  1. Angel was completely oblivious to the couple getting closer. She had her eye on James, as he was most intriguing at the moment. She nodded as he explained himself on the spice of the moment "True, though I like to live everyday as my last. There's nothing I haven't tried once, and if there is, well I'd like to try it." She chuckled at his acknowledgement of skill, "Maybe that's something you need to do? Learn some style. It definitely beats licking." She winked at him when he set the place for whatever time. When the festivities died down they both would have something to do.
  2. Angel took the sudden spin gracefully and with a flourish. "Really? You've become that blase with it already?" She liked him, but he seemed like he would be a joykill when the fun came. "You're a fighter, huh," she snickered, "Maybe one day I'll have to see what you're like." She nodded, "Yeah, clubs are fun, you meet the most interesting people in clubs. Especially in Freedom City. And yes, boredom is death." She whispered, "Maybe later on we can sneak away and not be bored?"
  3. "Oh just the usual," Angel snickered, "racing fast cars, climbing tall buildings and base jumping off of them, and occasionally going out and getting into a fight." She sighed blissfully, he wouldn't believe it. "So, what do you do when you're not going to social events like these?"
  4. If it's not too late or you'd like another character, Angel or Witch would happily join.
  5. I'd like to see what you could do for Angel. Heck, I know she just got approved bot take a shot at Witch too.
  6. Scowling after the knight disappeared, Blackbird picked herself up off the car. "Kill me will you," she thought out loud, "Let's see you try!" She riffled through the pockets of the dead for keys. And wallets. Old habbits die hard. When she was done with them she threw the lifeless bodies into the nowhere of her magic. She had enough cash to last her for a while and a new car. Though she would eventually have to dump the bodies and the car somewhere. Maybe the Headmistress had such a place.
  7. Blackbird snickered at the knight's flustration. "Now why would you kill me," she asked slowly tracing one of the silver lines across her torso as she singsongly hummed, "Do I look like a witch? Do I sound like a witch? You don't want to kill me, do you?"
  8. Blackbird smiled at the witch comment. What, if anything, was she but a witch? Taking a cautious step toward him, she stared at the wicked barbed weapon. "No, I have no ties to this life anymore," she lied. Gracefully jumping up on the hood of her new found prize, she laid across it, keeping her eyes on the knight. "So you're a killer, huh? Like professionally? I could use someone like you tonight." She meant, of course, to take out some other gangs, but she wouldn't mind if he got the wrong idea.
  9. Blackbird looked at her knight in shining armor with a scowl. "I gues you're the hero, right? Come to take me away for murder, right? Well, seeing as what you just did was damn near close to what I did, I do believe we're even." She held her gun tightly at her side, watching the 'hero', waiting for him to make an offensive move.
  10. Shots (1d20=12, 1d20=7, 1d20=8, 1d20=9)
  11. The thugs watched the horrible act. That was their homey that crazy bitch just shot. Almost all of them swallowed hard as they saw it. In rage half of them shot at her. All of them missing.
  12. Taking 10 to shoot him. It hits. Toughness (1d20+2=20) Taking 10 on Bluff to Taunt as a move action. Which is 15. vs Demoralize (1d20=13, 1d20=9, 1d20=4, 1d20=10, 1d20=19, 1d20=5, 1d20=20, 1d20=8) The first four, the sixth, and the eighth are demoralized
  13. Blackbird quickly took another shot at the closest gang member. It was a solid hit, or was it? Maybe it bounced off something. Maybe it went through his coat. Either way, he was not bleeding, and she was not happy. Thinking quickly she taunted them, "You're all going to end up like this guy here. Every last one of you." Just for good measure she took the gun and swiftly shot at the ex-thug under her feet. It bounced off of his skull.
  14. Then again, they could have all went before us or all after us and where would the fun in that be?

  16. Can't beat that at all So, we have 10 thugs surrounding a car. They have guns. How do we do this?
  17. Thread for Witch and Zealot
  18. Blackbird aimed to forget her old life. This was where she started, her old stomping grounds. The moon glinted off of the thin silver lines across her body. She wasn't trying to be subtle at all. She was waiting for some lowlife to come at her. Her clothing made these dog's mouth water. And there they were, just as planned. A group of thugs surrounded a hot looking car. Much better than the cars of her era. They're sleeker and all around better looking. Not only would she get some pent up rage, but there would be a reward. One of them whistled. "Hey girl, you look like you ready for bed," another of them shouted, "I can take you there!" One of them even approached her. Her pulse quickened. It was show time. By the time the thug reached her she quickly yanked a gun from seemingly nowhere and blew a large hole in his chest. The others didn't see or her the shot, they did hear his death wail. She put her foot on the bloody spot where the former thug's chest used to be. The rest of them scrambled for their pieces. She quietly dared them to come closer with a wicked grin.

The Bayview Bengals – Terra Conners sat in a plain metal chair, looking up at a caged television screen in Blackstone Correctional. She sat with her arms crossed, they themselves crossed with scars and tattoos, one on her bicep of a Bengal Tiger. She had been charged with the murders of her fellow gang members. They had been found burned to death inside the gang’s Bayview hideout. Even with them all dead, there was still fire in Terra’s mind, fire in her eyes. One had escaped her. One had yet to feel the flames of hate upon her skin. She would find Blackbird, and she would burn.

Mother – Blackbird got to her feet and stared again at the computer screen. The screen showed a page from a Freedom City Newspaper circa 1993. A picture of a woman, her face angular and unsmiling, hung above an article proclaiming her death. “Ariel Starblossom passed away at 40 from an apparent drug overdose. Her family could not be reached for more information regarding her life. We are sure she will be missed.†This was Blackbird’s mother, she had died while Blackbird was imprisoned…family could not be reached… Blackbird felt scarlet pangs through her chest as she read these lines. Anger, grief, and unreconcilable guilt wracked her heart as she cried, tears flowing freely down her reddened cheeks.

Caellin – Blackbird felt a stirring in her stomach, an alien presence vieing for control over her senses. In her mind she heard a voice, wild and strong, full of anger. Give me control, child! I will not be a tool at the hands of an infant! You know not what tempest stirs in your soul! I am power! I am the sea, and I will be free of this prison! Blackbird came to on the floor, curled into a ball, whimpering as the pain lashed through her head. She felt weak beside such force, and she curled on herself as a child in the womb, seeking the safety in the sound of her mothers hearbeat.

The Fae Prince- Veldaeren Erlson, Prince of the Wildfae and son to the Erlking sat, watching the colors play upon the fountain like fireworks. The image congealed into a picture of a young woman, sitting in a dorm room, staring into a computer screen. Veldaeren smiled, it was at once fatherly and cunning, wild and soft. “Blackbird, you beautifully petulant child. How do you expect these mortals to protect you? They can not even hide you from my sight. In time I will have you returned to me. I have great plans for you and Caellin, you both have work yet to do before your time is done.â€Â
  23. Changed Accurate to Masterwork
  24. The Fortitude save is her weakness. Cant be good at everything. Especially with 90pps I believe you're miscounting the skills. It might be the Language you're missing. Accurate is not masterwork, it is a laser sight. Subtle is a noise/flash supressor.
