Antimummies
Move Action: Run at the heroes!
Standard Action: Charge Arrowhawk: 1d20+12 30

That's a DC 20 Fortitude Save vs. Stun for John.

The remaining four move closer as well but none of them are close enough to attack the heroes this turn.

27 - Arrowhawk - Uninjured, 3HP, Pending Fortitude Save
23 - Antimummies x5 - Uninjured
23 - Antimummy - Destroyed
> 19 - Meatheral - Uninjured, 1HP
17 - Sun Walker - Unijured, 6HP
16 - Set - Uninjured, 4HP
15 - Miras - Uninjured, 1HP
9 - Sekhmet - Uninjured

Hm. Let's see...

Move Action: Get up in the face of the next-closest Anti-Mummy.

Free Action: Power Attack for 5.

Standard Action: Unarmed Melee Attack: 19. If that hits without a reroll, that's a DC 25 Toughness Save.

If that doesn't hit, then Hero Point Reroll: 16, which becomes 26 with the reroll bonus. So the same DC would apply.

So ideally I hit without burning a Hero Point, but if I gotta burn one, I burn one.

They've got a Defense of 20, I'm afraid, so he will need to burn that HP to hit. Somehow I doubt he'll run out just yet!

As a side note, feel free to make a Knowledge [Theology and Philosophy] or Sense Motive check to surmise why Set might be so upset about the situation, everyone!

Arrowhawk

John's seen that look in the mirror before. The moment he saw the creatures climbing out of the ruins Set went from playing off concern about the situation with jokes to cold, hard rage. This isn't the sort of anger that burns quickly and out of control, it's the sort that demands vengeance no matter how long it takes, the sort that wants to

hurt the one to blame. It's the sort that's turned inward because the one Set is really angry with is himself; he wasn't fast enough, wasn't smart enough, couldn't prevent this in time. He's taking it all very personally.

Meatheral

Jerry recalls that the ancient Egyptians considered the preservation of the body to be a requirement for eternal life. The painstaking mummification process took more than two months with a symbolic 'resurrection' so that the spirit could rejoin with the body and the deceased could be presented before Osiris, ruler of the dead.

It's not hard for Jerry to figure out why Set - whether he's an actual god or just a believer in that mythology - would be upset about the desecration of these bodies and he's certainly not happy about doing more damage to them now. Sekhmet's comment suggests that it's too late to do much more than put the antimummies down quickly and stop whatever caused this. Even so, Set seems to be taking things much more personally than the goddess.

Miras

It's pretty common knowledge that ancient Egyptians believed in 'taking it with you' so Asli can make a pretty easy leap of intuition and assume that Set is angry about the desecration of the mummified bodies and their tombs. He definitely seems to be taking it worse than Sekhmet, which seems a little weird since Asli would have pegged the latter as the angrier of the pair normally.
