Shadowboxer
I recently discovered a generator that builds characters in the style of the DC Animated Universe. I've used Hero Machine and I do like it, but this one is amazing. The selections are numerous and the illustrations are spot on. I've already redesigned my character and the results were impressive: One problem is that the site is in Portuguese. After tinkering with it for a few minutes I figured out how it works. Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and hit the CRIAR!!! button, and the rest is self-explanatory. The website, Fabrica de Herois, is here. Link to comment
Dr Archeville
Portuguese? Bah! My Spanish lessons are of little help there! :P Link to comment
Nyrath
Hmm, can't seem to find any save function. Other than that it seems quite good. Link to comment
Shadowboxer
Portuguese? Bah! My Spanish lessons are of little help there! That's far more than what my French classes can offer. Hmm, can't seem to find any save function. Other than that it seems quite good. I used a screen capture, assuming you're using a Mac. I don't know how other platforms perform that function. Link to comment
nareik123
Print screen for Windows. Link to comment
Bendigeidfran
Anyone up for explaining how you print and save the bloody picture!? Link to comment
Dr Archeville
Seems you have to do Print Screen (for Windows) or Screen Capture (for Mac) to save the image. (edited so as not to seem so snarky/pedantic.) Link to comment
Barnum
Your keyboard should have a "Prnt Scrn" button. That copies an image of your screen to the Windows clipboard. You can then open your favorite image editing software, create a new blank image and paste the captured image to it. Link to comment
Bendigeidfran
That doesn't really explain how you store the pictures before editing them. Link to comment
Dr Archeville
Actually, it does. Print Screen to copy the pic from the site. (well, copy the entire page) Paste to a new/blank image in some image editing software (like MS Paint or Photoshop). Save. Edit as needed. Unless what you're really asking is "how do I save a pic so it can be re-edited using the same software." In that case, that answer would seem to be "you can't." Link to comment
Jack of Tales
Yea works like a charm. Made a quick image of Kiera for when/if I take part in Heridfel's AoO universe thread/game. Will be interesting to swing her as evil. Link to comment
Dr Archeville
Hrrmmm... there doesn't seem to be a labcoat, but a trenchcoat's close enough (especially after a bit of editing). Link to comment
Master_Pelle
I have tried the software and it seem that it is still in developed. I have made Reflexion using the software and I have to use some tricks to get closer image of my Reflexion. I wished the guy could add more type of armor... Link to comment
Bendigeidfran
OK, now I've got it. Turned out to be a good picture, after all. Now all I gotta do is figure out how to post pictures on the forum and I'm set. Link to comment

Bendigeidfran
OK, so here is the picture, I hope. I made it to make it look like an OC both Nyrath and I share in our fanfictions. Link to comment

Barnum
They all have such good posture. :D Link to comment
Jack of Tales
They all have such good posture. Didn't you know? Etiquette and posture are an essential part of hero-ing >.> Link to comment
Nyrath
Got some done and saved, and realized that most of my characters go in for monochrome quite heavily. First up, Exile. Doesn't quite do him justice, though it'll serve. Secondly I went and did Mongrel Angel, though the base model is rather, "flattering", compared to she's actually formed. The splash of colour is there pretty much solely to break up the vastness of the monochrome. And lastly we have Frederick von Eaicher, aka "The Count" (he's really a baron). A character that'll potentially see play around here on the PL 6 level. I could show you his character sheet in case your interested. Link to comment
Master_Pelle
I have tried it again and created different kind of character. This time I have created a supervillain who is a low powered paragon who have gone bad. I think that I will call him Super Thug and I have started to make stats for him. Link to comment
Barnum
Tisk, tisk. Someone should have told him that horizontal stripes can add 10 pounds. ;) Link to comment
Veiled Malice
Looks like it added more than that. Link to comment
Master_Pelle
Tisk, tisk. Someone should have told him that horizontal stripes can add 10 pounds. Well... He don´t seem care about it... But the reason I gave him black and white horizontal stripes is because that I want his costume to look like a prisoner clothing and to make him look like a real bad guy. Link to comment

But the reason I gave him black and white horizontal stripes is because that I want his costume to look like a prisoner clothing and to make him look like a real bad guy. Which is incredibly awesome. He needs a ball and chain. Link to comment
