  1. Today
  2. 24 For Initiative as Puma is dragged into a conflict she is just now learning about. Want me to roll Reflex as well
  3. "Uh...y..yeah." He mumbled, watching the creature go flying. "...Well. Thanks." he said, offering a smile to the Alien. "We uh...we don't have people like you around anymore. I mean there's some. But the Centurion's dead, Captain Thunder's retired...Obviously the Freedom League is supreme, like Miss Fleur, but uh...I've never seen someone whose got powers like I've got up close before. That was...really impressive, M'am." He finally said before looking around and floating over to Carmen. "Er...excuse me, one moment." he said, bending his head in an apologetic gesture before turning to float over to the Catgirl "...Are you okay? I'm sorry...I got us all tangled up in something and this was supposed to be our first date." he said to her, rubbing his arm. "...Kind of a bad first showing for me as a boyfriend."
  4. The Galloping Ghost disappeared! He was at a single moment running towards the fireworks truck, then he completely disappeared! Where could he possibly have gone?! It's impossible to know! Well, unless you knew what the whispering, whipping wind beneath the metal man, what the sound of the ghostly, howling wail, what the clattering hooves that seemed to come from nowhere meant! Because those were the signs of the Galloping Ghost, the Equine Ectoplasmic Entity! The Metal Man was about to find this out first hand, as suddenly, as the little metal man was rushing down the tracks, the howling, clattering and whinnying was coming straight for him! As the Ghost emerged from nothingness in front of the Metal Man and was charging directly at him, intent to run him down under his mighty hooves!
  5. Iris gets a 24! Though she is untrained so that's just 15.
  6. Cerebral and Cerebellum Iris narrowed her eyes for a moment when Lawrence mentioned that Lynn's home timeline was gone. However she would not ask questions as she might have an idea of what happened...at least the broad stuff, if what Lawrence had told them at Fiji applied there. "I see, well I shall be here for her as well. Daniel also. She'll be in good hands." She confirmed with a nod. Daniel, would blink as he didn't notice anyone new come into the arcade. His eyes swept over to the Ace Combat game and he blinked. Was...was that Mizuki? When did she get here? She seemed to be busy however and so he would not bother her. Instead he moved back to Street Fighter and just watched the girls. "You know you're doing pretty well umm...Lynn was it?"
  7. Per chat, Lawrence gets a 28 on his history check!
  8. Timeout Lawrence gave his friends a faint smile as they offered to help Lynn with adjusting to being in a new timeline. The blond teen focused on Iris as he responded, continuing to use a low voice so Lynn would not hear. "It's gone." He didn’t add any detail, trusting that what he had reveled on the beach during the Fiji trip would explain well enough. His expression softened slightly as he continued. "Right now, the main thing we've been told is just giving her time and be understanding and supportive. Beyond just the trauma of it all, there is a lot to adjust to. While her timeline was very similar, there are differences in events and people. And if that was not enough, she left her timeline in the early half of 2030, so what is similar here is like reliving her past." Over at the video game, Lynn seemed to have gotten the hang of the controls and at least the basic moves of the character she was playing. "Thanks, I guess." She replied to Sam, giving the faintest trace of a smile that quickly faded. She paused a moment and then looked back over to Sam. "Sorry, I was never much of a gamer, and the last few weeks have been….difficult."
  9. "Ah, I see. Well, I hope we can be welcoming to her. And if she needs anything you can't manage, don't be afraid to ask me or Sam for help, we want to give a hand." "Don't sign me up for stuff I didn't agree to!" Sam yelled over her shoulder as she played with Lynn. She was clearly impressed with the younger girl's speed and reflexes. "Ah, you're really good Lynn!" She said, apparently deciding seemingly on a whim she was fond of the younger speedster. She could be a bit mercurial after all. "Don't worry about Michael, he's the world's most perfect square. If you ever need anything, trust me to help you out." She grinned as she helped her learn. She could respect her skills, at the very least. Micahel looked at Iris and Lawrence after that outburst and offered a vague gesture of acceptance at this. "You don't have to say anything if you don't want to, any friend or sibling of yours is someone I'll look out for, no questions asked." He said with sincerity. He knew abiut Collapse now, he'd seen the monsters that dogged Lawrence first hand, but his voice was just as confident that if this was related, he'd not even need an explanation if he needed help.
  10. Cerebral and Cerebellum Iris shook her head. "The Headmistress is alright. She has helped us a lot." The young woman would have said more about how she enjoyed her time at the Academy and how she had made more friends then she had ever. But it seems like Michael wanted to leave. They probably weren't supposed to be backstage so it made sense. "Oh! Umm...a-are we allowed to be here or...?" Daniel, meanwhile, was not feeling any awkwardness despite all the looks he was getting. The young man was on the dance floor now, letting loose and finally relaxing for the first time in a while.
  11. Yesterday
  12. Initiative Roll (Iris) - 13 Initiative Roll (Daniel) - 20
  13. Neko Musume Neko closed her eyes against the grenade's flare and weaved her way through the British patrol's hail of bullets - no, she blinked away the flash of light from Esquire and dodged the blasts of the drones, unhurt by either but growing tired, so very tired. Abandoning Esquire with a sneer of contempt, she rose to her feet and walked towards Hotshot's fallen form, dodging the shots that came her way from the hovering robots even as the twins destroyed them. Lawrence was doing very well, the twins were doing very well - but if more allies came, they were going to die here in the jungle, and meet an unspeakable fate at the hands of the - of the supervillains. She asked a question in Japanese, her voice a growl that seemed deeper than her small frame should have been capable of, then shook her head and went on in English. "Once I crouched at Crimson Katana's left hand." She walked right up to Hotshot, studied him briefly, and then hit a big red button she spotted under his armpit. She'd guessed right with her knowledge of the technology of this era and the man's armor partially retracted, showing an all-too-human face. She reached up behind her head and pulled out a long metal chopstick, her white and brown hair falling loose behind her. She put it directly over his face, right above his eye, her palm ready to push. "I want to talk diplomacy. I want to talk to the one in charge. Ten." As loudly as she could, she thought at the twins: "Find mission control! Find the one controlling the drones!"
  14. Initiative Results 1d20: 16 [1d20=16]
  15. Neko walks over to Hotshot and removes his armor. It might be hard to lose but he's helpless. She sits on his chest and uses her Distract (Bluff) feat - https://orokos.com/roll/1011750 = 21 is too low. (this is with the penalty for her fatigued) https://orokos.com/roll/1011752 okay, with the HP that's a 28, now we're in business.
  16. Nope - although the game itself is buzzing and sparking
  17. I just wanted to ask, Daniel pulled the game out of the console, did that effect anything or not? Just wondering.
  18. And we have the FINAL BOSS FIGHT! FIrst off you all succumb (or dont) to a Dazzle 5 (Visual) effect from the burst of light. (DC 15 Reflex) Iris is recovering from being unconsious, so eyes closed and she is immune to that effect. However, the light also awakes her. Then could I have initiative from you all. G Sparks Inits is 13!
  19. GM Meanwhile... Amidst the chaos... More Chaos was to come. The Nintendo 64 startes buzzing, the sparking, and then in an explosion of blue-white light, General Sparks was in the real world! The light was blinding - enough to give the poor students glowing after images in their retina's for days. But - if they could see (and that was to be determined!) - they would have seen a General Sparks transformed. Not flesh, no! But living lightning! A man sized shape of pure energy. One could still see his ridiculously tall military hat, his flared gloves and boots, and his short cape, all now made of blue-white electricity. "I AM HERE TO CONQUER!" he yelled, flexing his lightning muscles, and standing tall and triumphant. Lamentably, his form was still only two feet tall. But short stature never stopped any dictator!
  20. Echohead "I'm fine, I'm fine..." said Echohead. "Just a mild case of extreme anxiety. Nothing to worry about, eh?" His throat felt dry, his cheeks felt flushed. He was very glad his high - tech sunglasses were black. The thought struck him - the hospital would have diazepam, wouldn't it? No - no - NO! that way lay madness. "Patient Zero. Who was he?" he asked. "How did this... happen?" Perhaps the hospital staff had some clue. "Do you have his medical records? I understand confidentiality, but given the situation we are in..."
  21. Cerebral and Cerebellum The twins would look away as the flash went off, so they would not be as effected as Esquire might have intended. However both would notice that Neko was surrounded by drones! Sure she could handle herself, but they had to help their team mate dang it! Iris and Daniel nodded and both held out a hand each. Iris gripped one of the drones in her telekinesis, Daniel repeated her actions with another and they pulled the drones back and slammed them into the ones beside them. BOOM!
  22. Plenty of speed! And concealment will work fine too. Post away
  23. Paradigm Once again the remaining Hound telepath sent a psychic blast at Paradigm. However, as before, the Naram paragon was seemingly unaffected by the attack as she looked briefly about the area before focusing back on Michael and the Boran he had just hit. "I appreciate the bravery, and do not doubt you could deal with this one. But right now he is the most significant threat present." With that, she delivered a powerful right hook to the Boran’s chin. WHAM The blow knocked it off its feet and sent it sailing backward, only halted by slamming into part of the plant barrier that Fleur had put up, where it collapsed to the ground unconscious. Not far away, Star Khan turned his gaze at the Hound telepath and raised one gauntlet and fired and energy blast that knocked the telepath off its feet and sent it flying backward to similarly land unconscious. Over by Predator, the remaining conscious Boran looked about, seeing its unconscious leader, the two unconscious Justicars, and so many of its other allies down as well. So the large alien dropped its melee weapon and took a few steps back from Predator as it raised its empty hands in front of it. <"I yield."> It stated in GalStandard, though the intent was rather clear to even those that did not speak the language. The remaining troopers along the perimeter of the fight similar took their hands off the pommel and triggers of their energy weapons and slowly set them on the ground with their off-hands before taking a step away from them and raising empty hands as well. The remaining Hunter had pushed itself back upright, but seeing that its remaining allies were done fighting, the pilot powered the mecha down, and then disengaged the hatch and climbed out, showing empty hands as well.
  24. Okay, with the number priority targets dropping, Paradigm will focus on the Boran Lt. 14, boo, will reroll: 30 (with the +10 for being below 10 on the roll). DC 32 toughness save: 10, that is a KO. Star Khan will blast at the Hound telepath. 23 hits, DC 29 toughness save: 12 also KO'd. With that, the last Boran Lt, hurt bad and now badly outnumbered will surrender, as will the troopers that have been holding their actions. The Hunter will as well, the pilot turning off the mecha and getting out. So, will make my IC post and combat will be done!
  25. Whatever this thing was to this alien race, La Puma wasn't going to take being grabbed by it in some sort of mental projection standing and so continued her assault of the alien being like it was a form of a good Earth welcome. Of course, her welcome was anything but welcoming as she launched into a sort of assault that she had modelled off a video game, slashing several times before pushing her body up to uppercut this hound creature, knocking it out as she flipped backwards, landing on two feet a good few feet away and observing the now knocked out alien. They wouldn't be getting up for a awhile after that. "Alright, whose next!" she'd shout, a bit too pumped.
  26. Grapple Roll Results 2#1d20+14: 2 # 20 [1d20=6] 15 [1d20=1] so two drones are Grappled, then thrown into two other drones. Since these are minions, I'll just take 10 on those attacks as well; since the idea is you have taken 10 on the first minions, grappled them, then thrown them as projectiles. While that's a lot of rolls, it makes since you'd need to do something like that to me, since this is basically making two attacks in a turn, plus since they're minions it's not that bad. So now the drones have to make DC 23 Toughness saves- your Telekinesis Power Rank's damage- Toughness Results 4#1d20+8: 4 # 12 [1d20=4] 20 [1d20=12] 28 [1d20=20] 19 [1d20=11] So that's 3 destroyed Drones, leaving 1 of the 4 okay and one that wasn't targeted. Go ahead and make an IC post @Dracosternand then it's @Avenger Assembled's turn Round 3 Neko: 28, 1HP Kazra: 26, Dazed, 2x Bruised Timeout: 21, 3HP Esquire: 21, 1x Bruise, Everyone has Total Concealment from him. Drones: 13, 2 of them remaining Hotshot: Unconscious Daniel: 4, Bruise Iris: 4 2HP
  27. It gets a 13 this time, we will call that KO'd.
