DC for a total of DC 25
  4. Ok, Victory has 2 turns before he catches up to Momentum. Speaking of which: Round 4! Nitro:Unharmed! Momentum:Unharmed! (HP 1)
  5. "Copy that, agent Victory. A pickup team is in route and will intercept you shortly. As for the other two, the satellites have their position located in Kansas, approaching Colorado. If you book it, you should catch up to them before they cross the Rockies. HQ out."
  6. Pretty darn close, but it needed to hit a 27 (+16 for moving all out, +1 for flat-footed)
  7. Octane doesn't even get a chance for a reply before Victory's fist connects to his face, sending him rocketing away at high speed! He doesn't fly far, however, before Victory zooms past his unconscious body and catches him. That's one down! Meanwhile, somewhere on the Great Plains, Momentum and Nitro continue their warp-speed chase! When Momentum tries to goad Nitro into attacking him, Nitro only laughs. "Kid, I think you have a career in comedy, cause that was just gold! Though, if your aim was to get me mad, instead of make me laugh, then that was just pathetic." Nitro continues his blazing run across the center of the country!

  14. "Heh, I remember that, though I didn't know those poeple you pulled out were mobsters. I only got there in the middle part of the fight with that inferno man, after all." Dyne shakes his head, wondering what the heck mobsters were doing in that building. Oh well, I guess we'll never know... Dyne turns back to the scenery, trying to remember some landmarks for future referenc.
  15. Somewhere in upper New York State, Victory and Octane race neck and neck...until Victory pulls ahead just enough to put him in front of Octane-then he stops completely! Octane, thrown off guard by this maneuver, has only time for a "WHAT THE FU..." before he slams full force into Victory! Octane bounces off, skips across the ground for a few yards, and comes skittering to a halt, where he gets up, swaying on his feet a little and seeing stars. "Damn man, what the hell are you made of?!" He says, a little woozily. Victory, on his part, also sees stars for a moment, though he shakes it off. Meanwhile, south and west of Freedom City, Nitro and Momentum push speed to the limit as they blur past cities, towns and scenery in their high-speed duel! Momentum tries another Kinetic blast, but misses again as Nitro easily dodges! "Kid, I think you should quit while you're ahead, I could keep this up all day! You'll never hit me!" They continue to race across America at breakneck speed!

  17. alright then, Time for round three I guess. Nitro:Unharmed Octane:Stunned and bruised(1)! Momentum:Unharmed (HP 1) Victory:Bruised(1) (HP 2)
  18. Ok then: Octane reflex save (1d20+8=9) vs DC 25 Octane toughness save (1d20+2=15) vs DC 22 Octane is bruised AND stunned(and not moving all out anymore!) Victory needs to make a toughness save as well (DC 26)
  19. Ok, so this is how this is gonna work. Jackgar, we'll treat your attempt to emulate a brick wall with your acrobatics check as an attack, with Octane making a reflex save to dodge you. Post OOC and IC, then I'll reveal the results
  20. As Nitro burns his way south over the Pramas Bridge, He laughs at Momentum's poor aim. "HAH! What's the matter kid, sand in your eyes! My MAMA could aim better than that, and she's a blind old bat!" He continues his breakneck pace along State Route 4, quickly leaving the city in the dust as Momentum follows in pursuit! Meanwhile, Octane motors across the Lindroos Bridge, burning northward at a fast rate... and narrowly dodges a viscous assault by Victory. When Victory tries to get him to surrender, he replies "Yeah right, and I'm a purple-assed baboon! Police, AEGIS, they're all the same! So come and get me, pig!" He continues pouring on the speed, intent on trying to get away at all costs!

  22. heh. Keep in mind moving all out grants +2 defense per rank of of movement power, though you lose your dodge bonus
  23. You roughly estimate that they're moving at a brisk 10,000 MPH(gameplay wise, that's 100,000 feet, or Speed 8;x4 for moving all out)
  24. As the chase rockets through downtown, the brothers are pretty certain they've left our heroes in the dust. "Heh, hid you see the look on that bucket of bolt's face?" Yeah bro, I bet they don't even know where we ar-" Octane looks back and sees the heroes closing fast! Bro! The...the..THEY'RE ACTUALLY CATCHING UP TO US!!"WHAT?! Impossible! How can that be? We're the fastest dudes around! Grrrr...Move it Bro! Let's ditch them! You go North and I go South! We'll meet at the usual place when we lose these jokers!" The Twins put on a burst of speed, and split up! What will the heroes do?
