Angel

Angel's curiousity chafed her as she and James were escorted away from the superpowered battle. She could be in there saving the day. Her impatiance grated her. She couldn't speak to divert these guys' attentions. She had to think fast. An idea sparked! with a gasp that no one could hear, but obviously seeshe pointed toward the sky, with a horrified llok on her face. Using the distration, she jumped into a nearby bush to hide.

All of a sudden it got deadly quiet. Words tried to come out of Angel's mouth, but she obviously couldn't hear them. She was angered. Was this James's fault? Shead no answers at the moment. Nor could she recieve them.reaching into her purse ans pulling out a post it note pad and pen, she wrote, "What the hell is this?"

Angel saw James approach the men with perfect confidence. Ever though the 'go away' vibe was there, she had to see what James and his friends were up to. Approaching James and the men gracefully and without a bit of trepidation, Angel politely curtsied. "James, I hope I am not interrupting something, but is this an event I was not told about?" Her eyes went wide with shock when she saw what the meeting was about. "James, is there something you need to tell me," she said with a smile as her body tensed up subtley, ready to kick somebody's head off.

Sweet! Should we get two more or would two be enough for you?

Still if this is meant for PL10+ Witch might be overwhelmed. I'll leave this up to the guy telling the story :)

This is tough. Angel has two threads as of now and Witch has one. I don't want to be overpowered with Witch, but she's thae one that needs action now. If you suggest Angel, I'm fine with that, but I'd really like to play Witch.

Stepping away from the dance floor gracefully, Angel headed towards one of the lounges in the front. She was unaware of the group of mobsters heading in the same direction. Even if she knew they were mobsters. What did catch her eye is the couple, Mr. Passion and Ms. Decidedly-Not-Arm-Candy, walking towards the exit. They tried to hide it, but there was something suspicious about it. The lounge would have to wait. She would have to do some investigating.

"Hmph," Blackbird scoffed with a wickedly happy tone, "Fine then. Shake in your greaves." She walked behind him and rubbed the back of his neck with her finger, "I'll just have to find someone brave to kill me." Taking a step or two back from the knight, Blackbird revealed herself to the others with florish of magical silver energy. She was still wearing the same style of clothes when Zealot saw her first, but she was a lot less bloody.

Angel wanted to laugh at the sheer audacity of that first line. She would have too if this dance were not so quick and close. Also, up this close the guy was pretty fine. As they strode across the floor, she tried to keep eye contact with her new dance partners as it helped her focus, but it seemed his mind was on his date. Definitely not arm candy. "Of course," she smiled and made with like talk, "one as handsome and as passionate as yourself one never forgets." She wasn't half lying either.

Look at your backstory, it looks all nice and thought out. Mine looks like it was crunched together on a single sheet of paper. I wish for my story to fleshed out like yours. Adding a little bit to everything and such.

"I couldn't let the one who would kill me get away," Blackbird kept her hushed tone, still staying in her invisible form, but tracing her finger across Zealot's back to his chest. "That and I can't help but notice your fear of what's his name over there. You aren't going to let him get away with that, are you?"

Angel was certainly impressed with the man's savoir faire. As they danced to the music, she wondered what happened to the woman he was with. Was she just arm candy like everyone else had? She played it safe and tried not to flirt too hard. "Well then, before we forget our names, perhaps an introduction is in order?"

Checking in with Witch or Angel, whichever you think would be more appropriate. One is a PL10 hero, the other is a PL6 villain.

That looks really nice what you did for Sandman. I would like to see what you guys could do to spruce up Angel's story

Take away Angel's goggles. Fold the four points into an extra rank of Device for the bracers. With those 5 points take the flaw off of Concealment. Add 1 more rank to Concealment, and add normal hearing to the descriptors. Then add a Power Feat to Concealment, Close Range. Change Kinetic Control into Energy Control, add the Variable Descriptor feat to it. This shouldn't cost anything because the main power it's AP'd off of is 19 points and Kinetic Control is only 16 points at the moment. Finally, change Japanese to Italian. DONE BY SHÆNTHEBRAIN

Angel smiled politely at the handsome new man and curtsied. She leaned over to James and whispered, "There are certain things that must be done in these situations. Just don't forget our rendezvous after the show. I'll be waiting by the valet." She winked to James then turned to Jack. "It would be a pleasure," Angel said taking Jack's hand for the next dance.

Take Impatient as a drawback off. I don't think she's ever used it. Instead, put it as a complication. Up Drive and Climb by one. Down Perform (dance) by one. Add Language (English [base], French, Japanese, Spanish) Les mises àjour ont exécuté par Le Docteur

Witch was there, of course, but not visible. She had her eyes on the one that said he would kill her. Having forgiven him of the slight, she watched him as she snuck up behind him and put her invisible hands over his eyes. "Pssst, guess who," she whispered in his ear.

Angel could see where James's mind was at. She didn't mind where it was either, but that would definitely change her plans for the evening. She could see the papers in the morning. 'Heiress and Legacy Hero disappear into the night after soiree'. The gossip would take a few weeks to die down. Then again, why should she live scared of what a few gossip columnists said? This was her life and she was going to live it. Watching the couple get closer, Angel's voice got a bit quieter. She thought for a second and then and then smiled, "I could teach you a style. It makes you really flexible and energetic. Then again, you could teach me that lick style too."
