Rose felt rather happy when she contacted the robot - even though she didn't seem to do much damage. Seeing the Emissary belt it to pieces, however, was very satisfying. It could be said she got too caught up watching the pieces of the robot float silently through space - it was actually rather beautiful - but it distracted her from the task at hand, and she felt another beam of energy hit her from the side. She screamed in shock and pain, and for a moment, everything went black. Woah - that's never happened before.

For a time (a good amount of time, it seems), Kevin stands by himself as the family busy about Clyst. The old gent that Kevin had seen before also makes his way into the room eventually, striding bast Kevin as if he wasn't even there. After a while, the whole scene gets a little boring. Kevin finds solace in a rather cool poster of 'Science Dog', a comic book character who's part science, part dog and all hero. So engrossed is he that he doesn't realise that Tesla Atom is standing right next to him, "You can't go anywhere, you know?"
