  1. Valkyrie does not roll well Her Wisdom drops to 10. Her Will save drops to +4. White Knight is up.
  2. Starsign: Have an HP for Danielle being there, and another HP for the Nazi thing.
  3. Klansman just managed to dodge as the powerful wave of music went rushing past him, blasting a hole in the wall of the airship behind him and opening even more to the sky. "You damn rocker!" yelled Klansman, the wind coming from two directions whipping at his white cape, stained now with the blood of the cops he'd beaten up. "Your race music has rotted your brain! If you blow up the cab, we all fall down!" Over on the other side of the airship, the blast was easily loud enough to catch the attention of Rycon and Kid Cthulu. They'd landed in the room with the hostages, they realized, the police officers bound, gagged, and bleeding from injuries that looked serious, but not life-threatening. Rycon quickly picked out Danielle, who looked disheveled but otherwise unhurt; her cousin looking up at her with wide eyes and screaming something through her gag! The two young heroes found out what it was a moment later, when a black-clad figure wielding two swastika-emblazoned blades reared up behind Kid Cthulu and plunged her daggers through his wings! "Die, mutie freak!" she yelled, her heavy Scandanavian accent clear in her words.
  4. Despite a good attack roll, Klansman pulls it off and avoids being hurt. Valkyrie spends her move action getting to where the two teens crashed through the window. She attacks from Stealth, taking the kids flat-footed. (She loses that benefit on the next round.) She hits Kid Cthulu With a full-on Power Attack and Autofire, that's a DC 25 Tou save.
  5. Okay, Sage is stunned and bruised. Rycon holds her action till Kid Cthulu goes. Warren is up.
  6. Hellion Midnight II Wander Seraph Sage and Geckoman Go nuts, all. =)
  7. It was a quiet Memorial Day weekend around Freedom City, one quiet enough that many of Freedom City's superheroes (including its teenage contingent) went out of town to visit their families over the weekend, or go elsewhere with their families to enjoy the long weekend. Claremont Academy was hosting a barbecue for the kids who had no place to go, but there were plenty of other things to do in and around campus. Until, that is, the emergency alert went off: it rang first for the members of Young Freedom, jangling through the communicators they all carried, but then it began beeping frantically all across campus. This was a school emergency, requiring the attention of many of the teenage heroes at Claremont who weren't affiliated with Young Freedom. The Freedom Leaguer Siren had been visiting campus for the holiday, perhaps to visit her old friend Duncan Summers, and she quickly took charge of the emergency. "Everyone who can help, follow me! If you can't get yourself quickly, find a teleporter, flier, or speedster, and follow the distress call." She took out her League transponder and fiddled with it quickly, her scientist's fingers moving fast over the hand-sized piece of high technology. "If you have to get there on your own, use League coordinates 08401-08406. That'll put you in Ashton, right at...oh, by the loa, it's Rick Lucas' house." Siren had been on the old Freedom League; the ageless beauty had been there since the 1960s. She knew Rick Lucas, the former mascot-cum-junior member of the Silver Age League, and of course his son, Claremont student Mark Lucas, very well indeed. "Quickly now!"
  8. OK, _way_ too many people volunteered for this one, guys. =) Our roster will be: Hellion Midnight II Wander Seraph Sage and Geckoman This thread is appearing in Bayview this weekend.
  9. Valkyrie is tired of Klansman's constant misogynist jokes, so she just stays hidden and lets him do his thing. Rycon is up.
  10. The white-robed avenger of whiteness took a step back, but mastered his fear of the girl who'd swung in through the window. "Cowardly superstitious mutie freak! I'll show _you_ fear!" And with that he reached into his Confederate-starred utility harness and pulled out a Klan-a-rang, hurling with deadly accuracy at the mute gymnast, the whirling white star slashing across her face.
  11. Klansman passes And since I forgot that Stealth is a move action rather than standard action, he can act on this turn and attack Sage. DC 21 Tou save, Sorus
  12. You can see Klansman; he's lurking in the shadows of the cockpit. (White robes aren't good for that.) Valkyrie and the hostages must be somewhere else.
  13. Positron flinched as Avenger practically bathed in his blood, then narrowed his eyes at Jack of Blades. "Fine! Fine, it's Walter Cox! He hired me. I'll give you his address, he-" He was a good liar, but not good enough to fool either Jack of Blades or Avenger. Avenger put his hand on Positron's shoulder and glared at him. "Tell the truth." His gaze was flat and implacable, his eyes set cold and hard above his mask. "Or I will begin to do such things..." At that, Positron gulped, stared back at Avenger, and said, "It's...it's Jonathan Grant, man. Grant Conglomerates! Cox used to be his assistant, but he started selling max on the side so he could buy his own dope! I was supposed to whack him for him! You know, kill Cox so he'd stop stealing from Grant!"
  14. Valkyrie moves to the other side of the airship and conceals herself. DC 27 to Notice her once you're inside. Darius, I'll go ahead and let you do that without a roll. Rule of Cool. Since she held her action, Sage is up, then Rycon. Sage, give me an Acrobatics check.
  15. Spent 3 HPs there, but I think it did the trick. Remember to add ten to his attack and nullify because of the HP expenditure.
  16. Edge made a rapid leap of logic, the only kind he ever made. An evil shapeshifter has replaced Geckoman! He fired his grapple gun at the bank and swung over, calling out, "Seraph, follow me!" Once there, he flew through the window just after Geckoman, landing moments after the powerful blow on the unfortunate Breakdown. "You've just cashed your last paycheck, Grue!" He spat at the false mimic of his friend, before concentrating on him and shouting, "Luckily, I think your time has RUN OUT!"
  17. White Knight: 4 Klansman: 21 Valkyrie: 19 So our order is Klansman: 21 Sage: 21 Fulcrum: 20 Valkyrie: 19 Rycon: 19 Warren: 13 Kid Cthulu: 10 White Knight: 4 Klansman uses his action to conceal himself aboard ship. It'll be a DC 24 Notice check for people aboard the airship to spot him. Sage is up.
  18. People were running and screaming in terror, and flakes of dust and cement were falling; what on Earth had just happened? The realization would have taken Avenger's breath away, if he breathed at all. Shaking off a moment of shock at what he'd just done, and how successful he'd been, Avenger grabbed the great beast by the back of the head and slammed it into the ground, again and again. "STOP! MOVING!"
  19. Since you've indicated that you have a reason for the inefficiencies and sub-optimizations in the build... APPROVED
  20. All heroes present get an HP for the complication. Let's have an initiative check, shall we?
  21. Aboard the airship, White Knight peered out the window and shook his head. "Stupid mongrel trash. Throw the colored one over!" He paused, glared at his putative allies, and realized that neither Klansman nor Valkyrie were about to do what he said. With a muttered curse, and despite the hostages cries' for mercy, White Knight grabbed the black police officer he'd beaten into unconsciousness earlier and strode through the small hatch to the airship corridor. He threw open the airlock, wind whipping at his hair, and brandished the hostage by the ankle, sneering at the heroes flying by outside. "Hope you can catch him!" And with that, he hurled the man out into the wide and wild blue. Trusting that the hero would waste her time trying to catch the falling cop, he flew out and straight at her!
  22. You need to put in the cost of your array and the cost of its various APs. You need to make sure you call your feats by their right names (i.e; that feat you want is called Improved Feint.) Powers are bolded.
  23. "May shock you. Don't be concerned," said Avenger calmly as he strode over to the semi-conscious Positron. The rain had cleared by now, giving a cool dampness to the summer night that seemed to make everything especially vivid. When Positron opened his eyes, Avenger slammed the crowbar between them, hard enough to knock the man down without actually knocking him out. He gave a wicked chuckle as he ran his fingers through glowing white blood on the crowbar, straddling the fallen supervillain, then ran his dappled fingers below his nose and the top edge of his mask. "Positron. Hehheheh. Wonder if your screams will smell as sweet."
