This could cut two ways, neither of them good. Either the case doesn't seem to be going well for WB and they have to settle in order to actually get the movie out, which would be disastrous for them, or the case drags on into the actual release date and they have to push it back, which will cost them money anyway. I think Fox might have them by the short hairs here. :(

Same here. I'm really sorry to see you go, but I understand that it's not the end of Grimalkin, which makes it a little bit better.

Huh, I've never thought about that. I think it would stay alive, but no longer be able to move. The various stages of cell death, etc, I think we could skip over, but you would have to get to the limb quickly. Unless, of course, you're a machine or something similar that doesn't have to worry about those things.

I have to admit, it looks pretty good. The only problem I have is with Wolverine all of a sudden being the leader of the X-Men. He's always been a lone wolf, not a commander. Why isn't Cyclops stepping up? Professor X was grooming him to be the field leader, not Wolverine. The only thing he has going for him is popularity, which is enough to net him the top spot, apparently. I'll still give it a look. At least they're not teenagers anymore. (Ugh. )

I laughed when I read about the Secret Service raiding Jackson, though. I got one of the first runs of Cyberpunk, and the story was all over the inside blurb. If you've never read the story, do it. It's one of those "it's so stupid, it's funny" moments. Except for the stuff they never gave back.

The metal boy stopped his avalanche of words for a moment, seemingly wondering about something, then started right back in again. "This will be the first time I beat up an acid blob, though. I beat up a person made out of bugs once, and that was super gross, but I've never done a blob before. Do you think I'll be able to hit it normally, or will I have to use a car or something like that? I'm really strong, by the way, so if you need me to do that, I can." He flexed his arms to emphasize his point, but nothing really stuck out on his mostly flat body.

Crap. Okay, the Invisible Castle site is down right now, but we'll assume my roll stank and both of you get to act first, hmm? Also, I have been unbelievably busy this week, and I'm really sorry I didn't get to post here until now. It shouldn't happen again.

Actually, that's Yoruichi Shioin, a character from the anime Bleach. I suppose Mongrel Angel could look like that, minus the wings, of course.

"I'm ready!" Daisuke chirped happily. At least they had a direction now, even if it was just wandering about for a while. And he even got to hang out with a honest-to-goodness angel! Ren-kun would be so jealous! He eagerly followed after the group, keeping close to the winged girl more than anyone else. If he thought about it, he wasn't really sure how much help he could be against acidic blobs, though. All he could do was hit things, and that didn't really help him against the bug beast he faced back in Ashton. To get rid of that thing, he'd had to set a house on fire, and he doubted the police would look kindly on that sort of thing happening a lot. Besides, it was a park, and there wasn't really any houses here to blow up.
